File polling from backend application

Hi,
Have a requirement to poll a file from backend application. the file will have the proper naming convention in the listening channel screen (e.g: "toParty_doctype_docRev.xml")
But not able to identify the from party and to party and hence not able to identify the agreement.
Please advice..
Also would like to know if there is any specific separator format, which is underscore.. or can we use any separator.

For this use case, please follow the below,
1. Make sure to enable "Is Internal" flag for listening channel, this enables B2B treat the arriving message at this endpoint as Outbound message. This we call it as Listening Internal Channel that is intended to receive messages from Back end application.
2. Please configure the filename format as "%TO_PARTY%_%DOCTYPE_NAME%_%DOCTYPE_REVISION%.xml. Note: File and its format extension can be anything, here just given "xml" as an example.
3. B2B uses "_" as separator for the filename format. In future releases, post AS11 PS1 the separator can also be made as an configurable item.

I now receive this message when starting Photoshop CC: One or more files in the Adobe Applications Support folder, necessary for running Photoshop, are missing. Please run the Photoshop installer and re-install Photoshop. After looking through some older posts on this, it looks like there is a way to just replace the missing folder. I need help on what is the most current and best way to fix this problem. I am running an iMac with OS X 10.8.5. I did just uninstall CS4 from my machine this morning. I am not sure if this plays a roll.

You said there was an error (indicating missing files and that you need to reinstall), then you say it crashes. Well, which is it? And if there is a crash, what does the detailed crash report say?

Very Slow "File Open" from any application

One of my users has a ThinkPad t61 running Windows XP Professional and when ever using the "File Open" function from ANY application it takes for ever to move from folder to folder. This occurs regardless of whether it is a local file or a file on the network. And is independent of the application that is being used. Anyone have any ideas? We did a "clean" install of the notebook and that did not make any difference, it still took aver a minute and during this time the dialogue box would show the "Not Responding" message and then eventually you could access the file(s) you wre try to ge to.

I've seen a similar situation where it takes a long time to initialize the folder browser window when opening files. This was caused by a mapped network drive that couldn't be contacted. Unmapping the drive fixed the problem. This was in XP but Vista has more or less the same crappy networking browsing code.

Is there a software which can remove unused files leftover from removed applications?

Hi there guys, as the title says... Does anyone know of anything, or anyway that I can do this easily? I notice that I do have files left here and there from software which I have long since removed... Any easy way to remove these files..?

Uninstalling Software: The Basics
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash. Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space. If you want you can look for them in the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application. In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.
Some applications may install components in the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder. You can also check there to see if the application has created a folder. You can also delete the folder that's in the Applications Support folder. Again, they don't do anything but take up disk space once the application is trashed.
Some applications may install a startupitem or a Log In item. Startupitems are usually installed in the /Library/StartupItems/ folder and less often in the /Home/Library/StartupItems/ folder. Log In Items are set in the Accounts preferences. Open System Preferences, click on the Accounts icon, then click on the LogIn Items tab. Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to delete it from the list.
Some software use startup daemons or agents that are a new feature of the OS. Look for them in /Library/LaunchAgents/ and /Library/LaunchDaemons/ or in /Home/Library/LaunchAgents/.
If an application installs any other files the best way to track them down is to do a Finder search using the application name or the developer name as the search term. Unfortunately Spotlight will not look in certain folders by default. You can modify Spotlight's behavior or use a third-party search utility, EasyFind, instead.
Some applications install a receipt in the /Library/Receipts/ folder. Usually with the same name as the program or the developer. The item generally has a ".pkg" extension. Be sure you also delete this item as some programs use it to determine if it's already installed.

Can i open a flase file (swf)from java application

i tried to converte the flash file to exe type
and call
Runtime.getRuntime().exec(flashName.exe)
and it worked.
the broblem is that the exe file is big.
i want to open the swf file not the exe.
i tried to call
Runtime.getRuntime().exec(flashName.swf)
but exception was throwen.
does someone know how can i open the swf flash type?

I just thought of an idea. Assuming that the flash plugin is installed and that you're targeting Windows, why don't you use one of the Java-COM bridges available on the internet and integrate the flash player into your application?
I know of a few such bridges and I've provided links below to help you. Using these bridges means you won't have to rely on IE or opening a browser to view the file. The player is a seamless part of your application.

File transfer from backend to sharepoint server using WebDAV

Hi,
Currently we are in development process of our product and we have a component called Document Publisher which should publish(upload) the documents to the web folders in the sharepoint server using WebDAV from the backend.
I was able to find some classes in the backend like CL_HTTP_WEBDAV, CL_HTTP_WEBDAV_SKWF etc and these classes have some set of methods which i feel can be used for uploading the documents to another location from the backend. But i am not sure how to achieve this and i was not able to find much of the information about this online.
It would be really great if somebody can help me in this.

The 11.1.1.7 documentation for B2B indicates that the Instance Message Java API can be used for resubmitting message from a back-end application, as quoted from the documentation below.
Programmatically Accessing Instance Message Data
Instance Message Java API is a Java API provided in Oracle B2B to retrieve runtime data that is exchanged between Trading Partners.
Some Instance Message Java API use cases include:
Resubmitting from a back-end application
Checking the status for a particular order number
Payload introspection by a back-end application
Checking the remaining retries for the message
Checking the wire message of the payload
This seems to be very desirable feature provided to application developers. However, when I examined the API methods exposed by InstanceMessageUtil and InstanceMessage classes, I could not figure out how to achieve the "resubmitting" function using the API.
The command line tool does have a utility for resubmitting messages. But exactly what class and API methods should we use to implement the use case "

But we want to integrate this resubmit capability of B2B with another system, so that we can use that tool to activate resubmit. The InstanceMessageUtil does not expose any API method for resubmitting a message. I guess one could think of manipulating the Java class exposed through the command tool to achieve this purpose as well.
Do you or does anyone have any suggestion how we can programmatically use the command line tool Java class for resubmitting messages?

How to control File read Proxy Service when it is polling from folder?

Hello all,
In my current requirement we are receiving xml's through one folder(LOCAL) from source side.we are picking those xml's by proxy service PS1 as file transport for every 10 sec and configured that folder path.In PS1 message flow we put on routing action to one bussiness service,that business service sending those xml's to one MQ.
We already created this interface but the issue is source side they plan to change that folder and also they want to stop this service(folder to MQ) sometimes based on synarios.That folder will be delete or if exist proxy wont read messages from that folder.
But proxy is still looking for that folder in Test ENV on Unix system then it gives error beacuse of unix folder structure is different,proxy unable to create that folder in unix system.it is creating in windows.
Now we want to control that service when the folder is ready that time only proxy will activate otherwise not..i.e like if condition "if cndtion is satisfied PS1 starts the polling from that folder else condition should be work.
How can i control PS1 service?
Is there any chance to control by using another proxy?
Experts please guide me..

According to your description, my understanding is that you don’t want the yollow bar notification to display when you open Access documents.
This issue seems to be about the client application. Please compare the followings with the things that you did:
1.Open the documents
2.Click File->Options->Trust Center->Trust Center Settings
3.Click Protected View, unselect ‘Enable Protected View for originating from the Internet’
4.Click Message Bar, select ‘Never show information about blocked content’
5.Click Macro Settings, select ‘Disable all macros without notification’

Waiting data file from another application

Hi,
I would appreciate your help with the following problem:
I am executing an application from within my java application as a process and waiting until it finishes. I need the results file from that application to be read from within mine. The problem is that this application creates other processes that dump the results files long after its main process has informed my application about its successfull execution. The question is, how can I be sure that the particular result files are already written to the end and closed by those hidden for me processes.

If I understood well, you're saying that :
1) you have to wait for the results before proceeding with your application, and you do not have control over the writing processes so that you cannot use some kind of async notification (e.g JMS),
2) Even when your app is informed of the success of the operation, at that exact time you are not getting the result files you need to proceed. So being informed of success and being able to proceed happen at different times ?
In that case, the one solution that comes to mind is 'polling' :
When you're being informed of success, spawn a separate thread (to prevent app freezing) that continuously polls the result files in a while loop.Or, if you don't want to waste CPU cycles, make the thread sleep for a while and try again at regular intervals.
Less than perfect solution, but I don't see any other alternative ..
You'll then have to figure out what to do with your app while you're trying to get the results...

File from the Application server

I am working on a scenario where I need to get a file from the application server and for this I need to ask user to enter the location and that too at the selection screen and then I need to read this location using open data set and read data set in my program , once I am done with this I need to do some other validations. so can you please help me out how to achieve this.

Upload tab-delimited file from the application server to an internal table

Hello SAPients.
I'm using OPEN DATASET..., READ DATASET..., CLOSE DATASET to upload a file from the application server (SunOS). I'm working with SAP 4.6C. I'm trying to upload a tab-delimited file to an internal table but when I try load it the fields are not correctly separated, in fact, they are all misplaced and the table shows '#' where supposedly there was a tab.
I tried to SPLIT the line using as separator a variable with reference to CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES=>HORIZONTAL_TAB but for some reason that class doesn't exist in my system.
Do you know what I'm doing wrong? or Do you know a better method to upload a tab-delimited file into an internal table?

Java.util.logging: write to one log file from many application (classes)

I have a menuapp to launch many applications, all running in same JVM and i want to add logging information to them, using java.util.logging.
Intention is to redirect the logginginfo to a specific file within the menuapp. Then i want all logging from all applications written in same file. Finally, if needed (but i don't think it is), i will include code to write logging to specific file per app (class). The latter is probably not neccessary because there are tools to analyse the logging-files and allow to select filters on specific classes only.
The applications are in their own packages/jars and contain following logging-code:

Is it possible to write loginfo to same specific file?

You should open/close it somehow at every write from different processes.
But I personally prefer different file names to your forced merging, though.

How access my files/ folder from Quick Office and from other applications

I was a HTC user, and recently i decided to purchase the iphone 3Gs from Rogers and I end up with a frustration and helpless. First thing that I notice that there is no built-in application for editing the Excel & Word documents. Then I purchased quick office and realize that there is no way to copy over the documents to iphone. Way the quick office wants to upload the file is not workable because it offer to upload one by one.
Then I purchased another application WIFI FPT and i was very happy that now I can upload my folders very quickly and then I end up again with great frustration that quick office can’t see that folders that I upload with FTP.
I am very disappointed and frustrated, if apple want to make it really workable for business then they have to create a users area/space where users can copy their stuff quickly and all application can navigate in that area. So in this way we can access all of our data from any application.
I hope that some one will take it seriously and help me/us to work with this phone. I never spent a penny for HTC to work with my documents and after I purchased this dam thing I spend almost $40 for all different kind of application and I am still unable to use it for my daily work.

Research before the purchase would have helped. This has never been a feature of iphone. You have always needed an App in order to accomplish this.
