Field of a table is not getting populated correctly in xml file.

Hi Experts,
I have an issue.
I transfer a ABAP table as an XML messgae on to application server.
BUt the correct format is not comming on Server.
Eg: i have a filed in table as /abc/def this field is getting populated on xml messgae as -abc-def
How do i solve thi sproblem.

ALV Block list. Field name at user command not getting populated

I'm trying to use ALN block list. Field catalog is built using the REUSEALVMERGE FM.
I've put hot spot on some fields. When I'm trying to capture the data when user clicks on the hotspot field the structure that comes in the user_command subroutine is not getting populated with the fieldname. But it is getting populated with the tabname and value is also coming properly.

What could be the possible reason?

Initialization parameters not getting populated correctly during DBCA

This problem is observed on Oracle 10.2.0.1 Linux x86 and RedHat Enterprise Linux 4 ES Update 5.
I tried to use DBCA template file to create an Oracle database (see below for the template file content). The DB creation was successful, but the initialization parameters did not get populated into /oracle/u01/app/oracle/admin/ora10g/pfile/init.ora the way I would expect.

Right after DB creation using DBCA, I would expect to see the following initialization paramaters populated in /oracle/u01/app/oracle/admin/ora10g/pfile/init.ora file that match the values I specified in the template file, but it appears that some initialization parameters are either not populated or incorrectly populated.

Likely dbca currently uses the spfile to store the parameters, as you should do too.
Apart from that the pfile Oracle uses is located in $ORACLE_HOME/dbs/init<sid>.ora
It is possible this file is soft-linked to the file you mention.
If it isn't the file you mention is not being used at all.

Table PPFTTRIGG not getting populated

Hi,
I am in the process of solving an issue where some of service confirmations are locked. Some of the service confirmations are not getting sent from CRM to ECC system. If we run the program RSPPFPROCESS, it picks up the actions from table PPFTTRIGG and sends it. However all this works only if the table PPFTTRIGG gets populated with the actions. How does this table get populated? I have not found anything in the where used list of the table or in the BADIs.. Does the configuration in SPPFCADM have anything to do with it? Please help me.

You are trying to pass too many fields for the structure (wwt_fields) .
Look at the FM 'RFC_READ_TABLE' for 'RAISE DATA_BUFFER_EXCEEDED' you'll have an idea.

Newly added field in the data Source not getting populated

Hello All,
We have added few fields in the Data Source. The Data Source is based on the InfoSet. We have included the field in the Infoset and have updated the code to fetch the value for the newly added fields.
When we perform the test extraction for this Data Source in RSA3, the newly added fields are not getting populdated with the value. In the system generated query's selection list, the newly added fields are not selected.
Please let mw know how to get the newly added field selected in the system generated query of the infoset.

Hi,
As you said you have added the filed in Info Set. Have you included the same in data source? try if not.
If you are trying to create a query in source system to check the data. I guess in R/3 (ECC) then you have to include the new field in slection critera (ther is an option available on top menu).
I would suggest before creating any query go to RSO2 select the data source. Display the field structure and check if the filed is there or not. You maysee Infoset level data directly by data display from top menu. Try that optionas well to check.

Internal table my_items not getting populated in class CL_HANDLE_MANAGER_MM

i have a problem while using ME38 transaction.
ME38 calls exit EXIT_SAPMM06E_012
inside this exit we are calling macro mmpur_business_obj_id tekpo-id. in turn it goes to method search of class CL_HANDLE_MANAGER_MM where internal table my_items is not getting filled. due to that we are getting dump "Exception FAILURE".

User attributes not getting populated correctly on FIM

Hi All,
We have been facing an issue with the fimservice off late.
When a new account is created on FIM, we see that not all the values are populated on portal.
Looking at the logs, the Person object is getting populated and this is passed to the create method.
This issue does not occur every time and it used to work perfectly fine earlier. We have been noticing this problem off late and tht too only for a few set of users.
We recently had done a migration of 25k users. I am not sure if it is something related to the load on the DB.
Can you'll please help us out as we are running out of options!

I hope you know that it is highly not recommended to do any operations on DB directly?
Ok, you say that you create user programmatically on FIM. Is it via PowerShell or another way? If attrbiutes are blank in Request - it seems that they are not passed to FIMService correctly. Maybe some special characters in those fields in source?

I am using the following code to fill item data while creating order using BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI.

Order is getting created fine but it has only the last item. Previous line items are not getting added to the order. Do I need to pass any other parameters ot the item or scheduleline table?

Dynamic data not getting populated correctly

Hello Experts,
                        I have a button on click of which, i m dynamically generating drop downs,In the same view i hav another button
"CLOSE" on click of which i m navigating back to main view.
Now the problem is ,when i select the second row from table of my main view and again when i m back to this view. the drop
downs are getting populated which i genrated earlier.I don't want these dynamically generated drop downs to appears.
I am using the method "REMOVE_CHILD_NODE" of the interface "IF_WD_CONTEXT_NODE_INFO"
Any pointers rgding dis would be appreciated.

u r dynamically generating dropdowns in ur view say VIEW1.U must be generating ur UI dropdowns on click of the button under a trnsparent container with a particular DROP DOWN INDEX ID .
in ur onActionAdd method if u r generating drop downs with ID say DD101, DD102, DD103 and so on ...
thn in ur close button , u need to use the method REMOVE_CHILD_NODE and try to remove the dropdowns with same index .

This badi will create a new tab at item level in order to display the new fields.

Users details not getting populated in the portal tables..

We have implemented single sign on (SSO) and we do not create users in the portal as user/pwd come from OID.
Now becoz of this the portal tables are not getting populated.I require that all the users of the OID to be populated in the portal tables. How can I do it.I depserately require it.

You can use the function wwsec_api.activate_portal_user to create the shadow records in the portal repository.

now i have added an extra field TXT20 in the as last field of structure

TXT should come as 3rd coloumn in the output.
EXAMPLE:

I have changed the coloumn positions in the field catalog accordingly and I have not written or changed any select queries from earlier output.
now my problem is PERIOD field is not getting populated in the ALv,the data is visible in the IT_FINAL which I am passing to Reuse_alv_grid_display. the field catalog is also getting build properly.
so plz suggest some changes so that I can move ahead.

I don't know what's the reason and now I have no environment to test it, but you can try other way:
1. define your fieldcate one by one as the sequence of your output like
      GROUP         G/L ACCOUNT          TXT           Local currency         USD          Period
      In this situation, you needn't use component -- position of fieldcate structure. Pay attention to
      fieldname in upper case.
   2. If only doing step1 has no effect, then adjust your structure of internal table. Sequence your
       component of IT_FINAL as the output field like step1.
   If still no effect, please let me know.

OVS value not getting populated in field

Hi Experts,
Kindly suggest me a solution for the below given issue.
I have added three custom fileds to an already existing WD Coponent.
And also added OVS help as an input help method to these fields.
If I right click on the WD application and TEST, the application opens in browser and I am able to select the value from OVS list.
If I run the application by copying the URL and paste it in the browser, or clicking on Portal link, if we select the value from OVS list that value is not getting populated in the field.
Below is the logic I have written.

Hi Pradeep,
I don't think it really make any difference to the application run if we run from SE80 or run via application url.
Try to set the external break point in OVS PHASE3 for your user. Check if the break point is reached and data is set after selection from OVS.

Currency Field - KOMK-WAERK not getting populated

Dear All,
In my infoset, i am reading the value from KONV table. But when i generate the infoset, system prompts a Warning Message saying:
Currency Field KOMK-WAERK will not be filled. Affected currency amount fields: (& it gives out the list of fields).
In my data section when i put TABLES KOMK, then the message does not appear, but the currency field still does not get populated when i execute the query.
Any suggestions as to how i can make the currency field populate in my output?
Await inputs.
Anyone to help?

Is not KOMK a structure, you need to fill this structure. Try to map required fields as following :
CLEAR KOMK.
KOMK-MANDT = SY-MANDT.
KOMK-KALSM = VBDKR-KALSM.
KOMK-FKART = VBDKR-FKART.
KOMK-KAPPL = 'V'.
IF VBDKR-KAPPL NE SPACE.

SGTXT field is not getting populated in 315 document

While placing stock in storage location through MIGO (movement 315) with reference to movenet 313 document, TEXT (SGTXT) field which is entered in 313 document is not getting populated from referred document.

This is Standard SAP functionality.The Text does not get automatically populated from the referred document. You will have to use enhancement for the same. Use BADI - MB_MIGO_ITEM_BAdI
