Two problems - 1. How to add a link/url to a flash graphic - 2. How to loop only 3 times, mine keeps looping without stop but can't designate times.

One old man to another... I'll try to help, but it hasn't gotten all that technical yet, so you may have to bite down hard in any case.
For the graphic end of things, read the two following paragraphs before picking one to follow...
1) If the graphic is a graphic symbol that lives in the library, then you can convert it to a movieclip by changing its properties. Right click on it in the library and select Properties. In the interface that opens, change the checkbox to the MovieClip option. If you have the graphic on the stage already, click on it once to select it and then in the Properties panel, change it to be a MovieClip in the drop down selection by the <Instance Name> input. After that, give it an instance name in the <Instance Name> input... "graphic_mc" will be fine, but whatever you choose will be fine as long as it's one word, no spaces.
OR
2) If the graphic is not something that lives in the library as a symbol, right click on the graphic on the stage and select Convert to Symbol. In the interface that appears, enter a name for it (this will only be its name in the library). Then check the MovieClip Box and click OK. In the Properties panel, there is an input with a grayish label inside it saying <Instance Name>. With the new Movieclip selected on the stage, give it an instance name in that input... "graphic_mc" will be fine, but whatever you choose will be fine as long as it's one word, no spaces.
From this point forward, it will be less time consuming for me to create an example file for you. But to do that I will need to know what version of actionscript you are using so that I can provide the appropriate button code.

Aha! I have sorted it.
For those with similar problems, the solution is this:
Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > MIDI Drivers
Then delete DigiDioMidiDriver.plugin

When the Mac was setup you had to create an administrative password.and account. Yo have to sign into that account to install apps/plug-ins like Flash. To reset that password.

Actually, ignore that. I think the problem is you are using "java -jar xxx". This runs the JAR in encapsulated mode, which ignores any classpath setting.you mean using "java -jar xxx" cant let xxx visit a class that in another jar?

Troubles with the front camera and memory/cash

Hi, guys. I need your help. I was update my phone SE LWW to Android 4.0 one month ago. After that I have only two troubles:
1. I can't choose front camera at the camera app. Only video mode or photo.
2. I have troubles with operating memory. Once a week I turn off my device and unmount battery. After that I mount it back and turn on the phone and the memory is on very good level. But during the week it grow up more and more. For example, on Monday after this operation I have 54% busy, but on Fraday of Satuday it's usually 89-95%! And I try to clear it by GO Task Manager and I can't. I receive the message "It's a best status of device". It's awful/ Pls, help me fix this trouble.

1. After you have installed Android 4.0 you can find the front camera under the selection of the different photo mode's, such as Normal etc.
2. It's a wise thing your doing, turning off and on the phone. I'd recommend you to do it more often then once a week though for optimized user experience and "flow" in the phone's menus.

IMessage trouble with two iPhones and one Apple ID

I'm having trouble with iMessage after updating both of my iPhones to iOS 6 and not being able to use iMessage with one of the phones.
Some background:
-I have two iPhones, one on AT&T in the U.S., and one on NTT DoCoMo in Japan, both with separate phone numbers, using the same Apple ID.
-The AT&T iPhone is a 4, the NTT is an unlocked 4S.
On my 4 (AT&T), on iMessage, I have the option to send/receive as my U.S. phone number and my Apple ID. Works just like before updating.
On my 4S (NTT), on iMessage, before I updated, I was able to send/receive using my Japanese number and Apple ID. After updating, I have the option to send/receive using my U.S. number and Apple ID. My Japanese number is greyed out and I cannot select it. When I turn on iMessage, it says "Waiting for activation..." and does not do anything. Turning iMessage off and on, some times I get an error message staying that activation cannot be completed.
I have rebooted the phone multiple times, turned on/off iMessage and FaceTime, turned the Set Date & Time Automatically option on/off, and reset Network settings several times. Nothing works; iMessage will not activate on my NTT 4S. Please help!

Finally resolved this issue after months of off and on troubleshooting.
I have no idea exactly which steps "fixed" the issue, but here's what I did. None of the basic troubleshooting steps that are on here worked for me, and this is including restoring both phones in iTunes as a "last resort" step that two Apple technical service representatives suggested.
I found a post on here from user "tungddao" who suggested:
"Turn on iMessage then make a phone call to : 011+445773142076
With Facetime & Siri: 011+447786205094"
I called both numbers with my NTT 4S, and both numbers hung up right away. I also texted both numbers, and the FaceTime one went through, while the iMessage number did not. I then checked my SMS blocking settings with NTT. There were no blocks, but I reset the settings to "unblock all" anyway.
I was able to activate iMessage and FaceTime with my Apple ID and my NTT phone number. Halfway there.
I then turned on my ATT 4, and while I could send/receive using my Apple ID and NTT phone number, the ATT number was greyed out, which was the opposite of what had happened before, when I could use the ATT number, but not the NTT one. On my NTT 4S, I could select my ATT number, but it was stuck on "verifying" for days, and I knew it wouldn't go through.
So, I signed out of my Apple ID on iMessage and FaceTime on my ATT 4, and turned both services off. I turned on data roaming, and turned off WiFi. *This step was key to activating both services, as they would not activate over WiFi for some reason.
I turned on iMessage and FaceTime without signing in to my Apple ID just yet. They both activated successfully, and then I signed into my Apple ID on both services, and from then on, I can use both numbers and my Apple ID on both phones! Finally!
These are my current options:
Phone 1 (4S on NTT): Phone 1's #, Phone 2's #, Apple ID
Phone 2 (4 on ATT, roaming here in Japan on Softbank): Phone 2's #, Phone 1's #, Apple ID
Hope this helps someone out there, as this issue was real frustrating for me.

CF Licensing on two front end web servers

I'm currently running CF 9 Standard on a since server that runs as my web and db server. I use Rackspace Cloud btw.
I've been thinking about changing my infrustructure around so it would look like this:
- 1 Load Balancer
- 2 Web Servers
- 1 Database Server
My question is about licensing on the 2 web servers.
- Is it possible to use a single CF Standard license to cover both web servers (since they are just syncing each other, they are basically the same server but split into two separate virtual machines), or would I need to purchase 2 individual licenses to make this work?

Flash player trouble in firefox and safari

Hi,
i hope no one has opened a threat with this question. i did search for it but did not find any. if someone opened a threat like this please post a link here.
i got audio trouble with flash player.
flash player plays video proberly but it does not play any sound.
this occured after the last safari update.
i use a M-Audio interface (Firewire 1814) with a 2,5" HD (80GB) mounted on the 2nd firewire port of the audio-interface.
although all other application got no sound problems, this problem remains with flash content.
hope someone got an idea.

Adobe FlashPlayer should first be uninstalled using the appropriate uninstaller available here: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157&sliceId=2 and then the latest version obtained from here: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1ProdVersion=ShockwaveFlash and installed.
(You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS.
In earlier versions than QT 7.1.3 in Quicktime Preferences, under advanced, UNcheck Enable Flash, and under Mime settings/Miscellananeous only check Quicktime HTML (QHTM).

If we use Border Layout, the Panels which are added to the main panel are not displaying properly.
Solution is to use BoxLayout with AXIS parameter. Statement looks like this:
mainPanel.setLayout(new BoxLayout(mainPanel, BoxLayout(PAGE_AXIS));

FlASH DRIVE RECOGNIZED BY TWO OF THREE COMPUTERS

Have a new Transcend flash drive. I have three computers: 1 with Windows X and two with Windows 8. The one with Windows X and one of the ones with Windows 8 (a notebook) recognizes the flash drive. But the towers desktop with Windows 8
does not. What to do? (The computer that will not recognize this flash drive recognized everything else, including other flash drives.)

Answers to the questions by Olaf: I tried other USB ports. No different! No, the SSD does not show up in the Device Manager or the Disk Management Console. No, Windows does not attempt to install a driver! No, there is no security
suite installed with that configuration!
I have decided that the best answer is to take the damn SSD and either throw it away or use it in other computers only, where it works just fine. (PS. I bought two more SSD's on sale. They, work just fine in all three computers.)

Flash install trouble on Mac 10.8.3 with Safari

I am having trouble with the latest Flash update. I go to install it and half way through the install it tells me that I need to close my Safari browser. But my browser is closed, not open. I even tried restarting my computer and trying again but I still got the same error message. What do I do?

Seriously ? no ideas ?
I did some more testing and Flash is really messed up with this computer. Chrome seems to work, but performance is not what it should be.
I went back to a 10.X version of flash with same effect. went back to Firefox 17 ...same effect.
It almost seems like hardware...however Chrome works..
When in Safari or Firefox. Right click brings up Flash settings..but I am unable to select anything in the panel.. cant click off hardware accleration..i cant even close the panel. (on chrome i can select all settings) Video flickers constantly in Safari.. wont play at all in Firefox.

Create back-to-back magazine in CS6 - two front covers?

This is my first post here - I had a look round the forum and couldn't see anything relating to this so here goes:
I'm creating a school magazine in CS6 which has two main types of content: school news and student generated content. I would like both these sections have a front page, so I think a back-to-back magazine (not sure is there is a specific term) where both covers become front covers (but upside down in relation to each other) is the best way forward.
So - I wondered if anyone else has used Indesign for this type of document - are there any pitfalls/heads-ups I need to know about, and I should set the document up in a particular way?
Also, I've been using master pages to add in page numbers, and I wondered if there is a master page workaround for two sets of page numbering - both working towards the middle from each cover? Or would a simpler option be to rotate the pages once they're finished and add the page numbers in manually?

This gets discussed from time to time here, generally in the context of books in two languages, and yes, there are pitfalls. to be truly back to back, not only do you need to rotate the back cover, but all of the pages for the second version, and they need to be in reverse order, You also need to decide if they will interleave (so there will be a right-side-up and an upside-down page on each spread), or if you wan t it set up so you can thear the magazine in half down the spine and have two separate but complete magazines.
The answer to the last part will help determine the easiest way to get the layout you need, but it's usually easiest to start out with two separate files and combine them in some way at the end.

Dynamic Flash Menu Trouble

I have spent way too long building a dynamic drop-down Flash
menu. Now it is time to publish but if I use wmode to remove the bg
my mouse events get all screwed up, plus from what I have read on
the forums I really don't want to use wmode if I can help it. Is
there any workaround here? The menu works great with the default
background covering up half of my web page but this is not a
workable solution from a design standpoint.
I am really hoping I did not just waste sooooo much time. Any
help is greatly appreciated.

The idea is to nest the embedding swf file into two divs.
Then give it a z-index. At the bottom of the page that explains it
at merhl.com is a script to put it onto a different z-index. This
may help.

I need a flash project that has two video's overlaid on each other with masks on each at 50%

I'm pretty new to Flash and need to have two video's layered on top of each other with masks that mask off 50% of each side so I have a Side-By-
Side comparison of the two video streams. I have encoded two videos with different settings and want to show a side-by-side comparison. Does anyone have a sample project or code that does this? I need a kick start.
