Firefox thinks I am in Indonesia, how do I reset this to in US (all sites I access from firefox default to Indonesian, e.g. google and yahoo). I have cleared the cache. This does not happen on explorer on same laptop.

I am based in the US. Since a business trip to Jakarta, everything I bring up in Firefox defaults to Indonesia, e.g. yahoo comes up in Indonesian id.yahoo.com, google displays as google.co.id.
I have:
- cleared the firefox cache.
- searched settings for a country or language setting
- searched firefox help archive
This does not happen on explorer on the same pc.

I believe that our “Werbung problem” adds an additional second hyperlink to the pop-up window. This second link is activated whenever you trigger a saved hyperlink to a Mail.com site.
I had the same problem and eliminated it by deleting all bookmarks, hyperlinks and automatic links that take firefox to a mail.com address. So I just deleted all bookmarks I had saved for mail.com. I also changed my home page link because it also went to my email at mail.com. I then did a warm boot, opened firefox and re-saved my bookmarks and homepage to the desired addresses. Good luck.

That are crashes caused by the Shockwave Flash plugin.
You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and try this:
*disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
Note: This is now your Library. It's not a Back Up, and you need another disk for backing up.

It's possible that the pages you are attempting to open simply won't work with that old web browser.
If you're using Mac OS X Tiger, update to the latest version, which is 10.4.11. (You might be using that already. Your profile says you're running 10.4.1, but I bet that's just a typo.)
Then get the latest version of Safari that will run on Tiger. (And... you have that already: 4.1.3.)
You might try a more modern browser designed specifically for your current OS. That would be TenFourFox.

I am a Flash developer. When I change a Flash file (SWF) and try to test it, Firefox displays the previous version even though I have cleared the cache. Clearing the cache obviously doesn't clear everything. Why?

I developed a Flash file (SWF) with a light blue start button, placed it on a web server then went to the URL using Firefox (3.6.8). Later I updated the SWF (changed the button to dark blue), replaced the SWF on the web server, opened Firefox and used Tools/Clear Recent History... to clear the cache. Then when I went to the URL to test the replaced SWF it clearly opened the previous version (light blue button). How can that happen if the previous version no longer exists on the web server? Firefox can only be opening the file from its cache, so why is the file still there if I just cleared the cache?

I had the identical issue with iPhone config Utility on windows 7 64bit.
A virtual macOS on the same machine didn't have a problem, windows iTunes didnt have a problem. Just a glitch with ICU on windows
I tried everything you did and the only thing that fixed it was to change the appID or app name (I forget which I did).
I don't know where that old app data is stored on the machine, but I deleted all apps, uninstalled/reinstalled ICU and it still would populate and install the old ipa.
I also still periodically get weird errors/glitches deploying to iOS on windows.
It's like some days I need to deploy with ICU, sometimes iTunes, sometimes I need to run the VM mac... SOO frustrating.
It always works one way or another, so the app itself is always fine.
I guess I really need to look into that new direct deployment option...

In iGoogle with firefox 4 I am unable to get the tabs to change down the left hand side or get any response to selections made to items like calender or weather this does not happen in Explorer 9.

After loading FireFox 4 all worked OK for a while. Now when trying to change the tabs on left hand side (Home etc) or change selections on the apps (Weather or Calender) nothing happens. I am running iGoogle with FireFox 4 but this does not happen when trying the same thing with Explorer 9.

Having the same problem, but not only can't change tabs, but cannot open links on the page. I thought that by reducing my iGoogle page to one tab, and putting what content I could into app tabs that would solve most of the problems. It did some. I can no longer open my Comcast email when I launch from Firefox - it takes me to the email preview page but will not allow me to open the inbox . Does not happen with Internet Explorer.

This started last month - when I go to my comcast account, I'm able to log on and view my account but can not open my email inbox. When I enter my user name and password, I'm taken to the "Email Preview" page so that I can see a partial view of the inbox but when I click on "View Entire Inbox" it jumps to a page showing that it's loading but goes right back to the preview page - I can't open any of the emails. Depending upon what country that you are in have you tried deleting and redownloading it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes ? If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link.
