Foi server not ready

I just downloaded Mapviewer 11g and set it up using the quick starter kit. When I am running the demos i get following error..
[MVThemeBasedFOIControl.foiLoaded] MAPVIEWER-05523: Cannot process response from MapViewer server. (foi server is not ready!
Can you tell me how to fix this? I also tried the URL 'http://host:port/mapviewer/foi' which gives me the same message.

I am doing an exploded deployment on weblogic server. I get following error(see below). I granted 777 permissions to all directories under 'mapviewer.ear' folder but still it fails. If I manually create this directory then demos work fine. But why do I have to do that ?

  • CTI OS Server Not ready Reason

    Hi
    I know that Not Ready with CTIOS is server base.  I want to know if it's possible to have spefic reason for some agent and other reason for other agent.
    My point is I didn't want all the agent to see all the reason code.
    Regards
    Frank

    I'm not sure thats exactly correct.  You have to define Not Rady Reason codes in the registry for CTIOS, not just in ICM.  This coupled with the fact that you can indeed create new connection profiles, which is where the Reason codes are confiugred.  I believe you can make multiple connection profiles, and tell the agents to choose the correct one.  I may be wrong though, I haven't tried.

    Hi all,
    I am having this error for each of my jar file under launchpad/startup. Anyone can help?

    Hi Ramesh,
    A few questions... Is this the first time you've started it and that is the
    message you are getting?  Or, was it previously working?
    If this is the first time you've tried installing and running it:
    I also have a Win 7 64 bit PC and had the same problem.  For me, it was a
    firewall issue.  When CQ starts up, it checks for a series of other ports
    (8089, 8090, etc) to determine if it should join a running cluster.
    You can test if this is the case by unplugging from the internet and
    turning off your wireless radio.  Then it should start.  If that's the
    case, the only (ridiculous) work around I've found on my Win 7 64 bit pc
    (which has a bunch of other company security settings which could be
    causing this problem) was to go to the following:
    section and comment it out
    That solved it for me on my PC... (works fine on my mac... go figure).

  • BUG: RV042 (1.3.12.19-tm) not ready for Win7 RDP ?

    Hello,
    we used a CISCO RV042 with Firmware version:  1.3.12.19-tm  (CPU: Intel IXP425-266, DRAM: 32M, Flash: 8M) with a  "Gateway to Gateway" VPN Tunnel connected to a CISCO1921/K9-SEC with ZBF. The  Tunnel works fine.
    A connection to a WinXP (Professional) RDP works permanent. Then we had to connect to a Win7 (Professional) RDP: the  connection was established, but is canceled with different  error-messages by the "RDP-Server" on the "RV042 LAN". Problems with the  host-cert or RDP-Server not ready was announced. (???) We started a trouble-shooting on both sides and can't find a clear statement in the log-data on CISCO or Windows Harwdare.
    Then we replaced the RV042 with a RV042G V01 with Firmware version: 4.2.1.02 -
    No problems with RDP to Win7 RDP anymore !
    We only chnaged the hardware - VPN configuration on CISCO1921 and RV042G was not changed.
    Is RV042 (1.3.12.19-tm) not ready for Win7 RDP ?
    Grüße
    Stefan

    dondersconsulting schrieb:it works fine with Server 2008R2 RDP, which should be same as Win7.
    You are using a IPSec Tunnel to an RV042 (not the Client feature!) and you can connect to an Server 2008R2 to RDP trough the tunnel ?
    dondersconsulting schrieb:Are you connecting the RDP session through the VPN? If so, I'm not sure why the RV042 would have anything to do with the RDP session.
    Yes, we are connecting via IPSec from a CISCO1921 to the RV042. I think that the RV042 has problems with it's own Stateful Firewall related to the local routing throug the IPSec tunnel. In this case the RDP protocol has changed on the Microsoft side from to .
    dondersconsulting schrieb:If you are connecting directly through the internet using Forwarding or UPnP, then it should work fine.
    Thats not our setup and is far away from any security policies on our side ...
    dondersconsulting schrieb:The only thing that throws a flag for me is the certificate message.  The RV042 uses an SSL cert for various things, but there is no clear way to refresh this cert when it gets corrpted.  For some reason it is hidden in the VPN client setup - look for the button at the bottom that says "Generate" - use this to create a new certificate, then save the settings and reboot the router.I'm not sure that this is the issue, but it shouldn't hurt anything to reset the certificate.  If you have a valid signed certificate to import, that might be even better.
    The Certs you discribe are going with the "Client To Gateway" feature and we are using "Gateway To Gateway" feature.
    I think the RV042 is working fine with the IPSec-Tunnel Feature "Gateway To Gateway". It works fine with WinXP Hosts connecting RDP through the tunnel - but using Win7 RDP the RDP Sessiopn breaks with all avaiable Error Messages in a random output on any Win-Client (WinXP and Win7) - we teste with 5 ! different machines ...
    I looks like Firewall Bug on the RV042.

  • Error initializing server: IO Error: The device is not ready

    Hi, I copied JDev 10.1.3 on my notebook and when I tried to start embedded OC4J I get the following message:
    Error initializing server: IO Error: The device is not ready
    What should I do? Thanks

    If I read correctly, you just copy the existing jdev installation on your PC to your notebook. That sounds like a very dubious practice to me. As seen by you in this particular example, hard-coded non-relative paths, host information, environment settings and etc begin to creep into various configuration or preference files once a piece of software go alive.
    Any problem to start a new installation to your notebook?

    Cheers

    You either have a mechanically or electronically failed disk drive or else your Operating System (I an presuming it is Solaris on that SPARC system) is completely mucked up.
    If it is the OS at issue, you will need to install everything fresh.
    If it is the 18GB disk drive, you will need to replace it and install everything fresh.
    Either way, at some point you will have to go get your OS installation media and install everything fresh. The solution is not that difficult to understand.

  • Email Not Ready Icon visible in CSD when no Email server is used

    HI,
         We have implemented a new contact center in the UCCX 7.0(1)SR5 cluster with no Email feature. But when one logins into the CSD, you see this Email Not ready icon appeneded to the current agent status. Note that this is not the case with all the agents and also doesn;t always happen to the same agent. When I ask the agent to completely close out of CAD and log back in, it just magically disppears. I also checked that these icons are marked as not visible in the CDA. This is not affecting anything but the supervisors are confused when they see this status appened to a few agents espl. when we are not using any email fucntionality and our cluster doesn't include any email server. Please see the screen shot below.
    Any thoughts or leads is highly appreciated!
    Thanks,

    Hi
    This mostly looks like a defect which requires more investigation.
    I will request you to open up a TAC case if you haven't done yet

  • Error while trying to create a Solr collection (java.io.IOException: The device is not ready)

    Hello, everyone.
    I'm trying to create a .cfm document that will erase a specific Solr collection and then re-create it, index it, and optimize it.
    The delete works flawlessly.
    Unfortunately, creating it isn't working, at all.  I get the following message:
    Unable to create collection publicsearch - An error occurred while creating the collection: java.io.IOException: The device is not ready.
    This is a Windows 7 server running Apache and CFServer 9.0.1 (the version before Verity was cut.)  I'm not getting any more details than the one error message.  Any idea of what could be causing this?  I've Googled this and I'm seeing a lot of issues similar, but not quite what I have happening.
    Thanks,
    ^_^

    Nevermind.. no one bothered to inform the developer that the path to the collection AND the path to the directory that the collection is for are different on this other server.
    Fixed.

    My modem router (192.168.1.1) handles DNS and DHCP (192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.254).
    I tried change the address pool to 192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.253 and setting my computer's ip to 192.168.1.254 to avoid possible conflicts but this made no difference.
    I have only installed packages from the base group and the packages openssh, amd-ucode and btrfs-progs.
    thanks for the help - hopefully it's something simple I've missed
    EDIT
    I've found out that the following works
    pacman -S ifplugd
    systemctl start [email protected]
    does anyone know why the beginner's guide wasn't working for me? is there a bug with netctl?

    Thanks for the pointer Lone_Wolf.
    I've opted for the method you linked to as it means I can remove netctl and ifplugd.
    [Unit]
    Description=Wired Static IP Connectivity
    Wants=network.target
    Before=network.target
    BindsTo=sys-subsystem-net-devices-enp2s0.device
    After=sys-subsystem-net-devices-enp2s0.device
    [Service]
    Type=oneshot
    RemainAfterExit=yes
    ExecStart=/usr/bin/ip link set dev enp2s0 up
    ExecStart=/usr/bin/ip addr add 192.168.1.254/24 dev enp2s0
    ExecStart=/usr/bin/ip route add default via 192.168.1.1
    ExecStop=/usr/bin/ip addr flush dev enp2s0
    ExecStop=/usr/bin/ip link set dev enp2s0 down
    [Install]
    WantedBy=multi-user.target
    I guess this is a solution sorts, although the original issue remains unsolved.
    Is it worth cross posting to netctl on git?

  • Solaris 8 on netra T1 error - drive not ready

    Hi I am hoping someone can help shed light on a problem we have encountered. I inherited a couple of very old netra t1 with solaris 8 on them.  We had a major power outage whcih resulted in an issue with this server coming backup.  On first looking at it i was able to get into the server via lom command prompt, i ran the power down command to gracefully shutdown and reboot but on starting backup the server is reporting 'drive not ready' and just hangs at this point.
    apologies but i am a solaris novice, any help would be much appreciated. I am hoping this is something trivial....
    thanks.

    Just to update we suffered another power outage and returned to look at hte server to find different error messages appearing, this time the server was giving me the option to try and boot or go into single user mode, which i did and ran the metastat and got the following:-

  • Agent going to not ready after call hangup, Siebel CRM Connector, reason code 50002

    Hi Everyone,
    We have Contact Center Enterprise UCCE 8.5.2 with CTOS integrated Siebel CRM 8.1.1 using
    Cisco Unified CRM connector
    On daily basis we are receiving about 100 incidents that Agents goes to not ready after
    talking to customer. and the reporting gives the reason code 50002.
    As per Cisco its because of CTI server Failure/Agent desktop closed/network Problem.  But
    In real there is no network issue, Agent not closing the Agent desktop. Also if this is
    the case agent should be logged out but in pratical its stays logged in but moved to
    not-ready state(Reason 50002)
    It could be  miss communication between UCCE and Siebal CRM connector.
    One more thing its not happening with one customer only it happening in many deployment on
    Version 8. Especially the one integrated with Siebel.
    If anyone face the same issue please share the experience and the solution if found any!
    Regards,
    Atif Tanveer

    Atif,
    If memory serves me right, CTI events are controlled and communicated by Siebel connector.  So when your users close Siebel or any other CTI controlling connector this will be same as closing CTIOS or CAD without proper logoff.  This will keep the phone out of synch and keep the user automatically into not ready to prevent any callers going to this device.
    Simple answer you have to train users and make sure they close Close applications properly.
    Thanks,
    Baseer.

  • Agents in not ready state too long drops calls.

    Using CRS 4.0(3) with agent desktop.
    Issue is that when agents go to lunch they go into the not-ready state until they come back from lunch. Upon coming back from lunch, they proceed to go ready and then they start dropping calls as they come into the que.
    If you log out completely and close the application when you leave for lunch versus going not ready for an extended period of time the issue does not appear when you log back in.
    Any ideas?

    Update on this. I looked at the control center and saw that my server was in partial service. I verified the service was the JTAPI subsystem.
    I ran the JTAPI update client tool from this link
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/custcosw/ps1846/products_tech_note09186a00801c8316.shtml
    and saw the version of JTAPI between the CCM and the IPCC server were off. I updated both IPCC servers to the same version of call manager and will now hold to do some testing.
