Fault message with 'Server error'
Hi all,
I have the following problem in PI.
The scenario is a synchronous interface, in which messages are send to PI using SOAP adapter. These are sent by proxy to ECC, and afterwards a reponse message is sent back.
So it's a SOAP-Proxy scenario with a synchronous interface and a request/response message.
I'm testing this interface using SOAPUI.
In PI the request and response messages are processed succesfully, however in SOAPUI I get the following error message (fault message), which is also shown in the communication channel logging.

The fault message contains the error: Server Error.
Does anyone have an idea what causes this?

The audit log doesn't show any errors. The java.lang.ClassCastException erro is shown in the processing details of the communication channel (column explanation)
The last step in the audit log is : "The message status is set to DLVD"
I think steps are missing after this, that sent the response message back to SOAPUI.
I also had a look in a similar interface I've build earlier, in which the additional last steps are:
SOAP: Response message leaving the adapter
SOAP: Processing completed
So for some reason the response message is not sent back from the adapter.
Could this issue be related to the test with SOAPUI and the version used?
The SOAPUI version is 5.0 and the PI version is 7.0

you got crash aka shortdump in your system.
- webserver: didn't crash, because it issued an error 500, so it works
- remains either the soap runtime, which usually doesn't dump but throw errors and the application itself.
I'd look into the tracefiles (ST11) or tie the debugger to the service in question (SICF) and try to find out hat happens/d.

I have no more calendar synchronization with iCloud. when accessing to icloud account I cannot add an event on icloud calendar the message is :"server error"; any help?
Tap the little claendar icon at the top left (next to the search icon) and see what calendars are set up in WeekCal. If none are enabled, then enable the one(s) you want to use.

I try to move emails into the trash and this message comes up;
The IMAP command “CHECK” failed for the mailbox “INBOX” with server error: Error in IMAP command received by server..
what should I do ?
My trash is empty and I re booted etc...Back up all data. Rebuild the mailbox. Try again to delete the message.

thanksSounds like the mail server thinks you are asking to delete the bulk-mail mailbox instead of some/all of the messages within it.
How are you trying to delete your bulk mail messages? That is, what are you doing, step by step, up to the error message.
What you should probably be doing is selecting the bulk mail mailbox, selecting one of more messages inside it, then hitting the "delete" key. -
Exchange- IMAP command "APPEND" (to inbox) failed with server error
Not sure, but think I was adding a mailbox to the Exchange Server's inbox, and now I am hammered with repetitive alerts;
"Some actions taken while the account “Exchange” was offline could not be completed online.
Mail has undone actions on some messages so that you can redo the actions while online. Mail has saved other messages in mailbox “INBOX” in “On My Mac” so that you can complete the actions while online.
Additional information: The IMAP command “APPEND” (to INBOX) failed with server error: An unexpected network error occurred.."
Any ideas on how to stop the messages/undo/cancel, or anything to have Mail.App work again?
thanks.This can happen anytime you give an IMAP command offline that the server is not able to fulfill once you go back online. Mail's less-than-helpful response is to keep retrying the command, without regard for the feedback from the server. And there's no way for you to revoke the command.
In my case, Mail kept recreating a draft email that I had deleted. I believe it had an attachment that was too large for the server to accept. So Mail kept creating copies of this draft, pushing my account over the usage limit. I closed Mail, accessed my account through a different app, deleted all those copies, and emptied the trash. When I returned to Mail, it went right back into its loop, creating more draft copies until my account was again over the limit.

If your son is 25 years old, get him his own AppleID and make him responsible for his own bills.

I can't log in to game centre but I can log into iTunes. I recently changed my password. I checked the troubleshooter and am getting the message regarding server error but how do I fix this? It doesn't specify this in that article. I don't have firewalls

Request 0 of type 38 failed with server error - but it worked anyway
I'm trying to modify the rights that a certain group has on a certain folder. When I modify the rights (in Assign Security in the CMC) and click OK, I get the error:
An error occurred at the server during security batch commit: Request 0 of type 38 failed with server error : You do not have sufficient rights to make the requested security changes
However, when I click cancel and View Security, I can see that the change actually worked. Why do I get this error? Is there some right that I need to be assigned in order to stop getting the error?
I'm logging in with a test ID that has the following rights on the folder:
Add objects to the folder
Copy objects to another folder
Delete instances
Delete objects
Edit objects
Reschedule instances
Schedule document to run
Schedule to destinations
Securely modify right inheritance settings
Securely modify rights users have to objects
View document instances
View objects
The test ID has the following rights on the group:
Add objects to the folder
Delete objects that the user owns
Edit objects that the user owns
View objects
We're using XI 3.1; I've gotten the error when testing this in both FP 1.6 and FP 2.3. Thanks for any help you can provide.I just realized that I need to correct what I said. The rights that the ID has to the group are as follows (more rights than I mentioned originally):
Add objects to the folder
Delete objects
Delete objects that the user owns
Edit objects
Edit objects that the user owns
Securely modify rights users have to objects

Hi,
You obviously have OS X 10.9.2 as the latest version arrives when you Upgrade.
What were you using before ?
If you were using an OS X prior to OS X 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion's second update) then check the Serial Number is present.
Use the Apple (Icon) Menu top left.
Select About this Mac.
Click twice on the OS X version.
It will show you the Build Number and then the Serial Number (if it is present)
If it is not you will need to visit and Apple Store or an Apple Authorised Service Provider to have it replaced.
