File manager unable to write data on USB/mem card

After updated to Android 4.4, I am unable to write data on USB pendrive or on memory card( only inbuilt app - File commander can write data on memory card but not on USB pen drive).
With file commander, I can read SD card and Micro USB pen drive( which means I can copy data from SD card and Micro USB pen drive to phone memory).
But with File commander, I can write data on SD card( which means I can create folders and copy data to SD card) but not on Micro USB Pen drive.
If any body has solution to that write restriction on micro USB pen drive, please tell ????????
Upto Android 4.3 I can write on SD card and micro USB pen drive with any file manager app.
But with 4.4, I can write only on SD card with only In build file commander app, but not on micro USB pen drive.
Solved!

About 24 hours ago, one of my four management servers began generating this error every 10 minutes; we only upgraded to SCOM 2012 R2 a couple weeks ago, I have NOT installed UR1.  No new management packs or database changes have been made within the

Performance on the Data Warehouse database server seems fine; CPU, memory and disk I/O are good.
How can we identify where the problem is?

  • Solaris Volume Manager - Unable to write to root disk with RAID1

I setup my mirror, sub-mirror, and meta database to enable SVM to use raid1. When I change my vfstab to the meta locations I am able to boot, but are unable to write on the disk. Does anyone know why this might be happening that may cause my root disk to act like this? Thanks in advance!

Generally you set up the meta device with only one child initially so its not mirrored.
Then change to mount the meta device then add the mirror device.
You can't mirror while mounting one disk since writes arent going to both disks and the mirrror isnt consistent..

  • How to write data from 24 bit card DAQ card unscaled

    Hello
I have a PXI 4462 Data acquistion card to record data. It is 24 bit card. I have two questions about writing data from this card.
    1) When acquiring the analog signal the card changes the analog to digital and when writing it scales back to analog signal. I want to write the analog signal in the digital form. How can i do that.
    2) PXI 4462 is a 24 bit card, but there is either 16 bit or 32 bit when writing it. So if i write it in 32 bit a byte is not used. only 3 bytes will be used to write the data and one byte wont have any data in it. It takes space on the hard disk. Is there any way to save this one byte so that I will be able to write just 24 bit data without loosing that one byte which would save me plenty of space.
The sampling rate is usually 96Ks/sec.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Nitin

If you want to write 24 bits instead of 32, then you have to change the hi(x) to 8 bits instead of 16. The lo(x) will stay at 16 so the 8 plus 16 equals 24 bits. Simple arithmetic. You asked how to get rid of the upper 8 bits and if you leave it at 16, then you haven't gotten rid of anything.
Why do you think you have to write to separate files? I said do a write of the 16 bit and then a write of of the 8 bit component. It's just two Write File functions to the same file. You could also bundle them together and do a single write but I think there would be a little additional overhead with that.

  • Hp-mkuri can't find support-type; hp can't write data; I can't print

At work, I use an HP LaserJet 1320 over USB. This was working great - and with no particular fiddling needed to get it to work. However, I've started having some problems. I had some issues last Saturday but I thought it was a blip because it apparently randomly got over them and printed just fine. Today, however, I tried to print a 20 page PDF document using lp <filename> from the command line. The response of the printer was to repeatedly flash an orange warning light. The printer status just showed "Processing..." Three and a half hours later, the light was still going and the status was still "Processing...". Examining running processes, the lp process was running and so was pdftops. That is, hours later, it had still apparently not finished converting PDF to PS.
The log files under cups don't show anything terribly interesting except that page_log contains:

There are no errors reported at this time in the cups error log. The last entry is:
E [04/Apr/2012:15:14:08 +0100] Unable to bind socket for address [v1.::1]:631 - Cannot assign requested address.
There's a good chance that the system didn't have access to any printer at the time (except cups-pdf). I wasn't printing and I don't usually turn the printer on or connect it until I need it.

The last type of message fills a good many more lines. Some of the non-finding-device errors earlier are from me connecting and disconnecting the printer etc. I think. i.e. they are not why it isn't working.

I'm a bit confused by this. I don't usually use hp-systray (that I know of). That's the great thing about this printer - I just configured it all through the cups web interface with no need to use hp's printer setup tools or  to install any plugin - it didn't need one. But hp/hplip_ac.log says:
[11017]: info: :hp-systray is not running.
    error: hp-systray must be running.
    Run 'hp-systray &' in a terminal.

    And lpr.log:

Could anyone advise me? I tried searching the forums but although I can find posts on issues similar to other printing problems I've had, I can't find any which look quite like this.

I've figured out that this is happening only with certain pdf documents but I'm not sure why. (None contain pictures or diagrams or anything like that.)
Printing a different pdf today, the behaviour is still very strange, though. Basically, I printed a 120 page pdf. Initially, it printed a bit. As far as the computer was concerned, the job was successfully completed. The printer flashed its lights. I pressed a button and it completed the first 56 pages. I then sent 57-120 to the printer. Again, it printed 57-something and then, again, nothing. Job done as far as the computer was concerned. Flashing lights on the printer. In the end, it took 4 or 5 jobs to finish the document.
What's odd about this is that I usually have no problems at all with this printer and this isn't the first time I've sent it a large document.
It is almost as though the computer sends stuff too fast or something for the printer or sends more than the printer can cope with at once. So when it has finished that bit, it waits for the next bit but the computer thinks it has sent the lot and no more is sent. I don't know if that is possible but that's what it "looks" like!

  • I am looking for a File Manager

I'm looking for a file manager that will let me see what files I have on my BB itself and on the card.  I would also like to be able to move files from the BB memory to the card in some cases.  Does anyone know if there is such a utility available in the BB world?
Along with that, I am wondering if I can run applications from the card as well as the BB memory?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Bob

    Hi there!
Concerning file management, I find that using the USB tether method is the simplest as it lets you treat your Device and Media Card memory as USB drive letters in Windows:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Desktop-Software/HOWTO-use-your-blackberry-as-a-US...
There also is a native file manager app:
    Homescreen > Media > BBKey > Explore
I recall some posts here somewhere about add-ons...you might dig into AppWorld to see if there is anything you might like.
Concerning your second question about running apps from the Media Card -- no. BB's restrict apps to being installed into the protected and fixed AppMemory location. There are some tricky add-ons that will swap apps in and out of AppMemory when you are not using them, but to run, an app must be installed into AppMemory. There is no option.
    Hope that helps!

  • Sony Xperia Z2 maximum supported write/read speed for MicroSD Cards

I am looking to buy one microSD card for my Xperia Z2 Phone (6503). My question is:  how fast it can write data to an SD card. For what I know, these speeds depend of SD Card controller. If I will know approximative numbers I can acquire adequate microSD card. Right now I am trying to decide between: SanDisk SDSDQX-064G-U46A Extreme Plus 64 GB - 80 MB/s SanDisk SDSDQUA-128G-G46A Ultra 128 GB - 30MB/s Writing speeds for these microSD Cards are half of indicated reed sped numbers. I like 128 GB capacity of Ultra Card, but will not hesitate to buy faster 64 GB Extreme Plus Card.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

If you use 4K recording like features, you might need to get a high speed SD!(go for the Maximum speed you can)
So I think Extreme plus would be better in this case, but if your phone is everything for you (just like me) use the maximum capacity (Which has a better speed as well, otherwise useless) I use a class 10 128 GB!
As far a I know, I think even 30 MBP will be enough for a 4K video!
