Flash Debug for current version

I was under the hope that when it upgraded it wouldn't
overwrite the debug version. How can we use things like Kuler and
Flex builder if when you release things we don't get a link to the
matching debug version of flash?

Does the symbol server work for current version?

I followed the "Using the Mozilla symbol server" article in order to see symbols for Firefox in a debugger. But i still only get those "firefox.exe+1a05" entries, instead of "firefox.exe+Sleep" for example. All windows symbols work, but I never got any Firefox symbols to show up. My idea now is that the Mozilla symbol server is not up to date. Can someone help me?

Hehe thats the "Using-the-Mozilla-symbol-server-article" I mentioned in my post. It only explains how to add the symbol server to search path; which is working for me. But the mozilla server seem to not have symbols for the current version of firefox.exe, THAT is my problem.

Unable to flash bios for X61 - version 2.22 - 7nuj22us

Neither the .ISO or .EXE version is working.
I don't have the Ultrabase, so I tried creating a bootable USB device with the flash files on it.
It boots up into Win98-DOS fine, but when I try to run UPDTFLSH.EXE, it says something about the image file not being found.
So I installed WindowsXP SP3 (Integrated) onto the X61 itself, and tried the 7nuj22us.EXE which gave the same error.
I AM UNABLE TO FIND A VERSION OF WINDOWXP without the SP3- it's too long ago.
Would be great if anyone can offer suggestions.

Nevermind, I was trying to flash with the wrong BIOS.

X61 and X61 Tablets are different patch files.

FCP X --Replacement for Current version of FCP???

I am getting the feel that FCP X is a FC express replacement and not a replacement for the true Professional Suite of products.
Am I wrong???

Yeah, I kinda don't see that. Did the availability of inexpensive word processing give rise to hundreds of new Hemingways or Bukowskis or Vonneguts? Did the unavailability of desktop video deny us Lynch or Almodovar or Soderburgh or Tarantino? The tool isn't what makes the content great.
If FCP-X lacks Pro features like EDL support, tape deck control (but tape is dead! not), no track assignments, no OMF support, no XML support, no proxy edit support (offline/online workflow), questionable Plugin support... it is doomed in the professional world.
Sure, consumers will have gotten a great tool for taking their DSLR cameras and putting something pretty on YouTube or Vimeo... but all those silly pro features I listed above? Those are all critical for producing broadcast television.
If the June release lacks those features, it no longer has the right to be called Final Cut Pro - Final Cut X(press) maybe, but not pro. I'm sure it'll be fine for wedding videos and other end-to-end video production. But Apple won't be able to brag that the next Coen Brother's film was cut with it. You won't see nationally broadcast television commercials edited with it. Nor will it take hold in episodic TV.
Yes, whole industries may change... back to Avid that is.

Flash plugin for Firefox: it has trouble after 6-9 hours!

Vista32 sp2, 4GB Ram, ALL Adobe Flash plugin for FF versions, now 11.1.102.55.
perhaps dxdiag.txt needed?
Issue:
when Firefox 3.6 (in the past) or 8.0 (now) remains open, after 6-9 hours I become issues with Flash plugin for FF.
ALL YT videos (240p up to 1080p) playback with jumpiness!! with or without acceleration.
ActiveX for IE9 works fine on the same machine. No problem with Silverlight in FF.
Solution: kill the flash plugin process in task manager >refresh the YT video's page > playback again ok.
why the flash plugin is fatigued after 6 or 9 hours?
is it able to handle good the memory usage?
May you want to suggest me a workaround to get the video's palyback smoothly even if Firefox is running a lot of time (without killing the process in task manager)?
or could I to wait for an update of flash plugin in the future that adresses this issue?

Yes the same problem in Firefox 8.0 too
(in my old FF 3.6: no issues regarding the jumpiness in Silverlight, therefore I think that this was/is perhaps an issue in "Flash player for FF" only: jumpiness after 6-9 hours usage).
But the new FF 8.0 offers the same behaviour after 6-9 hours.

Linked Documents to BOM: Current version/All versions

Hi,
I am talking about the screen that is obtained in ECC6 after executing CS03 , Go to Header Level and select the tab Doc.assignment.This shows Linked Documents ( Current version and All versions)
I have linked three released versions of a Document Info Record ( AA,AB and AC) with change number to the BOM by navigating to the screen listed above and saved the BOM.But I dont see any Linked documents, if I click on "Current version" in the same screen.However "All versions" shows all the three versions of this DIR.The DIR also shows the linked BOM in Cv03n for all three versions.
I have tried linking these three versions to the material, and the "current version" in the additional data tab ( basic data view) - document data tab rightly shows the latest version AC and All versions shows all three AA,AB and AC.
1.Is there any activation to be done for current version in BOM as mentioned in above screen?
2.The version is released with change number and is valid on todays date , what might be other possible reasons current version doesnt show up any DIRS for the BOM?

The SAP system we are using already has corrections of note 974270 as it is on higher version.
I have checked the documentation in the links you have sent and made sure that the settings for screens are fine.
I tried to execute couple of scenarios to check the logic for "Current version".
Scenario:1 : Two DIRS with out change number and not released
I see that there are no versions displayed in "Current version" tab( in CS03 tcode) for a simple test case where i created two DIRS with out change numbers, both of them not released.As per documentation in link, it should display the latest version in such scenario,
Scenario 2: Three released versions with valid change number.
For another test case , though three versions are released( AA, AB And AC) and change numbers are still valid, the current version still shows older version of "AA".( in CS03 tcode)
Please help if there is something else that I can check to proceed further.

Current version of Flash CC installed, but getting error message asking for a newer version?

With the latest download of Flash Professional CC, I'm trying to install the toolkit for CreateJS but getting the following error:
"this extension can not be installed, it requires Flash version in range of inclusively between 12 and 12"
I have installed all the current versions of Flash Professional CC, Adobe Extension Manager CC and the CC itself. Restarted the computer and installed all updates that it found. I have the most current versions of the applications, but I'm still getting the above error - what can I do?

Flash Pro CC is version 13. It appears to need Flash CS6 to function. If you have CC then CS6 is a download in your cloud membership.

Why in the world is the most current version of firefox AND flash having TONS of problems playing hulu videos? either chewing the crap out of my processor but playing ok, or chewing the crap out of my processor and not even playing video at all?

used to be firefox and hulu got along just fine, never had my computer get retarded slow or any of the other things its currently doing while there's a tab open with hulu... but here lately its been eating the snot outta my processor (between firefox.exe and plugin container the two are consistently using 100% of my processor... most of it being firefox.exe itself)
and tonight i cant watch hulu at all. the video shows a frame then its another 10-15 seconds before another single frame is showed.
my firefox is the most current version.
my adobe flash player plugin is the most current version.
there's no reason this should be happening but it is happening and its friggin annoying

this happens anytime i'm in the part of hulu that has the player for showing whatever episode i'm attempting to watch. when i attempt to watch hulu i have no other tabs open and no other excess programs running on my computer, and firefox+plugincontainer run my CPU to 100% just between those two processes. i can browse around the internet just fine (like checking my email, or even getting to my queue list on hulu, which i have my homepage set as.. the queue list loads fine but the player part of hulu is when things go to crap)
and i just tried the exact same episode of lie to me that i couldnt watch on firefox.... tried watching it on internet explorer and its playing perfextly fine EVEN WHILE FIREFOX IS OPEN.
firefox is my preferred browser and i hope this junk can be fixed somehow.

How to find and install the best version of Flash Player for a G4?

My dad has a Mac with OS 10.4.11. It's an 800 MHz Power PC G4 with 768 MB of memory SDRAM. His current version of Flash Player hardly works (video comes out as single images every few seconds) so we want to update it so he can watch You Tube and the like. We went to the page to install a new version that would work with OS 10.4 and received an error saying that that version of FP cannot be installed because Power PCs are no longer supported.
Can someone lead us in the right direction? We use Safari as our browser (it's version 4.0.4--kinda old, I think--could that have something to do with it?). We just want the best version of FP that will work with this set-up. Thanks.

How can I download the current version of Flash Player?

After nearly 3 weeks my original request received 0 replies; I'm not too impressed with this forum. I uninstalled and reinstalled my OS X 10.6.8 operating system on my MacBook Pro with Intel Core 2 Duo after following troubleshooting instructions to uninstall which left me w/o any version. I was then able to reinstall version 10.1.102.64 of Flash Player. However, I am still not able to install the current version, 11.1.102.55, either using Safari or Firefox. What is the issue? I hope this inquiry is viewed and answered since my previous posting was not.

I haven't used my Adobe Captivate 4 for a bit, but when I try to start it up, I get the following message:
"The Flash Player for Microsoft Internet Explorer, is not installed or its an older version.
You will automatically be redirected to the Adobe website to download the latest Flash Player.
Please note that the Adobe Captivate cannot be used until the Flash Player is installed."
Even if I click the OK button and reinstall the Flash Player, I still get the same message, when I try to startup Captivate.
I have verified that I'm running Flash player 16,0,0,235, which is supposed to be the latest version.
I'm running Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 11.

The problem is that your version of Captivate 4 needs to be updated with a patch that Adobe used to supply. (I don't have a link anymore to it.)
Captivate 4 was unable to recognise Flash Player versions beyond a certain number. It gives you a misleading error message that makes it look like you have the wrong version of Flash Player. But the real problem is that Captivate needs to be patched to recognise the latest FP versions.
I'm hoping that someone from the Adobe Captivate team will chime in here and give us another link to download the patch. Otherwise, you really might be forced to upgrade to a newer version of Cp. However, if your current projects are being built in Cp4, your next issue will be that if you purchase Cp8 it will NOT be able to upgrade your Cp4 projects. You'd need to download a trial version of Cp5 or 5.5, and do a two-step upgrade.

Flash Player version 10.1.102.64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users. However, this Flash version won't work for many videos on Facebook, YouTube and other sites. Adobe's latest version, 10.2.x or later, is only for Intel Macs. Adobe will not provide a newer Flash version for PPC Macs.
The message requesting that you download Adobe Flash Player takes you to Flash Player requiring an Intel processor. Doesn't work on a PowerPC processor. I found a hack, installed it & it works with Firefox, TenFourFox & Safari.
Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.

On clicking on the Flash player link in the Downloads section of the Adobe home page I am taken to what looks like the 'Flash Player' download page with an 'install Flash' button in the bottom right hand corner. However, when I click on this button I am directed back to the Adobe home page. Could this be something to do with my AV?.
