Few users getting reconciled after running trusted recon
Hi Experts,
i ran a trusted recon for a particular Active Directory search base and it reconciled only 6 out of some 50 odd users. I checked if the remaininig users are already present in OIM, which they are not. I checked all the parameters and they look fine. Please kindly guide me on some pressure points to check for errors.

Verify data of your users. Check reconciliation events, if they generated for all users. That would give you some idea. Click on re-evaluate button there to relink that specific user. Also make sure xlReconbatchsize system property is set to 500(by default). Also make sure (if this is cusomt code), bulk execute method of your schedule task is implemented properly.
If nothing is clear, put logs here.

Have you activated user trace.If yes then monitor that user ID.It wont be possible that only 1 particular user is getting locked (correct me if I am wrong).There can be a possibility that somebody is deliberately entering wrong password for his ID any other terminal.
If you have activated user trace then you can easily monitor that user ID and even the terminals from where his ID has been accessed.
PS: I might be wrong,so please update me with the latest.

Open Sales Order values not getting updated after run RVKRED77 & RVKRED88

In Production Server. We run the reports RVKRED77 & RVKRED88. Credit info structure and and Open Sales Order values not getting updated. In FD32, Status - Sales value it showing '0". At the time of creating Sales Order Dynamic Credit check not happening coz of Tables S066 not updating. Please provide me Solution.

I followed your suggestions and implemented in the Development and moved the changes in to Quality Server. I tested it thoroughly by creating New Customer and maintained Credit Limit. I come to know that Problem is in all Servers. I made 3 changes.
1. In Pricing Procedure Sub Total A it was not maintained against Net value. I placed it.
2. Removed Credit groups for Delivery Type.
3. In OVA8 i maintained Max. Doc Value :99,999,999.00 before it was with 1.00
I checked the OMO1 Settings it was Asynchronous. As SAP Notes Suggesting to use Synchronous but here it's a client setting. So, It's Can't possible to change. Changes will affect other Company Codes.
Tested both in DVP and QTY Dynamic Credit Check is working Perfectly and Status in FD33 Sales Value field getting update.
If i move these changes in to Production, Will i need to run the reports again or not? How it will affect on Old Cusomer Billing and Credit Limit data. For few of the Customers the Credit Limit data it was exceeded. Please provide me advice. The issue need to be Solved immediately.

No one here was looking over your shoulder, so no one can tell what happened, without you providing sufficient clues. I agree with you this is cumbersome, and doesn't comply with your custom to dump everything here, not doing any research yourself.

User gets disabled after 3 login failure
I just realized this problem. I don't want users to buzz a helpdesk because of failed login. Where and how can I turn it off?
Just wonder if Is it not possible, for example disable a user after 3 failed attempts, and enable it after 2 hours?Never mind. I found the solution.
Solution:
1. Log into the Admin interface.
2. Navigate to Configure
3. Navigate to Policies
4. Select "Default Lighthouse Account Policy "
5. Under the "Identity Manager Password Policy Options" label.
A. Find the "Password policy" and select from the drop down list the password policy that applies to your system. I chose "Windows 2000 Password Policy" because we are using ActiveDirectory pass through authentication.
B. In the text box labled "Maximum Number of Failed Login Attempts" enter an number. We entered 3.
C. Save the change. -
Error while running Trusted DB recon
Hi,
I am facing problem while running trusted recon for Database. It was working earlier.
Recently I was trying to enable the option to reuse the same user Id in OIM. I have done the steps mentioned in the metalink for the same.
Following are the steps :
1. setting XL.UserIDReuse=TRUE
2. DROP INDEX UDX_USR_LOGIN;
3. create unique index UDX_USR_LOGIN_UNQ ON USR (USR_LOGIN, ACT_KEY, DECODE(USR_STATUS,'Active',USR_STATUS,TO_CHAR(USR_KEY)));
After these steps when I tried reusing the id but it gave me contraintVoilaition message.
After this today when I ran the trusted recon I am getting the following error and recon is not working :

I would suggest you not to try to reuse the User IDs... In fact DELETING any user login in OIM is NOT Recommended. At max one should DISABLE it... Because once it is DELETED, it is DELETED for ever. It is irreversible process... So, go for Disable Trusted Recon but never do deletion...
The point is uniqueness of User Login is utilized throughout the product OIM... This constraint DEV_OIM.UDX_USR_LOGIN_UNQ might be used at many other places.
Even if somehow you may be able to work-around this particular issue, other issues having root in this constraint will again arise... -
Urgent: Please help: Trusted recon - Sun LDAP - timeout
Hi Experts,
I am doing trusted reconciliation with sun ldap using oim 11.1.1.5 bp4.
LDAP system has around 3 lakh users. so i am planned to do trusted recon in 5 or 6 intervals to get around 50K records each time.
i tested for 1000 users - no timeout is happening and all users are created perfectly using trusted recon
when i run for 25K users, i am getting timeout excception below,
1. It is searching and listing the users, (please chck time)

Above parameters are good for more than 25K users?

Alternatively You can rather break your chunks in 20000 records because you are able to fetch 22882 records successfully.... -
Active Directory Trusted Recon ends with NullPointerException
Hi,
I have installed OIM 11.1.2.2.0 and AD connector version: ActiveDirectory 11.1.1.6.0. when i run "Active Directory Group Lookup Recon", I can see the groups created in "Lookup.ActiveDirectory.Groups". But when I tried to do "Active Directory User Trusted Recon" OIM given below error. I attached ITResource and Scheduler configurations.

Once you get the error, please go to SM37, put user ID and appropriate dates and Execute
System will show all jobs submitted by the user id, check if there is any job which is cancelled, select the line and click on Job log,

Org Unit not defaulting in 0001 after running RHINTE 30
Dear SAP Gurus,
We are facing a problem where in Org Units in Infotype 0001 are not getting defaulted after running the RHINTE reports. We have done the integration between OM <--> PA, however after running the RHINTE reports the org unit is shown as 00000000, could anyone please throw some light on this?

Are you using the department flag functionality? (T77S0 switch PPABT PPABT)
I came across the same issue as you and i found that when department flags were checked for organisational units the Organisational Unit numbers were displayed correctly.
If any positions that report to Organisational units directly or hierarchically have no department flags ticked the Organisational unit number will be displayed as all zeros on the IT0001 record for employees assigned to these positions.

One fundamental question: When users gets ceated in IDM from trusted recon
I have a very basic question which I am not able to understand.
When user accounts gets created in IDM from trusted recon, then the trusted recon resource object is not displayed in resource profile page of the user account. If we want to see whether the user account was created through trusted source or by manually by admin, then where can we see that?
This information is stored anywhere in IDM DB which will distinguish user accounts created through trusted recon and those created manually in IDM?
Please let me know if you are not able to understand my question.

Kalpana.You may be able to use the USR_CREATEBY field in the database. For an admin created user this should contain the USR_KEY value of the admin who created the user. I think for a reconciliation created user it may contain the USR_KEY of the OIMINTERNAL user.

Roles Not Getting assigned during trusted reconn in OIM 11gR2
Hi Experts,
I have created a Role, Access policy for ACF2 and a rule for automatically provision Users whose Company Code = 200 (company code is a UDF)
The records are getting provisioned if I assign the role manually to the user and run Evaluate user Policies task. But if i reconcile the user from trusted resource, the users with company code are not getting even the role assigned to them.
Am i missing something. Please help me out!!I followed the exact same steps to create the rule,
Search your Role > Select Your Role > Detail will be opened > Members Tab > Right top Corner > Add Rule > Select your condition
I even tried with User Type = Consultant etc with some OOTB attributes but still no luck
Once the recon is complete and user is created in OIM, i don't see the role added to user. Now, if i open the role again and edit the rule and navigate to preview results tab I see the newly created user listed in preview, and if I click Save without any changes, user gets added to the role.
I think this could be due to our custom event handler as mentioned by NN, please let me know if you have any other clue to debug this issue.
