First please read this- applet not initialized

I read forums topic which is relational with applet errors but I couldnt solve my problem.
I developed a program with php and mysql.there isnt any printing library for php under linux.so I am using an applet for printing.I could use javascript but I dont want to show printer dialog so I chose java applet.in my htdocs directory I put class file and all other php files are there too.when I want to run this php file which has inside applet tag it shows me "applet not initialized".so can you help me for this?that applet works on my pc but in server it didnt work.what is wrong with server or apache?I set up j2sdk to server too but I couldnt solve this problem something wrong with apache maybe it cant find the class file or do I have to recognize java files to apache like php?

  • Ipod not connecting again, apple please read this.

    First let me state that I made posts awhile back about my Ipod touch not being able to be recognized by itunes at all and just as a camera by windows. Now every single guide did nothing to help and the FEW people that posted had posted things I already did that did not help.
    HOWEVER the version of Itunes that was prior to the one I just downloaded connected PERFECTLY with no issues.
    But I just updates and wouldnt you know it, the connection problem is BACK. Apple please read this, the last version of Itunes had something different with how it connected to the Ipod...PLEASE bring that back, its so inconvenient not being able to connect to my own Ipod
    If someone wants to post a reply that might help feel free...but everything on this website and even a few others not posted here have not worked, this is mostly me praying that Apple reads it...that tiny difference on how it connected made a huge difference with my computer.

    Thanks. I worked out a simpler method of turning off the internet access - just switching off my wireless modem. Either way, this works and with the PC not connected to the internet, all three Apple devies will sync.
    Thinking about it now, I had a similar problem a few versions ago which I recognised because with Home Sharing on and connected to the internet iTunes was trying to find files from someone in another hotel room who also sharing the hotel's wireless network. My devices would not sync then either. This seemed to be resolved with subsequent itunes upgrades until now ....
    Thanks for the advice. Let's hope Apple's next 'update' actually updates itunes so it can sync Apple devices whilst simultaneously connected to the internet (not a big ask really).

  • Chat applet not initialized???

    OS X on iMac...try to log in yahoo Chat but I get an error message " applet not initialized " I check every HELP suggestion but none will do nor does it properly address the issue. How does one initialize applet? Some say uninstall Java then re-install but OS X doesn't allow me to uninstall JAVA which came preinstalled. The funny thing is that the bottom portion of the yahoo chat site works but the chat area is blank.
    Can anyone help? .Mac support guys are useless they only want money! they will not offer any assistance until a payment is made. Even then they can't guarantee anything. can anyone help me? I want to CHAT ON YAHOO.

    Example settings for chat, based on Safari browser:
    In Safari, select Preferences > Security > Web Content. Make sure the three check boxes pertaining to Java - "Enable Plugins", "Enable Java" and "Enable JavaScript" are active.
    Some web chat providers also require that you install their client software.
    Having never used such services, I do not know if this applies to Yahoo, or if they provide suitable client software for Mac OS X users.

  • Adobe Support:  Please Read, New Flash Not Working

    Adobe, please read this.  My Flash player is not working and I would be happy to help you troubleshoot.  I have a completely fresh install of Windows XP on a Dell Laptop and the new Flash Player is not working.  I am in the tech field so I will understand most of your requests...Here is my situation.
    The problem began just after Christmas when I returned home from holidays and tried to watch videos, which I do all the time for both work and pleasure.  Videos would not play in a watchable manner...I could hear audio but video was completely choppy and unwatchable.  I researched and researched and implemented many suggestions but to no avail.  Thus, I COMPLETELY rebuilt my system from scratch.  (I needed to do this anyway since it had been 2 years.)
    After the rebuild, on a completely fresh install of XP on a Dell D410 laptop (that was playing all videos just fine a week ago), I installed Firefox, went to youtube which prompted me to install Flash, and then had the exact same problem that I had before the complete reinstall of everything.  There are scarecely any variables here other than the Dell Laptop, a standard Windows XP SP2 build, Firefox and Flash.
    I think I have narrowed this problem down to two things.  One, the new version of Flash.
    It's choppy on youtube AND it's choppy on megavideo, the other place where I watch a lot videos.
    I then tried on IE, which also prompted for the new version of flash, and also had the same problem.  Chrome--same result.
    However, this problem cannot be a universal problem with Flash otherwise nobody would be able to watch any videos onlline.
    This leads me to the second problem, which a complete hypothesis but it seems to be the only thing left:  my Dell laptop.
    I have noticed that some of the other folks with reported problems, who mention their system type, are also using Dell laptops.  Mine is an older d410, but as I said, it was running every video just fine up until a week or so ago when all of the sites forced me to install the new version of Flash.  Most Dell laptops use a common video driver set and this is what is leading me to this conclusion.
    So, could this be a problem with the new Flash and Dell laptops (or systems that use a common video driver)? As a reference point, my "display adapter" says "Mobile Intel (R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family".
    Viewing videos is part of my job (and entertainment) and I cannot do anything right now.
    Someone out there...please hlep.  Adobe, where are you?  We are here providing you with all of the information that you need....

    However, Adobe, I need your help.
    In summary, I have a fresh build of Windows XP, SP2 on a Dell D410 and the Flash player does not work.  This affects at least 50% of the sites I visit.  Right now, I simply have the Flash Player uninstalled and can surf the net rapidly.  Once I install it, I am back to a crawl and still cannot affectively watch any videos (they all have extreme video choppiness but the audio is fine).
    I need your help, Adobe.  Everything was working fine until 2 weeks ago.  It is unfair of you to distribute a product like this, force everyone to use it, and have it not work for some of us.
    So far, this free product has cost me hundreds of dollars as a good part of my job is reviewing videos.
    Many have suggested that I buy a new computer to fix the problem.
    Is this really necessary?

  • "applet not initialized " error message  HELP !

    My applet compiles ok but when I try to run it at the bottom of the screen it says

    note - it works ok compiling from the Window console and then opening
    the .html file in the browser, but when I try the same applet in the

  • Applet not initialized, when I uninstall JRE1.4.1_24 on Win NT 4.0

    We have uninstalled JRE1.4.1_24 from Win NT4.0 system and installed JRE1.3.1_08. Applet not initialized error coming up when the broser tries to open applet. Please help.

    The Windows Java uninstall doesn't do a good job cleaning up after itself.
    I ended up having to reinstall JRE1.4 to getting it working again.

    General
    Where do I get the latest software, drivers and firmware?
    Click the link Support > Downloads on this page.
    In general, when installing on a new PC you need to download the driver, and some software to communicate with the player e.g. MediaSource, Media Explorer. For players using the v2.xx MTP/PlayForsure firmware drivers are not necessary, but you must have Windows XP and Windows Media Player 0 (this provides the MTP driver).
    Important: Even though files are described as updates, none of the software requires a previous version to install. At worst they will prompt you to connect your player to verify you own a Creative product.
    Note if you are downloading MediaSource make sure to download and install the relevant MediaSource plugin for your player. If MediaSource can't detect your player this is the first thing to check. For the v.xx PDE firmware the plugin is called the Creative Zen and NOMAD Jukebox plugin for Creative MediaSource , and for the v2 MTP/PlayForSure firmware it's called Creative MediaSource Plugin for PlaysForSure devices .
    I am completely new to MP3 players, where should I start?

    If you can, the best test is to try your player with another PC, to see if you still have the problem. This localises whether the problem is with the PC (most likely the USB) or the player. See the link below (search on "connection problems") for a lot more troubleshooting on this.
    What bit-rate should I encode my music at?
    Ultimately it's down to your ears what bit-rate you prefer, and you should listen for yourself to determine it. If you ask on the forum you'll get many different opinions.

    How long should my battery last?
    For the Zen and Nomad Jukebox players, to get some idea of how long your battery will last for a given bit-rate look at the battery curves thread. Ultimately battery life is dependent on how you use the player, make sure to follow the "why doesn't my battery last as long as expected?" link below.
    How long does an RMA take?
    Typically 2 weeks. But it might take a little longer, so don't start posting if it's 5 days.

    Where can I buy online music or get legal downloads for my player?

    My tracks don't play at the correct speed e.g. they play too slowly, why?
    Chances are they are encoded in an unsupported sampling frequency. The tracks will need to be re-encoded at a supported bit-rate and/or frequency with something like Creative's MediaSource Audio Converter or dbPowerAmp.
    Can a Creative player work on an Apple Mac?
    It isn't officially supported, but some kind folks out there have written freeware applications to get your Creative player working with Macs. XNJB provides support for the Zen players, and requires OS X 0.3 or 0.4 (check the site for full details). MuVoHelper solves some problems with getting the MuVo to work optimally. The iTunes Zen plugin should support all Zen players. Note if the link to the plugin is broken just Google "iTunes Zen plugin" to find other sources. Also note there's no guarantee that these programs will work with the Mac, so if you have issues you should address your problems to the developer(s) of the relevant program.
    Can a Creative player work on Linux?
    Again it isn't officially supported, but again some kinds folks out there have written freeware applications to get your Creative player working. There's the Gnomad2 project. And don't forget the Linux forum at Nomadness.net if you are still having problems.
    Tag Based Players
    This section covers the players that use a hard disk and work using tags e.g. Zen Xtra, Touch, Micro, Sleek.
    My Zen is not behaving properly, won't startup, or goes into rescue mode. What should I do?
    If the Zen is not starting properly or not behaving correctly, first try to reset it. To reset all players except for the Zen Micro there is a small switch on the side of the player typically, that you should press using something like a bent paper clip. Don't use anything sharp. To reset the Zen Micro simply remove the battery and replace it.
    If this doesn't work then access rescue mode, and try running a disk cleanup.
    Next you should try reloading the firmware/OS, but beware if you are having connection problems also with your PC you may end up with a player that has no firmware and cannot be reloaded.
    The last resort is to format the player. This will erase the contents from the player, including the content that ships with the player.
    If none of these resolve the problem and you are under warranty you should get in contact with support to arrange replacement of the player.
    If you aren't under warranty Creative will still repair the player, which you can arrange by contacting support.
    How do I do a Disk Cleanup and/or access Rescue/Recovery Mode?
    Refer to the sticky Rescue Mode thread. Disk Cleanup is accessed from this. Note that the MuVo players (with the exclusion of the MuVo? players) do not have Rescue Mode.
    How long should a Disk Cleanup take?
    It should only take a few minutes, and no longer than 30 minutes. Anything longer than this and there is a problem with the player and you need to contact Creative Support.
    How long should a format take?
    Only a few seconds. Anything more than a minute and there is a problem with the player and you need to contact Creative Support.
    Although I can get into Rescue Mode, I can't select any option, or the options don't work?
    If Rescue Mode is not working properly or commands can't be chosen the player is faulty. You need to contact Creative Support.
    When are the Zen 20Gb/Neeon going to be released outside of the Asia Pacific region?
    Due to popular request the Neeon is launched in the USA, but nowhere else for now. If you want the Neeon then contact your regions Customer Services to request it.
    The Zen 20Gb is available from some shops in the USA and Europe e.g. Cambridge Soundworks, and Amazon.co.uk.
    Is there a known issue with the Zen Micro headphone socket?
    Creative Support have neither confirmed nor denied it officially. Some users have posted purported emails from Creative on the forum saying that the socket has been reinforced, but these have not been confirmed by Creative Support either. The exact incidence of the problem is unknown, but newer players seem to suffer less from it.
    Should I buy the Zen Micro or Touch etc. and what colour should it be?
    We can't tell you what player to get, or what colour it should be. Look at your collection size and the features of the player (see Nomadworld.com for the product pages) and decide yourself based on this.
    Why does my Zen Micro battery drain so quickly?
    The standby time (24 hours from turn-off) for the Zen Micro seems to use a lot more power than previous Zens. Creative have released both v (..0+) and v2 (2.20.05+) firmware that reduces the standby time to 4 hours. Make sure to update to one of these if you have a draining problem.

    First of all we need your stats so we can determine if or not their is an issue:

    and then please copy and paste your adsl stats making sure you expand to show all details:
    We need to determine whether you have a throughput or speed or IP profile issue, there is only one official speed tester that BT will accept for speed test and you need to go to http://www.speedtester.bt.com and then type click on the ADSL/FTTC option:
    and then type in your phone number, wait for the results to be displayed:
    and once the results have been displayed with your IP Profile please copy and paste the results to your post.
    Also searching your exchange on http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange_search , this is not neccessary but can sometimes help.
    Always make sure you try changing the filters this can be a common problem.  If you have a mastersocket with a split front then unscrew the bottom bit and behind there should be a hidden test socket, you usually should try to test your broadband in there to make sure your internal wiring ins't causing interference this can be one of the highest common factors of slow broadband.  Usually your broadband will be dependant on your line length from the exchange which will be based on your attenuation, so if your far from the exchange your not likely to get a great speed on ADSL.
    Also dialling 17070 and pressing Option 2 to do a quiet line test will show if you have any noise on your line.  If there's any noise on your line, try changing your filter's first and then call (0800 800) 151 and report a line fault don't mention broadband and go from there.

I do feel it would put some members off, in particular ones who have had a issue for some time and more so customers who have had the "helpline" experience and have been passed pillar to post.  Being directed to another link comes across for me, as a bit "helpline".  I feel at this point, many would want some 1 to 1  (therapy) and they are being listened too with regards to there broadband issue. 
    I've seen users irate very recently, just by a simple request of hub stats posted by copy & paste.  We all do it, however it can come across, corporate avoidance (helpline).  At times I have PM,  something similar with regards to our end responsibilities, depending how I believe, they are presenting themselves on the forum

  • Please Read this ! USB Sound Blaster 24-Bit External : The Story of the endless problem

    In order to keep the good behavior here (I`m really pissed off !) I just?want to tell you something (this is ESPECIALLY for all the guys from the stuff)?Before 2 days I`ve decided to buy a new sound system for my room. I bought myself Creative Inspire t600 5. surround system. Cool. I was very happy. I?needed only to buy a sound card?working with 5. because I have a notebook DELL INSPIRON 50 who has only 2 canals. So in order to be everything beautiful I gave $70 for Usb sound blaster 24-Bit external. And from that time the problems began. In short :? I was using Vista but I found out that it wont work with this soundcard. The first problem : Didn`t identify the device. I tried with several drivers... Nope. No sound card with Vista.(This problem seems to appearance with many owners like me)?I pluged the usb soundcard in my old pc running XP and it worked . PERFECTLY. So I removed Vista from my notebook and intalled XP. This took me whole day to rebuild all my software. Finally it left to set up the sound drivers. The cherry of the icecream. Aaaaand ..... **bleep**. When I play?any track it CRACKLES. Again problem appearanced with many here. I tried to find out here what is the problem but unfortunately as u can see my english is quite bad?so I cant understand?what I need.I really like Creative but if they cant manage this problem I will?no longer buy their stuffs??JUST PLEASE SOMEBODY ANSWER ME IS THERE ANY SOLUTION FOR THIS OR NOT. I JUST WANT STRAIGHT ANSWERPS : Please do not delete my post. I know there are plenty like this. I dont want this crackles

    Hey Guys, I just wanted to share something with all of you, this forum does not get enough attention from the people who already know how to use the full strength of Java3D, and since there are so many unanswered questions here, and I'm sure most of them are solved by the authors them selfs, please do waste 5 min of your valuable time and post what you find as the best way to solve your problem, because we are here to help others as well, so please do.
    and if any of the admins would please write this in nicer words and put it as a sticky or constant thread that would always stay first in the threads list, that would be great and most probably benefit us all.

Please just make the "Viewmymessage" template to something like www.viewmymessage.com/?MSGID=q21xddmfs&Pass=asdwsdf3 -- Even if it just fills the form fields on the viewmymessage.com site. ANYTHING would be better then trying to remember the most cryptic message id and password ever!

  • ATTENTION ALL 27" iMAC OWNERS: PLEASE READ THIS THREAD

    Hello. Firstly, apologies for the attention-grabbing title, but ultimately I need as many people to test this out as I possibly can.
    Here's a basic run down of my problem: if I leave a window open on my display for about 10 mins, and then minimise it, and bring up a dark grey background such as iPhoto, Spotify, or a set desktop flat colour of dark grey, I can still see the text and display pictures semi-burnt into my screen, temporarily. They do fade after a while, but it is still annoying that it does this (I am a graphic designer, so I could potentially be working with dark images, and I don't fancy seeing my facebook messages over the top of my work).
    I had this issue with the iMac which I purchased last Thursday, and I returned it to Stormfront (my local Apple Authorised Reseller) and they acknowledged the issue and gave me a completely new iMac. However, yet again, this computer has the exact same issue, which makes me think it may be an issue with quite a few of the 27" iMac's.
    Therefore, I would like to ask if you, as the owner of a 27" iMac have a few spare minutes so that you can help me find out if this is a rare issue and I've just been unlucky, or if it's a wider issue with several iMac's.
    Please follow the step by step guide I have created below: the burn-in effect image is not a screenshot, however I have recreated the effect on Photoshop so you know what to look for. Thank you in advance for reading this, and helping me out; please let me know what results you get from this test.
    I am especially interested in users of the current Thunderbolt 27" iMac, with the high-end spec (3.1 GHz Intel Quad Core i5/4GB RAM/1TB HDD/Radeon HD 6970M HD). Please, if you own a different model also carry out these tests - your screen may have the same issue.
    Step 1: Change your desktop background to a dark grey colour. Go to System Preferences > Desktop and Screensaver > Desktop > Apple/Solid Colours > Cutom Colour... > Using the greyscale slider under the second colour picker tab, enter a value of around 15%. Set this as your desktop.
    Step 2: Open a white-backgrounded application. Position it somewhere on your screen (preferably the left as this is where I experience it at it's worst), and leave the application there for around 10 minutes.
    Step 3: Once 10 minutes is up, minimise the window, and study the area where the window was. If you have this issue, you will still be able to make out the elements from the open window (in my case, my Twitter followees display pictures and tweets). Here is a mocked up version of how it appears, created in Photoshop. As the issue is hardware related (I think), it doesn't appear in screenshots.     Step 4: Please let me know the result, and the specs of your computer. I am contemplating phoning Apple to make them aware of this issue, but wanted to see if it's just me before deciding it's a hardware issue.
    For me, I think I'll wait until the next Lion update is released, in case it offers a graphics driver update. Otherwise, I guess this one will be going back too.

    What you are seeing is called Display Persistence.  All LCD displays have a certain amount.  Some less some more.  This includes models from the same build.  I have linked Apples response to what your seeing.  I did the setup you said and saw no persistence on mine.  If I had let it set longer I am sure it would have shown up.

    Hello HP,
    First let me introduce myself. My name is Trevor and I am a Computer Science major at Kettering University. If you are not familiar with Kettering University, it is a Co-op school which means every 3 months we rotate between a school term and a work term. This is a predominately Mechanical Engineering major run school with only a handful of any other majors, especially CS. We are currently ranked #19 in the nation for universities, #1 in Industrial Engineering and #2 in Mechanical Engineering.
    Now to my problem. I have NEVER had another printer besides HP. I have always loved the brand and it has always been reliable......until recently. In the past 6 months I have never had more problems with ANY single brand of ANY product. This goes from everything from socks to LCD TV'S.
    6 months ago when I had to move in to my dorm room for the first time I also bought a laptop that had Windows Vista installed all ready. The printer that I had at the time needed driver updates to work with Vista. I searched high and low until I found a thread on another site saying HP stopped updating this printer, which was fairly new, with new drivers. So, I had to buy a new printer because of your total lack of care and laziness. I bought a HP Photosmart C4680 and everything ran smooth for the 3 months of my school term. When the term was coming to a close I boxed up my printer and did not open it for the next 3 months of my work term. This printer sat in my basement and was not touched or even looked at.
    My HP Photosmart C4680 could not possibly be broken! It has not been seen for 3 months! Oh no, it can be. I move back into my dorm room a couple of days ago and low and behold my printer no longer moves paper. The wheels that feed the printer are frozen solid and make my printer a useless piece of metal. I can see that HP has taken the ENTIRE Photosmart C Series off of their email support, this shows that you know this printer is trash and you were overwhelmed with emails.
    Don't worry HP, this is not the end of my troubles. At my home I also have an HP Photosmart All in one C4680. I mean, it worked fine when I bought my dorm printer and I need one for the house, so why not buy the same model but All In One right? WRONG. This thing is BY FAR more frustrating than my non all in one printer. You CAN NOT print with this printer unless you clean the cartridges first. After a month you could not print at all, you would only print blank pages. So, I call you guys and what do you tell me? Sucks man, buy another printer. So, I do this. The same one in fact, when it worked it worked perfect. It just had to be a malfunction with that printer right? WRONG. Guess what this next sentence is going to say? It did the SAME EXACT THING. I don't understand how you can produce a printer that does not print. You will type a paper and you will print maybe one or two letters.
    HP, there is more. Two people in my dorm bought to different models of HP Laptops. But, somehow the ethernet ports in BOTH models simply do not work. I mean, who needs ethernet ports right? One of them recently bought an Acer thanks to me. As I said in my first paragraph this is a prominently Mechanical Engineering major run school so they are going to trust what a Computer Science major tells them to buy.
    In conclusion, I will never buy ANY HP product ever again in my lifetime. Your company reminds me of GM. I have grown up in Flint, MI all my life so I know the signs of a company tanking. You start out making excellent products and lead the industry with them. Then slowly, with lack of care, quality, and pure laziness you tank. Your long time customers come to you with complaints but you simply DELETE the email section for the problem because again....Lack of care.
    This is more of a warning message to your entire company.
