Flash chart error: scroller position should be positive and integer

Hi
I am periodically getting this error when running a flash chart.
It seems to be related to the amount of data that I am using.
Any Idea whats causing it and how to resolve it
Keith

This only happens when using custom xml. If I change it to use the built-in xml, I get a no data found message.
That happens even if i just reset the custom xml.

  • Chart Error - scroller positions should be positive and integer

    <p>
    Hello Expert
    I have created a flash chart with two filters on the chart region.
    i) &lsquo;Select list with submit' ----- (:P23_TRC)
    ii) &lsquo;Radio button with submit' -----(:P23_IMPACTC)
    The chart should display as per the filters selection.
    However, I get the error message "<strong>scroller positions should be positive and integer</strong>", once, whenever I load this chart page for the 1st time in a new IE window.
    After I change the filter's value it will work perfectly fine.
    In filters default value is one value from respective filter list of value
    </p>
    <p>
    If I remove the filter conditions from chart query, it works perfectly without error.

    Hi Rima,
    I found the solution,
    My graph is dependent on the page items. What I found was when I load the page, item default value was displayed but it was not stored in the memory. Item value only gets stored in memory when the page is submitted.
    Line: -----
    Soultion : - Create a page level before header process and define the default value over here as well. This will resolve your error.
    Hopefully you understood what I am trying to explain. If not let me know and I will trying to put in picture and email you.

  • Flash chart - Error - No chart data available

    Hi
    I have a Flash chart that shows the message "Error - No chart data available" (not the no data found message).
    If I run its query in sql*plus (using the same parameters) I get 4 rows (with url, label and value columns). I am clueless about how to start investigating this as the chart does not show any other information... Any advice?
    What does that message mean? Obviously is something different from no data found?
    Thanks
    Luis

    Hi Marco
    Thanks for the reply. I did what you said and found out the problem:
    chart Flash Chart error: ORA-20001: get_data error: ORA-20001: Fetch error: ORA-01843: not a valid monthThis was caused because I used the following construction:
    where date_from = :p5_date_fromIf this was a report, this would run fine as I set the date format mask using a application level process. However, as Flash charts use separate database connections, they ignore that setting (btw I posted a message about this problem).
    I fixed it hardcoding a format mask in my SQL. Not nice but it works!
    Thanks
    Luis

  • Asynchronous update of Flash chart error in IE

    I had a post a while ago about an update command for a flash chart:

    I just found out that the original time based flash update option creates the same error I get all the time. It can be configured under:
    Chart attributes > Refresh: Asynchronous Update = YES and Update Interval (Seconds) = 10
    Error: (line 49) (JScript - script block):
    function __flash__addCallback(instance, name) {
      instance[name] = function () {
        return eval(instance.CallFunction("<invoke name=\""+name+"\" returntype=\"javascript\">" + __flash__argumentsToXML(arguments,0) + "</invoke>"));
      }By the way I use the newest APEX version: "Application Express 3.2.1.00.10"
    Seems more like a general error? Everybody should be able to rebuild this under IE 8 or IE 7. I use IE8!
    Created source code:
    &lt;script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">
    function chart_r2258227549390282_InitRefresh(pNow) {
      setTimeout("chart_r2258227549390282_InitRefresh(true)",10000);
      if (pNow){apex_RefreshChart (1, '2258227549390282', 'de');}
    apex_SWFFormFix('c2258227549390282');
    &lt;/script>It still works well with Firefox.

    All of the Flash charts on a page started displaying the error "A Start-tag was not matched with an end-tag." The charts were all working prefectly and no changes were made to the page. Any thoughts?
    Thanks.

    Here is what I get when I click Show XML in debug mode. Thanks.

  • Flash Chart Error

    Hi
    Can anyone assit with this ...
    I get following error when using a 2 series 2d line chart with animation set to scale, in apex 3:
    "A Script in this movie is causing adobe flash player to run slowly. If it continues, your computer may become unresponsive."
    When I accept to debug, it breaks on this parameter as an undefined error:
    __flash__addCallback(c2741428313213918, "SetXMLText");
    Thanks
    Kezie

    Hi
    I upgraded my browser flash from v8 to v9 and tested again. The flash upgrade did not resolve the issues as the error still occurs.
    I did looked on the adobe site and found this link which sheds some light on why the error might occur: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_15512&sliceId=1
    I am not loading a large amount of data or displaying too many data points however, so I'm not sure about why I get this error.
    Any other pointers would be appreciated.
    I have pasted the XML below ...

  • "Column Width should be positive" error

    I have a flash chart that has a fairly simple query (whic works fine when run via SQLPLUS etc), that when I run via Apex I get "Column Width should be positive" errors. What does this mean, and how do I debug it?

    I realise that I have to have a chart query to generate the chart. The query (see below) runs perfectly fine in SQLPLUS, TOAD, SQL Developer etc, with no negative values returned.
    select null, to_char(targcompdate , 'RRRR-IW'), count(*)
    from work_tab
    where worktype = 'RO'
    and integ_priority in ('2','3','4')
    and comp_person = 'Structural'
    and targcompdate >= sysdate
    and status = 'APPR'
    group by to_char(targcompdate , 'RRRR-IW')
    order by to_char(targcompdate , 'RRRR-IW')

  • Error: Failed to restore data position

    We are running a report in the Crystal Reports Java runtime engine and receive the following:
    "Error
    Failed to restore data position, target: section = SectionCode;, printRecordNumber = 339, pageN = 2, result: section = SectionCode:, printRecordNumber = 399, pageN = 2"
    The report includes header with formulas and logos, 3 sub reports, and a cross tab.
    In case the cross tab has a small number of records and is printed in one page, there is no error. Once the cross tab has more records and requires another page to print, the error message is displayed.
    The report data contains tables and an SQL command, all from one database.
    This happens only on the runtime engine. When we run the report through Crystal Reports designer - no errors even if the cross tab requires 2 or more pages to print.
    System:
    Development: Crystal Reports designer 2008 SP3, ODBC, mySQL
    Runtime: Java runtime engine (latest release from SAP's web site), JDBC, mySQL
    Thanks,
    Ori

    Ori,
    If the report runs in the CR design interface there isn't a CR issue. You should have better luck getting an answer to your question is you post it in the [Java - SAP Crystal Reports|SAP Crystal Reports, version for Eclipse; forum.
    Also, take a look at this thread in regards to mixing commands and linked tables... [Multiple "command" connections to the database. Linking + Performance|Re: Multiple "command" connections to the database.  Linking + Performance].

    Hi Sa'ad
    Its been a little while since I used Web Analysis but I remember that there are issues if you have more than 1 dimension in rows or columns. What I cannot remember is whether it automatically shifts a dimension to the page or whether as you suggest it just doesn't display.
    Pie charts can only display data from two dimensions (1 rows, 1 columns), you can filter using dimensions on pages. If that doesn't give you what you need then I'm afraid you need to stick to a different chart type.
    Hope this helps

  • CreateInsert puts table scroll at the top position

    Hi all,
    I've found a strange behaviour with ADF Tables with editingMode="editAll":
    Clicking the CreateInsert button always puts the table scroll at the top position, which is really annoying. Does anyone know how to solve it?
    Thanks in advance
    Barbara
    Version
    ADF Business Components 11.1.1.56.60
    Java(TM) Platform 1.6.0_18
    Oracle IDE 11.1.1.3.37.56.60

    In my case, rows don't have to be added as the last in the table, just next to the current row. Anyway, your link gave me a clue: use displayRow="selected" in af:table instead of the default value (displayRow="first") turns the selected row always visible, which is exactly what I wanted : )
    Thanks, Shay!

  • How can I should the position number in sequence via ppom_old or ppome

    Our user creates the position number via ppom_old and get the position number from this screen.  The position number has been shown on sequence.   However, something seems collapse.  Do you guys know how I can show insequence again?

    It is based on Priority (Edit-> Priorirty)
    Use
    Sequence Priority of Objects
         The Priority  field is optional. It is used to determine the sequence in
         which objects are presented in Simple Maintenance and Structural
         Graphics.
    When multiple objects are located on the same hierarchical level of a
         structure, these must be ordered in a specific sequence from left to
         right (or from top to bottom).
    This is done by assigning alphanumeric priority values, where the value
         1 is the highest (far left or top) and 99 the lowest priority (far right
         or bottom).
    If you specify no priority, the system places objects according to their
         object IDs.
    Priority When Defining Evaluation Paths
    It is only necessary to prioritize evaluation paths as an exception.
         Generally, you should use '*', so that all relationships are read.
    Use the Priority  field to define evaluation paths if you want only
         objects which are assigned a certain priority (see above) to be
         considered in an evaluation path.
    Note
    You can find more information on the meaning of the priority field with
         reference to evaluation paths in the online IMG documentation for
         'Maintain evaluation paths'.
    Priority for Responsibilities
    If you are using responsibilities for role resolution in Workflow, you
         Example: There are various responsibilities for a standard role for
         processing orders, grouped, for example according to order value (one
         responsibility for orders up to a certain value, another for orders with
         a greater order value).
    Assuming that orders for a particular customer are always to be
         processed with the same responsibility (and therefore by the same
         agent), you can access it via another responsibility with a higher
         priority that contains the customer name as the only criterion. The
         responsibility (-ies) with lower priority, and therefore the order
         value, is then no longer taken into account during agent determination.
    Use only numeric values here, and note that, logically, the
         responsibility with the highest numberic value in this field has the
         highest priority.
    Procedure
    1.  Sequence Priority of Objects
             In Create mode, assign a priority to the objects you wish to rank.
             To do so, assign an alphanumeric value (1, 2, 3... or A, B, C...) to
             each object.
    2.  Priority When Defining Evaluation Paths
        In the Priority field, enter the priority or priorities for objects
        that should be considered in evaluation paths. Enter "*" if you want
        to have no restriction.
    3.  Priority for Responsibilities
        Maintain the priority directly in the detail screen for the
        responsibility or in the overview screen for the responsibilities
        for the rule. Note that you must use numeric values here. On the
        overview screen, the system sorts the responsibilities in descending
        order of priority.

    Hi Gurus,
    I have got a problem with MIRO.
    When i provide 'test' in Reference field and PO number in PO Reference tab i am getting error message saying
    "Internal error in program SAPLEINR in position L014 (RC = 4)".
    What could be the reason for this error message and solution if any?
    Thanks in Advance!
    Pavan.

    Hi Pavan,
    I take it the error message number is C+509?
    This error is usually caused by inconsistencies between table EKPO and KONV. Check out note 205723 and implement the
    report ZKORKONV, you might want to run it in test mode first with the flag db_upd unchecked.
    Hope this helps,

  • Scroll resets to top position

    Hi, I am having a weird issue. When I scroll down on a window (in any program) the scroll resets to the top position. If I let go of the mouse or trackpad the scroll goes back to the top position.
    I am using 1.6.8 on MacBook
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks!
    :_) claudia

    Thanks Mohammad
    I tried this but doesn't work. Also I save the getRangeStart return value before Rollback and tried to set with scrollRange(range) or scrollToRangePage(range) methods after Rollback but nothing changes, the scrollbar resets to the top position. The getCurrentRow and getRangeStart methods return the original values before rollback, but the scrollbar continue moving at the top position of the table...
    Any suggestions?
