Is there a way to find out if a thesaurus file is loaded in database or not ? also to find the name of the file if we don't know the name.
Also when using the following command :
ctxload -user <username/password> -thes -name <thesaurus name> -thescase
<y/n> -file <file name>
what is the difference between -name <theasurus name> and -file <file name>

(LDOM) The file just loaded does not appear to be executable.

Sorry if this is not the right forum - it seems to be the closest one for things about LDOMs; plese let me know if I should post somewhere else.
I have installed LDoms_Manager-1_2.zip on a T5220 Server; following the book ("Logical Domains 1.2 Administration Guide") I set up the control domain etc, then a guest domain (cranachan) - so far all appears well. I downloaded the dvd iso of Solaris 10 (sol-10-u7-ga-sparc-dvd.iso) and added it to the guest as described, started the domain and issued "boot vdisk_iso:f -v" - this seemed to work well, but there was an error that turned out to be that I had given the wrong path for the system disk.
So I started over - removed the guest domain and the disk definitions for both guest and control domain, and removed the guest; then recreated everything. This time, when I "boot vdisk_iso:f -v" I get:
The file just loaded does not appear to be executable.
Any idea what may have happened? It makes no sense to me; not unless the iso file has been corrupted, but it doesn't seem to have been modified, and I can mount it as a loop-back fs in linux.

I have the same problem with a Netra T1 system. Solaris 10 installed fine and it won't boot. It did have Solaris 8 on the system, but I put in new drives to start my Solaris 10 install.
I tried booting to single user cd-rom (ok boot cdrom -s) and ran this:
# installboot /usr/platform/SUNW,UltraAX-i2/lib/fs/ufs/bookblk /dev/rdsk/c1t0d0s1
(SUNW,UltraAX-i2 was derived from # uname -i)
It didn't help.
I also tried "setenv diag-switch? false" at the okay prompt. It didn't help
Any thoughts?

I have some problems with a Sun Fire T2000. Solaris 10 was installed one year ago. The server went down and now I am trying to connect to recover the dates and make a new installation.
Booting the server, I don't get any message. If I type #. I reach to sc> mode and from there I can get to ok prompt. From either mode, I can't get in the operating system.
From the ok prompt I issued "show-disks" and I booted with the cdrom choosing the option from the output of "show-disks". I got the "The file just loaded does not appear to be executable."
I searched the error and then I booted with "boot cdrom -s" and I got the "ERROR: /virtual-devices@100/console@1: Last Trap: Division by Zero".
Please advice for a new installation.

I understood that this server runs on different levels, like with firmware OpenBoot (ok prompt) or System Controll (sc>).
I understood the different setups can be made from ok prompt, like the problem I have now.
I am at the ok prompt. The "printenv" showed me that I was booting from net1, which is wrong because the installation just ended. So I changed to "disk" following your indications. I checked with printenv and indeed the boot sequence was changed to boot disk.
I issued the boot command I after the message "Boot device: disk File and args:" it looks like hanging. I am sure I can get back to sc> prompt but it looks like a loop to me: how do I get into the operating system? I looks I can switch only from ok to sc and backwards. But, after booting I'd like to enter in Solaris OS, not OpenBoot firmware or System Control...

External file is loaded or not

I have one text file which i am loading externally from my local machine. I am trying to read some variables from this file.
my problem: if the text file somehow fails to load in flash then it should load variables from HTML file from which my swf is running. But i am not able to check if this text file is loaded or not.

You are listening for only COMPLETE event. You should also listen for error event to get notified.
As per your code 'loading' method will be called only if file is present and loaded successfully.
add this to your code:

I use Photoshop cc and downloaded Tutorial Builder from Adobe Labs.
Managed to unzip it ok. Now I am stuck as there are .jsx files and script files but no instructions.

ITunes cannot find my music files and I do not have the the files on my computer

My sister got a new computer and put music files from old iTunes onto external hard drive and then put it directly into iTunes library on new computer. The music from old computer and hard drive got deleted. She synced her iPod with iTunes. Come to find out after the sync she only had 20 songs on her iPod because iTunes cond not find the original files for the 1200 other songs. Now she only has the 20 songs on her iPod and the other 1200 in iTunes won't play and have the exclamation mark next to them. She cannot locate them because she deleted them from the old computer and the hard drive. Is there anything she can do to fix it??? Please and thank you !

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Alert file entry: Load Information not supported by OS!

I get the following alert file entry every 30-60 seconds with any database I create with Oracle8.1.5i on RedHat6.2:
Load Information not supported by OS!
The entry appears to relate to PMON and (eventually) causes the creation of PMON derived trace files.
Can anybody help?

About a day after you posted your advice, I finally managed to get our Oracle support info from our Oracle reseller, and they have advised the same thing. Apparently, this is a known bug.

How do I close multiple documents opened in Finder when the files are loading and the Application is not responding?

I was moving 90 files from one folder to another and instead accidently double clicked all the files I had selected and they all opened at once and now they are all stuck trying to load and the program is not responding.
When I put my mouse over the folders, it's just the loading cursor so i can't select anything. I've tried using 'command' - 'option' - 'W' and that doesn't work either.
I have tried restarting finder and all that does is shut all of the folders and reopens them and they get stuck trying to load all over again.
I have tried restarting my macbook and every time I log back in, it restarts all the programs and all the finder windows and the whole process repeats.
(even when I unselect the 'restart opened programs' box.)
I really hope someone knows how to troubleshoot this problem I am having!

How do I find the bookmarks file when I can not load the application? I.e., I can not get to the library.

My laptop died. The hard drive is in a case and accessible. It is connected to a 10 year old Pentium. How can I retrieve the bookmarks file from the Laptops drive when I can not load Firefox from that drive? I.e., I can not get to the library on the Laptop drive. I do have full access to it.

You can locate main bookmarks file, '''places.sqlite''', for restoration in another Firefox install, in your profile directory.
Since you profile is on another hard drive, the normal shortcuts to find it won't work.
On Windows XP, you can find the profile here:

Where:
* C:\ is replaced by the drive letter you mounted the laptop drive on.
* Windows login/username is replaced with your windows user name you used on that hard drive.
* xxxxxxxx.default is replaced with 8 random characters followed by .default, and should be the only folder in Profiles.

How to find a specific file ? OR, Zen not finding virtual XP in Win7

1. there's an option in zen10 to check for systems with virtual
machines, though we end up with zero hits even though we DO have
approx 20 PC's with virtual XP mode running on Win7/64

Ok,, just tested the option to do a inventory scan, full scan for
software files....BUT,, the file I want Zenworks to recoqnize;
vmwindow.exe, simply doesn't show up ..??
It's not exluded as far as I can tell from the inventory defintion's,
still, it's just not there when checking the report.
I know the file is there, I can see it both through explorer and
through a command prompt....

How do I find dynamically related files where Wordpress is not involved

There are lots of posts about "Dynamically-related files could not be resolved because the site definition is not correct for this server" but they all seem to relate to Wordpress or other blogging software.
I have recently had to upgrade from DW8 to DW CS5.5 running on Windows 7 64bit. and get this error on lots of pages but there is no help about fixing it. The local testing server is localhost set up to run PHP with iis7 on virtual folders.
What do I have to do to get the dynamically related files to be found?

I think I've cracked it - nothing to do with databases, that was a red
herring.
I had a hundred or so sites on an XP machine running Dreamweaver 8 and used
the export facility to save their settings when I moved to a Windows 7
system. Win7's directory structure is different but the testing server
location stored in the export file doesn't take account of this and part of
the path may now include directories that are viewed as shortcuts. Once the
locations are reset in Win7 terms, the errors go away.

I have a Ultra 5 with a recently upgraded 30gig seagate IDE drive. I am trying to install Solaris 8 10/01 of which appears to install correctly, but upon reboot I get the above referenced message. I have tried installing with various disk partitioning methods. I have also tried to manually copy the kernel over from the cdrom to the / slice.
Solaris 9 installs ok but I would rather run 8 to be able to run the pc launcher software.

It seems the problem was the first software disk. I went back to the download page and downloaded the multiple files vs. the single file.
Booted straight off of the Software disk 1 and now here I am, up and running.

In the exported dump directory, we truly cannot find above TOC files.
We did not have any ERROR during the export phase.
According to my experience, this might be caused by the fact that this ABAP BW system has a JAVA add-on
on a different server with a dfferent SID than the ABAP SID -- but the JAVA DB is in the same database as the ABAP but with a different schema. Therefore when we do export source system->central system->ABAP based, those TOC files could not be created. However I do not have the document created in my previous project, I cannot verify my impression.
Are SAPDDIM and SAPDFACT standard SAP objects?
Please help input your opinions.

How to mention the "dtd" file when loading xml file

i am using the JAXP parser for parsing and loading my xml file.In the file i have mentioned the dtd like
<!DOCTYPE screensmanagement SYSTEM "scrReg.dtd">
But after doing some manipulations, when i save the file through JAXP parser at the same location from where i loaded, then "dtd header" is not saved with my xml File and when i again parse the xml file then parser does not find the "dtd" file coz it is not been saved with xml source.
How can i get aroud this problem.
