FLV and SWF Joining and Resizing - Help?!?!
Greets,
My wife is a copy writer, and as part of her portfolio, she has to go and capture the end result once it has been shot. In the current perplexing case, a web site has a small speaking host who will occasionally point to the right at an animation. The host is on the site as a FLV and the animation is a SWF. I guess it makes sense for them, but it certainly seems like they could have gone the extra mile to make it one file.
Anyway, I have captured the FLV and the SWF, but am having a VERY hard time combining them, even after reencoding both into AVI. For the most part, they are very different dimensions, and when all is said and done, the result is blocky probably because the exported dimensions are too big.
My main problem is that the video size is set at the time you set up a project, and no amount of trial and error on my part has allowed me to figure out what to set that to.
Any help on any of this is greatly appreciated!

THE Self join works fine as long as it is hardcoded.
But assume there can br multiple such situations as the above,and I dont want to
hardcode the values,how can I build the NEW REPORT by SELF JOINING.

Firefox will not show links to flv files. I get the error message for each flv file: "File not found. Firefox can't find the file at http:// (path) .flv." Any mov and swf files in this same path will show. I can see the videos in Safari so the paths are correct.

Controlling FLV and SWF scrubbing at the same time
I have a flash project with an imported swf animation and an
imported flv video. So far I have made a play and pause button that
can play and pause both objects at the same time. Is there way to
make a scrub bar that can control scrubbing through both objects at
the same time.
The FLV and the SWF are the same length and all the
animations in the SWF file are timed to a separate audio file from
the flv I am using so when the flash file is play without any
controls, the swf and the flv play n sync. I have been able to make
separate scrub bars that control the video and the swf separately
but when ever I try to combine the code it does not seem to work.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this starting from
scratch?

Select your Time Capsule on the left.

When in the Wi-Fi menu under settings, my iPod five will display the different wifi networks in range, including my home wifi network. The shown network has full bars and my laptop will connect to the network with no trouble. When the wifi on my ipod is selected though, it will show it is loading to connect, it will actually connect for five-ten or sometimes twenty seconds, and then it will disconnect. The wifi never automatically connects on my iPod5. It always has to be done manually and then does not establish a complete connection. No matter where I stand in the house, even if it is right beside the router, this happens. Sometimes when the network is chosen it refuses to connect and gives the message "Unable to Join". I've had it for a year and a half and for about the first six months it never had this problem. But then it began, and it would go through monthly cycles of working perfectly and doing what it is doing now. As of now I haven't been able to connect for three months. I'd like to think it's simply the wifi itself but mine and my sibling's laptops will connect with no trouble. It's extremely frustrating and I have no idea how to handle the problem. Please help?
Hey Saanasaana, Have you tried going into Settings>General>Reset and tapping Reset All Settings. If still no joy... Reset Network Settings and rebooting the router. If that doesn't do it, try Settings then tap the offending Wi-Fi Network, then tap Forget this Network and re-load it, as if it was a new network.
Your next options are to Restore. Connect to your iPod with your computer with the cable, and make new backups / copies of all your stuff to your computer first, then Restore from Backup. If that does not solve, Restore to New, a full restore. Note restore to new will wipe you iPod put it back to factory specs, that's why your need to make backups of everything on your iPod before you do it so you can reload your stuff back to your iPod. If the full restore does not solve you may have a hardware issue, contact your Apple store or Apple Genius Bar and set up an appointment to have your iPod evaluated. Good luck. Cheers. -

WHAT DO YOU EXPECT USERS TO IMPORT INTO FLASH ??
IF no FLV export is available under After Effects CC 2014, there is NO WAY to EMBED an flv into flash !! (Linking is NOT always what is wanted!!)
NO H264 !?!?!
HAVE YOU GONE CRAZY ?!!?!?
YOU BREAK WORKFLOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any chance of restoring such features so that it makes updating to it worthwhile ?To date I've primarily been a Photoshop user and have dealt with years of mystifying UX and workflow changes, features that are useless to me added, and critical ones taken away (I'm looking at you Bridge, you worthless piece of garbage). Maybe it's on his phone, or her iPad. What kind of phone is it though? Tell me at what point in my process it's ideal to render. Tell me about other tasks I'm performing. Tell me about the resolution and the bit-rate my files should play at. Tell me the final application I will be using the footage. Probably broadcast right? Or is it web? Or is it PowerPoint? Wait, what if there is no final output? What if it's just pre-vis for some other application?
Tell me how to win over my clients; what's the correct method of presentation to engage them most impactfully? Tell me about how much time I have to render massive video files. Is it more time efficient due to the nature of my composite to render once because my file is super shallow and will render quickly or is it more efficient to render twice because my file is extremely complex with hundreds of layers?
That the deprecated formats were hidden away in the preferences menu is dumb and annoying. That this same preference would then be removed is despicable and petty and is further confirmation that Adobe has contempt for me as a user. -

Need help with gallery showing .jpg AND .swf
Hi all,
I have an image gallery that loads images and swf-files from an XML-file. The .jpg's load and display just fine, but the .swf files won't show. The data is loaded though. Any help is greatly appreciated!

This line loads the image in the loader 'slideLoader'. This seems to work fine with image files (.jpg), but .swf files are ignored. Is it possible to load both .jpg AND .swf files in a loader, or do I have to use some other method for this?

I'm searching for a program that can take an .flv and convert it to an AS3 .swf file. Is it possible in as3, Does anybody have any ideas?

2) Link Table
3) BaseData Table
Link table has three columns Id,BaseEnvId,BaseDataId
the BaseEnvID is unique in the table where as BaseDataId can be repeated i.e multile rows of BaseEnv Table can point to same BaseData table row
Now i want to do BaseEnvTable inner join Link Table inner join BaseData Table and select 5 columsn ; Name,SyncName,Version,PPO,DOM from the BaseData table.. the problem is that after i do the inner join I get duplciate records..

As the others have said, the execution plan will give you a better idea about which is faster.
If you're trying to see how using (or not using) a sub-query affects performance, make the rest of the queries as similar as possible. For example, include field3 in both queries, or ignore field3 in both queries.
In this particular case, I guess the optimizer would do the same thing either way, but that's just a guess. I can't see your execution plans.
In general, simpler code is faster, and better in other ways, too. In this case
tableB
is simpler than
(SELECT field1, field2 FROM tableB)
Why do you want a sub-query in this example? -

The video would have whatever size it is encoded as, and then the player could display that at whatever size it desired.
