The cube was compiling ok. I was using sql Server 2012 Standard.
I upgraded to Sql Server 2014 Standard.
Now when compiling the cube, without any changes, I get this error :
Internal error: An unexpected error occurred (file 'pcprocbinding.cpp', line 1028, function 'PCDBTableCollection::FindOptimizedColumn').
Errors in the OLAP storage engine: An error occurred while processing the 'Fact Inventaire Sem Past Year' partition of the 'Fait Inventaire Semaine' measure group for the 'Canac DM Ventes Produits Semaine' cube from the CanacDMVentesCondense database.

Assertion error are usually some corruption in SQL Server database. And non yielding scheduler seems like bug what is output of
select @@Version
Did you tried running dbcc checkdb on SQL Server 2005 database

Internal software error cpp, line 214 - creating subtitles failed / please help

Hello,
it a pretty toutgh expierience trying to create my first dvd with Adobe,
I have to hand it over this Friday, in some 12 hours,
and there is another issue I have to cope with:
1. I have the project ready, I check for errors and there are no.
2. My project has 2 two timelines (movie and soundtrack) and subtitles in 7 languages. All already transcoded.
3. I press build DVD.ISO and here comes the wonderful Adobe greeting: Internal software error. File Spec: cpp, line 214. I clik ok and the other window appears happilly informing me that creating subtitles failed. And creating of thesee subtitles was the only reason I started using Adobe Premiere Pro and Encore
Could you please help me, I am going slightly crazy with it. How can I resolve this issue. I tried to look at the forum, but did not find the solution. Neither @ google.

I did two timelines, since I wanted to give the possibility to listen to the music track, without watching the movie. No idea if this could be done in one timeline (I am just starting my Adobe adventure .
Coming to the point, I fixed it. Here is how:
1. While building DVD the message was: Internal software error. File Spec: cpp, line 214. and creating subtitles failed.
2. I tried to make really big spaces between subtitles, as well as change the fonts, the kerings, etc. - to no avail.
3. I deleted all the subtitle text (marking it with the mouse and pressing delete), but leaving all the subtitle tracks, since I did not want to link them all again to the subtitle menu buttons.
4. For each subtitle track I imported the subtitle text once again.
And it worked! So simple if one already knows how to do it.
Thanks for help anyway, you and others at this forum helped me a lot during the whole project (missing Encore library, baddriver.txt to mention the most critical issues).

I get the error message "Fatal internal error fpinit.cpp line 7398".
I use:
TestStand 2.0
LabView 7.1
Vision 7.1
uEye USb Camera
I've included into my TestStand programm some new steps that control the uEye USB Camera.
I use following steps (all steps written in LabView):
- Initialze Camera
- Wait
- Close Camera
- Wait
I have the settings "Load dynamically" in TestStand"
If I use also the setting "Unload after sequence executes" and start the sequence I get somtimes a LabView error after running the Step for the Camera initialization. LabView is sometimes immediatlly closed. This happen at leased after 10 turns/starts of the programm. If I use the loop functions "Loop on selected steps" it happen only sometimes at the first loop. The initialize Camera Step is every time pass, if TestStand try to run the next step I get a error.( Sometimes I get also the message ActiveX Server got lost)
I detected also that sometimes in this case a constant in a other vi is emty.
Normally I use the setting "Unload when sequence file is closed" then I have the problem only sometimes at the first turn.
If the initialize Camera step is succesfull I have no problem with further camera steps.

I'd suggest to replace all ctl. with new ones.
Perhaps one of them is corrupt.
You will find a documentation about preferred execution system
in the LabVIEW help. I also attached this files.

Error #3, "memory.cpp", line 865(V6.0) 876(V6.0.2)

I used a VI one day with no problems, and the next I got this message - "Error #3, "memory.cpp", line 865" I did not even close the VI or modify it an anyway.
I was first running Labview V6.0 and tried upgrading to V6.0.2 but the error continued (now on line 876). I also tried recompiling and backup copies of the VI and SubVIs, which did not work either. A suggested fix is to delete "dir.mnu", which likewise did nothing.
To me it looks like the problem rests in the Labview "Copy" command, which I use to copy a file to another directory, because when I delete it it works fine again.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

It seems that while copying your file, memory is filling up too quickly for LabVIEW to clean it up and it's crashing LabVIEW. View the memory usage in the Task Manager to confirm this.
LabVIEW Internal Errors (Failure in XXX.c / XXX.cpp at line YYY)
If the Copy function is not the cause of the error, about 95% of the time, the next step is to look for DLL nodes or CIN nodes. The likely culprit is that a string or array is being handed to the C code, which either overwrites memory, or leaves the array/string data structure to an inconsistent state leading LV to overwrite memory. Anyway, this is a very common cause.
If you eliminate that possib
ility, the remainder are usually some sort of corruption saved in the VI, but normally those will not even load.
To simplify it before submitting it to support, please try executing individual subVIs and see if the problem is limited to a particular VI or a smaller set of VIs.

It looks to me like you are constructing arrays to pass to LV using
malloc, instead of the labview.lib functions for creating or resizing LV
array handles.
You should refer to the manual on Calling External code for details on
the construction of an array.

Reset file name and line number in preprocessor

We are using Sun Studio 12u1 on Solaris x86 10u9.
For one of our large projects our make file copies many C++ source files into one large allsource.cpp file. This results in significantly faster compilation and better inter-procedural optimizations.
Unfortunately, when the compiler generates warning or error messages they refer to allsource.cpp. Also when it comes time to debug, dbx is looking for debugging information for the original source file instead of looking for allsource.o.
On Windows (MSVC), we use the #line directive to reset the line number and filename so that the error messages point to the correct line and number, and so that the debugger knows that the debugging information for myfile.cpp is actually in allsource.o.
Does the Sun compiler have anything similar to the #line directive?

To reset the preprocessor to the start of a new file:

Slide Show ERROR, Internal software\Vobulator\BlockPlanner\.cpp Line 217

I'm putting together a slide show DVD. There are a total of 7 slide shows containing 480 pictures. All pictures are jpg's about 1000X1600 pixels and 500KB-700KB each. I have 3 menus for navigation. Not all of the chapter menu buttons point to a "slide show", some of them point to a picture inside certain slide shows according to my client's requests. (example, slide show 1 contains 70 pictures. Chapter 1 points to "slide show 1" Chapter 2 points to "slide show 1 photo 50"). All slide shows are linked so that when the first slide show is over, it will automatically "end action" to the next slide show etc... All my settings are typical. NTSC 4:3 SD 720X480 progressive.
There are NO video files in my DVD at all. No timelines at all. No audio at all.
The Symptoms/problem that I'm getting is this, when I try to Preview my DVD and ALSO when I try to build my DVD, the build will go through and "build the slide shows" then after it does that, this will come up

HT3924 Target display mode connects but only displays desktop background, no files or command lines

I have connected my early 2014 MacBook to a late 2012 imac and connected them via Thunderbolt cable. Pressing Command F2 causes the screen on teh iMac to change to teh MacBook background screen, but does not display any desktop files or command lines. Any ideas how to fix this?

Some older Apple keyboards and keyboards not made by Apple may not allow Command-F2 to toggle display modes. You should use an aluminum wired or wireless Apple keyboard to toggle TDM on and off.

Im designing a DVD teaching project within Encore DVD 2.0.0.48678 from the Creative Suite 2 Production Premium software system. The project is very large and complex. As of now there are only 2 separate timelines. 1st time line has 50 chapters. 2nd time line is not finished but currently has 15 chapters. Because its a teaching DVD, there are also chapter play list created for each individual chapter. I also have a countless number of menus and links to sub menus and additional video links from the chapter play list. All of my links are set and operational with all functions in the individual menus working properly. This is an ongoing project for 3 months now, with perfect results prior to today. I have used the "preview from here" function with no problems to test the links and verify the menu structures with flawless results for the past 3 months. Today I was giving a demo of my progress, when I selected the "preview from here" I received this new error message, "internal software error: .\PGCStreamInfo.cpp. line 1413". I have checked and rechecked links, buttons, playlists, chapters, end actions, timelines, basically everything I could imagine and have even tried a computer restore point from 5 days back, at this time still have not resolved this issue.

Hi Kluu,
This error appears when checking the "Do not compress target file" option when building an application. The workaround is to not check that option in Application Builder.
While in the application builder, in the "Target" tab, in "Build Options", do NOT check the "Do not Compress Target File" option.
We are currently looking into this and will soon be fixing it up.

In an application where I do a recording from webcam to fms,
sometimes I obtain this error in core.XX.log:

when it happens the effect client side is that I try to play
a stream just recorded, and I see a stream of 0 seconds, with the
command: stream.play(nomefile, 0, -1, true);
often when I obtain this error the durantion of the stream
from the media server is very different form the real one recorded.
How could I resolve this situation or work around it?

I looked through this and it seems there is a problem in parsing /proc/meminfo.
Can you please see to it that the file has appropriate permissions and if that is Ok, it would help if you can do a 'cat /proc/meminfo' and post it here.
