Flex 4 scaleGrid properties are not working for me.

Hello All,
    I'm new to Flex 4. I have used Flex 3. But in flex 4 i'm facing one problem which i'm unable to solve. I have added a backgroundImage for a BorderContainer. Image is getting added but it is not at all scaling. I felt as the properties scaleGridTop, scaleGridBottom, scaleGridRight and scaleGridLeft are not working which was working in flex 3.
Here is my code

This image is getting added but it is totally stretched. Not scaling according to the positions i've set.
Please can anybody help me in resolving this issue...?

Looks like BorderContainer doesn't respect scaleGrid values. I have filed a bug for this here: http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/SDK-30676

Alerts are not working for Site collections in a content database

Hi,
We have been into a strange issue that alerts are not working for site collections from a particular content database. When user subscribed for the alerts, they are getting mail about their subscription but not after that for any new items/documents added
or changes happen in the list/document library.
We have tried with Immediate as well as scheduled alerts both are not working.
FYI, Alerts for all other site collections from different content database for the same web application are working without any issues.
Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like an Timer job Issue for your web application. Can you please check if these jobs are enabled and check error log for the alerts Timer jobs .Check whether the "Immediate Alerts" job is enabled for your web application.

Quartz filters are not working (for PDF)

It seems that quartz filters are not working for me under Mountin Lion. I have tried to export, print, etc everything in Preview, Automator, ColorSync. It simply won't apply the filters to my PDFs.
Anyone experienced similar issues? Is it a known bug?

I kinda have the same problem, except its only my custom filters that aren´t working in ColorSynch. The other filters get applied as usual, but I can not change any of the preformed filters within ColorSynch, and the "live update from filter inspector" doesn´t work if I try to apply changes or use my custom filters.
The custom filters I have, were created prior to my upgrade from snow leopard to moutain lion.
I´ve understood that there has been multiple problems with the filters in lion ++
If there isn´t a quick fix to this, does anybody know of any programs I can use to apply filters without having to buy Adobe Pro, my use is not for simply decreasing file size, but mostly for editing colors prior to prinitng. And its not sufficient to use the preformed filters unfortunately.

All the properties are not displying for the View Object

i my one of the view Object it is only showing the properties

Lable
Render values
I want to use text box (Input box )...but it is not showing in the property window
why it is not showing the all the properties for the that view Object.
Is it a read only view object ? if so then how to change it

This question is confusing.
You talk about properties, suggesting attribute properties are not showing up in the view object editor. Then you talk about a read-only view object, which suggests you talk about a running application?
Normally a view object is updatable when it is based on an entity object and when on the entity object tab of the view object editor (the page in which you select the entity object) the updatable checkbox has been checked.
But being updatable as such is not why attributes would not show up in a screen.
Can you be more specific, and also tell us what JDeveloper version you are working with?

Time series functions are not working for fragmented logical table sources?

If i remove that fragmented logical table sources, then its working fine.
if any body know the reason, please let me know.

Hi,
is because the time series function are not supported for the framentation content, see the content of the oracle support:
The error occurs due to the fact the fragmented data sources are used on some Time series measures. Time series measures (i.e. AGO) are not supported on fragmented data sources.
Confirmation is documented in the following guide - Creating and Administering the Business Model and Mapping Layer in an Oracle BI Repository > Process of Creating and Administering Dimensions
Ago or ToDate functionality is not supported on fragmented logical table sources. For more information, refer to “About Time Series Conversion Functions” on page 197.

Brushes are not working for lightnening

My brushes do not work, for lightening. I restet them and did control alt shift already.

Numpad keys are not working for SAP in Linux

What happened to my bookmarks, and how do I retrieve them. Your instructions are not working for me

I have Yahoo mail, and recently they changed the format. Ever since then I've had nothing but trouble. At one time I lost my Orange Firefox button which contained the print, and bookmarks ops, among others. One day I lost my button, so I un-then re-installed Firefox. Shortly after that I lost my bookmarks, and have NOT
been able to retrieve them DISPITE following the instructions. I started a new bookmark list, and then I lost
it again. Your instructions do not work for me. I even tried re-installing Firefox, but that was a waste of time.
I really like Firefox, but it seems since Yahoo Mail changed, I've had trouble with it. Sometimes changing something doesn't always work out .................................................If I can't retrieve these bookmarks, I'll just have to change my browser.............................

Partner functions for FV11 conditions are not working for MIRO

Hi,
We have a business process wherein PO Ordering vendor and invoicing vendor are different.
We have defined FV11 tax conditions ( VAT and Excise)for PO vendor .
We have not defined FV11 tax conditions ( VAT and Excise) for Invoicing vendor.
So while we are doing MIRO for such PO, we are getting an error that VAT tax code say G1 is not maintained in TAXXINN proceedure.
When we defined TAX conditions for Invoicing vendor also , system allowed MIRO for such PO.
We are using TAXINN proceedure.
Guide me whether :
1. Definining VAT and Excise conditions for Invoicing vendor is a must ..?
OR
2. We can do some configuration in Partner functions sothat whatever Tax conditions defined for PO vendor will be defaulted and can be used sothat at the time of MIRO there will not any error for VAT and Excise conditions defined only in PO.

As you said we have defined FV condition records were defined to key combination specific to Vendor. Given the scenario, can we change partner functions from PI or VN or other related , will System allow defualt these conditions to invoicing partner..? Iam not very much sure how partner functions work..? can please throw some light on this or guide me a link where can I get information on partner functions?
ALternatively , instead of defining FV11conditions for key combination with vendor, if we define FV 11 conditions for other combination such as at material group level- will it work?

THE PLAYLIST DIRECTIONS ARE NOT WORKING FOR ME

I FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS AS STATED AND CANNOT SEEM TO CREATE A PLAYLIST WHICH WAS LOST (1300 FIDDLE TUNES) WHEN I TRANSFERRED FROM DELL TO IMAC. I WILL REBUILD IT BUT THE DIRECTIONS DON'T SEEM TO WORK. I HAVE NOW CREATED TWO NEW FILES AND TUNES WILL NOT BE DRAGGED IN NOR SIT ON THE RIGHT WHILE MY VOLULME OF TUNES LOADS UP TO CHOOSE WHICH TO DRAG. ALSO, I WONDER HOW I CAN GET RID OF THAT STAR RATING, SEEMS JUVENILE. I USE GENRE TO PUT THE KEY OF THE TUNE, SURPRISED YOU HAVE NO KEY COLUMN. SOME OF US UTILIZE THE KEY THAT THE TUNES ARE IN.

First, just so you know, all caps is the equivalent of yelling....figured you weren't aware of that.
Display your Sidebar to see your playlists and the music at the same time - click on View in the Menu Bar at the top, and click on Show Sidebar.
No way to get rid of the Star Rating - ignore it. I never even notice it because it it meaningless to me....
As for the Key issue, use one of the other sort columns to assign a Key to your music - click on a song, or select a group of songs (click on first one, then use the Shift Key plus the down arrow to select a consecutive group, or click on a song, then use the Command Key and click to select songs that are not consecutive)
Then, once selected, click on File and Get Info. You will get a message asking if you want to edit information for multiple items - say Yes.
Use the Grouping field to type in your Key. Or you can go to the Video tab and use the Show field. When you are editing multiple items, all of the fields are empty, but many of them are used by the system, so you don't want to randomly select a field to put your own info into . The two I suggested are "user" fields, so they are safe. If you want to see what else if available, select a single song and look at the Get Info tabs. Do that for several so you get a good sense of where the empty fields are.
Once you have assinged the value for your key, click OK.
Then you will want that new criteria to show in your Music window, so click on View and Show View Options, and check the box for the field that you used to assign the Key.

Formlevel Validation properties are not working when stitching the XDPs

The form validation settings are not coming in merged PDF document.We are using Adobe LiveCycle Designer 9.0
We changed the Form Validations settings, 'Configure how Acrobat displays validation message boxes', to 'Don't show any message box at all' in our XDPs. It is behaving as required when we tested them in individual PDFs.
In our project, it is required to merge these XDPs to a single PDF document. We are stitching the XDPs using the assembler by providing the DDX file. We are getting the default behavior , 'Show every message........', it is showing error message for each field.
Please help us to corect this.

Hi Poornachandra,
I tested the same formula in my environment for uploading the videos in Site Assets library, however the validation worked fine.
This error may be caused by some other reasons. Could you please provide more error message in ULS log for further research?
To narrow the issue scope, I recommend to test the validation formula in another library and then upload a video to the library, then compare the results.

My push notifications for Facebook are not working for the iPhone 5.

All the sounds are working except for Facebook. I have enabled all the settings for the push notifications but they still do not work. I do get alerts but no sound. Please advise.

We are all in the same situation. It is very annoying. We have to get people to let Apple and Facebook know. It is not my phones (I have a 4 and a 5), because Facely HD, which is an app that accesses Facebook, works fine as does everything on both phone (native functions, native apps and non-native apps).

Adobe Plugins are not working for Firefox or Explorer 8

HI There,
my firefox and explorer do not open adobe reader files any more. IN firefox it opens it in a different viewer and when it prints it prints the document as an artifact and the letters are not clear (almost looks like a blurry .jpg). The plug in is installed but when I go to adobe reader under preferences then internet it says that the program is not available. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling acrobat and it still does not work. I intalled the latest Java thinking that was the issue but still the same. I can not find a way to delete and reinstall the plugins in Firefox or Explorer. Are they built into the new Adobe Reader?

Can you guide me on how to change it to adobe reader as the default. I can't figure out where this option is.
I have to get access to the computer with the probloem to pull up the error message when trying to open a pdf file in Explorer. I think it says that it can`t find the program or to try shutting adobe down and try again.

Why maps are not working for India on iPad 3?

I live in india and when my operating system was ios 5.1.1. I can search places in iPad and get direction from any place any where but after downloading ios 6 my maps are good but they are not searching place if I ask directions for any place it says that directions are not available.

To make it even more confusing, i have since reconnected the iPad to my PC and done the following:
1) Added the missing songs (iTunes was recognising that the iPad did in fact have those songs despite not being visible on the library)
STILL A PROBLEM - logged back on to iPad, not available on the music library
2) Did a search on iPad for the band, list of songs found, but when selected to play in Music library, nothing happens, just displays list of artists without the one i want
3) Reconnected to PC, deleted the music, and then manually added to iPad

Seems like i am forever doomed not to have this band on my iPad

Yes phone will automatically backup to icloud when on wifi and phone is charge, but your phone storage was full so it stop backing up.
