How can i can to export a flash image to jpeg?

To answer such a basic question, your best friend is the F1
key. Flash Help files are very good. Try it! Go to Flash Help,
enter the words "export jpeg", and then you don't have to sign up
for a forum, post a message and wait a long time for an answer.

Flash PHP JPG/PNG Email

Hi,
I would like to take a "screenshot" of the stage within flash and send it as an image by email.
I have tried AMFPHP and the method described here - http://www.bytearray.org/?p=90#respond
This is saving a jpg of a movie on the server, but no email function.
I know how to setup a very simple php email file but without attachement.
So my problem is I have no idea how to "connect" all those parts together and make it so that when you click the button in flash it'll send the jpg by email directly.
Any help would be appreciated !

John, that is a very interesting application you found there. I tried it out and downloaded the source but haven't looked through it yet.
If you notice, once you've created your snapshot and saved it to the server, you can view it by clicking Snapshot available here. That gives you the full URL of the image. One thing you could do is pass that URL in a variable to your PHP page that sends the email, and include the reference as an image source in the body of the email. That would display the image in the HTML email but would not be an attachment. But as mentioned above, I'm sure there's a way to grab the image using the URL in the same way, just not sure how at this point.

Flash movie "Flashes"

Whenever I go to a web page that has a flash movie on it the
contents of the movie has random parts of the movie flickering on
and off. The movie does show but it is extremely annoying having
this flashing on so many pages.
This is in Windows 2000.
I have installed an updated video driver.
I have installed a new video card.
I have re-installed the flash player.

je ne connais que le flash et j'aimerais savoir lequel de
flash ou dreamweaver est le meilleur dans ce domaine

Load external jpg

I cannot load external jpg, they're not progresive.... the
jpg files are inside a folder, and I write the next code:
this.createEmptyMovieClip("mc", 100);
mc.loadMovie("flash/photo1.jpg");
but it doesn't work...

use trace(mc) to confirm "this" refers to a movieclip, make
sure there's nothing at a greater depth preventing you from seeing
your image, double check your spelling of flash/photo1.jpg (and
case counts) and make sure your html file is in a super folder of
the flash folder, if you're testing in a browser.

Saving bitmap to jpg

Is there another way besides pixel by pixel ? is there a
faster way to save from flash in jpg ?

Flash Application Font-Face and Font-Style

This is a similar thread to one I posted earlier but this one is
more detailed to explain my problem
Does anyone know how to change the programs font-face,
font-size, font-style etc ... of the console? I'm referring to all
of the outer workspace area, not the stage.
I found the image below at some website by google just to

Swatches, Character, Sound panels. On my computer, the font
size for these words and for everything inside these panels are
microscopic. They are so small it can't be read unless you stare at
it for a while.
How do I change the font size or face for these fonts?
Now you see the top of the screen, where it says "
File Edit View Insert Modify Text Control Window Help"? All
of these font sizes are perfectly normal just like everything on my
computer. I also use Adobe Photoshop CS 8.0 and the panel window
fonts are perfect as well as everything else, so I know that it is
a problem only with my Flash 5.0.
I would appreciate any help you guys can give me, as it takes
me forever to work on a project, I have to stare for a while to
figure out what the panel text says.

avez-vous remarquer que maintenant pour aller cliquer dans un
menu flash(sur certaines pages de site web), ou des formulaires en
coldfusion version flash,
il faut maintenant cliquer deux foix, une foix pour entrer
dans l'objet (cela fait un rectangle a l'écran) et une foix
sur le bouton que l'on souhaite valider!
Y a t-il une solution pour éviter ce problème de
double clique.
(je suis sous windows en internet explorer 6, et le player
flash en 9)

Deplacement d'une animation Flash sous dreamweaver

Bonjour,
J ai une animation flash en bas a droite de mes pages mais
parfois les pages sont plus grandes que 700 pixels en hauteur et
forcement quand on utilise l ascenseur l animation reste a sa
place! je voudrais qu elle glisse en meme temps que le defilement
de la page: je descends , elle descend!
j avais vu quelque chose a propos d un script base sur la
position relative par rapport au haut de la page mais je le
retrouve plus.
Pouvez vous m eclairer.

Problèmes de typo endommagée à l'exportation, sur une animation Flash

Bonjour,
Je viens de terminer une petite animation sur Adobe Flash CS6 pour MAC.
Lors de l’exportation en fichier animation.swf certaines typographies se trouvent dégradées alors que sur Flash je ne vois aucun problème.
Quelqu’un d’entre vous a déjà eu ce type de problème ? Avez-vous trouvé une solution ?

What is the property of best JPG quality?

Hello,
When i load an external JPG file in a movieclip, how can i
get the best quality of
this external JPG file?
I know for video it is Smoothing, but for external jpg files
i really don't know.

It seems more compex then i tought, because
I tried al these things:
movieclip_mc._quality = "BEST";
moveiclip_mc._highquality = 2;
( i found this in the help file, i effects more the vector
based animations). If set to 0, an animation is really crapy.

And also i tried publishing the flash with jpg quality set to
100, but that does not effect external loaded jpg.
I think i know what causes the edge of a person in a photo
that is not smooth. I rescaled the movieclip.
What i don't understand is when you have a video you can use
the property
myvideo.smoothing = true;
When rescaling it still looks very good.
Why did they not use the same technique for JPG?
Also when you import jpg files in your library you can use
the property of this jpg and set
the smoothing to 100% quality. This really does it's work
with GIF's and makes the edge very smooth.
Too bad you can't use smoothing to a movieclip :(

Up, Down and hit problem

I created the movie clip and created the bar and clicked
inside the library and chose the button. and then I created the new
bar inside. and moved the up to down and hit and went back to the
normal mode but I saw the first bar without any fill. What happen?

Did you maybe move the stroke only, rather than the stroke
and the fill?

Transparency problem with animated gif within AJAX overlay

Hello all,
I have designed and animated a loading spinner in Photoshop CS3, which needs to sit within an Ajax overlay, with transparency set to 75.
I tried exporting the spinner as an animated gif with a transparent background (using Save for Web), but it gave the animation a pixelated outside edge. Does anybody know how to remedy this?
As the Ajax overlay is semi-transparent, I tried exporting the animated gif with a black background and transparency set to 75%. I ticked the transparency box in the export window, but once it is loading in the Ajax it doesn't seem to be transparent (see here: http://www.chrisgartside.co.uk/flash/Screenshot.jpg)
Any help is very much appreciated.

White Lines in SWF in firefox only

It's easier to show than to describe. I've got this SIMPLE
flash movie that I'm supposed to put on a site. it looks fine in
IE. when I look at it in firefox, I get lines above/below the
text...but only, apparently, on some backgrounds. the sample page
shows the flash against black, red, gold and the actual blue/gray
that is the background color for my final site.
let me tell you what I don't have: boxes around the text,
lines of any kind through the flash file, jpg/bmp/other imported
graphics.
Does anyone have any ideas? Again - test this in IE and
Firefox. the results are different.

That was the issue, in a roundabout sort of way. my FF was
running a different release of the flash plugin, so the overall
answer, for client-facing solution, was to publish the flash to an
older version.
that still doesn't explain the lines.......
