Fios available to rest of apartment except mine.

Verizon has done construction for Fios in the apartment building where I live. But I was left out. Two technicians cames out and still nothing has changed. What does it take to get Verizon to finish construction on my building so I can finally get Fios installed.

Got a call yesterday from Verizon. Told me that the engineer and the installation guy will come on my scheduled installation date, Saturday. So when they're finished, I'll have Fios by then hopefully.

Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.
On your mum's iPhone go to Settings > General > About > Name - put in your mum's name so that iTunes can tell them apart.

The missing link : the MacBook Pro needs to be powered... as in you need to plug the charger in...
In conclusion, you simply plug everything, turn on the MacBook Pro, close the lid, and there you go !

Help With FIOS Availability

Help! Help! is what need. Verizon has buried and spliced all the cables in the neighborhood. But still has not made it live WHY??? I've tried calling and cannot get a real answer only the standard "it should be coming soon. It's been well over 6 months and nothing! The residence prior to our subdivision entrance has it but we don't. Isn't there someone I can talk to to get a real answer? HELP!

Try asking your local taxing authority about the status of FiOS availability in your area. While they certainly don't control when and where Verizon activates service, they are a gating factor in the granting of franchise agreements and other operating rights for providers. Chances are that if they haven't issued anything to Verizon yet -- it will be a while -- or it could be the holdup which is preventing installation in yout area.

Fios available to my neighbors but not to me

I just moved 2 weeks ago and I called verizon to get me set up at my new home. They told they will come in 3 weeks after my move. A week later they call me back and said Fios was not available to me. I used the a availability test thing the verizon offers to check if it is available to you. I did for my home address and it said it was not available, but when I tried my neighbors home address it said either they got verizon at there home or it is available for set up. Can someone please tell me why I can not get Fios if my neighbors can get it. I would love to has Fios at my new home.

I am having the same problem. I live at the end of a street. The road dead ends into my property. I have a larger lot and my neighbors on both sides of the street have Fios available, one has the service, and my house is listed as not available. the pole that the line is on is on the property line between my house and the neighbor that has it. I have been calling and emailing but no one is willing to respond with a real answer. I just get a canned response that there can be many reasons for this such as jurisdictions or right of ways etc. This is nonsense. I am the last home. The right of way extends into my property. After my house there is nothing but hundreds of acers of farmland. I am right next to the last available house. I need to meet the engineer who enters the information in the system but I cannot reach any one. The people on the 800 numbers have been a dead end and will not let me speak with anyone past them.
This is very frustrating. How do I reach a local office to talk to someone in person?

DSL price increase but no FIOS available

I've seen some comments that if there is no FIOS available in your area that they don't increase your DSL price. But I've had a $5 increase last Fall and another $7 increase this month. I live in a condo, and FIOS is not available in our bldg. So why should I have to pay for a DSL increase? Any suggestions? Comcast is starting to look like a reasonable option.

My paper work for my linksys says WEP 64 bits. I've tried changing my IPOD to that and it will say put in password and when I do I get "invalid password" or can not connect. This has been in the last few weeks. I have researched this for the last 2 weeks, called apple and they said it's not my IPOD, called Linksys and they want to charge $30 to fix it. REST Services - Permission exceptions being thrown

In setting up a mobile site which will make use of REST services we have started to see exceptions in the log file. These exceptions do not happen all the time - that is they are random in nature. We may see them for about an hour or so and then not see them for a day.
We are seeing the same exceptions as identified in this Re: REST secureProductCatalog exception and I used the following [Not able to invoke ATG Rest services thread|https://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=10615221&#10615221] as a reference as well.
Working through the ATG10 document, have set up the restSecurityConfiguration.xml which identifies the beans with a secure setting of false, have set up the secureCustomCatalog.xml which identifies each of the item descriptors and the acl that is to be applied.
Have created an external user as well.
I created a simple unit test class - outside of my development environment - to simulate the remote call to the ATG server to verify the behavior. Everything passed.
Now I was able to reproduce the issue if after I establish the session (LogIn) , I log out before the call to the repository.
What I am wondering is -
1. Is there any other way in which this kind of error can be created/occurred?
2. Is there any other configuration that needs to happen?
As a side note, is there any way in which to configure REST so that it does not dump a stack trace to the log file in the event of this error - possible to create a more meaningful shorter message? When the issue happens, it just fills up the log files.

The issue turned out to be centered around the amount of connections from the mobile site to the REST service. This was verified via a load test.
Solution was to modify the mobile logic that would check if a connection/session was already open/available and use it, otherwise create a new one.

Deskjet 2544 wirelessly connects to all PCs on network, except mine.

I am having a great deal of difficulty tracking down a problem with connecting to a new printer we have at home. It was set up correctly to connect to our home router, and it definitely is connected with its own IP address.
All computers and mobile devices have successfully connected to this printer upon installing the drivers, except for one, which is connected to the router via ethernet, runs Windows 7 64bit.
I have tried every diagnostic utility and reinstalled the drivers multiple times to no avail. Windows itself can see the printer fine, but is unable to install it. When I try and add the device via the HP drivers by clicking 'Connect New Printer >> Wireless', instead of checking the network environment and finding the device it immediately moves on to the usb setup screen with the tickbox at the bottom for it already being set up to connect. I try and insist that the device is already connected to the network, which it is, and I then try and input its IP address manually at the next prompt, but the drivers still fail to detect it (even though windows sees the printer when I do 'Add New Printer' via Devices and Printers).
I have checked firewall and antivirus settings, attempting to connect with them both enabled and disabled.
There is something clearly wrong with my computer, as the other PCs on this network can connect just fine. I need some way of completely uninstalling any HP drivers and removing all registry entries correctly, so I can start from scratch again to see if there is some kind of driver corruption on my end. Either that, or I need a list of all the Windows services that are required by the drivers, so that I can check that they are running.

(a) Give it a static IP address (keep the number)
(b) From the computer which is wired connected to router add a printer and use its IP address.
(c) Install software and drivers as required

But I can not see them in sytem (BI7 21pkg), all others are available...
is there a way to activate them....

Text variables do not work when the variable the column on which the variable is running does not have a unique value under it.
Is the text variable getting the appropriate value if the query is run as a table? If yes, then you will probably be better off opening a OSS message with SAP.

Is cost available from REST?

I see costs on order confirmation pages, but having trouble finding this data via REST. The demo system I am using has $0.0 cost everywhere. I assume it would still be available through API and returned as 0.0, but maybe I need to set actual costs to get the elements in response?
I tried pulling servicedef data by id and do not see cost. A request for serviceoffering data returns no rows. Please let me know what request would return the cost the user sees when ordering.

I think I have what you're looking for. For a given Requisiton Id, below I have 117, you can get the cost details from 2 places.
For the Requisition, there is the total expected cost:

Edit: Perhaps it's worth mentioning: services don't have prices, per se. *
This is because a service will often contain items that are "dynamic" or variable pricing. If you are writing a service with pricing, or editing an existing one, you can update the total for the service with the special conditional rule action "Set Price". This lets you set the price based on things like a selected instance size, service level, etc.
When a Service is bundled (as per the original screenshot), you can set the pricing for the individual bundled services. (Typically the sub-services that are bundled are summed, but there are also more options on how to cost correctly when services are bundled, see Service Designer -> Service -> Offer -> Bundle). As far as I am aware, this information is not available through the REST API.
* It is possible to set pricing information in the Service -> Offer -> Pricing tab, but I can't right now recall how it is used.

FIOS Availability - My address is missing from the data base

I am looking to order Verizon Fios Internet and am always told it is not available at my address. I know it is available as my neighbor to my left, and across the street both have it. Also, Verizon dug up my lawn to run the fiber which sort of adds a bit of "insult to the injury". I believe that my address was left off of the database when they updated our neighborhood. Does anyone know who I can contact to see about getting this corrected? Their order entry folks don't seem to know and all they will tell me is "it isn't available at my location".

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe". Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

Dsl/fios availability

i have been waiting for fios or any internet from verizon to come to my area that is 3mb/down or higher, people near me have it.. i know a person who is about 10 minutes walking distance from me that can get 7mb download (not fios though) and another person that is about 15 minutes away that can get 25mb fios.. am i out of luck or am i just unlucky at the moment?

If you are getting your error message after you follow the link I just posted it means that you have an outstanding order that is in some sort of error state and you need to call the business office to resolve that first.

Is itunes version 11.1 available to update on an iPad mini

I tried downloading music onto my PC and it asked to update to itunes version 11.1. I then connected my iPad mini ready to import and it won't connect . It asks to download 11.1 and gives a link. I'm then told itunes is a built in app. Is there a way to get the update?

Have you tried rebooting your PC? And if that doesn't work, you might want to try uninstalling iTunes from your PC (making sure that your library will remain safe, which I think it will) and doing a fresh install of iTunes. You should be guaranteed of getting the most recent version that way.
