Video appearing in popup and mainpage

I'm using dreamweaver and trying to get a .mov to appear in a popup when I click the link. It's opening the popup and playing the movie successfully... but also opens and plays it in the site body.
I've heard that this is a common issue when using quicktime files, but I haven't been able to find a fix for it.
Here's the code I'm using:

I assume it has something to do with the _target, but I can't figure out how to fix it.

Try this:

Change the first "a" to <a and change /a with /a>. This will make the tag work...I had to remove < and > from the above code to be able to post it in here.
All one line no breaks...Make sure the javascript is in the head. Problem was you were calling for the video twice.
The # in the code is what is called a null link...a link that doesn't point to anything.
This is more of a html coding problem and not a quicktime problem,

Video appears bright green and pink

I just re-installed OSX and updated installed all the all the latest updates to 10.5.5
Previously I was in 10.5.4
Now when I play a DVD, or activate video in iChat or Quicktime the colors are only pink and green. Visualizer in iTunes appears normal.
any ideas on what could be the issue? I have two separate video cards, the factory install and an ATI X1900 and I get the same affect under either one. All other display operations appear normal.

That's interesting. You might try resetting PRAM and then NV-RAM.
Also check in System Profiler for any diagnostic errors after booting.
You can also boot using verbose mode, hold down Cmd-V on boot and see if anything relating to monitor appears.
You can re-read these messages after booting by entering, in a terminal,
sudo dmesg
and then enter your password.

You may have some success getting the songs off your iPod by using the instructions/suggestions here.

I am a complete novice with Final Cut Pro X. I have learned enough to do what I need to do. That being said I would gladly give you that info if you would point me to where I would find it. When I do a "get info" on the mp4 file it tells me that the dimension is 640x480, the codecs are H.264, AAC, and I have 2 audio channels. I did not download the additional content for FCP.

After FlashPlayer 11.04, a website with videos on, like YOUTUBE opens a seperated process and the videos appear in the left top corner and can't be moved.

After updating to a version after FlashPlayer 11.02 when opening a window with flash videos on, next to the process of Firefox in the Task Bar appears a new process with the Flash Player icon and the video window is placed in the top left corner and can't be moved. If there are more then one video in that page when clicking that Flash Player icon you can see a list of all the videos.
Using FlashPlayer 11.02 this problem doesn't happen and I used this solution for some time, but now If I use that version I get a black window with an error message about security reasons, but if I click it it plays without any problem. Although in some websites that need Flash it says it needs at least version 10, but I have 11.02 but doesn't recognize it and demands to be upgraded.
This is all very weird because only happens in my laptop, I have a desktop with the exact same windows and Firefx version and this doesn't happen. I already tried to uninstall Firefox completly and even deleteing all plugins and extensions and the problem remains.
Uninstalling Flash player also solves this, but then I'm asked to update the the Flash player. This problems doesn't happen in Chrome or IExplorer 10:

Videos Appear Black and Jagged

I need help in playing AVI videos on Quicktime.
Ever since I upgraded to Quicktime Pro, my AVI videos have not been playing.
At first I got a white screen and audio only.
And then I installed various components but it only made it so that the screen became black with choppy colors here and there, like so:

Nothing I do seems to get rid of this jagged coloring and black screen.
I tried downgrading quicktime but that didn't work either.
I tried reinstalling as well.
Please help.

It used to play fine on this mac but now...
I tried perian, and the preview of the video in the file columns appear fine, but the actual video is still black and jagged.
I've tried to import it into imovie and it doesn't improve.
it plays on VLC fine but... I need to make edits in imovie...

Hello, I was watching videos on my laptop normally but suddenly most videos appeared corrupted and won't open, I cant play them any more. I've formatted my computer but sadly they are still corrupted please help me what the hell happened to those files????I've

So when you play them after exporting in QT and do get info what are the codecs and bitrates?
If you want to have life easier use MPEG Streamclip, open, select export to MPEG-4 and pick a preset from the iTunes button and you will be happy. And it also does batches and you may find it is also faster.
And it is free.

New iPhoto Videos stopped appearing in iMovie (and media Browser too)

I only recently discovered the usefulness of viewing iPhoto videos in iMovie, simplifying the process to editing my videos.
However recently my videos have stopped appearing. I am using Leopard 10.5.6 and the videos are captured using a Powershot SD750 camera into an AVI format. up until the 12/12 the videos appeared fine, and I am sure that I haven't changed anything. The iPhoto library is stored on a NAS drive. Which does seem to lose connection on a regular basis, causing me to need to choose the library in iPhoto again.
When I launch iMovie it used to ask about loading the Iphoto videos though I have not seen this dialogue recently.
I also notive that in the media browser iDVD or web upload these particular videos are not shown.
I would be grateful for any help...

Suddenly today, this is working fine, not sure why, as I had rebooted the machine several times to try and resolve...
If anyine has any ideas as to why, I would appreciate it. When I opened iMovie today I saw the dialogue that had been missing:

It looks like a driver related issue specifically the video card driver. I suggest that you scan your computer with RadarSync so that you will know which drivers need some updating. Once you some results, you can either Google the updates or go to the HP's support website to get the latest updates or you can use RadarSync to update automatically. I hope this helps! David

Quite right, but as the OP does not have component or composite connections not important.

Firefox crashes as soon as Flash video tries to load and Safari shows the error "Plug-in Failure"

I am unable to use Youtube or view Flash video on any sites.

I have uninstalled Flash, downloaded a fresh version and installed, but no joy.
I am using OS X 10.6.6.
This is what I have tried so far;
1. Repaired Permissions.
2. Restarted with external drive and run Disk repair.
3. Restarted with external drive and run DiskWarrior.
4. Completely uninstalled Flash plugin. Robooted. Reinstalled Flash plugin. Rebooted.
5. I even installed an earlier version of the plugin to see if there was some incompatibility with the latest version.
6. Created a new user login and tried from there. Same problem.
Any ideas?

You have what is necessary for Flash Player to be working. Firefox had some issues last year but it was after loading a video or the website. I had not heard of it lately and even last year don't recall it happening on the Macs.
What is happening with yours sounds like a direct conflict with some addon/extension.
