File loops on play...how do I stop that?

I remember reading some way to have it so the player stops after it plays the file. Right now when I hook it up to rtp, it just loops and loops. How do I fix that so it only plays once?

huh? In 2.1.1e, there does not seem to be setPlaybackLoop method. I am using Processor which subclasses Player as I am hooking this up to rtp, not playing to a microphone and need the getDataOutput. Everything works fine except the file loops and loops and loops.....I thought I read somewhere but I can't find it I had to get some kind of Control thing and invoke methods on that if the control existed.
If you have the docs downloaded, this is the relative url of the Processor class I am looking at.... which shows the Player methods as well.....

I might add that all the files are aliases. There are 40 altogether and I am aware I could create 10 sub-folders so I only have 4 aliases in each subfolder which would mean I only have to rearrange 4 aliases each time but this is still not ideal. I have been using Macs since the 1980's and up to now files have always stayed where you put them unless you selected Arrange By in the Finder View Menu.

We have the same problem every time we send out an email with attachments.
BTW, the ATT prefix on every file has nothing to do with you ATT card. It's just the naming convention used by Mail.app for ATTachment.
Now, can someone tell us how to fix this problem?

This "original file cannot be found" thing happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

Thank you Pat..that was very kind of you to help. And yes-it does happen with every pdf. But you're right-if I just say yes one time..then I'm not prompted the next time I open that particular pdf-but it does make me confirm I want to write over the same name the file had already in order to save it.
I made all my pdf's with the Chrome save as pdf command..never had a error message in prior Acrobat when closing the file.

Apps are always associated with the AppleID that purchased them, you cannot use another AppleID with them,
So in order to update them you must use the credentials that were used to purchase them.
You can chnge the details (Name and Primary email) for an AppleID instead of creating a new one.

This is not something on your end. If they send an iMessage it will arrive as an iMessage, if the send an email it will arrive as an email.
THey are sepearate services that cannot be mixed up.
Tell them to send you an email, rather than an iMessage.
If they are using the messages App it will always arrive as a Message.

Connect phone to computer.
Select Restore.
Tell iTunes which of the available backup files to use, let iTunes restore it.
Also, try reading the User's Guide as it answers questions like this.
