  • Foreign Trade Import/Export Tab in Material Master of SAP R/3

    Hi
What is the use of Foreign Trade Import/Export Tab in material master of SAP R/3

    Hi Akhil ..
Sounds like you need to enrol for the SAP Foreign Trade training course!
The tab holds various attributes for determining Foreign Trade data - for example the Customs classification and Country of Origin.  Those data are used to determine and/or populate fields in the Foreign Trade data when processing MM and SD documents.
Some, but not all, of the fields in that tab become redundant if GTS is in use.
If you have more specific questions in this area, it might be easier to give better explanations.
    Regards,
    Dave

  • Foreign Trade data in Billing document

    Dear All,
I have configured Foreign trade. For Header level Incomplete analysis triggered  configured fields perfectly. But at Item level Incomplete analysis  configured the below said fields with Field control as - 2 - Field ready for input - Incompletion check active .

Country of origin of the material - HERKL
Region of origin of material (non-preferential origin) - HERKR
Commodity Code/Import Code Number for Foreign Trade - STAWN
It is triggering only below said fields only.

  • Foreign Trade LC sales Doc Credit Block.

    Dear Brothers,
We have implemented Foreign Trade in Exports here in our company and some times there are issues of Credit block ,My question is if there is an LC document attached to a particular sales order and the LC is worth 3 million ,The balance amount is still 1 million then why the sales document is giving a credit block some times. Please suggest the settings to be done or did we missed some settings while implementing the Foreign trade
Please note : is the credit block  due to unavailabilty of stock before in the sales order and now the stock has come thats why it is giving credit block .in this circumstances what should we do .I think we cannot relase an LC through VKM3 .
    Best Regards
    Mansur Ali khan

    Hi Mansur,
I think you are also having automatic Credit check in that case the system will check the credit limit of the customer and not the LC amount. To avoid this you can write a small routine in Ova8 and give it under the No credit check field under document controlling.

  • Foreign Trade for Freight Forwarding Agents within USA

My client uses foreign trade to export materials from US to outside countries.
I've done all necessary configurations by going through the SAP documentation on Foreign Trade.   It works perfect with key combination of Sales Organization + Bill-to party (where Bill-to party's country is outside USA.
But it does NOT work when we create a condition table with key combination of Sales Organization + Ship-to Party (where ship-to party country is USA).
Material Master (Export Foreign Trade) has already been setup with appropriate commodity codes.
We send customs invoice (boarder broker document) to Freight Forwarding agent (Ship-to Party) whose address is within USA.   And they then take responsibility to export the material to outside USA.
Problem-1:  During Delivery creation, the system automatically copies the FT information from MM when the Ship-to Party's country code is outside USA.  But NOT for Ship-to Party's country code within USA.
Problem-2:  Customs condition table on key combination Sales Organization + Ship-to does NOT work during creation of billing document (VF01 or VF04).   We need this custom so the custom invoice to print automatically using the custom output type.
Need your help.   Please respond ASAP.  Points will be rewarded.
    Thanks,
    Nevill.

  • Transfer Foreign Trade Export Import values in Purchase Order

    Hello SRM brothers and sisters,
I have a question regarding the transfer of the Import/Export data (Foreign Trade) in the PO from SRM to ECC in the Classic Extended Scenario.
Basically, in the SRM BBP_ECS_PO_OUT_BADI -> BBP_B46B_PO_OUTBOUND method where we map all the values, I try to fill in the CT_BAPI_POEXPIMPITEM table with the item's Import/Export values.
The way this is done is:
if nothing exists in this CT_BAPI_POEXPIMPITEM table for the PO item, add an empty line and assign the following fields ( PO_ITEM, EXPORT_IMPORT_PROCEDURE, COUNTRYORI and COMM_CODE).
This is then sent to ECC via the RFC BBP_PO_INBOUND function module - and inside I know that it assigns the X-structure of Export/Import Item. It then calls the BAPI_PO_CREATE / BAPI_PO_CHANGE and in the debugger the values seem to be correct.
This all seems to be very nice, however when I take a look at the PO in ME23n, the values of the Import/Export data are not there! In table EIPO there is also nothing... As for error messages, nothing comes up either.
So, has this happened to anyone? Am I doing something wrong? Is there an extra step I should do (ie, fill another structure/table/field)?
    Cheers,
    Adi

    Hi Kishor,
Thanks for your reply.I need to some more inputs if you can...
As you mention :-You need to enter the special UOM according to the specifications in the index of goods or foreign trade statistics: can you give a example to get more clarification.and how Qtys. are converted to this unit for the export declaration.
You mentionwd : (FOr each item, you have to enter the amount of the unit of measure determined
in the index of goods. Eg: number of units) -can u explain with example. what is index of Goods.
    Thanks in adavance.
    Thank you.

  • Export/import procedure for foreign trade field in PO item

    Hi Experts,
I met a problem in import PO. Is there a possible way to make the Export/import procedure for foreign trade field in PO item automatically be determined?
    Thanks,
    Emily

IF the import data tab shows up is depending on customizing for foreign trade data.
The setting is done in IMG
MM > Purchasing > Foreign Trade/ Custome > Control FT data in MM SD documents > Import screens in purchasing document

    Hi,
we are planning to implement the foreign trade export for Algeria.
Pl let me the procedures for export trade and also the best practices used for this.
    Regards
    Ravi

    Dear Ravi
For general export configuration, please make a search in the forum and specific to Algeria, first you have to identify what are all the statutory and other requirements prevailing over there and accordingly, you need to configure.
    thanks

  • Mandatory field Export/Import Procedure for Foreign Trade

    Hello all!
Is there any possibilty to define the field Export/Import Procedure for Foreign Trade
within the infoset as a mandatory field?
Table T162 doesn't show me this field.
    Kind regards,
    Barbara

    Hello,
in customizing under "Materials Management --> Purchasing --> Foreign Trade/Customs --> Control Foreign Trade Data in MM and SD Documents --> Incompleteness Schemas for Foreign Trade Data" you can create an incompletion procedure defininig the documents fields assigning a control type. Then in the subsequent customizing step "Foreign Trade Data in MM and SD Documents" you can assign the Incompleteness schema to each country code, choosing import or export.
    Hope to be useful.
    Best regards,
    Andrea

  • Export/Import Procedure for Foreign Trade

    Dear all,
Could you please explain me the field "Export procedure"?
This can be found in the delivery:
    Transaction: VL03n --> Item --> Foreign Trade/ Customs --> Origine / Destination / Business
I know how the default value of this field is found. What I have to know, is the outcome of changing these value. Is this field only for statistical/ information reasons or is there a link to an other function?
    Thanks,
    Thomas

    Dear Thomas,
The field is meant for indicating the customs procedure into which the goods are to be entered (eg. export or reexport, outward processing). It is part of official customs declaration forms in the EC ("Single Administrative Document"/SAD). Like the other fields on the tab page "Foreign Trade/Customs", it is generally only needed in case of cross-border sales/deliveries. The content of these fields is stored in table EIPO which is usually referenced by the billing document. In case of an export, for example, you could issue the customs declaration based on these and other billing document data. (Nowadays, export declarations are to be filed electronically in the EC. The data are thus transferred to either SAP GTS or a third-party software.)
And yes, they are in parts also relevant to export statistics.
    Best regards,
    Christiane

    Hi,
You can do it in OMSR...but you have to individually disable the fields.
OMSR> select MARC-PRENC>click on the arrow in extreme right side>field references are shown>here you can hide, display make required entry or optional entry.
In case of doubts please revert..
