Flash banner appears well before rest of page when loading

When my page first opens my flash banner appears a few seconds before the rest of the page. Is there a way to have it open together with the rest of the page or is it something I have to live with? I suspect that it's just the way it is, but I wanted to ask anyway.

For the most part this is likely something you will just have to live with. Load speed is determined by forces outside of our control, for the most part.
Though, if you are using javascript to embed the SWF, you may move the embed call to the bottom of the page to make it the last thing that loads. That might help out a little bit.

Screen briefly flashes white but does not display the page when the Safari icon or other icons are tapped.

A problem has just started with my IPAD Air after 3 months of use.
If I try to open Safari by tapping on the icon the screen briefly flashes white but does not display the page.
Similarly if I try to open Settings page, Mail page, Calendar or Clock the screen just briefly flashes but the Apps do not run.
Some of the Apps do work on tapping the icon e.g. Maps, iBooks, Appstore, iTunes, Newstand etc.
I do have some website links which display when the icon is tapped e.g. John Lewis but some links do not work.
I have ensured that the ipad is fully charged, powered it off an on again, and cleaned the screen with a lint free cloth but the
same problem keeps occurring.

I saume you used a second display at one time, otherwise the Display settings wouldn't be treating your primary display as a secondary.
IF you open your System Preferences>Displays (-System Preferences) and click "Gather Windows" it should pull everything to the display on which you clicked it.

Does anyone else have a glitch? When I click on the top button then slide it, I notice a flash on the screen before the main page shows up. Anyone know about this or seen it?

I have an Iphone4 from verizon. This is my 2nd and still has the same problem I am trying to figure out. To turn on the phone, I press the top button, and then I slide to unlock the phone, i notice a flash before it gets to the main screen. Its a little irritating and it only does it every so often. I dont know anyone else that has this problem. I took it to the apple store and they said it may be in between updates. So they gave me a brand new one for free. At first they said it was because I had a screen protector on the front but that wasnt it, so it remains a mystery. Any ideas?

When you say turn on the phone, do you mean just unlocking the phone to get to your home screen ( icons)?

JSP Page stops execution before the whole page is loaded

The problem is that it never gets finished off completely
I mean the page is always half loaded I mean it stops execution of the JSP Page in between and it shows no exception in the console Window
The page is not completely loaded
I don't know what is the reason and so can't understand the reason behind that

Though Still I am confused why is this Page Buffer creating a sort of Exception.
I mean it is just a limit that if page reaches to that limit it should send the data
to client but what is the problem to Server that it stops sending the dataAn error is happening on your page.
Basically whether or not you get an error screen depends upon when the error is generated. If the error happens before the buffer fills up, then it can cancel the output, and show the error page.
If the buffer has already been filled up/flushed it can't cancel the output at this point. So it just stops sending.
That explains why
1 - page output cuts off halfway through
2 - if you make a bigger buffer, it can display the exception page - because the error happens before the bigger buffer fills up.
Regardless of whether the buffer was flushed or not, an error message would always be written to the Tomcat logs - check those for any problems.

How do I get the newest page when loading a website? A website I looked at today is the same as it was earlier in the week, yet using my computer at work the same website has new information. How do I tweak my settings to download the newest page?

When downloading a favorite website my computer at home is opening what seems to be the page saved previously, and not the newest version.

Today, my Mac (w/Safari 4) gets the same error message: Safari can’t open the page Safari can’t open the page “feed:http://vibrationalvoyages/vibrationalvoyages.com/DivineLight_Vibrations_Principles_andApplications/rss.xml”. The error is: “The feed could not be loaded because the content is not in a known feed format.”
My little ASUS (with a Linux operating system) gets a screen that says "The requested URL was not found". The URL on that page is http://vibrationalvoyages./vibrationalvoyages.com/DivineLight_Vibrations_Principles_andApplications/rss.xml
On both error messages, the URL I was checking was:
http://www.vibrationalvoyages.com/DivineLight_Vibrations_Principles_and_Applications/Divine_Light_Vibrations_Principles_ andApplications.html
The last URL was, of course, the URL generated by iWeb.
So, my question still is:
HOW CAN I GET MY FEEDS TO WORK PROPERLY? If the problem is there shouldn't be an http:// after feed: then, how do I get iWeb to set it up properly?

Unwanted query execution before adding Find page restrictions

When the JHS (10.1.2.1.27) application I made is started, the whole table content is queried without restrictions BEFORE the Find page has loaded.
Because it's a fair amount of data, I get out of memory messages.
I have used 2 specific settings that are related to this:
1) Property "Use Table Range?" has been turned off
2) Query Bind Parameters are used
Looking in the log files I noticed the following:

It seems that the bind parameters get initialized in some kind of way at startup.
This is detected as a change in value apparently, after which the query execution is triggered.
So far so good. The problem is that my main query restriction is not related to any of the query bind parameters.
Because the Find page has not been loaded yet, this mandatory restriction has not been added to the searchBean yet and will therefore not be added to the view object's where clause.
The result is that all table records will be queried.
My question: Is there any way to prevent the query to be executed before the Find page has loaded?

Have you tried setting the group checkbox "Auto Query?" to unchecked? This should prevent the query from executing before the find page is loaded.

2 pages not loading on phone and tablet

Not all pages work on phone and tablet for my website... thegreatlifecookbook.com
The desktop layout correctly loads on the phone and tablet, but the buy now page and the cookbook page are blank.
No problems with the site on the computer.

It appears you created Tablet and Phone layouts in the Muse Plan mode, but never put any content on the pages, and then published. Thus when you visit your home page on a desktop device you get the desktop layout (which appears correct) but when you visit from a phone or tablet you get the Tablet or Phone layout from the Muse plan view. Those are blank.
You'll want to Page > Remove Alternate Layout for the Tablet and Phone layouts in Muse and re-publish, so your site is no longer re-directing to blank pages when loaded on a Tablet or Phone.
In the future if/when you create a complete Phone or Tablet layout and re-publish, your site visitors will automatically be directed to the layout appropriate to their device (and it won't be blank since you will have created a device specific alternate layout).

Firefox 8.0 loading MSN Homepage gives error 'problems loading page' every timebut the page eventually loads - Any solution?

Firefox 8.0 gives error message "problem loading page" when loading MSN homepage. This occurs every time.

I get an e-mail with go-comics and the ones I want to post links to I'll open in the browser as I read them in the e-mail so I regularly have a dozen tabs open (all the same site) by the time I'm through the e-mail. Every third or fourth page will hang up on something (connecting to or waiting for) sometimes not loading a single image, sometimes loading half the page, sometimes loading everything but the comic (because, hey, why put that as the first thing to load when you've got all these ads and crap to throw at your paying customers?).
At some point a couple of months ago I got some malware associated with trovisearch (I do not know how that got past security and java blocker but it did, probably some hidden crap in something from CNET) that somehow spoofed a page for Housecall and added five or six pieces of malware and adware. I cleaned for two days after and still can't find anything left on the computer even though I've been running scans constantly to try to make Firefox work right. I downloaded and ran a scan using Kaspersky during that time and then uninstalled it. That very well may be the cause of the post-refresh SSL issue.
I have Spybot and Malwarebytes scan logs from the time of the infection if that would help in any way. It doesn't look like there's a way to attach .xml files in this forum, though.
I can also run hijack this and copy and paste if that would help.
I'm currently running Windows Defender and rely on that and Noscript and adblocker plus to keep me isolated from most attacks (I don't have those add-ons re-installed yet). I also run Peerblock because they add malicious sites and known hacking sources (like Chinanet) to what they block as well as all the fake p2p stuff that's constantly pinging the computer. If I'm treading around in perilous waters I run Sandboxie.
Chrome is working as normal but Firefox feels like dial-up or worse right now and without adblocker I might as well be using IE.

Help with Flash Banner Opening on every page

Hey guys I been trying to optimize my site abit. I seen on
some new flash templates that when the flash banner opens the first
time the browser will not call it again when clicking on new page
links. I also seen the banner incorperated with an iframe so it
only calls it once.
Currently I have 6 .html pages each calling the flash banner
every time their clicked. This is taking loading time whenever a
user browses to a different page.

A 5.6MB file is way too big for a Flash movie to stream easily, even over DSL. Even 1 MB is pretty big for a Flash movie. A loading status indicator requires programming using the Flash authoring application.
The Flash export from keynote is probably not compressing the images a lot. Also the size of the presentation (800x600) is pretty large, and this is giving you a big file.
Try searching versiontracker.com for other slideshow tools with Flash export that will allow you to create a smaller canvas and compress your images more. But be aware that a series of bitmaps will always create a large Flash movie.

Installing Flash 11 appears successful but doesn't reveal movie on Adobe flash test page

My reaction to the latest email is that no one took the time to actually understand what I've already communicated.

I've performed the clean install including using Adobe's special uninstall utility and carefully hunting down and erasing all of the litter Flash Player leaves behind even after it's uninstalled.
The error messages shown above are the headaches I still have.

Problems zooming out with a Flash Banner

I have created a Flash banner for the home page of my website. Here is the link to the page I am working on: http://adirondackvic.org/CSSTest9July2012-2.html
When I zoom in to increase the size of the web page, the Flash banner rescales automatically. However, when I zoom out, to decrease the size of the web page, the Flash banner does not automatically rescale. It remains the same size and you have to hit the refresh button to get it to rescale to fit the newly resized page.
Is there a fix for this? I searched the forum and the web and have not found an answer. I put a question on this in another forum, but received no responses. I found some discussions of the issue on the web and on this forum, but I was not able to figure out how to incorporate the suggestions into my page. I tried changing the scale from exactfit to showall, as recommended, but that created a problem with the appearance of the page. (The banner no longer fit properly into the header window.) I also tried (as recommended by one of the entries in this forum) to change width="100%" height="100%" or width="100%" height="auto". This fixed the problem for Internet Explorer, but then the entire banner disappeared in Firefox.
Please help! I am at my wit's end.... Thank you. ellen

Using javascript to delay flash banner from loading

I have a website built in HTML with a small flash banner. My
problem is that the flash loads before the rest of the page loads.
Is there a way to delay the flash from loading using javascript
until the rest of the page has loaded?

Adobe Flash Player 10 often locks the page when ads are moving, only in the Firefox browser.

If I for example want to download from www.mediafire.com the page comes up, then the Adobe Flash Player 10 puts up a warning box (before the ads appear in the window) and tells about an Action-script Error:

Same thing here. I updated Flash to 10,2,153,1 installed and cannot load Flash apps like Facebook Scrabble using FF4.0
I reverted back to FF3.6.16 and it works fine.
