FMS Republishing Not Showing Stream

I'm utilizing the developer edition of FMS and am trying to republish a stream that is being broadcast with Flash Media Live Encoder (FMLE) unfortunately, I am unable to get any audio or video to display in the client application. The client app can get the stream from the published to app (e.g. CamChat) but not from the republished stream. Following is the output of the trace statements from the SSAS as well as the source for main.asc:
Error output: (to FMS Admin Console)
Rebroadcast is starting...
NetConnection> code: NetConnection.Connect.Success
Stream> code: NetStream.Publish.Start
Stream> details:
Stream> details: livestream
Stream> code: NetStream.Play.Reset
Stream> code: NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound
Stream> details: livestream
Stream> code: NetStream.Play.Stop
Stream> details: livestream
main.asc:
var localStream = "rtmp://localhost/CamChat";
application.onAppStart = function()
     application.allowDebug = true;
     trace("Rebroadcast is starting...");
application.onConnect = function( client )
     this.acceptConnection( client );
     trace("Connect client id: " + client.id);
     client.onBWDone = function( info ) {
          trace("Server onBWDone: " + info);
//---------- Rebroadcast the stream ----------//
nc = new NetConnection();
nc.connect(localStream);
nc.onStatus = function(info)
     trace("NetConnection> code: " + info.code);
     if(info.code == "NetConnection.Connect.Success")
          rebroadcast_s = new Stream.get("livestream");
          rebroadcast_s.onStatus = function(info)
               trace("Stream> code: " + info.code);
               trace("Stream> details: " + info.details);
          rebroadcast_s.play("livestream", 0, -1, true, nc);
          //rebroadcast_s.record("record");
The ultimate goal is to subscribe to stream(s) that will be coming from our Limelight FMS and record them to our local FMIS server.

So you want to publish the stream it to a remote server. For this you need to publish it to the remote server using a NetStream object. Change the code here. Here you are just doing a server side play and not multi point publishing to a remote server. It will go like this
if(info.code == "NetConnection.Connect.Success")
          ns = new NetStream(nc);
          ns.onStatus = functio(info) {
                  trace(info.code);
          rebroadcast_s = Stream.get("livestream");
          rebroadcast_s.onStatus = function(info)
               trace("Stream> code: " + info.code);
               trace("Stream> details: " + info.details);
               if (info.code == "NetStream.Publish.Start")
                    retval = ns.attach(rebroadcast_s);
                    if(retval)
                            ns.publish("livestream");
                    trace("The stream is now publishing");
          rebroadcast_s.play("livestream", -1, -1, true, nc);
Revert back in case of issues.
Thanks,
Abhishek

  • Internet Streams in Playlists do not show up on Apple TV

    I use the following setup:
    - Apple TV MD199LL/A (Software 6.0.1) just updated to the latest
    - iTunes 11.1.3 for Windows (from a Windows 7 x64)
    - iTunes 11.1.3 for MAC (from a Apple MacBook Pro x64, Maverix)
    Homesharing is turned on both computers
    From both machines I share pictures, videos and music.
    All photos, videos and music files are getting displayed  on the Apple TV menu, and can be played.
    All iTunes playlists from both machines are  getting displazed on the Apple TV
    BUT!
    If a internet stream is added to a playlist, this entry does not show on the Apple TV menu.
    If the playlist contains only internet streams the Apple TV menu says "There are no songs in this library"
    If I hit the play key on my remote, it  will randomly play the first stream in the playlist (not realy reproducable pattern)
    I can play those streams in iTunes and send it via AirPlay without problems,
    Can anyone help me with this and tell me what I'm doing wrong?
    Thank you

    You can only view that rental on the iPad. For it to show up it has to be rented directly on ATV or through a computer and streamed via home sharing

  • Why does my photo uploaded from my PC into the upload Photo Stream folder not show up on my iPhone or iPad?

    I just set up iCloud for my new iPhone 4S and iPad2. I have a PC running Windows 7. I have downloaded the iCloud for Windows 7 software. In experimenting with iCloud, I see the pictures that I took on my iPad and iPhone have been streamed to my PC, no problems there; however, I have been trying to upload only one picture (.jpg format) from my PC to iCloud and it does not show up on my iPhone or my iPad. I moved the picture into the upload folder in Photo Stream manually from my PC. I have read and reread the directions several times and I cannot see that I am missing any steps, but the picture does not show up. Has anyone else had this problem and been successful in overcoming it?
    Thanks for your help.

  • HT4101 Once pictures are moved from your camera to your iPad (using the camera connection kit), how do you get the photos off of the iPad? They do not show up in my photo stream or my iCloud.

    Once pictures are moved from your camera to your iPad (using the camera connection kit), how do you get the photos off of the iPad? They do not show up in my photo stream or my iCloud. I am able to see any photo I took on the iPad using the iPad camera (in iTunes, photo stream, or when I open windows explorer and browse the iPad director), however I cannot see any photos transfered from my camera to the iPad. The camera connection kit must have put my photos in a directory I cannot get to and cannot sync.

  • When I'm streaming photos to ipad from my PC, those will be in a streamed area. They do not show up in "pictures", and I'm not able to put them into an album. I'm using icloud. Are there any solutions of my problem?

    I would like to make an album at my Ipad. The first pictures I transfered, did get into "pictures", and I could make a photo album. Later I did get them into streamed areas, but they did not get any ways to make an album. They did not apply to "pictures", and when I make an album and tries to import the pictures, the streamed pictures do not show up. What can be done?

  • Photos taken on iPhone are not showing up in my photo stream so not appearing on ipad

    I took photos on my iPhone yesterday and tried to view on the ipad but did not show up and also are not in my photo stream. Tried turning wifi off and on and resetting the iPhone. Did not help. Any ideas.

    Make sure ipad is signed in with same apple id in icloud.
    Make sure photo stream is on, on both devices.
    Make sure camera app is closed on iphone.
    Turn off photo stream wait a minute,turn back on, on both devices.
    Powercycle both devices.

  • Photo Stream photos not showing up in Photos Collections

    I've noticed on my iPhone 5s, many photos from Photo Stream are not appearing in the "Photos" tab where I can view photos by year, collections, moments, etc.  I have many Photo Stream photos appearing, but it is sporadic.
    On my iPad, all Photo Stream photos appear in the Photos tab just fine.
    I've attached a screen shot from each of my devices as an example.  Both devices are pulling from the same Photo Stream, so theoretically, they should be showing the same photos.  My iPad shows 10 photos.  My iPhone shows 2 (shows 3 in the screen grab because one is a video).
    How can I force the Photos tab to update to reflect all the photos in my Photo Stream?

    I FIGURED OUT THE ISSUE.  But no resolution.
    It appears that my iPhone 5s's Photos tab only shows Photo Stream photos of photos RECEIVED from other devices, but not Photo Stream photos of photos that ORIGINATED on my iPhone.  Does this make sense?  Here's an example:
    1) Take Photo A on iPhone
    2) Take Photo B on iPad
    3) Allow Photo A and Photo B to upload to Photo Stream
    4) See Photo A and B in Photo Stream on both devices
    5) See Photo A and B in Photos tab on both devices.
    6) Delete the camera roll copy of Photo A from the iPhone.
    7) Photo A is now MISSING from the Photos tab of iPhone, but is still viewable in iPhone Photo Stream
    THUS =  Photos tab is not accessing Photo Stream
    I can replicate this on my iPad
    4) See Photo A and B in Photo Stream on both devices
    5) See Photo A and B in Photos tab on both devices.
    6) Delete the camera roll copy of Photo B from the iPad.
    7) Photo B is now MISSING from the Photos tab of iPad, but is still viewable in iPad Photo Stream
    This appears to be some way to prevent duplications on your local device.  Apple doesn't want you to see the Photo Stream copy and the Camera Roll copy BOTH in the Photos tab.  However, if you delete the Camera Roll copy, the Photo Stream copy DOES NOT appear in the Photos tab.  This is dumb because I delete the Camera Roll copy as soon as it finishes uploading to Photo Stream.  There is no reason to keep both copies on your iOS device.  However, now I can't enjoy the Photo Stream photos in the Photos tab.

  • Photos not showing up in photo stream after being imported to iPhoto from a DSLR camera?

    I have a DSLR camera and for the longest time, I would import photos from a shoot to iPhoto and after about 20 minutes they would have all shown up in my photo stream on my Mac and my iPhone. But recently, the photos will not show up on either photo stream and trying to share a new photo stream with myself never works. Help?

    Hi there,
    I would recommend taking a look at some of the troubleshooting steps found in the article below.

  • Photo stream not showing up in iphoto

    Upgraded iPhone 4 to iOS 5 and enabled photo stream and upgraded iPhoto on my MacBook Pro and enabled photo stream on it as well but new pics taken on iPhone are not showing up in iPhoto. Any ideas?

    I am having exactly the same issue so would be very keen to find out how to fix it.

  • Photo stream not showing up in iCloud.

    My photo stream is not showing up in my iCloud account. My settings on my iPhone all indicate that it should be backed up there. Can someone help?

    You can't view Photo Stream photos at iCloud.com, if that's what you're trying to do. You view them on your computer or iOS device, & remember, they are only in Photo Stream for 30 days or 1000 photos.

  • HT201317 The photo stream flower icon is not showing up on my icloud account?! Why?

    The photo stream flower icon is not showing up on my icloud account.  The only icons are Mail, contacts, calendar and iwrok.  What can I do??

    Basically Apple actually took away the Gallery capability we used to have with me.com when they replaced it with Photo Stream. So there is no way to see on the web, nor send a URL to friends to share the pictures like you used to be able to do with Gallery. To do that, you will need to push those photos to an external service such as Snapfish or Flickr or a social media site.

  • A few photos not showing up in My Photo Stream in iPhoto

    I recently took a few hundred pictures and uploaded them to iPhoto 9.6.1, which is set to automatically upload new photos to iCould.  All of them uploaded as I can verify on an iPhone, iPad, and a MacBook, but three of them aren't showing up in My Photo Stream on the original computer.  They do show up in Photos, Events, etc.  Any idea why this would happen?  Very strange.  MacBook Pro Retina late 2013 running OS X 10.10.2.  Thanks for the help!  -Ben

    Thanks for the reply and for your questions.  The pictures are in a supported format -- JPEG.  They are no different from dozens of other photos that were uploaded at the same time.
    In fact, they have been successfully shared via My Photo Stream/iCould, as they are showing up on other devices.  They are just not showing up in the iCloud window on the original computer.

  • Photo Stream is not showing up, what should i do? Is it available in countries outside USA?

    Photo Stream in my iphoto'11 9.1(475) is not showing up. Not even when I have turned on Photo Stream in my icloud account. what should i do??? it has shown up in Aperture and is syncronised but i want my photo stream in iphoto. Please suggest.

    Well the fact that it works with Aperture tells you that Photostream does work outside the USA. You need to update your iPhoto to 9.2.1

  • Pictures were downloaded to an existing event but now they do not show up. They show in photo stream.

    Pictures were downloaded to an existing event but now they do not show up. They show in photo stream. I cannot copy them to the event. I cannot download them to the event because it says they are already in my library.

    You need to tell us what you did and what you have (version of iPhoto and verify yoru OS version)
    It is not possible to download (actually import) photos into an existing event - every import creates one or more new events
    given virtually no information one can only guess - I'd guess that either your event sort is set incorrectly (view menu ==> sort events) or the dates on the photo are wrong so the event is not where you expect it to be - in that case you correct the dates using the adjust date/time command

    When I take photos on my iphone they show up on my MacBook Air. When I add a photo to my photo stream on the MacBook Air they do not show up on my iphone. Did I miss something? Is it only one way?

    It appears that photos from photostream do not download to your laptop. Depending on Operating system(Mac or Windows) you may want to check why?
    Here are some steps.
