Float container issue

i needed to add a previous and next button outside a container for sub pages - so i created a second container to accomadate the extra space but its not working
heres a twin page - everything lays out properly

A repeating plug-in container issue

I am trying to update Roboform and everything seems fine until I get to the Roboform Landing where it lists all of the fixes, and then an error message pops up that says:

hi all - I have a similar problem with flash - basically the plugin crashes pretty much every time I am not looking at it directly (playing online games in tabs for example)
I have tried disabling the "memory-safe-away-time-out thingee" in config:about - to no avail. I have also tried disabling all other plugins (not that I actually have many - Java, VLC, quicktime, some windows stuff), have set themes to default, have made sure all plugins are latest version.
currently running the 4.0.b2 Firefox version cause of the plug in crashes in the 3.6.8 version - same problem though.
and where it gets really strange is that a friendly help person on the adobe site suggested I upgrade my firefox to version 3.8 (while I was on the 3.6.8 version) and that would fix it. which I thought was.. interesting as 3.6.8 is the latest version as Firefox upgrade check insisted.
by now i have invested at least 4 days trying to fix this issue and I gotta say... I am tempted to actually try other browsers, though firefox is my default browser since years.

Float/ Positioning Issue

If you click 'Industrial Chillers', you can see im having trouble positing a div.
There is an image and a div called ‘leftdiv’. I want leftdiv to sit next to the image. So long as the image is taller than than the div, everything works fine.
However if the content in the div is taller than the image, then when the content gets below the image, it doesn't stay inline with the content above, and instead moves to the left.

How can i fix this? If I float leftdiv to the left and specify a width then i can make it work but i dont want to have to specify a width for each one.

In a word, yes. When you set a div to "float", you have taken it out of the sequence of your page and your following content will 'flow' up around it. If the following content runs deeper than your floated div, it will 'wrap' your div.
To guard against this when you want your content to 'fall down straight and not wrap', you will set a margin on your content that is wider than your floated div, like this:

and set the html like this:

Plugin-container issue. Works in v 3.6 but not in 12.0

So im having a issue here.
I love the 3.6.28 Firefox version as its simple and fastest for my Slow PC.
I though installed the new 12.0 version as FF decided not to support 3.6 anymore and was hugely disappointed with how slow it is.
Anyway my issue:
Ive disabled plugin container in 3.6 due to eating up my RAM.

Installed FF 12.0 and i now suddenly i see 2x plugin container running at the same time. When i disable it again the same way i did in v 3.6 I cant play my favourite game anymore as its all grey when the game launches. Its called Quakelive.com and is runned through the web. So i went back to v 3.6.
Can i work around this somehow? I dont like having the plugin container eating my RAM. And the point it actually did work in the earlier version 3.6 it should work now?
What i want is do disable plugin container and still be able to run flash, java etc just like the way i have in v 3.6.
I hope someone has an idea. Thanks!

I forgot to ask you. What is your Java version? It is possible a old version of Java on your system is being blocked by Firefox because of some security risk.

Firefox crashing---most likely related to the plugin container issue, but also unable to uninstall firefox, there is no prompt that opens when I try to.

Like many others, I've been having issues with firefox since the update. The plugin container seems to crash my browser, or freeze the whole of my computer, and I must restart. I've switched to internet explorer for now.
Moreover, now Firefox doesn't even seem to open now. I doubleclick on the icon, or try to launch the browser in any way, and it looks like it thinks about opening, but nothing ever occurs. I've watched my system processes, and firefox.exe appears for a moment, and then disappears, like its process has ended, but I've done nothing.
Additionally, I can't even seem to uninstall firefox---the uninstall setup doesn't open, and trying to do it from add/remove programs on windows xp doesn't seem to work either.
I also sometimes get an error that says windows can't find a file/path, related to a 'profile' but haven't had that for a day or so---since I can't even open firefox now.

Flash container issue

I am facing a issue in Flash container. I am having a project which has main container which call different SWFs into it. Now I call this main container file into another container, and their problem starts. Many option doesn't work properly which generally have _root, _parent etc...
If I want to run project (main container SWF and child SWFs) into another container file which place on a website. I want to show whole project from this container file so what I need to do? Please help....

In your Main SWF, set the _lockroot property to "true". This should make sure that any child SWFs that is loaded into your Main SWF to refer it as the _root or _parent.

Firefox crashes: Plugin-Container Issue

After the second-to-last update, I started noticing an increase in browser crashes. The issue is always that the Plugin-Container has stopped working. I understand that the plugin container's function is to prevent such problems, but it does not appear to be working. I have the latest version of Firefox, updates, etc, but that doesn't seem to be helping. Crash reports have been sent to Mozilla, but the problem is ongoing. I use my browser heavily in both standard and incognito mode for business. I've used Firefox for a long time, but if I keep losing information mid-process, I'm going to have to consider other options. If anyone has any experience with the problem or suggestions on a possible solution, that would be greatly appreciated.

Tumblr.com. The way the site is set up, I don't believe it shuts down images, etc, once you've loaded and passed them. It's endless scrolling, so that could potentially be a lot of loaded data.

Windsor Castle Container Issue...

Has anyone observed this bug with Windsor container, This is a example of the problem that i am facing. Class A Implements Interface I, and both A & I are registered with the container as Singleton. During application Load 'class A' is resolved and some
processing is done. During the application log out the container instance is disposed off. when we log in to the same application again and when 'class A' gets resolved we still get the same object that was resolved before the container was disposed. This
was reconfirmed many times by comparing the Hashcode of the object.
This seems to be issue and really do not understand logically how the same object gets returned even after container object is set to null in the dispose method during the log-out procedure.
Look forward to a reasonable logic from other great minds.

This is a third party question and whilst you might have a wpf app uses windsor, it's not a wpf question.
As a result you may well find your question disappears into some other forum and you might not get very much help.

If you close an application and it's gone, dead... It's a gonner.
Nothing of that app is going to be there in memory.
There is no instance of any class to be resolved the next time you start that application up.
It therefore cannot be the same instance of that class.
Unless you have something which remains in memory.
It could well be that the same hashcode is returned when you instantiate something. I dunno.
But I don't see how you can possibly literally have the same object.
Unless you're doing something weird like persisting it.
Even then, it's not literally the same object but it could have the same properties set.

Thanks for getting back. Isn't is so that ta must be an integer to be passed onto date_and_time ? So is your suggestion to do something like

3D full screen and floating window issue

hey everyone,
since the new pdf viewer (adobe acrobat 10) released i've got an issue with the 3d fullscreen and the floating window.
the first photo below shows the default view in a 3d scene. if i'm selecting the floating window (or the fullscreen) there is a problem with the camera (position, targetPosition and the behavior).so the view is wrong and the position of all nodes in it, and up to now i am unable to fix it
Does anyone has this problem as well and can help me?

i was on holiday for 5 days now so sorry my late answer. I tried to set the default view in the u3d model but it doesn't work as well
i loaded up a file that does not work in fullscreen as well as in the floating window (http://www.fileuploadx.de/76685).
The javascript errors at startup were evoked, because i deleted some models that aren't needed but the javascript tries to load it. But they don't have any effect to the scene so far.
In the floating window (or fullscreen) something with the camera must be wrong. I deleted the buttons (you can see as billboards in the scene) and then it works. So i tried to figure out the problem and let me displayed the position of the camera after each rendering event simple by (console.println(scene.cameras.getByIndex(0).position). Even if I displayed all cameras, that were about 50 surprisingly, it was the same overall. If the scene is embedded in the pdf document the camera position changed as it has to be. In the floating window and in the fullscreen i did not record any changes of the camera ...
does anybody has an idea ?!

How do i fix a flash "plug-in container" issue (ff indicates most recent version is installed)

Ive been on numerous fix-it sites but cant find a solution i understand or can get to work. the problem still occurs in safe mode and with only shockwave flash enabled (this seems to be the issue) and after numerous reinstalls, i have also deleted all i can find of adobe and shockwave then reinstalled to no avail :(

Container issue

Hey. I posted a question on this before, but couldnt get a reply, problably too much code, so I thought I would try again but try to cut down on things. Basically, I load images from an xml file, and then use this method to add them each to their own container

I basically want to reuse all this code from many events, so in order to do this, I need to clear all my containers if they are holding an image. Just for info, photoContainer is a sprite, and added directly to the stage. arrayThumb is an array holding images to be displayed. So, too empty the array, and to remove all the containers, I am trying

My thinking behind this was if photoContainer has any children named "thumb", it should remove all photoContainers (didnt know how to do this). It should also remove all elements of array, then it should call loadXML. I think I am on the right tracks on removing all the photoContainers if any exist, but how can I get rid of them?

Additionally, it never appears to even go into the if statement, even if a photoContainer exist, so think this might be slightly wrong aswell.

XML import into floating fields issue

Probably missing something obvious, but my searches are coming up blank. Here's the workflow I'm shooting for:<br /><br />-Create form1 in LCD<br />-User fills out form and submits via email the XML data<br />-Create form2 in LCD that uses floating text fields to create a dynamic text document based on the info in form1<br />-Import XML data from form1 into form2<br />-Print form2<br /><br />Most of it works, but there is a subform on form1 that form2 doesn't import the data from.<br /><br />The XML winds up like this:<br /><variable1>Variable 1 Info</variable1><br /><variable2>Variable 2 Info</variable2><br /><subform><br /><variable3>Variable 3 Info</variable3><br /><variable4>Variable 4 Info</variable4><br /></subform><br /><br />In this example, form2 properly imports variable1 and variable2, but ignores variable3 and variable4. The answer appears to lie in the hierarchy and naming. All forms, pages, subforms, etc. have to be named exactly the same and have the same hierarchical flow for the floating text fields to bind properly to imported data. This kind of blows for my purposes, as "form2" had my text fields spread across multiple pages and multiple subforms. Naming all the subforms the same as the subform in "form1" made the first one work, but none of the subsequent.
If anyone has any alternative thoughts, I'd appreciate it. My workaround is to put ALL of my text fields in form1 on the same level, and then call them out one by one in the scripting to make the ones I want visible or hidden. Wrapping them in a subform just causes too much trouble down the line. Ugly, but functional.
