Firefox 5 downloads but can't be opened. help.

FF 5 .dmg is "not recognized." I've downloaded it 3 times with the same result. Other .dmg files open in the usual way. I currently have FF 4.0.1 running in safe mode on a Mac with 10.6.7.

Okay...I'm sorry for the panic. I finally just re-booted the computer and now the Finder is working.
But, yes, to answer your question, Linc, it was -10810 (I'm typing that from memory, so it may be off by a digit or two???)
Could it be the bug that was mentioned in previous threads? Or, maybe just a fluke?
This was my first time to post a question/problem, so it is nice to know there are folks out there, ready to help.

Tools > Downloads or {Ctrl + J} will open the Downloads window

Yes you can watch it offline after you start it though the timer for the rental will start so if you dont finish it with in the time window of the rental you will have to re rent it.

I actually had no clue what the core problem was caused by. So it's Windows itself...that helps some.
I'll resubmit there. It might actually have saved time for it to simply have been moved to there instead of off-topic, though I suppose you have to follow protocol.

Any app that you download using iTunes is for use only on iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch, and not on a PC. It's possible they have a separate app for PC, as some companies do, but the one you downloaded via iTunes definitely will not open in Windows 7.

The latest iTunes version is 11.0.1 version. 11.0.2 does not exist. Have you tried opening Apple menu > Software Update and install iTunes 11.0.1? If it doesn't show up, you have already iTunes 11.0.1

It sounds like you’re concerned because you don’t see your rentals in iTunes, but they appear to have downloaded. Take a look at the article below and check the Rentals tab in iTunes on your MacBook.
About renting movies from the iTunes Store - Apple Support
Find movies you rented previously
Find your movie on the device you used to rent it.
On a Mac or PC: Go to the Rentals tab in the Movies section of the iTunes Library.
On an iOS device: Go to the Rental tab of the Videos app.
Using Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation): Look in the top shelf of the main menu.

Analytics can be accessed from the account under which folios are published for that app. If you don't see it under the account, I think it's best you contact support. Login to your DPS dashboard and click on "Contact Support" at the bottom left

Did you check the outgoing mail server setting? Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.
