Indeed, that's what I thought. But I couldn't find it anywhere. When I configure the logical port in SOAMANAGER, I had to resupply the WSDL.

I am getting the following error attempting to call a web service from a proxy. It appears to relate to the type of objects I am trying to send vs the type that is expected. Following the exception I am adding a copy of the control where calling the web service is sucessful, a copy of the proxy class that I am using to make this unsucessful call, and the controller.jpf that has the formBean where I am creating my objects

This exception means that xml namespaces are different.
Etc. soap has xml element which doesn't belong to namespace of parent xml element and namespace is set without prefix.
I had such problem.
Try to set namespace prefix for this element.
Example:
<el1>
<el2 xmlns="http://..."/>
</el1>
Should be
<el1>
<q:el2 xmlns:q="http://..."/>

• OSB Email Can't find wsdl for Proxy?

Hi,
OSB 11G
Req: System A will invoke OSB Service and OSB should send an email.
I have created a Business Service and Proxy Service for Email in OSB like:-
Business Service:
1.Selected Service Type as Message Service.
2. Req Message Type as Text
3.Select Protocol=Email ad gave End Point URI
4. Selected SMTP Server .
Proxy Service
1. I created XML(for incoming request content in Proxy) and imported in my Proxy and selected http Protocol in Proxy.
2. In Proxy, I created Route Node. In Route Node, I used Communication->Transport. and set the Transport Headers Subject as $body/ema:Email/ema:subject/text() =expression
To as $body/ema:Email/ema:to/text() =expression.
3. I added an action -replace with variable body and expression=$body/ema:Email/ema:content/text().
Both Business and Proxy are working fine. But I cannot see WSDL for OSB Service? As I want this OSB Service to be called from System A.
Thanks

You will not find a WSDL for http type service.
You have to create your own WSDL and create a WSDL based proxy service.

• No data from Proxy class

Hi,
I am having one proxy class created by XI, which is used to pull the data from Oracle. While executing the class in the program it is not outputing the data, but for the particular input data is available in Oracle.
While monitoring the XI request we can able to find the corresponding output in the transaction SXMB_MONI , but it is not flowing in the expoting parameter.
Please Suggest me.
Regards,
Meera C

Actually,in the standard program the functions 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT' and 'DB_COMMIT' have been commented during upgradation and there is a comment saying 'no commit in proxy class but from XI runtime (precondition: no errors)'.
what is the procedure for giving commit in XI runtime in asynchronou mode for a proxy interface?

• Best Practice for WSDL Generate Proxy Class for Web Service with Two Versions

Dear All
Thank you in advance for you help.
I would like to generate proxy classes for same function but with two versions.
Old version web service (v23.2) is used for stable modules in a project which is not going to modify.
However, enhancement is added in new version web service (v24) and is going to use in any future modules.
For example,
wsdl.exe -o="TestProxy.cs" -l:CS -n:Test -sharetypes https://community.workday.com/custom/developer/API/Notification/v23.2/Notification.wsdl https://community.workday.com/custom/developer/API/Notification/v24.0/Notification.wsdl
It generates similar classes with an '1' added at the end of the class name.
ublic partial class Event_TargetObjectType {
private Event_TargetObjectIDType[] idField;
public partial class Event_TargetObjectType1 {
private Event_TargetObjectIDType1[] idField; ...}
Since the function inside some class is the same, is it possible for WSDL.exe to generate proxy classes automatically that if the class is the same, then generate one class only (sameFunction()) but if it detects the class is different, then add '1'
to the end of class name (differentFunction() and differentFunction1())
i.e.
public class sameFunction()
public class differentFunction()
private int a;}
public class differentFunction1()
{ private int b;
Best Regards
mintssoul

Hi  mintssoul,
As per this case, I have shared corresponding details below :
1.As far as I know, WCF doesn’t support method overloading directly
2.Because WSDL doesn’t support method overloading (not OOPs).
3.WCF generates WSDL which specifies the location of the service and the operation or methods the service exposes.
4.WCF use Document/Literal WSDL Style : Microsoft proposed this standard where the soap body element will contain the web method name.
5.By default all the WCF services conform to the document literal standard where the soap body should include the method name.
6.but you can differ the method in the same manually by using Name attribute like below
For example:
[OperationContract(Name="Integers")]
int Display(int a,int b)
[OperationContract(Name="Doubles")]
double Display(double a,double b)
7. Or I suggest you that can use svcutil to map multiple namespaces for generating wcf service proxies .
for more information about this, refer here :
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1103686/use-svcutil-to-map-multiple-namespaces-for-generating-wcf-service-proxies

I want to find out where a class is being loaded from. So, using the config tool, I have added "-verbose:class" to the server's Java parameters and restarted. It's not in server0/log/defaultTrace.trc nor server0/kernel/classload/default.trc.

• Find User from java class

Hi experts,
What is the method called in find Users Form ?
I would like to call it in a java class.
From a java class, I would like to look for an IDM user in the lighthouse with a login name as a search criteria, how can I do this ?
Thanks a lot

From a java class, I would like to look for an IDM user in the lighthouse with a login name as a search criteria, how can I do this ?Method 1 if you don't call it from your webapps, and suppose you create a class to query you repository.
Method 2 supposed you call your class from the webapps.
Method 1(bad and ugly method, but no need to read specification): look in your repository, lighouse user are stored here.
Look, for example, in the account table.
Method 2: Read the waveset javadoc, at WSUser.
(IDPACK_2005Q3M3/REF/javadoc/com/waveset/object/WSUser.html)
WSUser(java.lang.String name, java.lang.String noop)try this :
WSUser user = new WSUser("youraccountname", null);

When we try to run Microsoft's proxy class generation utility, WSDL.exe, errors are generated that attribute incorrect syntax to the SAP WSDL file:

The WSDL file is obtained from the SAP ES Workplace, from the following URL:
http://erp.esworkplace.sap.com/socoview(bD1lbiZjPTgwMCZkPW1pbg==)/render.asp?&id=4FFC1A97663611DA36BB000F20DAC9EF&fragID=&packageid=DBBB6D8AA3B382F191E0000F20F64781&iv=
We have already tried both SAP files available from this location; neither works.
Any insight you can offer to help us generate these proxy classes is welcome. Note that the SAP PDF file, "ESOA-Roadmap-Workshop.PDF" talks about one syntactic incompatibility with Microsoft WSDL (on page 70), but this solution does not work, and indeed the token 'parameters' does not appear anywhere in either SAP WSDL file for Create Maintenance Request eSOA.
Thanks for any help you can offer!

I have the same problem after renaming "parameters" to "parameter" and I'm using the same example ES that's in the document:

I'm sure it's something really stupid since this example worked at some point for whoever wrote the doc...
It's sad that there is basically no .NET support from the SAP side and apart from a few documents there is basically no developer documentation or samples...

• Can't create client proxy classes from WebLogic-generated WSDL file

We have a web service that we used to generated a WSDL file. We then used clientgen
to try and create the client proxy classes from the WSDL. This failed. Doesn't
it seem reasonable that if WebLogic creates a WSDL that WebLogic should also be
able to consume that WSDL?

Can you please post the wsdl?

• Java stored proc from proxy Java classes generated from a web service?

Hi gurus,
I have searched "Java Stored Procedure" on this forum but could not find what I am looking for, so I have to post again.
I need to use a web service and my client app is written in PowerBuilder 11 (Sybase), which claims that it will create a datawindow from a web service. Well, it turned out that PB can only handle simple stuff (it works with a very simple wsdl from the internet) but can't handle more complex ones that we need to use. So I am thinking about using Oracle JDeveloper(JDev) to create the web service proxy for the web service and then load it into Oracle as a Java stored procedure so that PowerBuilder can call the procedure. JDev succsfully generated the proxy and a few Java classes. My question is, do I need to load all the classes into the database? If yes, will the reference to the package work? For example, in a JDev generated class (the soap client class), it has package MyJdev.proxy; at the top. Or, will it work if I load all the classes included in package /MyJdev/proxy into the database?
Thank you very much for any help.
Ben

For the java stored proc called from pl/sql, the example above that uses dynamic sql should word :
CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE MyPackage AS
TYPE Ref_Cursor_t IS REF CURSOR;
FUNCTION get_good_ids RETURN VARCHAR2 ;
FUNCTION get_plsql_table_A RETURN Ref_Cursor_t;
END MyPackage;
CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE BODY MyPackage AS
FUNCTION get_good_ids RETURN VARCHAR2
AS LANGUAGE JAVA
NAME 'MyServer.getGoodIds() return java.lang.String';
FUNCTION get_plsql_table_A RETURN Ref_Cursor_t
IS table_cursor Ref_Cursor_t;
good_ids VARCHAR2(100);
BEGIN
good_ids := get_good_ids();
OPEN table_cursor FOR 'SELECT id, name FROM TableA WHERE id IN ( ' | | good_ids | | ')';
RETURN table_cursor;
END;
END MyPackage;
public class MyServer{
public static String getGoodIds() throws SQLException {
return "1, 3, 6 ";

• AXL API WSDL Proxy Class C#

Hello all,
Has anyone been able to creat a working WSDL Proxy class for the AXAPI?
If so I would be forever indebted to you if you could post one.

• Creating Proxy Classes in Visual Studio 2010 from SAP ES

I am having problems with Microsoft's Visual Studio 2010 creaating a proxy class when importing a WSDL file from SAP's Enterprise Services.
When attempting to define the proxy class by pointing it to the endpoint WSDL, the import seems to work OK but the proxy class is not created. I don't have this problem with other WSDL's from non-SAP sources. There seems to be something "special" about the ES endpoint WSDL.
Is anyone else having this problem?

not always the 18th. For me it is the 14th. I think it is because I have some buttons hidden already. But seems like it is always the last one.
// The SAP Crystal Report logo is the last item on the 4th control.
System.Windows.Forms.ToolStrip oToolStrip = (System.Windows.Forms.ToolStrip)crystalReportViewer.Controls[4];

• No data from XI Proxy class

Hi,
I am having one proxy class created by XI, which is used to pull the data from Oracle. While executing the class in the program it is not outputing the data, but for the particular input data is available in Oracle.
While monitoring the XI request we can able to find the corresponding output in the transaction SXMB_MONI , but it is not flowing in the expoting parameter of the proxy class.
Please Suggest me what can be issue?.
Regards,

• How can I call a ABAP proxy class from BADI? PLease help

hi Experts,
I have a scenario where I have to call a ABAP proxy class from a BADI. How can I do this? Does anybody has sample code for the same?
Please help.
Thanks
Gopal

Hi,
You can call a method of a class from BADI. Here are the steps.
1) In the BADI implementation create a object for the proxy class.
2) Call the Execute_Synchronous method.
You can define a BADI by using SE18 and you can implement it by using SE19.
Sample code...
================================================
METHOD ZIF_EX_VBADI~CONVERTUPPER.
DATA: OBJ TYPE REF TO ZTESTCLASS.
DATA: IT_DATA  TYPE ZIN_MT,
IT_RES   TYPE ZOUT_MT,
SEXCEPTION TYPE REF TO CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT.
TRY.
CREATE OBJECT OBJ
EXPORTING
LOGICAL_PORT_NAME = 'TESTPORT'.
CATCH CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT INTO SEXCEPTION.
ENDTRY.
ENDMETHOD.
================================================
Thanks,
Vivek LR
