Filter set in reuse_alv_list_display

Hi ,
Plz anyone tell what will be the result of following code lines on output column if such filter is passed in function module
'Reuse_alv_list_display' . What is really going to filter out ? null values ?
ls_filter-fieldname = 'FPRCTR'.
ls_filter-optio = 'NE'.
ls_filter-sign0 = 'I'.
APPEND ls_filter TO gt_filter.

Can you sure given comparision value to filter option. May be filter is cant find data in your list.
Sample,

Router Filter Setting

I need help on router filter setting. I am using router model WRT160Nv3. I have a very specific set of filtering requirements (see below) to be implemented. I implemented all of them except the first one. It is not clear to me how I could implement that. I am including all the requirements because I think I run out of filtering policy (the router allows only 10 policies)
Filtering requirements:
1. Allow all machines access to internet from 3:00 to 4:00pm, and from 7:00 to 12:00 midnight (each policy can have only one time range)
2. Block 6 different sites 24 x 7 (each policy can block up to 4 sites)
3. Block 30 different keywords (each policy can block up to 4 keywords)
Couple questions:
1. What is the "combining" logic on multiple policies? Are they AND together or OR together? Do ALLOW and DENY use the same or different logic?
2. Each policy allows only one time range. Does it mean that I have to split requirement 1 into 2 policies, one for each range? If I use two policies,
    it seems the "combining" logic may be difficult?

I resolved my problem.
Make sure your router is also WRT160Nv3. My solution applies only to that model.
There were couple things that I did:
1. Reduced the number of keywords to be filtered so that they used up less policies.
2. All policies have the same logics:
    If the conditions meet, it will apply the actions. The conditions are: time range, site names, keywords, etc.
    The actions are allow or deny corresponding to the condition.
    For example, if one of the policy said site www.xyz.com would be blocked. If the site occurred, that policy would
    fire and block the site. That means the logic is OR among the policies.
3. You can use up all the conditions in the same policy. All the conditions are independent of each other.
    For example, each keyword is blocked independent of other keywords, regardless of the time range.
4. I set up one policy with time range = 24 hours for allow.
    Then set up another policy with time range = 4:00pm to 7:00pm for deny. That covered my time range requirements.
5. Then I set up other policies to cover sites and keywords. Since they were all independent to each other,
    as long as the condition occurred to any one of the policies, the policy would fire and perform the action.

Why Does Video Stretch When Changing Filter Setting During Encoding?

Hi,
I've exported my video as h.264 720x480. I've burned it to a dvd. Looks pretty good but the brightness is too much. I re-exported as h.264 except this time I lowered the brightness slightly with the filter setting. (don't want to really touch project settings). Brightness is fine now, but the video stretched vertically for some reason. I played the two .mov files on my mac and the stretching definitely occurred during export.
Any ideas what's happening here and what the solution is? I find this bizarre.

Most YouTube content requires Flash .. You're using Safari to view YouTube?
If so ...
Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
Not empty the Safari cache.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop from the menu bar. From the drop down menu click Empty Caches.
Quit and relaunch Safari then try a video.

BD64 'No filter set' not availible

Hello friends,
For each message type defined between a sender and a receiver, we can set set filters on specific fields of the message type so that IDocs be generated only when these specific values are matched. These filters are set by selecting the 'no filter set' text under message types in BD64. But for that IDoc 'LOISTD' is the 'no filter set' not included. Does anybody know how can i activate them?

Hi Raju,
You can check the tables parameter COMMUNICATION_IDOC_CONTROL to check if any communication IDocs are created. If this is empty and sy-subrc = 0, you can conclude that processing did not have any error, maybe the IDoc filter took effect and did not generate any master Idoc.
From the documentation of function module:
In the table parameter COMMUNICATION_IDOC_CONTROL the header records for the communication IDocs created are retturned. You can tell whether processing was successful from the field STATUS.

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.
If you are using NI-DAQmx, you can use a channel property node to retrieve the cutoff frequency of your input filter. Please see the attached screen shot for details.
In Traditional DAQ, use the AI Parameter.vi located under NI Measurements >> Data Acquisition >> Analog Input >> Advanced Analog Input >> AI Parameter. See the screenshot below for details.

CO27 user filter setting

hi all.
After we upgrade sap from 4.6 to 6.0. co27 user filter has many change. when execute co27 into picking screen in 4.6. user may set "user filter " and save it.
but sap 6.0 hasn't "user filter" set and save function.
it is only use "SE38" to change program " RCNBF0IM"
to set user filter .
please give any advise.

The previous experiments were performed with Oracle 10i. I just saw that in Oracle 11.1.0.7 there is this new feature: "USER_FILTER is now sensitive to FORMAT and CHARSET columns for better indexing performance.".
This seems to be exactly what I was looking for.

Updating filter setting in Hottinger HBM software CATMAN from inside LABVIEW

I know how to update CATMAN by itself. Does anybody have an idea how to change filter setting on the fly from inside Labview without having to stop my application and opening CATMAN doing the update then starting Labview back up.

Making filter setting changes propagate throughout my project?

I'm using FCPro 4.5. Say I want to apply a particular color correction setting to a bunch of clips in my project's timeline. What I've done is I've saved off an instance of the 3-way filter with the settings I like into my favorites folder, and I've dragged it onto all of the clips that I want to use that setting.
But now suppose that I want to change this "favorite" setting. Ideally, I'd like to change it once and have that change propagate to all the places where the filter is used. You might think you'd be able to alter the setting on the filter saved off in the Favorites folder, but the change doesn't seem to propagate out of there to all of the instances where it's used. Since that doesn't work, that means I have to go to all of clips where I applied my filter before, delete the 3-way filter, then apply my new, "reset" filter. This is obviously a lot of work.
Is there a better, easier way to do this?

Depending on how spread out all of these clips are it COULD be easy to fix. Assuming they are somewhat clumped together, Make whatever adjustments you want to make to your first clip. Then select that clip, Control Click and choose Copy.
Then select all of your other clips by clicking and dragging or however you like to do it. Then Control click on any of the selected clips and choose Remove Attributes. Select filters and hit OK. This is going to remove any and every filter you have on those clips.
The select all of those clips if they aren't still selected and Control Click again on any of them. This time choose Paste Attributes and select Filters. Hit OK and that will paste your filter onto all of the clips at once.
This won't help if you have other filters on those clips besides the one you are trying to add, and it could be pretty tedious if the clips are spread throughout your sequ.

Not displaying all "photos", locked on last filter setting.

Aperture 3 issues.
Having a major reorganization of my database.
When Viewing "Photos" (meaning all photos from database) and using filters, the viewer seems to have gotton stuck on the last set filter and it can't be changed. The filter has been cleared but no changes to displayed images.
Have closed app and reopened to no effect.
The whole keyword thing is acting strange.

SPAM filter setting for CRES secure e-mail

I am using Ironport strictly as an outgoing e-mail encryption engine. We use a different incoming spam filter (Barracuda). I would like to be able to go to the CRES site and send an encrypted message to our internal domain so users can establish their CRES credentials. However, the anti-spoofing rules on the Barracuda block the incoming mail because the domain it was from is our internal domain. I have whitelisted the mx-res.cisco.com address, 216.206.186.134, but I am still receiving block messages like below (I removed the actual e-mail address):
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject: Test 1
Sent: 10/15/2009 7:36 AM
The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

First of all, are there other IP addresses I should be whitelisting for Cisco RES outbound e-mail mail servers? What else do I need to do? I don't want to turn of the anti-spoofing, due to the spam we would receive.

Input variable takes value from current filter setting in navigation block

Hi
Is there is a way in SAP, maybe with customer exit, to fill a input variable for 0CALMONTH (which in the end will get a value like "06.2005") with the current value from the selected month in the filter settings of the time characteristic 0CALMONTH in the navigation block of a query?
I guess the filter values are transferred back to the OLAP engine so the server knows the filter values of course and theoretically might be able to fill a variable with it...?

Thanks for your suggestion Vikram. But if i change in the Info-object leve, i hope it will be reflected in all the Queries that are using this info-object. I want it for a particular query alone.
Also, in the Info-object level, for the option 'Query execution Filter value' the value is given as 'Value in Master Data Table' only. Still, it is User specific.

IDOC - Object filter setting

Dear all,
when i use object filter in IDoc deployment, i find a special part in BD64. Normally just some fields in a filter group but sometimes a special part called 'Dependent on class membership' in it. It seems like a table but i don't know any details. Please give me a guidance.

LR3 does not remember last filter setting

When accessing image folders in the Library module, LR3 does not remember the filter settings that were in used during the last visit. This was a great feature in 2.*. Is there any way to restore this desirable behavior?

Filter set to pass mail from legit domains?

The address (I have many) I use with professional and social networking sites has fallen into the spam space. Using Apple Mail 5.2 I'd like it to consider all mail *not* from certain domains to be considered spam.
In the filter Rules I see the qualifier "Sender is not in my Address Book" but these legit domains send many e-mails and are often slightly different. What is constant is the domain name (Facebook, Linkedin etc). Is there a way to tell Apple Mail that everything sent to a certain mailbox is Junk except mail for a handful of domains?

Try this rule:
"If [All] of the following conditions are met" - "From" - "Does Not Contain" - <the appropriate domain name> with one entry for each domain - "Move Message" to mailbox "Trash".
