The main problem I am having is just opening and completing my emails. The screen freezes and I can't do anything but minimize and close.
After I close the window/s the report error window pops up . Then the next one which tells me the report was sent. Then the options to go further and so I came here today and Now I have done what you said to do so far. I even updated Acrobat reader and Flash player. I have used Mozilla Firefox for years and never had any trouble like this. This is the way windows behaves on a regular basis and is why I changed to Linux for years. I got this computer a couple years ago and did not have any trouble. Recently I have this to deal with several times every day. I cannot close the window in upper right corner without bringing up more error windows. So I minimize and close at the bottom. It still takes way too long, but it finally closes. - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

I set up my emails so when they arrive on my computer, they would also arrive on my Ipad. The problem I'm having is there are times when an email arrives on my Ipad but not on my computer. Unless I open the email on my Ipad, it will not open on my computer. How can I have the two divices work in unison where the emails arrive on both at the same time?
Both libraries would need to have been setup to use home sharing with the same Apple ID in order for that to work.

I am having the same problem I think. With mobileme you simply copy documents to the idisk folder and then synch. I cannot seem to sink that folder anymore. Any idea as to how I can simply copy folders to icloud and then access the MS Word and PDF files on my iphone?

Your iDisk is still accessible after moving to iCloud in exactly the same way as before. Nothing is deleted until June 30th 2012.

No, you couldn't. Firstly, nothing was deleted from your iDisk. Secondly, any files stored on your iDisk should never be your only copy. Even if your iDisk spontaneously combusted, you should keep local backups elsewhere.

Yes. Apple doesn't provide such a service anymore, nor are you paying them for it.
Apple has made no effort to suggest remedies for the problem it has given iDisk users
They've provided instructions on how to download your files from your iDisk. What you do with them after that is your choice. -
Hello, I just purchase Adobe Premier elements 12. I installed it but the only problem is when I try to open "new project" it tells me I have to put my password in and username for the first seven days of installation, but when I do that the project never opens, it just has the loading bar loading and then it stops, so I have no idea wat the problem is, please help

1. Latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with Premiere Elements?
2. Running program from User Account with Administrative Privileges as well as from Run As Administrator applied to the desktop icon
with right click of the icon, followed by selecting Run As Administrator?
3. Does problem exist with and without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
4. Even though the Premiere Elements 12 Editor will not open, can you open the Elements Organizer 12?
If Yes to all of the above, please review the following for a possible solution...

When I'm using Safari, ocasionally the menu bar just disappears. I'm running the latest version of Lion and the latest version of Safari. This is not a full screen app problem. I have multiple windows open. This happens all the time! Firefox is fine! What the ****? Please help!
Right, like I'm trying to say, THERE IS NO SAFARI MENU bar. Example: I have multiple applications open, I click on a Photoshop window, the correct menu or title bar or whatever changes. Every other application window I click on brings up the correct "whatever" bar. If I click on the desktop, the "Finder Bar" shows up.
Everythiing else, BUT SAFARI, works the same way since OS X came out. This is ridiculous.
I'm getting the vibe that Apple is trying to get rid of the finder.... this is the way wrong direction. -

Ok one day out of the blue my ipod just stopped working it wouldnt turn on nothing but after recovering it, it's fine now but there is only one problem my screen wont work i can't do anything on it not even unlock it please someone help!!!!
Try the following:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.

I recently downloaded 2 movies in iTunes on my windows PC and movies will not play, they will open up to the main menu, mouse overs work as well as extra features. However the main movies will not let you play. On mouse over in itunes the 'play' buttion is not enabled, yet is however enabled on previously downloaded movies.
For me I have follow several of the help articles. When I play the movie in iTunes the screen is black with no audio, the timer status says it is playing (although it does not work all the time). I am able to play and have audio on the extras. I tried to use just QuickTime to play the movie and that as well does not work. I have started iTunes in safe mode and when the movie would begin to play, iTunes crashes and I have to restart. I have tried fresh clean installs of iTunes as well as QuickTime with no luck.
It looks to be a QuickTime problem however I cant verify that. Any help would be great. -

Every time Firefox openedI believe this to be a browser issue, not a google search results issue, and here is why:
having updated Firefox only yesterday, I visited google images searching for pancakes.... interestingly, I have the NEW image results (yuck) on Firefox 3.6.8, I have the OLD image results on IE8 and Opera 10.53.
When I use the 'switch to basic version' in Firefox 3.6.8, indeed it DOES revert to the new format next time I image search (in Firefox).
For those of us who prefer the OLD image results page, I guess we will just have to switch browsers for google image search.
Now I'm off to research how to get rid of the UGLY FFox sidebar. -
Having issues when try to burn a disc., which I never had an issue doing. Yesterday when I tried to burn a playlist it says "checking media" but just sits there. I know drive is working because I can put in a purchased cd and can import it into my library, but now it just sits there and hums until I maually eject the disc.Before all this started it said something about that I should "calibrate disc", since then it won't let me do any burning. I can't find any options in " preferences to change anything except the burn speed. Any suggestions? Tried rebooting, tried using my wifes iTunes on same comptuer.

This is an annoying problem for many people. Most likely your dock connector (on the bottom where you plug in your phone) is dirty or screwed up and is probably just coincidence that it happened after you updated. Some people have had success cleaning the port with a dry clean tooth brush. There is a long discussion going on at the thread I linked below. Good luck...

I have a main program where I call a sub-vi. In this sub-vi, there is a while loop that is used to wait for commands in the sub-vi. While the while loop is running, I cannot continue with normal operation of the main program. I would like get the sub-vi to run independently once it has been called, but not hold up the main program. As well, I need to still be able to send data to the sub-vi
One way is to use VI Server, which has been mentioned by others. This will allow you to start another VI (by name) and run it entirely independently of the calling VI. This is a good way to start various independent VIs from a main menu, for example. None of the VIs thus called need have any connection to the others.
Another way it to have the SubVI in a separate while loop on the calling VI's BD. Then, use a local var to start this sub VI from the main loop. The calling VI sets a local START bit and continues running. The sub VI's while loop watches for this START bit to go true, and then runs the Sub VI. The advantage here is that one can more easily pass arguments to the SubVI when it is started, using local vars, which are preferable to globals. Once the Su
bVI is running, however, you must use a global Stop Bit, set in the calling VI, to stop it when the calling VI exits, or the calling VI will hang up, waiting for the Sub VI to close and exit its while loop.
If you need an example of this, email me. ([email protected]). I can also recommend Gary W. Johnson's excellent book which discusses this. ("LabVIEW Graphical Programming", 2nd Ed).
Note: Where possible, I try to call a subvi from within the main VI, wait till it is done, then continue. It avoids the use of locals & globals, and results in cleaner code, with fewer "race" conditions. However, the main VI stops until the subVI is done, hence one should make the subVI modal. -
My screen freezes after a few seconds on my iphone 5c and the display fades slightly so you can see faint lines in the background. I'm not sure whether this is easily fixable or a major problem. Have reset the device, but this has worked. Any ideas?

In answer to your question, have you tried using
Disk Utility?
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc that came with your computer, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
6. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk.
Then, if you can, reboot to your internal drive and repair permissions.
