Failing to update the apps

required to sign in to itunes and when i submitted the password the update button just keep loading and then it just stop there.

    I am getting error while i am updating the Apps Adapter, I have created an new data source and an new connection pool like below,
    1. created the Data Source with the following values.
    Data Source name : DevDataSource
    JNDI Name : jdbc/Dev/Apps
    2.Selected Apps Adapter -- Configuration -- Outbound connection pools --
    By default it has  --   eis/Apps/Apps -- jdbc/AppsDataSource +(property value)+
    i created            --  eis/Apps/Dev -- jdbc/Dev/Apps +(property value)+
    3.Updated the Adapter got the below error message,

    I'm having the same issue with my toplink mappings used by the database adapter-insert operation.
    The mapping for the ID, primary key field, exists in the mapping-file op toplink and the attribute exists as well in the java generated wrapper classes.
    I'm still getting the following exception:

The input xml record had an element [Dossiers/ID]. ; nested exception is: ORABPEL-11627 Mapping Not Found Exception. The mapping [ID] for descriptor [class bpel___localhost_default_CreateDossierAdoption_1_0__MD5_e6a42f53d5d0212f9c27acd74ba41e7a_.InsertNewDossier.Dossiers] could not be found. The input xml record had an element [Dossiers/ID]. Make sure that the input xml is valid relative to the xsd and that the mapping exists in the Mappings.xml. If an old version of the descriptor without this mapping has been loaded by the database adapter, you may need to bounce the app server. If the same descriptor is described in two separate Mappings.xml files, make sure both versions include this attribute/mapping.

  • HT201364 Mac App Store fail to update new apps and install new apps

    My current MacBook 13" 2011 Late is running Mavericks 10.9.4, and recently when I try to update /install apps from Mac App store errors comes up telling me  it failed to update/install apps with unknown errors.
    Tried following possible solutions after some search through forums and search engines, however, still with no luck of solving this issue, hope anyone with something that would make my Mac App store to work again.
    1. Change DNS (8.8.8.8).
    2. Reset Application & Clear Cookies in Debug mode.
    3. Remove cache.

    Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    Step 1
    The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
    Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
    While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
    Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
    After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
    *Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
    Step 2
    The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
    Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
    Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
    Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
    Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
    The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
    Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
    After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

    As it says, I got a Mac Book Pro from my company and I would like to update the apps on it.  They are registered to a former employee's Apple ID, is there anyway for me to change it to my Apple ID?  Or do all of the Apps need to be re-purchased?

    I used 2 iPhones and a iPad, 2 Apple ID for different countries so that I can download apps. from different country.  Its a pain and sometimes no possible to update the apps. on the ISO devices.  Apple really needs to fix this aspect.  Also the new iTunes is so difficult to use, please bring back the old one.

    When Itunes opens
    1) Click on drop dow list button top left under the player controls
    2) Select Apps
    3) At the bottom right there are two buttons, Check for updates and Get More Apps
    An Alternative is when iTunes opens in the top menu Click on View, Show Sidebar. Then you will see your apps page as in itunes 10. Click on that option and as before you should have two buttons, Check for updates and Get More Apps.
    NB this is all within Itunes NOT the iTunes Store

    You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
    Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store alert. For example, the App Store may prompt you to update "Angry Birds" or "Twitter," but the hacked app may be something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you must carry out a systematic search with Spotlight.
    1. Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:

    Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
    2. In the Finder, press command-F to open a search window, or select
    File ▹ Find
    from the menu bar. In the search window, select

    Other...
    A sheet will drop down. In that sheet, select

    4. The search window will now show all the App Store products that are installed. Compare those search results with the list of your purchases from the App Store. To see the complete list, you may need to unhide hidden purchases. If any apps were download from the App Store using other Apple ID accounts that you control, sign in to the store under each of those ID's and check the purchases.
    At least one of the apps in the Spotlight search results is not among your purchases in the App Store. Move each such item to the Trash, after quitting it if it's running. You may be prompted for your administrator password. Empty the Trash.
    Quit and relaunch the App Store. Test.
    If you find these instructions confusing, ask for an alternative method.

    Change your iTunes Store country
    Sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you'd like to use. Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region.
    Follow the onscreen process to change your region, agree to the terms and conditions for the region if necessary, and then change your billing information.

    Hold the power button and the home button down until the screen goes black and the apple logo appears. This will do a reset and you should be able to update your apps then.

    Reset the device, restart the device, try downloading any other app.
    All of these are basic steps that could have been found by a simple search of the forums as a resolution for the issue.

    Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if you can then update the app.
    If you do delete the app then you should be able to re-download your ibook purchases via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the app. But in case some of them are no longer available in the store and/or you have PDFs or epubs in it, then you could first connect it to your computer's iTunes and do File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11) which should copy them over to the Books part of your iTunes library so that you have your own copy of them and can sync them back (even though they aren't iTunes purchases it should also copy over any PDFs or epubs that you have in the iBooks app)

    Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself independently backed up against loss.  To use a device with a different setup you transfer the old library from a computer or a backup directly to the new setup, not the device to the library. Media syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

    It may just be a glitch. Try going into the app store signing out, then sign back in and see if it clears up.
