Fatal error due to / in the value

Hi XI Gurus
I have follwing scenario:
Mail ---> XI ---> R-3
In the few mails, i am receiving the <b></</b> as a part of node value.
For ex.
<Root>
<Child>4534DECEFFDA1911E1</font>
</Child>
</Root>
Please guide me to sort out this issue.
Regards
Piyush

Piyush,
One option is to ask the source system to replace this </ as <b></</b>. If the source system cannot do this , then another options is to use multiple mappings inside the Interface Mappings.
1. The first mapping will be a java mapping that will replace the </ with &lt;  and then send the source as the output.
2. The second mapping will be the actual graphical mapping and as it has been replaced by </ I dont think graphical mapping will cause any issues in this case.

    Hello,
    Could you try to use Network Monitor or WireShark to examine if the connections resets are coming from a client computer
    or from the host where SQL Server is installed?
    Network Monitor can be downloaded from the following link:
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=4865
    If you use Network Monitor trace you will identify connection resets by looking for “TCP: Flags=,,R.A” at the description column on the Frame Summary. Once you find the flag, the Source column will tell you the identity of the host resetting the connection,
    maybe is not the SQL Server host.
    Hope this helps.

  • Fatal Error has occured and the application is being terminated

    It seems that Captivate is eating my projects.  I've started my second project (after completing my first without any errors) and I'm constintly getting corrupted files.  It set me back at least a few hours worth of work.  So I started creating backup files every 10mins, regardless of how much work i've done.  Everything was going fine, until I took an hour break and went to resume my work.
    When I try to open my file I get the following pop up message when trying to open my file: "Adobe Captivate - A fatal error has occured and the application is being terminated. Adobe Captivate has tried to save all your work in the respective project folder as .cpbackup files.  Please restart Adobe Captivate."
    I can click on the program workspace and not click ok on the error message to keep the file open.  I see my slides and objects, but all the text is missing.
    I'm using Captivate 5.5 and windows 7 64.  Within Captivate, I'm using standard objects with importing MP3 audio files and some Photoshop images.  I have a total of 4 slides with 1 being 3.5mins long and the rest are less than 1min.
    When I first started having this problem, I thought maybe the variable files were corrupte so I deleted the Users/name/appdata/local/adobe/Captivate5.5 directory to see if that was the issue.  That was before this last stint of errors.
    I tried opening a backup that was like 10 saves ago, but it displays the same message.
    I'm not sure what to do next.

    Failed to back up the data. A fatal error has occured and the application is being terminated.

    We have the exact same problem.Renaming the backup file per this post http://forums.adobe.com/message/4055726 didn't work. I can open the file and see the text boxes even though they're now showing as empty. Is there any way to recover the file?
    Yes, we were using a network drive but now we've switched to locally stored content.

  • Error while executing SSIS package - Error: 4014, Severity:20, State: 11. A fatal error occurred while reading the input stream from the network. The session will be terminated (input error: 109, output error: 0)

    Hi,
    We are getting the following error when running our SSIS packages on Microsoft SQL Server 2012 R2 on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1:
    Error: 4014, Severity:20, State: 11.   A fatal error occurred while reading the input stream from the network. The session will be terminated (input error: 109, output error: 0)
    SQL Server Data Tools and SQL Server Database Engine reside on the same server.
    We tried the following:
    Disabling TCP Chimney Offload
    Installed Windows Server 2008 SP1
    Splitting our SSIS code into multiple steps so it is not all one large continuous operation
    The error occurs during a BulkDataLoad task.
    Other options we are investigating with the engineering team (out-sourced, so delayed responses):
    Firewall configurations (everything is local, so this should not make a difference)
    Disabling the anti-virus scanner
    Are there other things we can try?
    Any insight is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Hi HenryKwan,
    Based on the current information, the issue can be caused by many reasons. Please refer to the following tips:
    Install the latest hotfix based on your SQL Server version. Ps: there is no SQL Server 2012 R2 version.
    Change the MaxConcurrentExecutables property from -1 to another one based on the MAXDOP. For example, 8.
    Set "RetainSameConnection" Property to FALSE on the all the connection managers.
    Reference:
    https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/details/774370/ssis-packages-abort-with-unexpected-termination-message
    If the issue is still existed, as Jakub suggested, please provide us more information about this issue.
    Thanks,

  • A fatal error has occurred and the application is being terminated. Adobe Captivate has tried to save all your work in the respective project folders as ".cpbackup" files.   Please restart Adobe Captivate.

    I was trying to capture a simulation when a pop-up window came with this error:
    "A fatal error has occurred and the application is being terminated. Adobe Captivate has tried to save all your work in the respective project folders as ".cpbackup" files.Please restart Adobe Captivate."
    I tried every possible solution but i am getting the same error. Even now, i am not able to open a blank project. I cleared Preferences and Cache, Restarted the system, uninstalled and re-installed captivate but the error occurs.
    Please help.

    Having admin rights is not the same as 'Run Captivate as administrator'. For the last, right-click on the start icon for Captivate and check 'Run as administrator'. Or click on Advanced, where you can check the option to always run as administrator.
    Another possibility could be a corrupt font somewhere. I forgot to ask which version you are using (exact number).

    @Bhaskar (and @user11922800): You have to update the db10g/xdk to a version at least of 10.1.0.4. There were major bug fixes including XML-32009 error (bug number 3375952).
    http://www.eygle.com/case/bug10104.htm
    I've even tried the op's listing with my more to-date xdk without encountering any problem and it is compiled just fine.
    ps: I am sure that was the hasty typo in dvohra16 post. The namespace in the op (/2001/) is correct. Encoding is still capable of resulting in some problems (I've had encounted if I recall), but that is not the problem for the issue raised in this thread.

  • Error window while changing the value in SelectOneChoice.

    Hi I am facing a problem on change of values in SelectOneChoice, "ERROR For input string: "N"
    Below is how i am implementing SelectOneChoice:
    I am creating values for SelectOneChoice in a Java class:
    *SelectItem itemY=new SelectItem();*
    *itemY.setLabel("Yes");*
    *itemY.setValue("Y");*
    *confirmation.add(itemY);*
    *SelectItem itemN=new SelectItem();*
    *itemN.setLabel("No");*
    *itemN.setValue("N");*
    *confirmation.add(itemN);*
    Using this values in JSFF like this:
    *<af:selectOneChoice value="#{bindings.confURLSubmitted.inputValue}"*
    *label="Conference Website URL Submitted"*
    *required="#{bindings.confURLSubmitted.hints.mandatory}"*
    *shortDesc="#{bindings.confURLSubmitted.hints.tooltip}"*
    *binding="#{backingBeanScope.EditComplianceDetails.confURLSubmitted}"*
    *id="confURLSubmitted"*
    *unselectedLabel="Select One"*
    *autoSubmit="true"*
    *valueChangeListener="#{backingBeanScope.EditComplianceDetails.OnConfURLSubChange}">*
    *<f:selectItems value="#{pageFlowScope.generalLists.confirmation}"*
    *binding="#{backingBeanScope.EditComplianceDetails.si1}"*
    *id="si1"/>*
    *</af:selectOneChoice>*
    And in bean method i am trying to print the selected value in SelectOneChoice:
    *public void OnConfURLSubChange(ValueChangeEvent valueChangeEvent) {*
    *// Add event code here...*
    *System.out.println("this.confURLSubmitted.getValue() "+this.confURLSubmitted.getValue());*
    Now when i try to change the value in SelectOneChoice:
    I am getting an error window "ERROR For input string: "N"
    Any idea y i am getting this error.
    Thanks in Advance

    Remove selectOneChoice value binding and set static value and try
    *<af:selectOneChoice value="XXX"*
    label="Conference Website URL Submitted"
    required="#{bindings.confURLSubmitted.hints.mandatory}"
    shortDesc="#{bindings.confURLSubmitted.hints.tooltip}"
    binding="#{backingBeanScope.EditComplianceDetails.confURLSubmitted}"
    id="confURLSubmitted"
    unselectedLabel="Select One"
    autoSubmit="true"
    valueChangeListener="#{backingBeanScope.EditComplianceDetails.OnConfURLSubChange}">
    <f:selectItems value="#{pageFlowScope.generalLists.confirmation}"
    binding="#{backingBeanScope.EditComplianceDetails.si1}"
    id="si1"/>
    </af:selectOneChoice>

  • Error trying to change the value property of a cell with decimals

    This is a script question.
    I’m using a system defaulting to Spanish, so the decimal delimiter is the comma.
    During a script I need to change the property value of a cell multiplying it by -1. As an example, I want to change 1,25 into -1,25.
    This is how try to do it:
    tell application "Numbers" to tell document 1 to tell sheet 1 to tell table 1
    set selection range to first cell
    set mi_cell to (value of first cell of selection range) * -1
    set value of first cell of selection range to mi_cell
    end tell
    The expected result is wrong provided that the original value of the cell has decimal value. Otherwise is correct.
    See examples of what happen after running this piece of the script:
    1,25 becomes -125,00 instead of -1,25
    6,00 becomes -6,00 (in this case is correct)
    Does anybody know how to solve this problem?
    Thanks in advance.
    Ratz

    This was described here in several scripts.
    Before setting the value of a cell to a number or a date, the value must be coerced to a string.
    It's the only way available to take care of localization features.
    Your script must be
    tell application "Numbers" to tell document 1 to tell sheet 1 to tell table 1
    set selection range to first cell
    set mi_cell to (value of first cell of selection range) * -1
    set value of first cell of selection range to mi_cell as text
    end tell
    or better
    tell application "Numbers" to tell document 1 to tell sheet 1 to tell table 1
    set mi_cell to (value of first cell) * -1
    set value of first cell to mi_cell as text
    end tell
    CAUTION : don't code
    tell application "Numbers" to tell document 1 to tell sheet 1 to tell table 1
    set mi_cell to -(value of first cell)
    set value of first cell to mi_cell as text
    end tell
    which is supposed to do the same but would return the opposite of *_the integer value_* of the cell.

  • Compression error due to Key figure values

    Hi experts,
    When I am compressing the Info cube, the job is getting terminated. I think that the problem comes from a data issue.The field /BIC/ZX_COM_LC (key figure) contains huge values in both F table and E table. For exapmle the entry in F table is  23.592.684.640.809,00 (16 digit) and E table entry is 985.460.854.341.148,62 (17 digit)and while in the process of compressing they should be added and the value becomes 18 digit number which is greater than the capacity of that Key figure(CURR 17 decimal 2). This is why the compression job is terminated.
    Please through some light on this issue.
    1.If I change the key figure type from DEC to FLTP , what are the consequences?
    2.Do we have any oss notes to solve this issue in production?
    3.Is there any work around for this?
    Please provide your inputs to solve this issue.
    Thanks in advance,
    Edited by: SiNU reddy on Aug 19, 2010 3:35 PM

    Seems like you have too much of data still present in F fact table whcih needs to be compressed.
    Is this data is present in one request or with the multiple requests?
    If its with the multiple requests then you can do the compression job multiple times by splitting the number of requests in this case so that the data whcih you are trying to compress is limited in this case.
    So I propose you to compress few requests at one time and proceed further and check whether you have the same issue comes again or not?
    Do get back.. Hope this helps.
