Fix position for image viewer

I have created a php page, and inserted the imageviewer flash
object. When one first visits the page, everything looks fine, but
if you reload the page, the imageviewer images float off to the
right, so that only a small portion of each image is visible. How
do I keep the images centered? This web page <
http://www.amazingbraids.net/upload>
is the second one I am experiencing this problem with, and the
problem is much worse in thiss page than in my html page <
http://www.hivaidszimbabwe.com>.
PLEASE HELP!
ps, when I clear my broswer cache, the images come back
re-centered when I load the pages again, but upon subsequent
reloads, the images drift off to the right again.

  • Ie code fix for image viewer?

    I'm wondering if anyone knows how to deal with ie's treatment
    of image viewer parameters set in dw. When I configure image viewer
    to display slides so that they are perfectly displayed in safari
    and mozilla, they display off center, and sometimes the slides are
    different sizes, in ie. Anyone run into this problem or know of a
    solution?

    Ye the code you provided is html and should go in the html source code.  When you created your site did you place a universal selector *, this helps keep everything in place.  It dose the same job as the wrapper div but on the outside.  Did you go and view the Dreamweaver Tutorials at my website here is the link http://www.helpvid.net just go to tutorials then dreamweaver tutorials, if you follow along to them in developing your site everything should be fine as everything is explained.  Its hard for me to give advice when I dont know how you created your site.  Things you do at the begining can have a big effect later in the development.

  • Bridge as Image Viewer

    Is it possible to use Bridge as a general image viewer? Can I make it, in Windows-speak, the default image viewer for various types of image formats? If I cannot now, I would like to recommend this capability. Often now I find myself needing to view one or two images, quickly, but lack a viewer which (gulp, quickly) displays Zip compressed TIFs for instance. If Bridge is going to find a place on my application tray, I'd like it to do some general duty lifting. Thanks

    Why not just start the bridge as a seperate program whenever you are browsing files? I do this from my mac. I have added the program to my dock for quick access and whenever I am browsing for images of any sort, I start it up (most of the time, I just keep it open).
    The Bridge has Slideshow capabilities (which I discovered many people are completely unaware of). Just press Ctrl+L or Command+L. The controls can be a little tricky, but overall, once you have them down, this is a very powerful tool. I know for me, this beautiful new feature has made things so much easier around here....client comes in and is photographed, we watch back the show and rank images as it goes along and then I use the filtering options in the Bridge to show them the images they liked and then we go from there. I no longer use any other applications for image viewing or automation of any kind. With the Bridge, the reasons for doing so are simply mute.

  • How do I show file size in the Finder icon view for images?

    How can I add the file size to the icon view "File Info" for images?
    I know how to get it to display the image size under View Options. In this mode it shows pixel dimensions for some images (not for svg or pdfs tho) and file size for some non-images (rar, zip, but not txt or plain text files).
    Is there some plist I can modify?

    Is anybody know best image viewer for Mac..?
    I like Windows Explorer Image view .. you just open one file and left and right will scroll though .. can do it in full screen too.
    I try a Photo+ and everything is ok, but again must select all pictures or folder to open many photos. I click to one photo in folder, Photo+ open only clicked photos

    Try this one... it's called Privcy
    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/privcy/id828281323?ls=1&mt=12
    Can easily navigate using cursor keys. What I like is that as you move past the last image it automatically shows the next folder or zip. Ideal for quickly looking at pictures.
    Also you can paint/airbrush pictures immediately...

  • When I have resized and saved an image in Photoshop (CS, version 8.0 for Mac) using image size, why is it so large when I open it in preview or another image viewer? Has it actually saved according to the size I specified?

    When I have resized and saved an image in Photoshop (CS, version 8.0 for Mac) using image size, why is it so large when I open it in preview or another image viewer? Has it actually saved according to the size I specified?

    You want to view the image at the Print Size, which represents the size that shows in the Image>Resize Dialog.
    View>Print Size
    Since screen resolution is almost always lower that the print resolution (somewhere between 72 and 96 usually), images will always look bigger on the screen, unless you view them at print size.
    (apple Retina displays have a much higher resolution than normal screens, closer to the average print size resolution)

    Hi Sumit,
    I have used the entity btadminh to create a model node.
    this i have used for a table view.
    initially, this i'm not using as cross component but with in the component.
    i can put this way:
    i have created a custom component with only one view(table view).
    this view has only one context node(model node).
    this model node shows the basic structure of the output i need.
    i have to populate this table view with values(which i'm fetching from backend tables).
    i can do this by value node but, at the next step i have to call a standard component from the order number.
    so, the concept of model node.
    basic doubt is, am i missing some steps while using bol entities/model nodes in my view?
    in the same process, i have one more issue:
    the getter methods, get_<fieldname> is not being triggered. i checked while debugging also.
    had i missed some coding, still the getter methods should be triggered(since the view and node creation is through wizard).
    need some pointers on this. pls revert back for any clarification on the above issues, if confusing.

  • Acrobat Reader - Use Fixed Resolution for Snapshot tool images setting

    Hello,
    We're currently running Acrobat Reader 9.x on our production Windows Vista SP2 Enterprise image and we're running Acrobat Reader X on our development Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit image.  I'm curious if there's a registry setting that sets the "Use fixed Resolution for Snapshop tool images" from 72dpi to 300 dpi.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Rob

    The per user settings are held in the following registry location:
    HKCU\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0\Selection
    There is a hexadecimal value named iSnapshotResolution which contains the resolution for the Snapshot Tool. Also a parameter called bUseFixedSnapshotResolution which needs to be set to 1 to switch the feature on or 0 to disable the feature.
    This is a per user setting but I believe Reader checks the per machine location
    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader 10.0\Selection
    Presumably you can put the same values into the HKLM section (it doesn't exist by default) so you will need to create the Selection key.
    Hope this makes sense.

  • Need a tip for an image viewer

    Hi guys i'm trying to make an Image Viewer app and i couldn't find a way to tell my main AS3 class which is the Image that opened the application.
    I already specified images in windows to "Open with" my Image Viewer, and indeed my application executes but, is there a way to register the path of the file that opened my application?
    So far i've only seen drag&drop implementations, and i imagine that your answer will be a negative but i'm trying to find a solution to this because it's the only problem that keeps me from replacing the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, so any tip, any idea, will be appreciated.

    Thanks mate!
    It is now possible to do it with AIR 1.5.1
    In case someone needs it, here's the code that does the magic (AS3.0)
    import flash.display.NativeWindow;
    import flash.desktop.NativeApplication;
    import flash.events.InvokeEvent;
    var fileLoader:Loader = new Loader();
    addChild(fileLoader);
    NativeApplication.nativeApplication.addEventListener(InvokeEvent.INVOKE, handleInitializationArgs);
    function handleInitializationArgs(event:InvokeEvent):void
        // get the application arguments from
        // the InvokeEvent object
       var args:Array = event.arguments as Array;
        // if arguments were provided to the application
        if (args.length)
            // of the arguments provided, assume the first
            // is of the associated file type
            var fileToOpen:String = String(args[0]);
            // load that argument as a url into the loader
            fileLoader.load(new URLRequest(fileToOpen));

  • When will the Ancestry Advanced Image Viewer be updated for V7

    After upgading to Firefox V7 the Ancestry Advanced Image Viewer extension was disabled. Do you know when it will be re-instated?

    Sorry, it is up to whoever created that Ancestry.com advanced image viewer to keep it up to date as Mozilla releases new versions of Firefox, not the other way around.
    BTW, you are 3 versions behind the current Firefox 8.0 version.

  • Spry menu and image viewer

    I am using a spry horizontal menu.
    Two problems I am trying to fix:
    1. The drop down menus shift to the right in IE7 on PC
    instead of coming up directly below the parent menu item.
    2. The drop down menus overlap an 'image viewer flash
    element' area and struggle to stay on top when the slide show is
    playing. Is there a way to make them drop down over the flash area
    or will that always conflict?
    I am very new to Dreamweaver--I stalled on switching over

    #comp_image {
    background-image: url(../images/signs.jpg);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    position: relative;
    height: 210px;
    width: 745px;
    Try making that rule like this -
    #comp_image {
    background-image: url(../images/signs.jpg);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    position: relative;
    height: 210px;
    width: 745px;
    overflow:hidden;
    Does that help?  I believe what's causing the gap is the top margin on the <h1> tag which will 'escape' the container.  By making the container a new block formatting context with the overflow style, you can prevent the margin from escaping.  Alternatively, just add this rule -
    #comp_image h1 {
    margin-top:0;

  • Image viewer in JFX

    Hey guys,
    I'm trying to build a simple image viewer in JFX. I'd like to show an image in a pane and be able to pan and zoom the image. Should be pretty simple but I'm running into trouble with the zoom aspect of it.
    I've tried quite a few options and the one that's gotten me closest is to use the ImageView's 'viewPort' (to achieve panning) combined with it's 'scale' properties (to achieve zooming). The viewport works extremely well for panning, but when I then apply a scale it also scales the viewport bounds so zooming out reduces the viewing window and zooming in increases it. What I want is for my viewport to stay at a fixed size and for the image inside the viewport to be scaled. Is there any way to achieve this? Otherwise does anyone have any other ideas for getting the end result?
    Here's some stripped down code for basic viewing using the viewport and ImageView scaling.
    public class TestApp extends Application
        public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception
            launch(args);
        private ImageView imageView;
        private DoubleProperty x;
        private DoubleProperty y;
        private DoubleProperty zoom;
        public void start(Stage stage) throws Exception
            x = new SimpleDoubleProperty(0);
            y = new SimpleDoubleProperty(0);
            zoom = new SimpleDoubleProperty(1);
            BorderPane root = new BorderPane();
            root.setStyle("-fx-background-color: #555; -fx-padding: 10");
            // image area
            imageView = new ImageView();
            Image image = new Image("http://andeanbear.smugmug.com/Other/Colleens-Baby-Pictures/colleen9/87869346_DZLiQ-X3.jpg");
            imageView.setImage(image);
            imageView.setViewport(new Rectangle2D(0, 0, 600, 600));
            root.setCenter(imageView);
            InvalidationListener listener = new InvalidationListener()
                public void invalidated(Observable observable)
                    updateViewPortLocation();
            x.addListener(listener);
            y.addListener(listener);
            zoom.addListener(new InvalidationListener()
                public void invalidated(Observable observable)
                    double value = zoom.get();
                    imageView.setScaleX(value);
                    imageView.setScaleY(value);
            // control bar
            HBox controlBar = new HBox(4);
            controlBar.getChildren().add(createAdjustmentButton("Left", x, -10));
            controlBar.getChildren().add(createAdjustmentButton("Right", x,  10));
            controlBar.getChildren().add(createAdjustmentButton("Down", y, -10));
            controlBar.getChildren().add(createAdjustmentButton("Up", y,  10));
            controlBar.getChildren().add(createAdjustmentButton("+", zoom,   0.1));
            controlBar.getChildren().add(createAdjustmentButton("-", zoom,  -0.1));
            root.setTop(controlBar);
            updateViewPortLocation();
            Scene scene = new Scene(root, 1024, 768);
            stage.setScene(scene);
            stage.show();
        private Button createAdjustmentButton(String text, final DoubleProperty property, final double amount)
            Button button = new Button(text);
            button.setOnAction(new EventHandler<ActionEvent>()
                public void handle(ActionEvent event)
                    property.set(property.get() + amount);
            return button;
        private void updateViewPortLocation()
            imageView.setViewport(new Rectangle2D(x.get(), y.get(), 800, 600));
    }

    Hi Zonski,
    this is no trick. Actually I think it is quite natural and straight forward (from a mathematical point of view :-) ).
    With the fit width/height you are telling the image view what size your image should have when displayed. The image will then be scaled up or down to fit into this rectangle. In addition you should setPreserveRatio(true) so that the image is not distorted in case the width to height ratios don't match.
    Now with the viewport rectangle you just say that you do not want the whole image to be shown in the fit width/height rectangle but instead you specify a generally smaller portion of the image to be shown. The viewport just defines the bounds of a new image which is then automatically scaled to fit into the defined fit width/height rectangle.
    With this general mechanism you can now define all sorts of pans and zooms. You can also bind the fit width/height to the width/height of the image view so that the image is automatically resized to always fill the image view entirely. Or with some math you can define that the zoom center is always located at your mouse position (if you should implement a zooming via mouse-wheel)

    }plz help me regarding this concept

    I have learnt a technique when I am programming in flash.
    Assume you have a photo cat.jpg with 10 units in width and 10 units in height. You can have a view(viewport) 10 units in width and 10 units in height.
    The following shows the width of the photo:
    012345679
    To show an effect of panorama, you can draw 2 photo at any time. I assume the eyesight of a person move from left to right with 1 unit at a time.
    The original image is 0123456789.
    If the person move eyesight to right by one unit, the image become
    1234567890
    If the person move eyesight to right by one more unit, the image become
    2345678901
    You can program the by drawing 2 images at any time.
    0123456789(zero width for second image)
    123456789(0, 1 unit in width in second image)
    23456789(01, 2 unit in width in second image)
    To display part of image, try this link to a program to crop image
