Flash on windows mobile 6 and camera connection

Hy, student from netherlands and we need to use flash lite
for mobiles!
Our plan is: User need to take 20sec video and audio and then
send it to server!
I found kuneri and with nokias it would work fine, but as a
student I can't buy again new phone?
Now I have pocket pc with windows mobile 6 pro, but when I
install flash player 2.1 in the browser we get popup do download
swf file and not playing in the browser? So it's not working?
At the last post they say it should work, but How?
After that can I make connection with camera on phone with
flash player mobile?
I was working with rmtp with normal browser, but how it works
with mobile browser?
Any sugestion please

We've encountered this problem a year ago.
There are 2 solutions :
- compress MP3/FLV at the maximum (in file size) to reduce memory consumption and set a timer of 60 seconds before loading another MP3/FLV to let the garbage collector of Flash Player to free memory.
- use an external MP3 Player (Windows Media or TCPMP), if you configure the player to launch automatically when double clicking on .mp3 files, you just have to call fscommand("launch", "test.mp3");
The problem is then to hide the MP3 Player.
Using Janus-Flash, you can "Set Top Most" Flash Player so the MP3 Player is hidden.
Using this method we managed to play 15 MB MP3, and switch almost instantly to another big MP3 file.
Check Janus-Flash Forum to find the solution. The exe to set top most is called "Janus Kiosk.exe".

Hello. I am the very last user running Windows Mobile 6.5.3, the old and abandoned operating system by Microsoft. As a Mozilla's enthusiast, I am really interested in using Firefox OS, however I can't find any ways to install such OS into my phone. May I know any guide on how to put Firefox on my Sony Ericsson Aspen?
Device specifications are as follows:
- Sony Ericsson Aspen
- Running Windows Mobile 6.5.3 (Original OEM ROM)
- Qualcomm MSM7227 CPU
- ARM11 with the speed of 600MHz
- 256MB RAM
- Flash size is 512MB
- Data Bus 32bits
- Internal Storage 267.39MB
- Display is QVGA (320x240)
- Colors 65536
- Bluetooth is 2.0 with EDR and A2DP

Windows mobile and sync-engine

I followed the wiki (http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Syn … ows_mobile) but could not get my HTC Touch Diamond to sync, it connects and I can view the files, dirs and installed programs with synce-kpm, but it just does not want to do a sync (contacts, notes, etc.)
So I read that sync-engine needs to be configured for such a sync to work and I followed the tutorial over here:

I am now however stuck at trying to install all the plugins that is required:
msynctool --listplugins

According to the tutorial and according to what I have read on other forums you need to:
If you don't see the above plugin in the output of msynctool, then download the [http://synce.svn.sf.net/svnroot/synce/trunk/sync-engine/plugins/synce-opensync-plugin-2x.py plugin] and copy this file to /usr/lib/opensync/python-plugins or /usr/lib64/opensync/python-plugins for x86-64. After that, when you rerun msynctool --listplugins you should see the synce-opensync-plugin in the output and you can continue with creating an opensync group.
The required plugin is already in /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/plugins/synce-opensync-plugin-2x.py, so I just copied it to /usr/lib/opensync/python-plugins (there is no /usr/lib64 in Arch).
Thing is it is still not recognised, I even tried the synce-install-plugins.py script with no luck.
Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong here or where I should copy the files?

A simple google search "windows mobile sip client" can give you some options, no idea how apps are delivered to windows mobile, if there's an equivalent to play store/app store, search for SIP

When you install Visual Studio 2015 when not connected to the internet, for example from an ISO, you may receive warnings after setup completes for Tools for Windows 10 Universal Apps, Windows 10 SDK, and Emulators for Windows Mobile. These warnings include:

This product did not download successfully: Signature verification failed on downloaded file.
This product did not download successfully: HTTP Status 502: The server….

To fix this issue, your computer must be connected to the internet to download these components.
Make sure your computer is connected to the internet.
Open Control Panel, and select Programs and Features.
Select Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 RC, click Change, and then click
Modify.
Select the feature “Universal Windows App Development Tools”, and click
Update.

Windows Apple iPod Camera connected??????

When I hook my iPod Touch up to sync I get the above Windows message asking which of the following I want to select to launch the program:
Office Publisher
Office Word
Scanner and Camera Wizard
I do not get the option to "Take no action"
It doesn't effect the sync process and is more of an annoyance - anyone got any ideas?

A couple of things might be happening. To deal with just that problem, follow the steps in this troubleshooting document: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1857
If the iPod is still not recognized correctly, a piece of software, Apple Mobile Device Services, is either not installed or not running. To check that and correct the problem, see this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1567
Between the two, you should be up and running. If not, let us know.

Windows Mobile and syncing with Vista

I just recently bought a new laptop (within the last week) with Vista as the operating system. I also use Outlook 2007. When I hook my phone up by the usb cable sometimes the computer acknowledges my phone and sometimes not. However, when it does acknowledge it, it does not give me the option to set it up, only an option to sync music, photos and tv. All I want to do is to sync to Outlook.
You can probably tell from my message that I am not very tech savvy but if someone can tell me what to do I can do it! I have read the help menu in Vista backward and forward but still have no idea how to get my phone to sync. Someone please help me before I lose my mind! Is there anything that I have to download to be able to sync? I realize that activesync no longer is needed on Vista but I am unable to tell whether I have to download the Windows Mobility Device Center or if it is already in Vista. I cannot find anything that looks like the WMDC is supposed to look like on my computer and like I said, I am not offered the option of setting up my device.

Ok one way to make sure and see if WMDC is install is to go into your control panel and open the programs and features. And look for the windows mobile device center. If it is listed then it is installed if not (which I think is the case) then you would need to go to here to install it http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/help/synchronize/device-center.mspx
once installed you should get the setup option.
Let me know if any of this does not work

Flash 10, Windows 7 and all browsers = crash of the browser HELP

I have Win 7 Ultimate edition, did a clean install last night. I have tried Flash with IE8 32 & 64 versions, Fire Fox and Safari all with similar results.
I am trying to complete Flash Based learning lessons for work to give you an idea of what I am trying to accomplish.
the problems are as follows:
IE8- Both Versions- I can run through the entire presentation but once I click finish to close out the browser crahes and the flags are Browser and Flash
stopped working I tried the remedies windows produced for me with no results.
FireFox- Problem- The window opens and I can see the presentation but the navigation buttons have no button just the words INVALID
Safari- Problem- The presentation shows up with all navigation buttons but I am not able to click any of them, the only option that works is the windows close button
I have tried reinstalling by downloading from each different browser, I have tried a system restore to last night right after my windos install, I have tried stopping the processes in msconfig (which was a soltuion in another thread) and a few other things (nothing too technical). I asked one of the IT guys in the office about it and of course didn't have time to toubleshoot it for me before he went to lunch, his responce was dam thats wierd.
Any help from the forum would be greatly appreciated.

Why doesn't Adobe simply come out with a "Troubleshooter/Personal Settings" Inspector Program?
That way, I would start that program & it would analyze my op system, browser & version, current flashplayer being used
, and tell me the changes needed. If Adobe REALLY wanted to do it right, that program would make necessary changes "FOR US"! But, *WILL* THEY? Knowing Adobe, I DOUBT it.
If changes need to be made, it simply tells me what they are & give me links to accomplish all of it?

I know this is an old thread but i have to give it a try ( i am stuck with an almost identical problem but cant solve it since 5 days googling and reading.
I am developing an app for Unitech HT660e which has Win CE. THe app is complete but now i need some more control over the barcode scanner. In order to gain controll i need to use USI.dll which is explained in this documentation (chapter 2 has the link to
the SDK which contains the USI.dll ) :

But i also get : Cant find PInvoke DLL 'USI.dll'.
In chapter 4 is SysIOAPI.DLL mentioned which i cant fin.
Chapter 17 has USICF.dll which may be interesting bcos this one can be added as reference and "using USICF" . I am using compact framework 3.5 for this and the emulator is "usa windows mobile 5.0 pocket pc r2 emulator".
Reading your post i noticed i can use the "Pocket PC 2003 SE Emulator" but it gives me the same error.
Maybe i need to include a path in my code but i tried this as well...and get the same problem. Maybe i am missing something.

The new Ipad and camera connection kit with Sony A65 RAW

Hi,
I recently purchased the "new ipad" with camera connection kit. I'm shooting photos in RAW format with Sony A65 and I have succesfully transferred them into my Ipad. The problem is that none of the applications such as Snapseed, Photoforge2, etc. will display the full 24 megapixel image from the RAW file and will instead show small preview.
It is indicated in support pages of these applications that there should be support for IOS Raw engine supported RAW files with full size. Can someone indicate me what RAW formats are supported by IOS 5.1 and whether support for Sony RAW files will be added.
The same problem persists with 16 megapixel images from Sony A55.

Thank you, David, but actually your answer is not helpful. As I explained in my opening message, I am interested in buying and using an i-Pad while on a trip in Spain, where I will not have access to a computer, other than, perhaps, one at the Apple Store where I might buy the i-Pad.

I just loaded iTunes 10.5 on my new windows 7 and cannot connect to the store

It sees my phone, syncs, shows my tunes, but I get a blank screen when I try to connect to the store or the help page. When I click on "View My Account" from the Store tab, I get my account info, but only as a text list - no graphics. I ran diagnostics from within iTunes (passed every test) and sent screen shots to support, but was unsuccessful in getting anyone to respond. I'm sure it's a setting somewhere within Windows (maybe???) because I can connect from other computers at my office, just not mine!

There's a good solid hint that this one affects Safari for Windows page loads as well as iTunes Store loads. (Presumably, it's via interference with the webkit engine for both applications.) Just the one example to work from so far:

... but since coming back to ASC last year, I'd also seen some otherwise-mysterious systemwide SfW page-load failures (over at Safari) that I think might bear further investigation along these lines.

Windows 7 and WRT54GS2 connectivity problem

I have a WRT54G2s router - I currently have a XP laptop and Brother printer working wirelessly with this router. I received a new computer that is running windows 7. I can see the router at full strength and am able to connect to it but once I connect the signal is reduced to one bar and never increases. When I see the network before connection it shows at full strength. Any insight as to why this is happening? I have tried disconnecting all other devices from the router to see if there is interferance - also sitting right next to the router the same thing happens. I can hardwire with ethernet calbe and it works fine but once I try wireless - again the W7 computer sees it at full strength but once I make a connection it is so weak I can barely get an internet connection. Please help - this is incredibly frustrating - I have updated to the latest version of firmware and when I try and use the network troubleshooter in windows it tells me it cannot detect the problem and sends me to a website that is of no help.

Did you tried to connect to any other network and checked if you are facing the issue?
Well make sure that you are using Security Mode as WPA2.
Open an Internet Explorer browser page on your wired computer(desktop).In the address bar type 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...Leave Username blank & in Password use admin in lower case...
For Wireless Settings, please do the following : -
Click on the Wireless tab
- Wireless Network mode should be mixed...
- Provide a unique name in the Wireless Network Name (SSID) box in order to differentiate your network from your neighbors network...
- Set the Wireless channel to 11-2.462GHz...Wireless SSID broadcast should be Enabled and then click on Save Settings...
Please make a note of Wireless Network Name (SSID) as this is the Network Identifier...
For Wireless Security : -
Click on the Sub tab under Wireless > Wireless Security...
Change the Wireless security mode to WPA, For Encryption, select TKIP...For Passphrase input your desired WPA Key. For example , MySecretKey , This will serve as your network key whenever you connect to your wireless network. Do NOT give this key to anyone and remember the key.
NOTE : Passphrase should be more that 8 characters...
Click on Advanced Wireless Settings
Change the Beacon Interval to 75,Change the Fragmentation Threshold to 2304,Change the RTS Threshold to 2304 and Click on Save Settings...
Now see if you can locate your Wireless Network and attempt to connect...
This should fix the issue for you.

Windows 7 and internet connection issue

I am having a problem connecting to internet on Windows 7 OS. I have a Macbook that installed Windows 7 on Bootcamp. When I connect the DSL wire to my computer in dormitory it connects automatically. But when I go to somewhere else it doesn't connect. I also tried to connect using IP address which consists of 4-5 rows of numbers. Unfortunately, I cannot find the tab where I can enter these IP address numbers. So I was wondering if there is something wrong with my Network Driver (or may be it is missing some networking drivers).
The main reason I want to connect to the Internet in Windows system is because I need to activate Keyshot (which requires internet connection and it works only on windows platform). My teacher said if the IP system is different on the Windows installed Macintosh, then it may not activate the product. So I was wondering if my Windows networking system works differently from Windows system on normal PC. If so how to fix this connection problem. Sorry if my question is too complicated.
But again, I am able to connect on my windows at home. But this connection is still not allowing me to activate the software. As I understood, this program requires normal internet connection of Windows. I don't know what is wrong with my computer.

Windows 8 And Random Connectivity Issues

Hello,
I just relatively recently got a laptop with Windows 8 on it. I hadn't used Windows 8 before, but while some features are good, others are not.
Notably, when I put my computer to sleep and return from sleep, often times I need to unplug my ethernet cable or my pages won't 'load' because the network is unavailable. But my old laptop, with Windows 7, will be able to access the internet just fine and
so it doesn't seem to be an ISP issue.
I thought it may be a Google Chrome issue, but IE and Firefox have similar issues, pages hang for a long time and eventually display 'page cannot be displayed' or some variant.
As I said, sometimes if I unplug and re-plug my ethernet cable in, it resolves it, at least when I return from hibernation.
Unfortunately, two or three times before, and now another time today, I'll be working on my computer and I'll go to a website and it will just hang, then if I try to reload or reload any other pages, I get a similar issue, the network isn't available.
I tried unplugging/replugging, I made sure the connection was fine by using my old laptop, and I even tried putting the computer to sleep and back, and closing Chrome and reloading, none of that worked. What did work was completely restarting, but this is
inconvenient.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has encountered these issues and if there are easier/more permanent fixes to them? They aren't /terrible/ but they are inconvenient and annoying.

Have we tried the network troubleshooter?
Open the Network troubleshooter by swiping in from the right edge of the screen, tapping
Search (or if you're using a mouse, pointing to the upper-right corner of the screen, moving the mouse pointer down, and then clicking
Search), entering network troubleshooter in the search box, tapping or clicking
Settings, and then tapping or clicking Identify and repair network problems.
