Fiori - My Spend

Hi all,
We are beginning the work with the SAP Fiori, but we don't know so much about the tool.
We are wanting to know:
The "My Spend" run on BW with the Oracle BD? Or only with the Hana?
The "My Spend" have some internal cube?
The "My Spend" use the information provided by the BW or use some other source?
If someone have some document or information about the My Spend that think important, but I don't mentioned, I would like that answer me.

My Spend application will work on any DB.

My Spend works on Controlling area and is a Manager application. Manager can see where exactly the budget assigned on Project and Department level is spent.
You can have a graphical as well as detailed view on the budget spent and budget left.
You have to maintain Personalization on backend and configure Cost center groups, Cost element groups Internal order. (FICO functional would be able to help you get this.
Please let me know if any detailed documentation is required on this application.

I have maintained the cost center. There is no cost element group. I have maintained single cost element as this is for 1 user as part of testing.

We have just implemented the "My Spend" Application, it is working , but it is "not exactly beautiful" on Desktop and Tablet (not supposed to run on smartphone according to SAP Documentation), and the navigation experience is quite poor when running the graphical view
My managers are a bit disappointed, I am wondering if I missed something (UI patch, Support package) :
First this is why my managers are not exactly enthusiastic, there are some display errors, navigation is really difficult
Our SAP BAckend is ECC6 EHP5, I have applied the latest Support PAckages for SRA012
Our Netweaver Gateway is 7.4 :
And I have applied the latest SAPUI5 patches :
I then executed the cleanup reports mentioned here :

Hi Raoul,
Referring to your first screenshot. The app looks fine. The extra green line which you see is the percentage of the spending on your total budget.
The entire red box(graph) means that there is over spending on the budget allocated for the period.
Say budget allocated was 100,000$ and spending is 900,000$.
May be you can choose other time period ; say Fiscal year 2014 to see some other view.
If you increase the budget allocated, you can find green box to appear properly. I would recommend to add one more cost center in the cost center group so that you can see 3 boxes.

Dropdown boxes in Fiori app My Timesheet (HCM_TS_CRE ) won't populate field

I hope you can help me out. We recently discovered that the Wave 2 apps are completely different implementations from the original, Wave 1 apps. I am trying to get two of the new apps running - My Timesheet (hcm_ts_cre) and Approve Timesheets (hcm_ts_apv).
In the MyTimesheet app, when the user tries to use one of the drop-down boxes in the time-entry screen to enter the internal order number or the attendance type, they click on the small box to the right of the field to bring up a dropdown box full of applicable values (IO's or Attendance Type codes, depending on the field). It populates correctly, but when the user clicks on a selection the box closes and the field remains empty.
I've tried this on Google Chrome, IE, Firefox and Safari (on both desktop and iPhone). The behavior is very consistent from one platform to another.
I upgraded the SAPUI5 component by installing OSS notes to bring everything up to the most recent release but it did not change the behavior. Shown below are the release levels of each of the libraries:

I've asked our basis team to install 1.24.2 by installing SAP_UI SP10 in the hopes that would help.

I found an OSS note pertaining to SAPUI5 that had not been completely installed, so I finished the implementation of it. Now the component versions are up-to-date, as shown below. I can't find any more SAPUI5 1.22.xx versions to install. 1.22.8 is the most recent.

I have tried it again from chrome, ie and firefox but the dropdown list is still not populating the field to which it is attached. I cleared the buffers of each browser with no improvement.
It seems like it must be related to the SAPUI component. I will de-implement all of the 1.22.8 notes and then re-apply them. And maybe the basis team will install the new version today.
I will update the ticket with any further news.
If you have any other ideas for me, I would love to hear them. Thanks!

Fiori - MySpend

Hi All,
We have implemented My Spend fiori APP and we realized by mistake we installed one of the first version that came with a lot of bugs. While we are evaluating to go to the latest upgrade or apply specific notes I want to know if for MySpend exist a workaround where you can have more than 1 controlling area assigned to a user?.
I know you can change the personalization dialog (using TCO. FPB_MAINTAIN_PERS_S) but this transaction only allow me to have one Controlling Area at the time, however we have end user(s) that own more than 2 Controlling area.

In MySpend app you can see only one controlling area's data at a time.
For different controlling area, you need to change the controlling area as per your requirement in FPB_MAINTAIN_PERS_S.

Decimal Notation IDR Currency on SAP Fiori

Dear Expert,
I had trouble with decimal notation on SAP Fiori. While I look My Spend on SAP Fiori, amount is different in ECC SAP with decimal notation.
In SAP Fiori : 98.130 IDR
In ECC SAP : 9.813.000 IDR
That's different on SAP Fiori and ECC SAP. I want amount in my Spend on SAP Fiori same with Amount in ECC SAP. I think SAP Fiori still pick the table (WRBTR) before calculate *100 with currency IDR, because ECC SAP automatic calculate *100 when IDR Currency.
( I think SAP Fiori like this piture, because it pick WRBTR table, and i want SAP Fiori pick Table in G/L Amount on ECC SAP)
How to solve this in SAP Fiori?

If I change decimal place of currency code IDR on OY04, it will change value on ECC SAP. It's mean like on SAP Fiori and ECC SAP same 98.130 but it's wrong. I want in SAP Fiori same with amount on ECC SAP, IDR 9.8130.000. I think SAP Fiori still pick the table before calculate *100. How to solve it?

Fiori Approve Timesheets - Activity Type not Displayed

According to the BPD document for the Approve Timesheets App, the Activity Type should be displayed in the details area of the timesheet.
However, when a user selects the details option, the following is displayed.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? I'm testing in Chrome and we're on the latest service pack that was just released last week.

Thank you for supplying these notes. They look like exactly what I need. We have implemented Fiori App My Timesheet and Approve Timesheet, but during the approval process, the approving manager cannot see what kind of time (attendance type) is being approved. All of the days shown below were entered as 8hrs of sick time, but that doesn't show up anywhere.
I was able to install the first OSS note 1994214 on the ECC back-end, but when I try to install 1994889 on the gateway, it won't because it can't find the right place to insert the new code in many objects.
I could find no prerequisite notes that were not already installed. Incidentally, the code it was looking for in the first one was a copyright notice for 2013, but instead the code had a copyright notice going to 2014.
We just installed UIX01HCM SP03. Was this OSS note included in that support pack? If so, it doesn't look like was effective because we are still not seeing any attendance types in the approval app.

SAP Fiori Apps Speed

Hi experts
Recently all our Fiori apps (wave 1) are having some issues with loading in data.
Most requests sent to our server take 40+ seconds making the use of the Fiori apps almost impossible.
We are running some other custom made SAPUI5 apps on the same server using the same gateway and there we don't have issues with the speed.
Only with the services of the Fiori apps we are getting issues where the total processing time is 91.xxx seconds and nearly 99% of that time he spends on the DB.

Vendor Spend Report

Hi Gurus,
I am working on developing a quaterly vendor spend report with some additional custom fields to narrow down the custom report. I am looking at table LFC1. I want to know if that is the right table for payment information for quaterly purpose. Also, please throw in your logic to calculate the quaterly amount .
Also, suggest me if there are any other tables i should be taking into picture for vendor quarterly spend report .

The table you are looking into is the perfect table.
The only problem in this table is it will be the transaaction figure total table, which will take your invoice booked, credit memo booked & the payment made also.
So i feel that this table will not solve your requirement.
Better take the table BSIK & check with your FI team & exclude the document types that are used for the payment to the vendor
To arrive at the quarterly spend check the fiscal year variant attached to the company code & map the no of the periods to the quarter (Posting period in BSIK - MONAT)

How to add two services in a single application in SAP FIORI

Hi Experts,
            I am working on SAP FIORI and created a starter application project using oData services. Initially i am adding one service from catalog and i want that service details ie., Business Partners to be displayed in my master view. Till this I am able to see the data in my master view.
        Now i would like to add one more service with which i should be able to see the item details of each and every BP.
But i dont know where to add this second service and how..?

         My problem is fixed, they are calcualted if you have a child nodes. How means Revenue is positive and Expenses are negative. So we get difference of this two.

Error Message on a Extended Fiori application

I'm currently trying to Extend and modify a SAP Fiori application
The SAP Standard application is installed and working successfully in our system at the moment.
When i'm trying to launch our extended Z Application i get the following error message
Failed to resolve navigation target: #SAP_HCM_LVExtension-View - Error (500, Internal Server Error) in OData response for GET "/sap/opu/odata/UI2/INTEROP/ResolveLink?linkId='SAP_HCM_LVExtension-View'&shellType='FLP'&formFactor='desktop'": HTTP request failed
Details: Launchpad ZHCM_APP / TRANSACTIONAL / SAP_HCM_LVExtension does not exist.
In LPD cust we have the link text of SAP_HCM_LVExtension
An Application Alias of SAP_HCM_LVExtension
Any help would be appreciated !

Error while running fiori application in launchpad which is having image in its empty view

Hi Experts,
I have created a fiori application using odata services and uploaded it into launchpad.I want to display image in its empty view. It is getting displayed when i run the application on eclipse but i am getting the error for the same when i run it on launchpad.
Below is the error:
"NetworkError: 404 NOT FOUND - http://ws-sapsvr01:8010/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/ushell/shells/abap/img/TeamSAP.jpg"

In my case, i've the file 'preco_ok.jpg' located inside my extended project (Z_MM_MyProject -> WebContent -> images)
And I refer it as follow:

In the local enviroment it is ok, but on launchpad, the 404 error is shown:
GET http://host:port/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/ushell/shells/abap/images/preco_ok.jpg 404 (NOT FOUND)

(Self-)signing a MIDlet for use on ~10 phones without spending money

Hello everyone,
I just spend like 4 hours researching how to sign MIDlet and I am totally confused.
Instead of asking for general instructions I am going to explain what I want to do. Hopefully that will enable people to tell me whether or not this is possible and what steps I should take.
What I want to do:
* I have a MIDlet (JAR+JAD pair), written for J2ME CLDC 1.1/MIDP 2.0
* This program needs to read and write files, as well as access GPS (using the Location API). I have specified the needed permissions in the JAD file (MIDlet-Permissions and MIDlet-Permissions-Opt)
* The end goal is to be able to run this program on a limited number (<=10) of phones. All phones are Nokia handsets running S60 3rd Ed. FP1/2. They are owned by my organisation so the IMEI numbers are known
* And now for the important thing: the program should not throw runtime warnings when files are accessed or the location API is used
* Because this is an entirely non-commercial thing the whole process should not cost me any money
So far I've been testing this application on a single Nokia N95-2 (8GB). Because the MIDlet is unsigned (or at least I believe that is why) it throws lots of runtime warnings (concerning file access and location access, eg: "Allow application X to read user data?" YES/NO). So this is exactly what I need to avoid when deploying this program on the ~10 other phones.
I understand that it is most likely impossible to achieve this with a single "signed" file that can be deployed on all 10 phones. However, supposing there is some free(!) "(self-)signing" procedure that produces a MIDlet that will work without the runtime warnings on a specific phone (identified by IMEI#), I am perfectly willing to go through this procedure for every phone/IMEI involved.
So is this possible? And if so, what are the steps I should take. Please give me as much info as possible. I've been googling for hours and I ave yet to find a decent explanation for a scenario like this.

It is my understanding (from posts on other forums) that the procedure explained on that webpage ( [http://browndrf.blogspot.com|http://browndrf.blogspot.com] ) only works/worked on Nokia S60 2nd edition devices, due to a bug (or feature?) in Nokia's MIDP implementation. In the 3rd edition of the S60 platform this bug was fixed so the procedure no longer works.
As for my own project, we bit the bullet and got ourselves a Verisign certificate after all (for a whooping $500). So the problem is solved, although it wasn't exactly cheap.

You might just have to contact Apple and ask them to remove it (losing it). Usually people clear a balance by buying one song and having the exact remainder charged to their credit card, but if you don't have a US credit card you cannot do that.

- The first thing I don't understand, running the project step by step, is how a DLL can call back functions in the program, when the object is created with a CreateObject().

So, during the execution of "PlanningManagerDLL.Forecast_prepare", my next step should be the line just after (I put a breakpoint on it to be sure that it cannot resume the execution), instead it goes back to my original class BOTSPPromotionPlanning, and calls several functions in it, then resumes to the True/False test
I searched the entire project and couldn't find any calls to these functions elsewhere.
My first deduction was that this PlanSrvc.dll somehow called its parent (or parent's parent) function, by i've just thought that it may have declared an object of BOTSPPromotionPlanning, or the dll of sfabol, but as I cannot access its code (standard SAP dll, it seems) I can't tell what happens.
- This leads to my 2nd problem :
As of the latest SP08 and patches we are working with (though I don't know what was the latest patch), the Volumes/Trades Spends planning is displayed as follow :
Product Group          Material          Sales Unit

and I would want it displayed as in the crm_mktpl transaction :
Total               # (or blank)          ST

But the only result I can get is (by applying a modification in method PopularCharValues, similarly to note 787400)
Total               Id1               ST
               Id2               ST
   P1               Id1               ST
                    Id2               ST
      Product1          Id1               ST
      Product2          Id2               ST
(and here in Total and P1, the key figures are displayed for each product instead of being calculated in the 1 line case)
I tried to play with variables during runtime, but I could only put one of the IDs to '#' so I still got the 2 lines with a '#' and the other Id.
These lines seem to be set in the dll PlanSrvc, unless I missed something.

Or maybe someone can tell me where to modify so as I get the right values ?

I thought I had found a way around that problem by displaying the Product1 / Id1</b> line, and leaving the <b>#</b> in the 2nd column. The values were well calculated ; but while saving, only one product (on the 1st line) is saved. I think it is because the savin process checks the
Material column for distinct values.However with my original solution, both the 2 products were saved.

Ok I managed to get this solution :

My problem in the -edit- of the previous post came from a conversion function, as the products didn't have their reference loaded it didn't update well a counter, so the converted objects didn't have the same structures and one was discarded some functions later.
Now I have yet to see if it is ok when transferring the Campaign to the CRM Server (CRM_MKTPL transaction, which displays my original wanted solution), but as I only modified display variables and it seems that what is stored are the SQL Keys of the products, I think it will be OK.
I still didn't get the DLL thing but I should be able to continue without having to modify it.
