Windsor Castle Container Issue...

Has anyone observed this bug with Windsor container, This is a example of the problem that i am facing. Class A Implements Interface I, and both A & I are registered with the container as Singleton. During application Load 'class A' is resolved and some
processing is done. During the application log out the container instance is disposed off. when we log in to the same application again and when 'class A' gets resolved we still get the same object that was resolved before the container was disposed. This
was reconfirmed many times by comparing the Hashcode of the object.
This seems to be issue and really do not understand logically how the same object gets returned even after container object is set to null in the dispose method during the log-out procedure.
Look forward to a reasonable logic from other great minds.

This is a third party question and whilst you might have a wpf app uses windsor, it's not a wpf question.
As a result you may well find your question disappears into some other forum and you might not get very much help.
I don't really follow the question.
If you close an application and it's gone, dead... It's a gonner.
Nothing of that app is going to be there in memory.
There is no instance of any class to be resolved the next time you start that application up.
It therefore cannot be the same instance of that class.
Unless you have something which remains in memory.
It could well be that the same hashcode is returned when you instantiate something. I dunno.
But I don't see how you can possibly literally have the same object.
Unless you're doing something weird like persisting it.
Even then, it's not literally the same object but it could have the same properties set.

A repeating plug-in container issue

I am trying to update Roboform and everything seems fine until I get to the Roboform Landing where it lists all of the fixes, and then an error message pops up that says:
Can not load RoboForm add-on
Please restart browser or reinstall RoboForm

hi all - I have a similar problem with flash - basically the plugin crashes pretty much every time I am not looking at it directly (playing online games in tabs for example)
I have tried disabling the "memory-safe-away-time-out thingee" in config:about - to no avail. I have also tried disabling all other plugins (not that I actually have many - Java, VLC, quicktime, some windows stuff), have set themes to default, have made sure all plugins are latest version.
currently running the 4.0.b2 Firefox version cause of the plug in crashes in the 3.6.8 version - same problem though.
and where it gets really strange is that a friendly help person on the adobe site suggested I upgrade my firefox to version 3.8 (while I was on the 3.6.8 version) and that would fix it. which I thought was.. interesting as 3.6.8 is the latest version as Firefox upgrade check insisted.
by now i have invested at least 4 days trying to fix this issue and I gotta say... I am tempted to actually try other browsers, though firefox is my default browser since years.

Plugin-container issue. Works in v 3.6 but not in 12.0

So im having a issue here.
I love the 3.6.28 Firefox version as its simple and fastest for my Slow PC.
I though installed the new 12.0 version as FF decided not to support 3.6 anymore and was hugely disappointed with how slow it is.
Anyway my issue:
Ive disabled plugin container in 3.6 due to eating up my RAM.

Installed FF 12.0 and i now suddenly i see 2x plugin container running at the same time. When i disable it again the same way i did in v 3.6 I cant play my favourite game anymore as its all grey when the game launches. Its called Quakelive.com and is runned through the web. So i went back to v 3.6.
Can i work around this somehow? I dont like having the plugin container eating my RAM. And the point it actually did work in the earlier version 3.6 it should work now?
What i want is do disable plugin container and still be able to run flash, java etc just like the way i have in v 3.6.
I hope someone has an idea. Thanks!

I forgot to ask you. What is your Java version? It is possible a old version of Java on your system is being blocked by Firefox because of some security risk.

Firefox crashing---most likely related to the plugin container issue, but also unable to uninstall firefox, there is no prompt that opens when I try to.

Like many others, I've been having issues with firefox since the update. The plugin container seems to crash my browser, or freeze the whole of my computer, and I must restart. I've switched to internet explorer for now.
Moreover, now Firefox doesn't even seem to open now. I doubleclick on the icon, or try to launch the browser in any way, and it looks like it thinks about opening, but nothing ever occurs. I've watched my system processes, and firefox.exe appears for a moment, and then disappears, like its process has ended, but I've done nothing.
Additionally, I can't even seem to uninstall firefox---the uninstall setup doesn't open, and trying to do it from add/remove programs on windows xp doesn't seem to work either.
I also sometimes get an error that says windows can't find a file/path, related to a 'profile' but haven't had that for a day or so---since I can't even open firefox now.

Flash container issue

I am facing a issue in Flash container. I am having a project which has main container which call different SWFs into it. Now I call this main container file into another container, and their problem starts. Many option doesn't work properly which generally have _root, _parent etc...
If I want to run project (main container SWF and child SWFs) into another container file which place on a website. I want to show whole project from this container file so what I need to do? Please help....

In your Main SWF, set the _lockroot property to "true". This should make sure that any child SWFs that is loaded into your Main SWF to refer it as the _root or _parent.

Firefox crashes: Plugin-Container Issue

After the second-to-last update, I started noticing an increase in browser crashes. The issue is always that the Plugin-Container has stopped working. I understand that the plugin container's function is to prevent such problems, but it does not appear to be working. I have the latest version of Firefox, updates, etc, but that doesn't seem to be helping. Crash reports have been sent to Mozilla, but the problem is ongoing. I use my browser heavily in both standard and incognito mode for business. I've used Firefox for a long time, but if I keep losing information mid-process, I'm going to have to consider other options. If anyone has any experience with the problem or suggestions on a possible solution, that would be greatly appreciated.

Tumblr.com. The way the site is set up, I don't believe it shuts down images, etc, once you've loaded and passed them. It's endless scrolling, so that could potentially be a lot of loaded data.

Tile Container issue

When the Tile container’s direction property is set to “horizontal” you can see that the children are laid out left to right then top to bottom, like:

How do i fix a flash "plug-in container" issue (ff indicates most recent version is installed)

Hello. to start with im not really up on the ins and outs of ff, ive used it for a while but not really tinkered with till this problem

Ive been on numerous fix-it sites but cant find a solution i understand or can get to work. the problem still occurs in safe mode and with only shockwave flash enabled (this seems to be the issue) and after numerous reinstalls, i have also deleted all i can find of adobe and shockwave then reinstalled to no avail :(

Container issue

Hey. I posted a question on this before, but couldnt get a reply, problably too much code, so I thought I would try again but try to cut down on things. Basically, I load images from an xml file, and then use this method to add them each to their own container

I basically want to reuse all this code from many events, so in order to do this, I need to clear all my containers if they are holding an image. Just for info, photoContainer is a sprite, and added directly to the stage. arrayThumb is an array holding images to be displayed. So, too empty the array, and to remove all the containers, I am trying

My thinking behind this was if photoContainer has any children named "thumb", it should remove all photoContainers (didnt know how to do this). It should also remove all elements of array, then it should call loadXML. I think I am on the right tracks on removing all the photoContainers if any exist, but how can I get rid of them?

Additionally, it never appears to even go into the if statement, even if a photoContainer exist, so think this might be slightly wrong aswell.

In my program before i start the workflow i append 3 lines on the table..
line 1 = SPACE
line 2 = 10000
line 3 = 20000
i already check the FM which startS the workflow..
3 lines were appended to table...
but when i validate the container at swi2_freq..
only 2 entries where posted..line 1 was not inserted in the container..
during my investigation..i discovered that the first line of the table was not appended..
in the method CHECK_ALL
it has a code which disregards the value of the element if the first entry of the table is initial...
i have no idea regarding this logic.
can anyone explain to me why this method was added to ECC6?
this method is not available at 4.6c...

Are you sure it's not returning the width of your LoadImage
button?

Float container issue

i needed to add a previous and next button outside a container for sub pages - so i created a second container to accomadate the extra space but its not working

Tab Container Issue - Graph not plotting.

Hi All,
I am currently working on cost model which is split into two tab containers. the first tab contains the graph (Model) while the other tab contains the adjustable variables (Assumptions). The graph is dependent on the adjustable variables in the assumption tab.
The model was working correctly until 8 additional spinners and check boxes were added to the assumptions tab. Now the elements of the graph (lines are bars) do not plot. The graph is based on the variables in the Assumption Tab.
Have anyone encountered this before? I've checked all my forumals, links for both the graph and the spinners. All are mapped correctly.

Actually I do know already several working solutions, to avoid this problem. You mentioned some of these.
But here I am purely interested about this behaviour. Is this a bug, or this is a normal behaviour? Like LabView saves system resources, so If we do not see a graph on the front panel, it does not update its values? (i mean the cursor values).
So I would like to see and understand whats going on when someone runs this particular example. (so I do not use this in a real project, this is only to show and examine this behaviour).
Also a bit dirty workaround: I could set the first TAB page via property node, when I run the code, so we always get the required result...
Anyone who could explain how a graph works in this example?

After Update to 19.0, Crash Frequently and Plug-in Container Issues

Ever since I updated to FF 19.0, I noticed that FF crash more often than usual, without any reason (I was in the middle of reading a website). And also the plug-in container for Adobe Flash kept consuming high cpu usage, thus slow down or even freeze FF. I have to end it before FF back to normal.
Am I the only one has problem or it's a bug in FF 19 waiting to be fixed?
Any suggestions/comments are much appreciated. Thank you.
PS: No add-on has been added, and I have cleared cache often.

CMP Beans from Tables: Why does the Container try to create new tables?

I'm trying to develop an EJB application using JDeveloper on 9iAS. I have several CMPs and have my tables that I want my CMPs to be based on already defined in my DB schema. I want to use CMP but I don't want the Container to create the tables, rather I want the Container to map my CMP EJBs to the already existing tables.
The issue is:
While creating these CMP EJBs in JDeveloper I chose the "New Enterprise Java Bean" EJB creation wizard using the option labeled "Container-managed Entity Beans from Tables". My assumption is that this does what I want, because the wizard prompts for a schema and table you want to map to. Then it creates the attributes & getter/setter methods, PK class, etc. all based on the table defintion automatically. Great. So why when I try to run my application do I get error messages for each EJB such as:
Auto-creating table: create table STREET_TYPE (PK_STYP_ID NUMBER(8), STREET_TYPE VARCHAR2(20), primary key (PK_STYP_ID, STREET_TYPE))
Warning: Error creating table: ORA-00955: name is already used by an existing object
Huh?? I thought the idea is that the CMP EJB is mapped to the existing table in my schema. Why is the Container trying to create new tables?? Is this possible? Or am I missing something fundamental about how Containers create and manage CMPs? Or is this just a JDevelop container issue? TIA

Oracle9iAS (9.0.2.0.0) Containers for J2EE initialized
If so, in the application.xml file of you
OC4J instance the is a setting autocreate-tables,
which by default is true!
Set it to false as below and that should clear up
your problem.

default-data-Hmm. I found at least a dozen or so files with that name and set everyone that had this attriute to "false", restarted the OC4J server and still got these errors.
