Feasability and approach? I want users to book "shared project calendar" open time slots with me to do a device upgrade.

Brought in for a limited short time / term project. I am seeking to minimize the amount of time spend making appointments with individual users who have been selected for a computer upgrade. 2 morning and two afternoon time slots are available
each day. How can I create a public calendar that I email in a link to a groups of users to select the one on one meeting time slot most convient for them to meet with me for the upgrade? Do I need to set myself up as a resource? Please advise or
suggest an appraoch. Thank you.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the specific intricacy of your situation (a hosted domain at Outlook.com), and so do not know if indeed that is causal to your issues. But perhaps a workaround will be useful? For example, if you indeed use your hosted domain for your email, but create a true Outlook.com account for the use of only Calendar and Contact synchronization, then that might work?

For your email account, you simply use the domain they are hosting, and for Contacts/Calendar, the true Outlook.com account that you create for that purpose.

There is no serial number for the CC version of LR.
You should uninstall the trial which is asking for a serial number – your catalog and images won’t be affected.
Then Quit the CC Desktop application, using Gear / Quit or right-click / Quit
Then restart the CC Desktop application.
Now you should have LR listed in the CC Desktop apps list with an Install button.

Is it possible to remove the window control buttons from a vi? I am writing a vi for a production environment and don't want users to be able to quit the application.

On a production line PC, the VI should never be stopped. My hope would be that a SysAdmin could bypass loading the VI during a reboot in order to work on the machine. I have tried deselecting everything but the run button, but when ever I do this on the top-level application, it ignores me. After clicking on OK, if I re-open the customize window appearance on the top-level application dialog, all of the defaults are checked again.

Had corrupted (?) files and Genius Bar wiped HD and reinstalled all software. Need my address book from Time Machine, but cannot allow whole time machine to get to my HD as the corrupted files are on it also.
They wiped HD 2 days ago and I came home and plugged in TM and immediately had corruption again, so had to return to Store for a 2nd erasure. Now can't locate my Address book on TM.

I have a 27" imac (intel) my hard drive failed and I installed a new one. This is my first time dealing with this so I am having trouble re-installing the OS. Install disc spits out and ? mark with folder appears what am I missing?

Like the title says. My 1 TB drive failed and unfortunately my computer isn't covered on the replacement program even though my hard drive is the one they are claiming to replace. So that is not a solution just to get that out of the way. So I replaced the hard drive. What I am having trouble with is re-installing my OS. I have 10.6. When I load it and restart it just spits it out and I get the question mark folder. What am I doing wrong is there a step I'm missing? I did do a back up to my Time Machine before the crash. Can I plug it into it and reload format? I'm new to this so any help would be appreciated.

Well, let's hope that nothing was jiggled out of place when you were installing the new hard drive. Your optical drive may just be out of alignment or the disc you have is "dirty." Get a lint-free cloth and some rubbing alcohol, then clean the disc as thoroughly as you can starting from the center and working outward in a concentric circlular motion. See if that helps. In particular clean the inner portion well.
If this does not help, then you have a problem. You have opened the computer yourself. That action voids all support from Apple. If you take the computer in for service the store may refuse to service the computer. This is not related to your now expired warranty.

Is there a business reason to stop booking? The order is already entered and if you want to stop booking, at that time, will they go back and book the orders later?
It hampers your business knowing the demand for your product. Back ordering is a good thing and not necessarily evil.
If you still want to do this you have to use inv_quantity_tree_pub.query_quantities to get the quantities. As Sandeep said, it is better you do this in Order header workflow by calling this and based on the result you can decide what you want.

Log in function locking users that introduce a wrong password many times

I need to create a log in function that validates the username and the password and blocking or locking users that introduce a wrong password many times in a specific period of time. The idea is when it happens, the user has to call the administrator of the system to be unlock.

If your are using custom authentication,

However, inorder to set the authentication_result column(therby identify failed attempts), you would have to call the APEX_UTIL.SET_AUTHENTICATION_RESULT function in your authentication function. Otherwise it would be null both for success and failure cases.
Try this, for finding failure count in last <failure check period>
select count(1)
from APEX_USER_ACCESS_LOG
where application = [APP_ID]
and   login_name = [username] --case sensitive
AND   authentication_result = [failure status]
and   SYSDATE - access_date <= [failure check period]For locking out you would have to flag some column in your custom table and show the user some message in the login page
If you want to use your own table, here's an approach
   Have a table for logging user's login status and time.
   In ur authentication function, you can write to this table everytime a login fails if its succesful u can remove previous 'failure' entries and create a 'success' entry.
   Use count the number of failures within that time period u want say 24 hrs (SELECT count(1) from <table name> where SYSDATE - <DATE column> LESS THAN 1 Day).
    If the count is more than ur required no: flag the users record as locked(have some column updated)
    In your login page, have some conditional region with some text which says the user's account is locked out(the condition can be locked column status of the user who tried to login, use the username page item for identifying the user)Hope it helps

I tried re starting my computer "MAC" also quit Firefox and opened it but the problem is still there.

Last time I updated Firefox, all of my bookmarks and saved pages were gone.
If you have unsaved open pages you may loose them on a Firefox upgrade but you should not normally loose your bookmarks, unless for instance you do a new install and take one of the options that deletes personal information.
I suggest as a precaution you back up your Firefox profile. This is something that is easier to do whilst Firefox is able to run; and it is good practice to do this periodically anyway; but it can still be done even when Firefox is not able to be run.

* put the backup files and folders somewhere safe, where they may be found easily, but outside the Firefox program or profile paths. (Your Windows 7 Desktop is a suitable location).

Is your phone still covered by warranty? If so, go to your nearest Apple store and depending on what happened, this may or may not be covered by warranty. If it is, then you can get a replacement exactly as the phone you already have.
If out of warranty, then there is nothing you can do and you'll have to pay.
