I want to filter by Dual Slider Value when i changed range of slider value then Column Chart value would be change in range of Slider Value .How it possible in Xcelsius2008 please help me and give me a suggestion step by step .

what do you need it to control? And does it have to be a Component?

Need help with dual slider

Hi everyone, I am a flash designer new to flex, i know that

Dual Slider/Range Slider

Is it possible with the slider component or maybe by doing it yourself? I need it because I want to be able to select a range of numbers (in this case, years) such as, between 1961 and 1978 this and this and bla bla bla happends.

I don't think it is possible to manipulate the slider component to make it have two handles using actionscript. I don't see any property that allows you to set that characteristic. But you could definitely make one of your own.
You could also take the slider and edit it to not have the slider track showing and then use two of them along some timescale line you draw yourself. The reason for removing the track is to not have the top one's track blocking the second's handle.

N95 dual slider not opening multimedia menu

I have an N95 1Gb ph, when I use the slider to open the multimedia keys the multimedia menu does not activate. I'm sure I have turned this off somewhere but I can't work out how to get it back. Any suggestions would be great

Are you sure it did effectively roll back the firmware version? Key in *#0000# to find out what version is in fact installed.
As others have pointed out, the media menu opening automatically when you slide the face downwards was removed in firmware v20 (and not a minute too soon IMO) so it looks like that's what you still have.

Add a "Released in last X# years" filter

Purpose: Single slide control to filter radio and playlists to play songs released in the last set number of years. Or, dual slider control to allow user to filter played songs to a specific range of years.
The idea is to allow the user to either hear just songs recently released (ie. last year or last 2 years) or, with a dual slider, allow them to filter a radio or playlist to hearing songs released during a set range such as perhaps when they were in high school, college, the year they were married, etc.
The default should be any release year so that users happy with how Spotify currently filters/shuffles/selects tracks to play are unaffected.
They could add a toggle checkbox so that your filter range is either remembered for next session or resets to the default when you close the app/logout.
I'm highly confident that release date is a datapoint in their database but, I'm betting against they track original release date for tracks that subsequently appear on live releases, greatest hits and other compilations. So while you could use my suggested feature to play songs that came out from 2001-2010, versions of Rush's "Tom Sawyer" as an example may get played even though it originally was on their Moving Pictures release in 1981 because it appeared on at least 3 live releases during that 10 year span. But, that would be a minor quibble that should really only bother the purists.
For me I would like this because there are times I want to focus on just newer releases of a specific genre. So if I pick a band like Stone Sour and use Spotify's radio feature, it would be nice to be able to tell it to play stuff that came out just this year or in either 2013 or 2014 so when Spotify matches up the band Theory of a Deadman for that radio, I hear just tracks from their new release "Savages" as opposed to simply what's most popular overall for the artist.

Slide Site Not Updateing in Other Users Views

I have created a slide site with 100's of slides. Everyslide has an "owner" assigned to it so people can filter for the slides they are responsible to update. When I view the site I can see all the "owners" in the filter
list that I have assigned and are supposed to be there, in the contributors views they can only see a few names, some of them which actually don't have slides in the deck.
After uploading slides, I used Edit in datasheet view to update the "owners".
Any thoughts?

I think I have figured out the real issue here. In just about every other viewer the table that the materialized view or snapshot dumps to is viewable through the list of tables. It does not seem to be doing that in Raptor. Why we are not seeing the m.views or snapshots is that we give the select grants to the table object. (oops?)
While I see the logic for separating them out, I think it would be a smart idea to be able to see the tables for the m.views and snapshots in the table list instead of filtering them out. I am sure we are not the only ones who does the grants in the method that we used.

Modify control behavior in sub-vi

I'm using a dual-slide control in several places to select a range of values. I've added behavior to the slider by forcing the value of the second slider to be greater than or equal to the first slider. I'm doing the limit calculations in a sub-vi by threading the control values through the vi. It all works fine but I've been trying to find a way to add the behavior in the Sub-VI without having to pass it back to the main. In other words, I want to add a control to a panel that has the appropriate behavior without adding the necessary code to the main diagram. I can imagine this being done by passing say a reference to the control to an appropriate sub-vi which then monitors the control and performs whatever limiting is necessary without having to wire it back to the calling VI.
There are other instances where you want to customize control behavior so I'd like to see a better way to handle this. I've tried working with contol references but to no avail.

Using a reference should be the answer. What was your problem with them?
Right click the terminal and select Create>>Reference, then right click the reference and select Create>>Control. Copy this control (the reference) to the subVI and have it as part of the connector pane. On the BD, wire its terminal into a property node. Since you created it from a specific control, it should give you all the properties of that control. Place the subVI on your BD and wire the reference from the original control into it and it should work. If it doesn't, I suggest you post the code.

Interactive Report - Column list of values

The column header list of values feature is great but I think it would benefit from some usability enhancements. Specifically,
1. Say I have a column which has 100s of distinct values. Clearly, I wouldn't want to enable the drop-down list of values (LOV) when I click on the column header. So I choose None for Column Filter List of Values. Yet, when I click on the column header, I get a [text field|http://screencast.com/t/M1SPYdAT] for filtering the (non-existent) values, which is a little misleading.
May I suggest that choosing None should make this text field not appear? As a workaround, I use a user-defined LOV value like select 'Use <img src="/i/ws/action_dropdown.gif"/> to filter' from dual to nudge the user to use the main report menu.
2. When I use the text field in the column heading LOV to narrow down list, Apex performs a "search as you type" query with a "contains" operator.
May I suggest that
a) this should be configurable (i.e. perform a "starts with" query or "contains" query)
b) the search term matched so far should be highlighted in the results
c) when I click on the column header, the text field should automatically get cursor focus so I can start typing without first having to click in the text field
3. When I do use the main report menu to filter a column, is there a way to disable certain operators from the [Operator dropdown list|http://screencast.com/t/3kUwiNEH] ?
For example, I have an indexed column so certain "index-friendly" operators (equality, starting with, less than, greater than, etc) are fine but I would want to disable operators which would not use the index (contains, not like, etc).
4. I have a User Defined List of Values query for a column and the query returns 80 rows. When I click on the column header, only 11 values are displayed in the dropdown. But when I use Filter from the main IR menu and select that column and click on the LOV, all 80 values are shown. The same query is used in both places so I am puzzled as to why they would return different results.
Is there a limitation on the column header LOV, some varchar2(4000) thing maybe?

Thank you for the feedback. For issue #1, we are aware of the bug. We should not display the text field if no LOV defined. Hopefully we have the fix by next APEX release. Issue #3 is a great suggestion. We will take a look to enhance that. I am unable to reproduce #4, could you please provide the test case in apex.oracle.com?

I have problems on some queries that have another wait event related to RAC.
"gc cs multi block request" is taking a lot of time on some queries. These queries run very fast at another databas that isn't a RAC database.
Example:

Which is better N82 or N95?

i want to buy a new phone which has a good camera and music player with ease of use and durability.
am confused between N82 and N95. can anyone pl advise which one to go for among these or any other model?

When it comes to music both models are pretty much equal. The N82's camera is slightly faster from opening the shutter to being able to shoot. The N82 excels in low light thanks to it's xenon flash that helps to produce more natural looking images. It's also faster all round and better at multi-tasking because it has double the ammount of SD RAM than the N95.
The N95 is better at video playback because it's screen is bigger and has the media controls on it's dual slider. It's also better for playing games thanks to it's bigger buttons.
So if the camera is the most important feature then the N82 is the better choice for you. But if watching video or playing games is more important the N95 is better.
You may also want to consider waiting a month or two for the new N85. It should be slightly faster than both of these models and has a stunning new type of screen. The camera is better than the N95's but not as good as the N82s. It has a bigger battery than both of them so will be able to play music for longer.

Displaying a selected range within bar chart

ok, it's a bit hard to explain, but -
I've got a chart that is bound to an dual-slider hSlider
control which controls the min and max values of each axis. The
problem I am having is that when the slider is set to display a
range that is lower than the value of a bar, it disappears. For
example, I have ten values at ten-point increments, from 0 to 100.
If I select to view 30 - 80 on the slider, 0, 10 and 20 disappear,
but so do 90 and 100. I want to make it so that If the bar is above
the highest value, you still see the body of the bar but not the
top of it. Sort of like you're zooming in to the chart and can only
see a section of the bars selected, but the top of the higher ones
is off screen at the top.
I think there's a function that lets you only view a section
of the chart, but I can't remember the name of it and the flex docs
are crappy and i can't find anything googling so that's why I'm
here.

Is there much difference between the N81 8GB and the N95 8GB?? Any Pros or Cons?!

So sum it up:
Designwise: N95s have dual slides, N81 has only one sided slide.
Look: N95s look more gorgeous, N95 8GB has strong build quality, N82 has it too but has cheap plastic feels.
Screen: both N95 and N95 8GB has reasonable size screen to enjoy more than N81s.
Music: N81 8GB has better music quality than N95 8GB.
Video: watching video is a pleasure on N95s.
GPS: N81 8GB lacks internal GPS module.
Battery: Both are more or less almost the same
RAM and Hardware: almost identical though N81 lacks 3D GFX accelerator.
If it was possible to edit a post forever I would do so time to time if I have missed something. If anyone finds more let us know.
But overally N95 8GB wins.

Two N85 issues

First issue:
It seems that a speck of something, not quite dust but just some little bit of crud has gotten itself stuck inside my screen. Is there a way to remove the screen cover so I can get it out? There are 4 tiny screws, 2 at either end of the dual slid. Will the cover just come off by unscrewing those, or is it more involved than that?
Second issue:
All the periods in the system font (such as file manager stating 3.1 GB free, or radio on 97.1 FM) appear as boxes. This seems to be the only symptom and it's only a minor annoyance, but is there any way to correct this?
