The error indicates that an error occurred when trying to load the license server certificate. Please verify that "V2KeyParameters.KeyOptions.AsymmetricKeyOptions.Certificate" is set in flashaccess-refimpl-packager.properties. This property needs to specify the location of your license server certificate, relative to the "config.resourcesDirectory" directory. Alternatively, you can set the value in the Flash Access Manager Preferences tab. If you are still unable to identify the problem, try enabling DEBUG level logging.

I am trying to call a web service using apex_web_service.make_request function.
It works fine when all the parameters are correct. However, when something is wrong in the request XML, it throws an exception instead of returning the soap:fault message:

I need to get back the soap:fault and parse it to display a proper error message to the users (e.g. what was wrong with the input), yet the call throws an exception instead of returning it.
I am trying the exact same request from soapUI and it returns me the soap:fault below:

   I've just run into this.
   If the webservice returns a fault, such as:
<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><soap:Body><soap:Fault><faultcode>soap:Server</faultcode><faultstring>INVALID_REQUESTER_INFO</faultstring></soap:Fault></soap:Body></soap:Envelope>
   then the user gets presented with an unfriendly error message and there's no chance to output a more friendly one.
   The response above is seen when testing the webservice, when run from the Form/Report page, we get something like:
soap:ServerINVALID_REQUESTER_INFO
Contact your application administrator.
OK
   When OK button is clicked everything is rolled back and we don't even get the fault XML.
   It would be good if Apex could be optionally set to not give the unfriendly messages, so that we could code such a message ourselves.
   Unless anybody has a workaround for this, I guess that I'll have to see if I can code this in PLSQL.

Maybe the URL you are accessing is not available from that computer.

RMAN Restore Error - media recovery requesting unknown log: thread 1 seq 7

Im using RMAN to copy a database to another server. The new server is IDENTICAL to the old one. By identical I mean it has the same sever name, ip address, operating system, Oracle version and directory structure.
The new server already has the instance created, (same name as the old server instance, paths etc)
The backup files have been manually restored to the new server, same locations as they were on the old one. ( RMAN did an automatic controlfile backup and also the archivelogs on the old server ).
Ive restored the control file on the new server from the RMAN backup pieces.
Ive catalogued the RMAN backup pieces on the new server.
I know the last sequence available in the archivelogs backup by running on the new server :

So far its all going swimmingly well.
Now I want to restore the datafiles and recover. So I ran :
RMAN run { restore database; recover database; alter database open resetlogs; }
This gave me the output below which goes great but I get a final error, I think the error is because its looking for an archive log thats not in the backup set, but it should be. However, I think SCN 560851 is for a log that hadnt been created yet on the old server when the backup was ran ?
How do I address resolving the error ? Its worth pointing out log, "archive log filename=C:\ORACLE\PRODUCT\10.2.0\FLASH_RECOVERY_AREA\SAT\ARCHIVELOG
\2011_05_11\O1_MF_1_6_6WOK1X4W_.ARC recid=10 stamp=750881741" isnt on the old server either which is why its not in the backup set.
I can do a alter database open reset logs but Id prefer to know why its failing.
Any help would be much appreciated.

You need to do incomplete recovery i.e. to ask RMAN to restore/recover to some specific point in time. This is usually done with some UNTIL clause or SET UNTIL statement. Example in your case:

I have checked the logs. I am getting errors like the below:
1.     com.sap.engine.services.servlets_jsp.server.deploy.impl.exceptions.WCEApplicationNotStartedException: The application [sap.com/com.sap.portal.ivs.iviewservice] is configured to have ALWAYS start up mode. Currently it is in STOPPED status - because of this it will not be started implicitly by the Web Container service and any internal operation that needed this application to be running will fail. There are two possible reasons for STOPPED status: 1) The application failed to start during cluster startup. 2) The application is stopped by system administrator.
2.     .info.exception.WD4VCRuntimeException: FAILED: process plan id: generatedBindPlan_CWG_UI action: null
3.     Thread HTTP Worker [2] failed to acquire exclusive lock on client session
But the data is being processed by the code correctly. I tried printing the final values of the o/p and the values are as expected.

Hi,
As this is a SSL call, you need to configure the wallet. Basically if it is a One-way SSL (only webservice server gets authenticated), you need to follow the following steps.
1.) Extract the Public Certificate of the Target Web service from using the browser
2.) Import this certificate in the Oracle Wallet using Oracle Wallet Manager
3.) The schema user trying to invoke the service should have proper ACL permissions
4.) Test your connection from the R12 SQL directly using below SQL statement. If below is success you can wrap the service call in a package.

When we are trying to test webservices (exposed webservice in PI) scenarios in PI box we are getting error related Adapter framework service

Increase the value of the timeout parameter 'xiadapter.inbound.timeout.default' under Services -> 'XPI Adapter:XI'
to a higher value say '600000'.

HTTP request failed. Error code: "503". Service Unavailable in RWB and Cache Refresh

Dear Experts,,
We have MDM and PI in our landscape. We are using MDM Adapter for the integration between the two.
When we try to run the T Code SXMB_IFR, we are getting HTTP request failed error. i.e., “Error Code: 503 -- Service Unavailable”. And also the RWB communication channel is not working because of this error and we are unable to refresh the cache too because of this error.
We have checked from MDM side, and messages are flowing from ready folder but not coming into PI. We had monitored the messages using
SXMB_MONI.
We have restarted the Java Server but it’s taking too much time to restart around 12 to 15 hours & we checked after that but still facing the same issue.
Could you please help me to figure out this issue.

Because of J2EE application com.sap.aii.af.ms.app not active
The problem is that not all J2EE services can be started by the J2EE. i.e Start the Visual Administrator and select Server->Services->Deploy in the tree on the left. On the right-hand side, choose the Runtime tab page. You see a tree in the right window with all applications if you select the APPLICATION radio button. Check if they are running, otherwise choose Start. Usually the J2EE engine starts all services automatically.

Autoscaling Application block for Azure worker role console app not working. Get error as The HTTP request was forbidden with client authentication

I have written a console application to test the WASABi(AutoScaling Application Block) for my worker role running in azure. The worker role processes the messages in the queue and I want to scale-up based on the queue length. I have configured and set the
constraints and reactive rules properly. I get the following error when I run this application.

Base on error message, I guess your azure service didn't get your certificate and other instances didn't have certificate to auto scale. Please check your upload the certificate on your portal management. Also, you could refer to same thread via link(

I am trying to pull event data from blobs & tables storage using REST API built using python.
After running script, I am getting following error -
HTTP Request error: 403 Client Error: Forbidden
Could someone please advise me how to fix this.

In PI 7.0 system we are getting http error for rwb and exchage profile portal function

( http://hostname:50000/adapterframework/rtc)
If I do a connection test for ping(sap >bc >ping) from SICF, I am getting HTTP error.
Please help me out to resolve this problem.

Dear All,
I recieve an error message every timeI try to check the analytics for any of our apps: "Error retrieving report from Omniture server: HTTP request error".
A few weeks ago, an app totally empty statistics - everything zero - which I knew was not true. Today, I get the error, but there is some data on each page - but how do I know this data is correct?
Anyone that has experience with this? It has been like this the last couple of weeks, but has hoped it was a temporary error. Now, the clients want some statistics on their publications ...
