FM to create Pallet HU's with Object reference

Hi all,
Is there any FM which can be used to create a Pallet HU and assign it to Delivery or shipment. I am able to create Pallet HUs using the BAPI: "BAPI_HU_CREATE" but then I am unable to assign them to shipment or delivery. I tried using "HU_ASSIGN_HUS_TO_OBJECT" but with no luck.
Let me know a way to create Handling Units with reference object.

You have to check that
Normally when creating a sales order with respect or referring billing documents the qty will be in editable mode and it is standard problem
Your people has solved the standard problem by enhancement
Usually OR--LF-PGI----F2 (SAY THE QTY IS 25 UNITS)
Now you are creating returns order with reference to F2 in the return order type Re there is a standard issue that user can edit the qty to 30 from the original 25
To solve this only your people have used userexit
Line items and qty greyed out means definately there is some enhancement or user exit applied
You have to check that

Delete Duplicates from internal table with object references

Hi
How can I delete duplicates from an internal table in ABAP OO based on the value of one of the attributes?
I have created a method, with the following code:
LOOP AT me->business_document_lines INTO l_add_line.
    CREATE OBJECT ot_line_owner
      EXPORTING
        i_user      = l_add_line->add_line_data-line_owner
        i_busdoc = me->business_document_id.
      APPEND ot_line_owner TO e_line_owners.
ENDLOOP.
e_line_owners are defined as a table containing only object references.
One of the attribute of the object in the table is called USER. And I would like to do a "delete ADJACENT DUPLICATES FROM e_line_owners", based on that attribute.
How can do this?

Assuming that the instance attribute is <b>public </b>you could try to use the following coding:
SORT e_line_owners BY table_line->user.
DELETE ADJACENT DUPLICATES FROM e_line_owners
    COMPARING table_line->user.
However, I am not really sure (cannot test myself) whether <b>TABLE_LINE</b> can be used together with SORT and DELETE.
Alternative solution:
DATA:
     ld_idx    TYPE sy-tabix.
LOOP AT e_line_owners INTO ls_line.
    ld_idx = syst-tabix + 1.
    LOOP AT e_line_owners TRANSPORTING NO FIELDS FROM ld_idx
                   WHERE ( table_line->user = ls_line->user ).
      DELETE e_line_owners INDEX syst-tabix.
    ENDLOOP.

Service Request with Object Reference filled-out automatically

Hi CRM experts,
I'm trying to understand how is possible (if exist a customizing way) to filled-out automatically the Reference Object of the Service Request.
Process steps:
First, I have to search for the Ibase component and confirm it; then I have to search for the Account related and confirm it also. Then I'd like to create the Service Request with the Account and the Ibase component filled-out automatically.
For the Account I solved the issue by assigning the Partner Function to the Business Transaction.
Any suggestions for the Ibase component?

Create a partner determination profile. You can use procedure 0with 0000032 to copy.
IMG > CRM > Basic Functions > Partner Processing > Define Partner Determination Procedure
Assign partner determination profile it to Installed base
IMG > CRM > Master Data > Installed Base > Assign Partner Determination Procedure to Installed Base Category
Check Account identification profile, it should have Auto search checked for ICCMP_IBASE main partner approach.
IMG > CRM > Interaction Center WebClient > Master Data > Define Account Identification Profiles
In IB52 assign Account to IBase as main partner.
Now when you search for IBase and confirm, it will automatically look for the Account assigned as main partner.

SQL 2012 install fails with 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object" On windows 8.1 Hyper-V

Could you please help me here? On my Laptop which is running on windows 8.1 Operation system, I enabled the Hyper-V client feature and setup the Windows Fail-over Clustering using Windows 2012 Standard Edition. So, there are three machines which are running
on the Hyper-V. Below are the machine details;
1st machine - Working as Domain controller and its name is "ACONDomainGroup" and allocated to
1GB RAM to use.
2nd machine - Working as Node1 and its name is "AconNODE1W2K12STD"
and allocated to 2.5GB RAM to use.
3rd machine - Working as Node1 and its name is "AconNODE1W2K12STD"
and allocated to 1.5GB RAM to use.
and the windows virtual cluster name is "AconWinCLTR". While I am doing the SQL Cluster Installation, I am getting below mentioned error. all systems have 4.5 .net installed. May you please guide me where and what i am missing to complete sql clustering.....

Hi, I'm trying to install SQL 2012 RTM Enterprise on a Windows 2008 R2 single node cluster.
The installer starts goes through some checks and then fails with the message 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object.' It happens while the small 'wait while...' dialog box is
showing, another window pops up briefly (I think the feature selection window - can't really tell as it doesn't draw before disappearing). Then the ‘Object reference not set’ message comes up.

Mat4Shift - ConvertTo-NcVhdx failing with Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Hi, We're just trying to use Mat4Shift 1.7 to convert some VMware VMs into Hyper-V format and it's randomly failing at the conversion stage when running the ConvertTo-NcVhdx command. It seems to be hit and miss with VMDK files of around 40GB - it usually fails the first time around with the error above, so you clean the environment up and rerun and it will work. However, we've got a few VMs with large VMDK files - one in particular was originally a 1.2TB RDM which we connected to the VM in virtual mode and cloned. This one seems to fail pretty regularly and we cannot get it to convert. The progress bar for ConvertTo-NcVhdx (just checking but is that exactly the same command as ConvertTo-NaVhdx) somtimes doesn't get past 0%, othertimes it bombs out at 3% and the furthest it got was 20% after which it bombed out after ten minutes with the same error as above. Any ideas please or is there a limit of what the maximum size VMDK this can handle is? I've stripped off the Out-Null statement at the end but there's no other output - I've also tried manually adding the -SkipUnmap command in case it wasn't being handled properly via the Splat variable but no difference there. I've attached a redacted screenshot which also shows that the first disk (41GB) converts without issue but then the next throws a SIS clone error - is there any way to get more verbose output from this at all please? Why not
just define your class in the normal way
decide what variables you need to pass
in the methods of your class call the fm modules bdc open, bdc dynpro etc etc.
Incidently the following include will have a decent amount of code for the BDC bits.
include bdcrecx1.
A good way is to start sm35 to record what you are doing on the screen. When you've finished go to your recording in SM35 and click on CREATE PROGRAM - it will create most of the code for you including the screen fields -- you'll need to edit a bit of course as you don't need everything that will be shown.
Debugging in the CREATE PROGRAM might show you a decent generic way of generating BDC's which you could easily do via a class.
Note however using BDC's is the LEAST PREFRERRED WAY of performing work and should only be used as a LAST RESORT if there really is no other way. A lot of new BAPI's and Classes are now available which can do away with the need for BDC's in most cases.

Write the object reference into the container using the following macro instruction:

BalusC -- The line that gives me my NullPointerException is when I call the "DisplayProduct()" method. Its a dumb question, but with NetBeans how do I find out which reference could be null? I'm not very familiar with how NetBeans works with finding out how to debug. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.The IDE is com-plete-ly irrelevant. It's all about the source code.
Do you understand anyway when and why a NullPointerException is been thrown? It is a subclass of RuntimeException and those kind of exceptions are very trival and generally indicate an design/logic/thinking fault in your code.

Creating a sales order with reference/BAPI_SALESDOCUMENT_COPY

Hi,
I have to create a sales order with a reference to another order and have to change some fields in the new document.
According to SAP note 370988 the function BAPI_SALESDOCUMENT_COPY should allow to create a sales order with reference to another order.
Unfortunately it doesn't work for me.
The BAPI doesn't return an error and creates a new order but that one is incomplete.
The reason seems to be that VKORG, VTWEG and SPART aren't provided and because of that the new order can't be created completely.
I can find no way to provide these fields to the BAPI.
Has anyone used the BAPI successfully or has found another way to achieve the desired result?
I already checked
batch input: problematic because I have to change partners which are displayed in an table control which can't be controlled reliably from batch input
the second way described in the SAP note: high effort and high risk, as each data field has to be copied explicitly from one represantation to another.
Any help is appreciated.

That approach would effectively duplicate the implementation of BAPI_SALESDOCUMENT_COPY, wouldn't it?
As there is a lot more data involved than just VBAK/VBAP (e.g texts, partners, conditions, schedules) this is not only a lot more effort it's also harder to get it right, especially since there might also be copy control customization which has to be take into account.
Nevertheless I tried it and it isn't working in my case.
I' have to create a debit memo request (BUS2096) out of a sales order (BUS2032), and BAPIs SALES_ORDER_CREATE* only handle BUS2032.

I have done this,dynamically creating a sequence file in teststand programatically through c#.
Problem is
1.I created an action step and object Reference variable for the step, but i am not able to pass parameter values to the objectReference
2.I am not able to load the sequence in to the main Sequence of the sequence file in the teststand. How can I do these two things.

The DotNetModule.GetConstructorMetadataToken() and DotNetModule.GetMetadataToken() methods only return the correct Metadata Token when the member/constructor prototypes have already been loaded. Thus, in the case of your code, when you call DotNetModule.GetMetadataToken(), the method is returning -1 because the member prototype for the Step you are referring to has not yet been loaded.
That means have to do a workaround for your stuff.

Credit note with invoice reference are not concatenate in F110

When I create a credit note with invoice reference by VA01, the fields payment term, Baseline date for due date calculation, Assignment and Payment method are copied correctly from invoice to credit note, but in FI document the field invoice ref. 'BSEG-REBZG' is not filled. So when I run the transaction F110 Automathic Payment (for Italy) the invoice is rigthly payed but the credit not is included into Exceptions with the note 'No pymt possible because items with a credit bal.still exist'. If I put in the field 'BSEG-REBZG' the reference to the invoice, the one and credit note are concatenated and I have a rigth parzial payment.
There is a way to have this link when I post the Fi document by vf01-vf02 without putting it manually using FB03?

Change OBD Group with WM reference

Hi Experts,
I have created an OBD group with WM reference in VL06P. Next, I tried to create TO for group. However, if there is an OBD being locked and cannot create its follow on TO. I would like to remove that OBD from the OBD group and create another OBD group for it later on.
The problem is when I execute the first TO for group. The OBD group will marked as active and I cannot remove any OBD from it. (Am I right?)
I tried to reverse the processing status. However, it seems there's no way to change the group status. Is there any tcode for this?
Actually, I need to use this OBD group with reference is not due to 2 steps picking but I need to relate other TO with this OBD group. I only want to fill the LTAK-REFNR for other TO not related to any OBD to this OBD group. SAP only allows a OBD group with WM reference in the LTAK-REFNR field.

I tested the same in lower system and I get message/number:

I am not aware of anyway to override this behavior. I did test deleting the delivery to confirm it would disappear from the group but that would not help when the delivery is locked, hope some one else can comment
(please note: as per your comment that the delivery is locked I did not test further to process the group after removing the delivery ((if you are able to delete the delivery I would recommend a quick test to confirm that does not create any challenge with processing the remaining deliveries)

Create a site collection with dedicated content db with the help of server object model

Hi,
I have a requirement to implement a create a new site collection with dedicated content db. i have got 2 PowerShell scripts which does the same. first i will create a content db and then create the sitecollection with contentdb
parameter with the created contentdb name.
Now the site collection created must contain few doc libs and few splists with look up columns, people picker data type, multiline of text, single line of text,choice field. hence i am thinking the below approach:
1) create a web template and include sp doclibs, splists , site columns in this.
2) i am thinking of a ui design to create the below:
These are called "projects" which is actually the site collection with the doclibs, splists and must be created by sharepoint admin on click of a link in my landing page.end users access these "projects" aka
"site collections" and uploads the documents into these projects and collaborate.
so my question is : On click of a button can I create a site collection with a dedicated content db based on the web template created with the hel of server object model?
The other approach is on click of this button call the power shell script which accepts the sitecollection name and contentdb name as parameter. is this possible in server obj.model ?
passing a paramter from code behind- visual web part ui to power shell ?
and it should create the site collec based on the web template and create the content db.
my doubt #3 : will it not throw error "request timed out" when creating the site collec and contentdb from ui ?

PowerShell is just a wrapper for the object model. You shouldn't need to reference PowerShell in your feature, just create the new site collection with C# inside your feature. There's a blog post here that illustrates some code that may get you started.

How settlement rule will be created for Sales order with cost object

Dear Experts,
We are using product cost by sales order with valuated stock. In addition we are not using COPA
We also consume some materials at sales order level and at the end of month we want to do the result analysis and settlement for the same amount. In this case can any on explain how system will behave regarding settlement of sales order cost and what entries will get pass in the system.
In our case we have done below activities...
we have created sales order,
All production order activities completed till final GRN including month end activities
Material consumption against sales order
Result analysis executed
At the time of sales order settlement, system throwing error (Sender doesn't have valid receiver, please create settlement rule for sender object)
Then i checked in sales order there sales order settlement rule not defined.
I guess this settlement rule need be generated by system automatically. If not, please let me know the process of it.

the reason is that sale order always carry the revenue and production order and production period carry the cost .
cost you can settle to the Material and even management want to be settle the cost to material only in production order OR period
but in sales order when u sell the product it carry the revenue not the cost and management want see and analysis based on profitability segment are profit center level .
Prerequisites
If CO-PA is active, the system generates a settlement rule when you create the sales order. The settlement rule determines whether data is settled to other objects or other areas in Controlling. In accordance with this settlement rule, the relevant data is settled to CO-PA.
If CO-PA is not active, create a settlement rule. This settlement rule that you create manually normally contains a G/L account as a receiver (such as 399999). You can also settle costs and revenues or results analysis data to objects with revenue.
You can also settle the cost of sales calculated in results analysis to a fixed asset or a cost center. To do this, you must add to the allocation structure the results analysis cost elements under which the cost of sales is updated to the order.
The settlement rule includes a distribution rule for the sales order item. The distribution rule is made up of a settlement receiver, a settlement share, and a settlement type:
The settlement receiver (such as profitability segment or G/L account) specifies the object to which the actual costs and revenue of the sales order item are settled. The settlement receiver can be proposed through the settlement profile.
The settlement share defines the percentage or the equivalence numbers used to distribute the costs to the individual settlement receivers. The settlement share for sales order items is usually 100%. A settlement share of 100% is preset in the system.
The settlement type specifies full settlement of the sales order item. This ensures that all the data on the sales order is available for results analysis.
Settlement still takes place in each period. The revenues and the cost of sales are transferred to CO-PA by period, and the work in process and the reserves are transferred to FI.
