Fetching master item name and its description in oracle apps .

Hi all,
I have to fetch master item name,its description,ordered item name,its description for a sales order .
Do any one know the table names and link or Query.
Please help.

I assume ordered_item_description is same as item description (in 11i)
Yes - there could be a relationship between customer item and your inventory item.
You can set it up by going to Inventory > Items > Customer Items > Customer Item Cross References

Which table stores field names and their description?

When I go to se11; I can get information about a table; its field names and field description.
How can I access same information using an ABP Program? I have a third party tool which connects to SAP; it can pull data from any SAP Table or view. I do not know which table or view stores information displayed in SE11.

The field names and their description are strored in table DD03L and DD03T.
SAP DDIC dictionary informations are generally store in DD* tables. You can search this kinds of DD* tables in SE11 using F4 search help.

Peoplecode to get dropdownlist box value and its description

I have assigned a value and its description to dropdownlist box. when try to get the value and description in somewhere, i didn't get the description. i got only the value of the current row in a rowset. but i want to fetch the description which i assigned to the dropdownlist for the corresponding value. Is there any way to get the description?

Since it is not a XLAT bound to the field, you cannot use the field class properties.
What is the source of the dropdownlist?
If it comes from a database record, you could fetch the description from the database using the &Field.Value as input.
But this would cause a lot of database roundtrips.
You could store the value and description in a two dimensional component array variable and load this array with the values and descriptions at PostBuild Event.
This will only fires ones during the component build.
Suppose the values are "hardcoded", something like this

TSPAT - organizational unit: Sales Divisions (Text)
TVTA - Organizational Unit: Sales Area(s)

TDS sections will be assigned to tax codes, so you can link through tax codes whatever is assigned to a vendor.
Relation will be -- Vendor-- Taxcode--tDS section.

Get Target table name and its count

Hi Experts,
I have created a Procedure where I want to get the Target table name and its count of the previous Interface in a Package and insert these values into the Audit table.
I am able to get the number of Inserts in previous step using getPrevStepLog() API, but I also want the Target table name and its total count of the previous Interface. Is there any generic way or code to bring these Information without hardcoding the table name. Kindly help to sort this issue.Thanks!

Please follow the below steps to audit ur execution.
Please note i coded in such a way that u can use ur existing procedure to capture the table name no need to query ur repository as its not advisable to query the repository as Oracle may change the structure in future which i personally feel right.
I created a Audit table with the below structure.

OTN doesnt allow me to put + sign in front of any word ( its assume its a Italic) so please add + (plus) sign before and after TargetTable in the above script.
This way u can capture the table name, insert count in to ur audit table.
Please note u need to call this Procedure after the successful completion of the interface in a package and make sure u selected the right IKM which capture the table name as in Step 1.
I tested in my local and its working fine. Let me know if u find any difficulties in implementation.

I just fixed the same problem. Here's what to do.
Click on the finder, then scroll across to the GO on the top menu bar, but also hold down the option or alt key while you do this.
scroll down the go menu to library and highlight library.
the library folder will open
go to the keychains folder and open it
in the keychains folder, then click and drag the blue folder that has all the letters and numbers for a title like "A2CEEE274-....."
drag this folder to the desktop
now restart your machine
when the machine restarts, you should see the keychains folder still open with a new folder in it that looks just like the one you dragged out onto the desktop
throw the one on the desktop out in the trash
You just reset the keychain folder so the new mavericks update could recognize it correctly, by the way apple customer support mentioned the reason this was happening was due to the update, and this is the standard fix. The apple keychain access pw should be your apple id or logon password.

Using "@" in a password for a DB User is not supported at all (allthough it works).
I did so myself once and I think it was possible to get a connection utilize quotes,

Join between SO and AR tables in Oracle Apps 11.0.3

Hello,
I am new to Order Management. Can anyone please suggest join between SO Tables and Receivables tables in Oracle Apps version 11.0.3.
I am working on an Invoicing error during Autoinvoice Import Program and I am doing workaround on this issue. This error comes for specific SO only. The error causes all invoices for a org not be imported into AR. To find out a solution for the same we run Autoinvoice into batches by Sales Order using a process of elimination to determine the offending So transaction. From these offending SO then we determine the customer for these SO's. And then find out if there are any other accounts that have relationships with the offending customer and then turn off that relationship. Then rerun Autoinvoice for that SO. Most of the time SO will be imported successfully. Can anyone please suggest what must be the issue in Autoinvoice Program as I am new this.
