Fix custom cost in the billing document.

The client wants to add a fix custom cost for some of their customers in the invoice. Normally in the SAP system one delivery document and one invoice is created per purchase order number of the customer entered in sales order. Purchase order number is a splitting criteria. But several sales order items can be shipped at once . In the system for 5 different sales orders of the same customer 5 different delivery documents and 5 different invoices are created but they want to combine them and print one invoice and in the invoice they want to include the fix custom cost for the specific customer. Now they combine several sales orders of the same customer in one delivery note and invoice manually in excel without printing from SAP. How can they add fix price in the invoice and combine these 5 different invoices in one invoice when printing?

In the system for 5 different sales orders of the same
  customer 5 different delivery documents and 5 different

Go to copy control VTFL, select your delivery type and billing type and click on magnifying lens on top left.  There maintain as follows:-
Copying requirements:::::: 003
Determ.export data::::::::::blank
Assignment Number::::::::blank
Next select your item category there and maintain the following routines
Copying requirements:::::004
Data VBRK/VBRP::::::::::007
Apart from the above, while combining 5 deliveries to one invoice, you should also ensure that following are unique in all preceding documents
a)  Payer
b)  Inco Term
c)  Payment Term
d)  Account Assignment Group
e)  Actual GI Date
f)   Billing Date
g)  Exchange Rate in case of exports
How can they add fix price in the invoice
Go to V/06, create a header condition type without any access sequence.  While creating billing, key in manually this condition type and value.

    As Copper price is always changes in some cases client want to charge more or less the difference amount at the time of creating the invoice. The sales order may partially delivered and billed. In this case also client want to change the price.
    How can we incorporate the change of copper price in the billing document as i cannot run the costing once again in the sales order for the balanced quantity, and client want this calculation to be done by system itself during billing.And SAP has not given any provision to run the costing during billing document.
    Kinldy suggest how to proceed further.

    My client belong to cable industry, so copper becomes the major rawmaterial which changes daily.
    So, sometimes based on the customer request if the invoicing is done after 3 months from the date of sales order
    then we  need to update the price at the time of invoicing.
    In sales order we are running the costing and using the variant configuration Module in th project.
    And after production at the time of invoicing client is asking to put the changed prices (Ex. Copper, GI Wire and PVC component) for which prices will be announced by the LME.
    So, kindly suggest me how to re run the costing in the billing or is there any alternative to define separate condition types for Copper, GI Wire etc.

  • Hiding the cost column in Billing document

    Hi,
    We have a requirement to hide the COST column in transaction VF01, VF02; VF03.Please let me know if any body has any clues.
    In the current system there are two companies.
    Company 1 Users should not see cost; Company 2 Users has to see the cost.
    I have two options:
    Option One:
    We can hide the cost column by changing the screen variant.
    Impact:
    This is hiding total system so that both the users can not see the cost .
    This is not accepting by IT team.
    Option two:
    We can define new transaction copy of VF01, VF02, and VF03. (Transaction Variant)
    That will be ZVF01, ZVF02, and ZVF03.For this new transaction we can create a screen variant to hide the cost Authorization to assess of VF01, VF02 and VF03 will be removed to Company 1 users.
    Impact:
    If we remove the authorization to VF03 to customer service people.
    Through document flow customer service user cannot see billing document. They need to enter ZVF03 to see billing document.
    This solution is not accepting by Business (Customer service).
    It will be great full if someone can through some light on this.

  • Shipment cost condition not copied in the billing document

    I have created shipment for the delivery and compelted the shipment cost as well , however when i create the billing document the shipment cost conditions are not copied in to the billing document.
    i have already set up pricing source as F in copy control from Delivery to billing document ,
    what are the other settings to be done to copy the shipment cost condition types to billing document  ?

  • While releasing the billing document error

    Dear TEAM,
    While releasing the billing document system was showing the message like NO STANDARD COST ESTIMATE COULDBE FOUND FORTHE MATERIAL.
    I have suggested to the user to release the price through ck24.At that time system is showing the message like cost has not been created for the inhouse production.
    The samething was tested in Qualiy server and the transaction was through.I have not done any price release for the samematerial.I have checked the table under VBAP the documents was made against to the samematerial.That time we have not faced any issues like this.
    Note:Material ledger concept using by client.
    Please kindly advice how to proceed further.

    have you checked in ck13n if there is a standard cost estimate for the material and what status it has, if there is one? Also, what are the dates in that cost estimate? How do they compare to the date of the billing document? What does the customizing say about the selection of cost estimates for valuation of SD documents? SPRO>Controlling>profitability analysis>master data->valuation-->Set up valuation using material cost estimates

  • Error in the Billing Document

    I am working on a CRM IPM project for a music company. I have a problem while maintaining the OR billing documents. The billing documents are not getting transferred to Accounting. The error code reads as "Maintain entry in the field "Business place" and "Section Code". But, I could not find these fields in the CRM. Please share any info that could solve this issue.

    "Business Place" and "Section Code" are fields in the Accounting Document Segment in R/3, for the Account Payable/Receivable line.
    --> Technically: Table is BSEG, fields are BSEG-BUPLA and BSEG-SECCO respectively.
    Especially "Business Place" sounds like a specific field of IS-Media Solution.
    First of all, you should investigate on WHY these 2 fields are mandatory in R/3 system: I'm working in a IPM system with a R/3 IS-Media backend, and I have not this problem. with these 2 fields.
    After that, you should determine a RULE to give a value to these fields (a FI Business Analyst for the R/3 backend system could help you), and then implement a code in IPM to value these fields.
    To do that, I thinks you should develop a new implemetation of BAdI BILL_ACC_IF; the method you should develop is ENRICH_ACC_DOCUMENT, and the code could be something like that:

    I think you could start with a technical test, assigning fixed values to fields:
    --> See Table J_1BBRANCH in R/3 for possible values of Business Place

  • Error while releasing the billing document to accounting

    Dear All,
    I need your favor to resolve the below issue:
    (System SAP SAP ECC 6.0)
    User is getting the below error message while releasing the billing document to accounting in VF02:
    This is an inter-company billing document (B. type : IV) created in company code 0151. Payer is "IC0186", verified the customer has been setup in 151.
    Corresponding invoice has been successfully posted in company code 0186. (Partner : P0151)
    User is able to post the inter-company document in 0151 using other inter- company partner (ex. IC0183). Therefore, seems that Document type can't be an issue here.

    Diagnosis
    The number of the affiliated company must be clear for the selected document type for all the line items. In this case at least two different companies or a company in connection with a business partner who does not belong to a company are stated.
    Procedure
    If you selected the correct accounts, you must enter the document with a document type that allows cross-company posting. Otherwise, please correct the entered account."
    Could anyone please suggest what can be the reason, if any configuration is missing. Any help is this regard will be highly appreciated

    Thanks for the prompt input, however as mentioned document type can't be an issue. Since user is able to post the document (same document type) using other inter-company partner in 0151.

    Hello Anil.Sap321,
    Your problem has to do with ACCOUNT DETERMINATION.
    Step 1: Check which account determination procedure is assigned to your billing type i.e. SPRO>SD>Basic Functions> Account Assignment/Costing>Revenue Account Determination>Define and Assign Account Determination
    HINT: normally, this is KOFI00 in standard sap
    Step 2: Check the Condition Types in your account determination in the control data in the same path as in step 1 for the Definition (e.g. KOFI, KOFK)
    Step 3: Check your accesses e.g. for KOFI (this should correspond to your VKOA tables).  Here, you can see the sequence in which your accounts are determined. Plus, at field level you can see where the data are taken from and then you can check your master data etc. during troubleshooting.
    Step 4: Identify in which combination your G/L should be in and you or your FI counterpart should configure the G/L in the designated VKOA table (transaction VKOA).
    TIP: To know which G/L account you need to input, you need the help of Financial guys as different companies have their different set of G/Ls or Chart of Accounts.
    Step 5: When this is configured in your VKOA, you can re-test.  Look at your Revenue Account determination analysis to see if your "access" in which you made your VKOA entry is successfully read during account determination.  
    NOTE: The G/L you or your FI contact have configured must exist in the Company Code involved in your accounting process.

  • After cancelling the  billing document accounting document not generated

    we released the billing and accounting document generated but customer needed changes in the billing values so we cancel the billing document but accounting document not generated(reversal accounting not happen)....in document flow it shows in cancel document in blocking state ....we try to release in VF02 but it throws the error "Client 200 does not contain an active application area" . but the other sales order we test in qulaity server the scenorio is working fine...............for specific one sales order creating problem now.....

    Dear all,
    I have noticed this problem in my company system.
    Problem descripion:
    - you creates an invoice and the system doesn't post it for any reason
    - then you create the cancel of the invoice, BEFORE forcing the posting of the invoice
    --> user creates Cancel, Cancel is not posted as well.
    --> from now it is impossible to post both invoices: if you try to post the Invoice after the cancel creation, the VF02 recongnise that a CANCEL exists and do not allow for the posting
    --> standard VFX3 doesn't signal this kind of not posted documents situation.
    Ok, The right procedure for thes user should be: create invoice, if not posted then try to understand why not posted, and not CANCEL it.
    But in this case VFK3 was not able to detect the invoice was not posted: it was not in the list.
    So the 2 ways must be:
    1) one possibility could be undestand in VFX3 could be enhanced: I checked in OSS but I didn't find anything.
    2) other possibility: add a further check in interface between SD and FI in order to check if original invoice is not posted to FI  and in this case block the cancel creation, as instead standard SAP does.
    Could you please give me an idea on how it would be better proceed?

    My requirement is I need to get the cost center value in accounting document ( FB03)
    Actually a contract is getting created and a billing document is generated and saved.
    There is no cost center in contract creation screen (VA41)but it is visible in billing document(vf01)  in grey mode.
    Now my requiremnt is based on contract type ,distribution channel, sales org. and division I need to pick the cost center and should get display the value in accounting document(fb03).
    For this do I need to go for user exit ? If yes then where should I write it ?
    In Contract creation screen(VA41) or in the billing document screen? and plz guide me the program name and User exit,
    or is there any other solution for this?

    I think you have to try from the Txn VF01 and the below are the BAdi and method details
    Check the BAdi SD_CIN_LV60AU02 in the method EXCISE_INVOICE_CREATE check the importing parameter of the method

  • Cost column in billing document is zero

    When i am doing billing, the cost column in the billing document screen is coming as zero. but the accounting documents are getting generated. Please help

    While creating billing document, we can see the cost center in one of the columns; not the cost. The cost is shown in the conditions; the condition type VPRS refers the cost of the line item.
    The cost under the condition type VPRS will not affect the accounting document of the billing. The cost here is used to calculate Profit margin. Note the condition type VPRS is given as statistics.
    The net value shown in the billing document is different from the cost of the line item.

  • Custom Automatic Release for Billing Documents

    Dear SAP Experts,
    I have a requirement to make an automatic release after billing document has been created under our custom condition. I could not remove POSTING BLOCK option in VOFA since only some conditions could make these billing documents will automatically released.
    Through the following thread (http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2018810) says that it is posible to create the billing document and change manually the option to "automatic released" in the header but I still could not find how to do that.
    Could you please advice me, is there any user exit that is possible to put our condition and make auto release of billing document? or at least how to create billing document manually via VF01 and change the option not to block payment?

    Hi JP,
    As I mention before, only in certain condtion the billing doc will automatically released so it is not always automatically released, that is why I could not turn-off POSTING BLOCK indicator in VOFA.
    I finally found exit (USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK) that I could use to change the billing doc indicator for automatically released although it is not satisfied me 100% since this exit has been run twice (before and after save) and one of my auto release is to compare the net value in the header (before save, net value in header is still 0).

    I have a question about Creidt data exchange rate, I created sales order and when I tried to generate the invoice, it was split into 2 billing document and the reason in split analysis is "Credit data exchange rate at billing document", I want to ask where can I find the credit data exchange rate at the billing document?
    And where can I find that this is one of the criteria to trigger the billing split?

    Hello, this field is for the exchange rate between local currency & local currency 2, there must be someplace to set up it, do you know where is that place?
    As now the invoice split show the data with the exchange rate which is weird. And i don't know how to fix it so that the invoice will not be split anymore..

    Hello SAP Experts,
    I have a customer requirement to determine the "pricing exchange rate" as "C Exchange rate determination according
    to Billing date" in Billing documents ONLY for specific Sales Org and customer Country and NOT for ALL sales orgs.. This field is present in the Item level copy control setting.
    This will ensure Exchange rate will be based on "Billing date" and NOT from date copied from Sales order for that specific Sales org.
    Can I write this validation in the Billing document User-exit -RV60AFZC to achieve this functionality? Or there would be some Configuation required?
    If anyone has worked upon this kind of requirement or know the method to achieve this, can you please help me?

    In that case, you can try with  USEREXIT_FILL_VBRK_VBRP.  Alternatively, you can also add this logic to your existing routine assigned in Delivery to Billing copy control against the field "Data VBRK/VBRP".  Similarly, for all such copy controls as you mentioned.
