Finally close PO

Hi All,
When I am trying to do a finally close a PO I am getting the following error:
Error: Line #1 Shipment #1 Distribution #1 Quantity received 10.681062 is not fully delivered .9000004
Error: Line #2 Shipment #1 Distribution #1 Quantity received 9.72013333 is not fully delivered .9300007
Error: Line #4 Shipment #1 Distribution #1 Quantity received 10.875412 is not fully delivered .9200002
Error: Line #5 Shipment #1 Distribution #1 Quantity received 12.5396663333333 is not fully delivered 0
Error: Line #6 Shipment #1 Distribution #1 Quantity received 6.1693 is not fully delivered .7431167

Please help me in closing the PO as a finally close.

Based on the error, the qty is received but not yet delivered. Do the deliver transaction for the remaining qty.

PO Final Close not releasing funds

In 11.5.9; if we final close a PO using standard "po_actions.close_po" procedure, the PO used to get Finally Closed and corresponding Funds get released.
However, the same does not work in 11.5.10.
I would be glad if anyone can help me in this regard. Please note that we are using encumbrance feature; hence it is a very critical issue.

Final close will close once for all, you cannot make any transaction. If it's closed then you can make the transactions.

Cannot finally close a PO line

Using version 12.1.3
Cannot finally close a PO line.
I get the following error message when I open an purchase order summary form --> select the PO line to close --> click on Tools -> Control -> finally close: "You cannot finally close this line because there are outstanding invoices and/or credit memos."
But, there are no invoices/credit memos against this PO line.
Any suggestions?

In Firefox Options / Privacy be sure "Remember download history" is checked. To see all of the options on that panel, "Firefox will" must be set to "Use custom settings for history".
To find your OS information, on your Windows desktop, right-click the My Computer icon, choose Properties, under System on that small window is info about your OS.

Unable to finally close blanket purchase agreement

Hello,
I am unable to final close the blanket agreement due to error: "Open releases exist against the purchase document." I checked and all the releases status are closed, the amount billed matched amount received. Does anyone know how to fix this? I researched on METALINK and it doesn't help much.

Batch final close purchase order

Hi friends,
I have around 1000 purchase orders which need to be final closed. is it possible to final close them all at once (by any script or by doing any change in setup or by any other way)? If so please tell me how can i do that.

Dear Amit,
Its quite illogical to demand a particular Batch of Product before procurement from Vendor. Normally the Batch field in the PO is to mention the colour of the product to be purchased from a Vendor. The colours of the product are basically maintained through MSC1N transaction with a material, storage loation, valuation type and a colour. Thats why you are able to see the drop down characteristics in the field provided in the PO.
This automatically gets populated from batch master, thereby it can be selected during the PO creation. This particualar data gets stored in the MCHA and MCHB table.
If you really want to maintain the vendor batch number, that is quite possible only during MIGO.

I have the requirement of Finally close the Number of PO shipments,
I know there is a API (PO_ACTIONS.CLOSE_PO API )can be used to Finally close the PO at header level.
Is there any sepecific API to finally close the PO shipments or how i can achive this?

2. When we cannot finally close ? ( if any open PO or GRN is available?)

1) Close is reversible. You can reopen a closed PO. Final close is not reversible.
2) You can finally close a PO anytime you want. However, it is not advisable to do that. You should Finally close when the PO is fully received, invoiced and paid and you are certain that no adjustments to those transactions are needed.

We make Approval Group based on item category for PR or PO approval. The question is , i want to get approval group based on item or its category. Just pass item id and get which approval group is going to approval this item.
i got po_control_rules table it just contains categories range in description form, but didn't get any proper help.

To prevent Safari opening your last closed pages again you can do one of three things.
1. Close the pages before closing Safari (eg. open homepage before closing Safari)
2. Hold Shift while opening Safari (this will start Safari from homepage)
3. Browse in 'Private Browsing'.

How do you Finally Close a P-Order that has..

..Approval Status of 'Rejected' and Closure Status of 'Closed'..?
When I go to Tools-Control it says I have 'No control actions for this document'. What can I do with these?
As I understand it, ALL Purchasing Orders & Requisitions MUST BE Finally Closed for any Project-related encumbrance to be released. Also, if they don’t (as in if they just ‘CLOSED’), they remain in the system appearing in some reports.

Firefox has become noticeably slower - particularly in closing - i haven't timed it but sometimes it seems to take at least a minute for it to finally close - any suggestions?

i also get a message sometimes that says something is going wrong with a script - i always choose to stop the script - i don't know if its related

My first reaction is it sounds like you're pocket dialing your passcode? In iOS 6, it used to be you could go Diagnostics & Usage Data under Settings and see if things were crashing on your phone due to bad memory, but don't know if that works in iOS 7.0.4 on the 4s, but that's the first thing I'd look for. (I think crash notifications return in iOS 7.1?)

The main problem I am having is just opening and completing my emails. The screen freezes and I can't do anything but minimize and close.

After I close the window/s the report error window pops up . Then the next one which tells me the report was sent. Then the options to go further and so I came here today and Now I have done what you said to do so far. I even updated Acrobat reader and Flash player. I have used Mozilla Firefox for years and never had any trouble like this. This is the way windows behaves on a regular basis and is why I changed to Linux for years. I got this computer a couple years ago and did not have any trouble. Recently I have this to deal with several times every day. I cannot close the window in upper right corner without bringing up more error windows. So I minimize and close at the bottom. It still takes way too long, but it finally closes.
