Flip book component in new version of Flash Cs

Hi all,
Realy i've thinking many times to have a plugin in adobe flash, that will include a flip book component wich will be easy to build an online magazine for our real estate agency in marrakesh, i've used the latest trial version of adobe flash Cs5 but it enable to work with as i am a not programmer. But hope that one day get it.

Flipping Book Component zoom in page question

Hello,
I have a flipping book component that works well. It has also a zoom button and function that also works but too well. It zooms too much.
I would like to have it zoom in less, but I cant find out how to adjust the zoom percent.

The lack of formatting (indentations) makes that much code very difficult to both read and follow logically, and with the amount of it, I decided it was better for you to try to find it than me after a quick glance failed to locate it. That said... the function was just a line away from the line that prompted me to want to see it...

Flipping Book Component page turning button

Hello,
I have a flipping book component. It come with the basic page turning function where the user can turn each page manually. Because there are many chapters,I created buttons under the pages so that the user can navigate directly to specific pages. I can not find and create the code
to attach to each button to make the pages flip directly to the indicated page? The component uses AS2, im sure this is helpful.

Nope... I worked my way up to what I know by digging in and learning as I go. There is no "Limitless" pill you can take to get you there quickly. MAke a copy of what you have and dig in and learn how it works.

How do I uninstall an older version of Flash from my iMac 10.9.5, running Safari 7.0.5. YouTube tells me I need the new version of Flash. I've downloaded it 5 times but it won't install when I click on "Install Adobe Flash."

Safari 1.3.2 is the newest version for Mac OS X 10.3.9. You need to upgrade to Mac OS X 10.4 to get a newer version; a G3's maximum OS is 10.4.11.

Why can't I install the newer version of Flash when I already have the older one?

My virus software is turned off. I have Flash currently on my computer. In the troubleshooting page I can see the clouds in the picture so I know my current flash is working. I went into the internet settings for add-ons and the flash is currently enabled. Why can't I install the newer version of Flash? I tried the run and save option and it still didn't work. I can see the installer in my downloads folder. But, all I get is a black blank box that does nothing. What else can I try to get the installer to actually install the updated version of flash?

I have a similar problem than sam6sam had except that I'm on Safari. After the Mountain Lion security update I did last Friday, I had to update Flash. I installed .149, deinstalled, restarted, reinstalled .149 about 2 dozens times and it didn't work. Yesterday I saw that you had .167 and thought "finally they will have fixed this issue". After doing the same deinstall restart and install routine another dozen time, I give up!

It looks like it's installed. When I go into System Preference Flash Player shows "Plug-in version 11.6.602.167 is installed.", yet when I want to see a flash video it tells me that I don't have the software and need to install it. My Safari Preferences allow for Pop-up and Enable Plug-in. My "open 'safe' files after downloading" is clicked.
I've search all of Adobe, Apple and other geeky website's "help" area, and nothing I tried worked, including the "sudo" commands in the terminal (the answer to this one is "command not found").
I'm really frustrated by this. There is certainly something that I overlooked, but I cannot figure it out. Help!

Is the new version of Flash player compatible with FF 3.6.17?

I updated to the new version of Flash - 10.3.181.26 - because of some sort of problem with the old version. Now FF does not recognize Flash as being installed. I have both versions in .mozilla/plugins. I use .new and .old as the extension for the one I am not using. Version 10.3.d162 works when it is .so. 10.3.181 does not.

There are a number of active threads concerning the latest Flash player plugin (11.3) and the latest Firefox (13). Not all users are experiencing the same issues, but things to check include the following:
- Conflict with Realplayer Browser Record plugin (to disable this, open Add-ons from the orange Firefox button or the classic Tools menu and look under the Extensions and Plugins categories)
- Conflict with Flash 11.3 Protected Mode (see [http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1018071?tstart=0 Adobe Forums: How do I disable Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?])

How to avoid installing newer version of flash player

After installing the newer version of flash player it caused troubles to me, and I don't see any way but to install an older version of Flash Player, however after I have installed it the game forces me to Install the newest version of Flash Player, otherwise it cannot run. So here is my question. How can I use an older version of Flash Player I had before without installing the newer version of it?

Hi, You can go to this test site to see if you have Flash Player Installed on your 10.6.5 Mac.

Then this link has info on how to Uninstall Flash Player (if needed) and Install the latest version. It is a step by step.

Flash Player is a browser plugin and as long as your browser is supported by Adobe Flash Player, then you shouldn't have any problem.

Nope still nothing going incognito, or doing it through different browsers. I guess the other thing is a an online picture editing program told me I needed to update my flash, so I tried to install it several time but am not sure if it actually did. Now some video players (that had previously worked) command me that I need a newer version of Flash. What happened?

I read on the TUAW.com site this AM that Adobe released a new version of Flash Player (8.0.24) that closes a security hole. Keeping a security hole around doesn't sound like a great idea so I went to update.
Well after updating Flash Player on my MBP I get a missing plugin warning with Safari. The new version works find on Safari on my old PB and also with FireFox on my MBP. So seems this is either a problem with the Universal Binary version of Safari or it's just a funky issue with my MBP.
Anyone else having this problem?

There's a note at the bottom (in the RSS feed at least) that this update isn't for Intel Mac's. Not sure where that leaves us in terms of the security hole tho! If you need to restore the Intel Flash plugin, search this forum and there are a few threads with solutions.. Cheers,

Its simple: any advanced feature that would improve the performance has to be adressed by the code you write to be useful.
So say in Flash 12 Adobe Introduces Stage4D, simply publishing your existing Flash 11 work that uses Stage3D will not use the Stage4D Features present in Flash 12,
you would have very likely to rewrite some of your code to profit from the benefits.
So recompiling on its own, will do nothing useful for you.

You can get Flash CC to publish to version 9 player by putting these two files in these locations:

You may need to create the FP9 folder.
Restart flash and you should see Player 9 in your publish options. You'll have to find the AS3 clickTag code.

Is there a way to create a flip book with the InDesign version contained in Creative Cloud?

InDesign is the same in Creative Cloud as it is as a standalone producate and it's the same as the one contained in any bundles that include it. The exception being that you have access to both the Mac and PC versions purchasing via the subscription model (Creative Cloud).
I have not created a flip book in InDesign, but if InDesign is capable of doing it, then InDesign as purchased apart of the Creative Cloud, is capable of it.
Download the demo of InDesign CS6 to see. If you purchase a Creative Cloud account later on, you don't need to reinstall, just authorize by logging into your Adobe account.
