Procedure
First update request REQU_3X0SE4NMKVSV8RHYUF24SL4UB(207,922) for DataSource 8ZMXAPO03 from source system BW2-021 from the PSA into ODS object.
If you do not need the data in request REQU_3X0SE4NMKVSV8RHYUF24SL4UB (207,922) in the ODS object, you can also set the total status for this request to (red) in the Monitor, on theStatus tab page. When checking for completeness, the system then ignores the request.

There is old request REQU_3X0SE4NMKVSV8RHYUF24SL4UB not being deleted and causing the problem.
GO TO PSA tree of this infosource and delete the request.
Also DO you need any data already avilable in the ODS ?
If not required delete all psa data from psa tree.

Failing while initializing static data

hie all!
i'm making a jar file using build.xml configuration.

Now, in the main class, i m creating static icon as:
new ImageIcon(new Object().getClass().
getResource("/mypackage/icons/pid.gif"));
But i when i execute the jar : java -jar my.jar
it fails with NullPointerException at javax.swing.ImageIcon(Url) construtor.
The icons are inside the package.
How can i resolve getting URL object for the icons?
One more thing is that ... the jar files are inside this my.jar
Upon looking at few messages, i saw, we need to unjar the jar to use
the jar files inside it.
But, then how can i use my jar for webstart demonstration, which is the ultimate purpose.
Please give your valuable suggestions about the mentioned problems.

Assuming you have the following package structure.

Try

Just place the other jars in the same directory as your jar and they will be automatically downloaded.
Note you will need the other jars listed in your manifest class-path.

Note the jars must also be in your JNLP

Here I am wondering that I have installed and configure successfully in dev environment with the same DB privileges and folder permissions,as well same character set details and the same install files every thing is same as dev environment, but the same approach is failing in prod environment.
I am unable to figure out what exactly issue is,
Can any one please help me out in this regard.

Hi John,
We are using the different schemas(ESHSRVC for dev and ESHSRVC4 for prod)and different user ids as well in the db server( devdwdb.newcorp.com:1531:DEVDW)
where the DEVDW is the sid for both schemas.
Here the HSS tables created in ESHSRVC and working fine for dev.
but in the new installation and config with the ESHSRVC4 schema the config is failing and throwing the error msg..
I am sure the new installation is not pointing to the old HSS populated schema(ESHSRVC) and I have given the connection details of ESHSRVC4(new schema) while config the shared services for new one.
I cross checked the both schema's have the same privileges and character sets.
but in the new config with new schema is unable to create the registry and throwing error.
I have uninstalled and deleted the entire folder and created new schema's and started the new install and config still getting same error.

Log filling up with kadmind: no such file or directory while initializing

My log files are being spammed with
"kadmind; No such file or directory while initializing, aborting"
followed by edu.mit.kadmind exiting and respawning and then 4x:
"krb5kdc: cannot initialize realm My-FQDM.NET - see log file for details"
Not surprisingly, Kerberos logins do not work, for instance from iCal I get:
"Cannot contact any KDC for requested realm"
This is a brand new iMac with a brand new install of OS X Leopard, using "Standard" configuration. I'm a complete network admin newb and acknowledge that; I could really use some help getting Kerberos working, and failing that, getting it to stop respawning and spamming the error logs.

Hm, I definitely have a reverse PTR. But there's also definitely a problem with Kerberos. In the Directory, I click Edit for a user and get a GSSAPI Error (cannot find ticket for requested realm) followed by a "if you haven't dismissed the Kerberos authentication dialog by clicking 'Cancel', chances are there is a problem with Kerberos." Interestingly, there's never a dialog presented to me.
In case it's relevant, as mentioned, this is a new iMac. It will not boot from the OS X Server Install DVD - I have to start out with the client version of OS X and run the installer from the disc, and then reboot sans install DVD. If I try to boot from the DVD it restarts over and over again. Enterprise support said this is "normal" since the install DVD comes with 10.5.4 - it won't boot from a machine that came with 10.5.6 client.
Is it possible that something that the client version does with Kerberos (standalone machine?) doesn't get corrected in the Server install, preventing it from working? I'm postulizing this theory as I see in my error log shortly after boot:

FIM "failed while calling the BPC system"

Hi guys.
Hope there's an FIM wizard out there.
We have FIM installed on our BPC server (BPC 7.5 SP06 & FIM 7.5 SP08)
I am seeing an issue with the connection manager in FIM:
When I create a new connection, it seems to form correctly (resolves name/IP and gets the list of AppSets from the server)
However, when I log out and go back in to FIM and check the list of connections, I see an error:
"Error Loading Data Models"
The detail of this error is:
Failed while calling the 'Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC)' system to perform the 'GetApplicationSetList' action. : javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException:
org.apache.cxf.service.factory ServiceConstructionException: Failed to create service
This happens whether I connect using the server name, the FQDN or the IP Address and seems to be the very definition of inconsistency.
(Why should it see the list of AppSets when the connection is first made, but then fail afterward)
I am connecting using a secEnterprise login which is mapped to an alias of the BPC Sys Admin account (using LDAP).
Please help if you can, as this is driving me insane.

Would you suggest me that while initializing the database I'm having the following error:
Failed on retriewing task from server.
ALC-TTN-109-000:Could not establish a valid connect to server:[Unexpected end to file from server].
To resolve this proble what should I want to do?
Please help me on this.

The host can be identified a number of ways...
1) Right-click om My Computer > Properties > Computer Name > Change
2) At a Command prompt enter 'echo %COMPUTERNAME%'
3) At a Command prompt enter 'ipconfig' and get the IP address for the local area connection
4) If you have the TCP/IP loopback interface adapter installed, it is typically configured for IP 127.0.0.1. To validate, go to a Command prompt enter 'ping 127.0.0.1'.
5) host name resolution my be configured for 'localhost'. To validate, go to a Command prompt enter 'ping localhost'.
There are common port number used by each application server. For JBoss it is commonly port 8080.

InfoPackage fails while loading to 0PM_C05

Hi,
While loading the InfoPackage under datasource 0PM_PRM_PLCS_1, it fails to retrieve data with the below message:
"_Extraction of Cube 0PM_C05 requires customizing of table T_PMC05_"
The data flows from Datasource to DSO 0PM_DS07 and then to InfoCube 0PM_C05. But the data load is failing at initial level only.
Has anybody encountered this error and managed to resolve this ? Please reply and <removed_by_moderator>

I guess your data flow is like 0PM_PRM_PLCS_1(DS) --> 0PM_DS07(DSO) --> 0PM_C05(Cube)
1)First check the Data flow.
2)Goto RAS3(Extraction checker) in R/3 system and check whther you are able to see the records
3)If you are able to see the records in RSA3, then Check the Datasource , replicate it again and then activate it.
4)Now execute the Info package and check.
5)If you are not able to see the records in RSA3/ if you are gettign any short dumps while executing, then try to debug it.

It's the second time I have this kind of problem with a customer. The message is:
5.1.0 - Unknown address error 550-'Callback setup failed while verifying <[email protected]\n(result of an earlier callout reused).\nThe initial connection, or a HELO or MAIL FROM:<> command was\nrejected. Refusing MAIL FROM:<> does not help fight spam, disregards\nRFC requirements, and stops you from receiving standard bounce\nmessages. This host does not accept mail from domains whose servers\nrefuse bounces.\nUser Not Found!' (delivery attempts: 0)

Hi,
Yes this sounds a lot like you where using the bounce verification feature. The reply to address is changes, where bounces should get delivered to and which you would accept. However the other MTA is looking at the mail-from which is not accepted since it does not have a valid bounce tag.
You would need to configure in an Mail flow policy that is catching there sending IP address ( having the right sendergroup attached to it - I would create a new one with there IP address ) and that does not have the checkbox checked for bounce verification. (accept untagged bounces =Yes)

Data load failed while loading data from one DSO to another DSO..

Hi,
On SID generation data load failed while loading data from Source DSO to Target DSO.
Following are the error which is occuuring--
Value "External Ref # 2421-0625511EXP " (HEX 450078007400650072006E0061006C0020005200650066
Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT, InfoObject 0BBP
So, i'm not getting WHY in one DSO i.e Source it got successful but in another DSO i.e. Target its got failed??
While analyzing all i check that SIDs Generation upon Activation is ckecked in source DSO but not in Target DSO..so it is reason its got failed??

Hi,
I hope your data flow has been designed in such a way where the 1st DSO as a staging Device and all transformation rules and routine are maintained in between 1st to 2nd dso and sid generation upon activation maintained in 2nd DSO. By doing so you will be getting your data 1st DSO same as your source system data since you are not doing any transformation rules and routine etc.. which helps to avoid data load failure.
Please analyze the following
Have you loaded masterdata before transaction data ... if no please do it first
go to the property of first dso and check whether there maintained sid generation up on activation (it may not be maintained I guess)
Goto the property of 2nd Dso and check whether there maintained sid generation up on activation (It may be maintained I hope)
this may be the reason.
Also check whether there is any special char involvement in your transaction data (even lower case letter)

The MessageGateway instance (MessageGateway<HtmlEmail> MsgGateway) is null therby throwing a null pointer.
Instead of instanciating msgGateway as :
MessageGatewayService MsgService = getMessageGateWayService(sling);
MessageGateway<HtmlEmail> MsgGateway = MsgService.getGateway(HtmlEmail.class);
Inject your MessageGateway as:
@Reference
private MessageGateway<HtmlEmail> msgGateway;
and then call send on msgGateway as msgGateway.send(htmlEmail)
