Hi,
Plant 2000 Can send a material for Subcontracting against Subcontracting Challan ie 57F4, but Cant sell in domestic market.
Ans: - This can be mapped through following Subcontracting process in Plant 2000;
Creation and maintenance of 57F4 Challans for Subcontracting Process (Subcontracting without Payment of Duty)
1. Transfer Posting of components to Subcontractor (MB1B)
2. Creation of Subcontracting Challan (J1IF01)
3. Refer Subcontracting Challan at the time of GR (MIGO)
4. Reconciliation of Subcontracting Challan (J1IFQ)
5. Completion of Subcontracting Challan (J1IF13)
6. Generation of Annexure IV (J1IFR)
1000 Plant is Subcontractor for 2000 Plant. In this case I cant transfer stock from 2000 plant to 1000 plant through STO.
If 1000 Creates STO, 2000 has to create sales document and outbound delivey which is not applicable as per EOU laws.
Ans: - As per EOU law, you can not sale a material in local market (means you have to only export the materials fron this plant) that doesn't mean that you can not transfer the material from plant to plant.
1. ME21N - You create a Subcontracting PO in Plant 2000, keeping Vendor as Plant 1000 (Create Plant 1000 as Vendor)
2. MIGO - Transfer Posting > Others (Use Movement type 303 to transfer the stock from plant 2000 to plant 1000)
3. J1IF01 - Create Subcontracting Challan w.r.t. Mateerial Doc of 303 mvmt type)
4. MIGO - Goods Receipt > Others (Use Movement type 305 to receive the stock from plant 2000 to plant 1000)
Prerequisite: - In config. include 303 in movement tupe groups of issues (i.e. 0001)

Make use of the subject effectively.  Don't type the entire requirement there

Hi, If your plant is in excise free zone, the excise amount will have to be loaded to material cost at the time of GR as per procurement cycle.for that you need to use the non-deductible excise conditions for BED(JMIP), ECess(JECI) and SECess(JSEI).
In the same way when you are transferring the material from excisable plant to non-excisable Plant, the excise amount to be captured from the supplying plant and while doing inbound delivery the excise cost will be sumed off with the material cost.In the reverse case there is a loss of excise,So I hope this is not a allowed business otherwise in the excise Plant you have to make Gr by selecting No excise in the excise Tab at header of the MIGO.

  • Foriegn trade Country code in Billing document

    Hi,
Can any one guide me how the country code is populated in Billing document Header under  Foriegn trade/custom tab.
As we are facing issue with this, in one billing document with germany ship to party the country code is being populated and   the other billing document with U.S ship to party country code is not populated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks in advance,
As u said my problem is not with the Transportation and Incompleteness, In the Billing document header level beside the Ship to party address the Country code is not being populated for other than germany customer.
    SAP Help says
The country key contains information which the system uses to check entries such as the length of the postal code or bank account number.
The two-character ISO code in accordance with ISO 3166, which is delivered by SAP as a default, is usually used.
It could also be the vehicle license plate country-code or a typical country key, for example, in Germany the Federal statistics office key.
The country keys are determined at system installation in the global settings.
Since the country key does not have to correspond to the ISO code in all installations, programs that differ according to certain values of the country key cannot query the country key T005-LAND1, but have to program based on the ISO code T005 INTCA.
    Please suggest
    Thanks.

  • Export sales under excise bond scenario

    Hi Experts,
I have a query regarding export sales under excise bond, here my client is getting CT1 document and ARE3 document with material from customer and after doing job work they are sending back the material with ARE1 document to customer.
As well as Customer has taken the Running Excise Bond from excise dept. and allocating some bond amount to my client.
Here my client wants to maintain Running Bond balance and CT1 balance (like opening balance, closing balance and duty amount) in the system and also wants to print both in ARE1 document.
Can you please suggest me how to achieve the same.
one more thing they are extending the validity of excise bond (from excise dept) when it expires shall we use same excise bond contineously they are exporting approximately 1000 pcs per year.
    Thanks in advanceu2026u2026u2026

    Hi,
When you create an excise invoice for exports under rebate . A/c document needs to be generated and than you will create an ARE1. So for export under rebate you debit the duties at the time of sale and take the rebate in the end of the month.
Setting for for normal exports and export under rebate will be different.
Also note that at the time of ARE1 no g/l account entries will be trigger in any process

  • Job Work with Excise

    Hi
Request you to please guide me in the following scenario:
We send 50 Kg of Blue Ink to our Vendor. The Vendor mix one u201CPaste Materialu201D with the blue Ink and produces Red Ink and send back to us.
Here the Vendor is charging 100/ Kg for the processing the Ink along with 10.3% Service Charge.
On the u201CPaste Materialu201D, he charges us 10.3% Excise, Cenvatable, and Vat 5% .
How to handle the u201CPaste Materialu201D in this process? Will it be a part of subcontracting PO?
Also request you to please send the steps in subcontracting process related with Excise Material. I am aware of the generic subcontracting process. Excise I am doing for the first time.
    Regards,
    PK

    Thanks a lot.
I got the clarity  to some extent.
I have also done the GR with SC Vendir Indicator Check On. I assume that this line item will with Excise & Vat Tax Code. And separate Invoice will be done for this. During GR we need to select Capture Excise Invoice.
One more thing, please guide me in Excise Configuration related with Challan ( T Code j1if01)
Right now we have got the following config done (by my ex-consultant)
    Excise Registrations
    2
    Plant
    1002
    Excise Group
    E2
    Series Groups
    21 : 1002-PLANT (UNIT 4) DOMESTIC
    22 : 1002-PLANT (UNIT 4) EXPORT
    23 : 1002-PLANT (UNIT 4) DEEMED
    Maintain Subtransaction Types
    IP : IMPORT PROCUREMENT
    ST :  STOCK TRANSFER
    Subcontracting Attributes
    E2 : 57FC :  01 :  57FC CHALLAN
When I am creating a Subcontracting Challan using T Code j1if01, the system is asking for Excise Group & Series Group.
Do we need to create new Excise Group & Series Group for subcontracting? Also which Object will be used for Excise Numbering (T Code SNRO)
    Please guide.

  • Excise Bond

    Hi All,
The scenario here is , we have around 9 plants , 1 co code, 1 Sales Org , 1 LUT which covers all the plants.
    Out of which export takes place from 6 plants. Now when i am trying to create the Bond , the required fields are ;
    1. Plant
    2. Bond type
    3. Bond No as per Excise Department
    4. Type of despatch.
Since there is only 1 Bond no as per excise for all the plants , the system is not allowing to create data for the remaining 5 plants.
Can you pl let me now how to maintain bond details for all the plants relevant for export with the same Bond No.
    Thnak you in advane.
    Subodh

    Dear Subodh,
As per my knowledge in SAP Excise Bond can be maintained only for 1 Plant.
But if you have want to use same Bond for several plants then you will have to create a seprate program code with help of your abaper. In the program even if the plant is different it will update the Bond Values when ARE1 is preapared or closed.

  • Purchase Process from a Second Stage Dealer with Excise Inclusive

    Hi Everybody ...
I am facing a scenario in two of our projects where the vendor happens to be a second stage dealer. This means that he has actually purchased the raw material from the manufacturer, and paid the excise to manufacturer.
Now this vendor gives us an invoice where he has included excise duty in the invoice amount. This invoice amount also includes his own commission. The excise duty remains same as was paid to the manufacturer.
The invoice also specifies VAT applicable on:  'base amount' + 'excise' + 'dealer's commission/profit'
Now the tricky part is how to separate the excise amount from this? The profit our dealer is charging is separate and non-excisable. Though VAT will be applicable.
    Example:
Our vendor (a stage 2 dealer) sends us an invoice of Rs. 1180/-  with excise at 8% (say, excluding cess for the time being).
If excise amount here is Rs. 80/-.
This gives us a Base amount = Rs. 1000/-
    Dealer's commission/profit = Rs. 100/-
    VAT = 4% of Rs. (801000100 (non-excisable))
I have not been able to map this into SAP B1 2007B.
Please suggest if there is a way this scenario can be mapped onto SAP B1 or if it will require some level of customization.
I need to accomplish this in the next 2 days.
    Thanks for everything
    TC,
    Yatri

With reference to the query., pls note that you can put the 1180 in the unit price and assessable value or the per unit excise amount*qty in the Assessable value field. In the PO or GRN where you are putting the data be sure to have the Assessable Value and Tax Amount (LC) fields on. So you can put the assessable value and go to the tax amount table and put all the data in the tables and update it.

  • Foriegn trade

    Hi All,
I want to know the information regarding below mentioned points in Foriegn Trade.I have gone through so many thredds but i am not getting the exact informaion.
    1. Specific Data for Customs Processing=Customs quota, antidumping laws.
    2. Official Documents/Certificates/Verifications/Cust.Approvals= Pre approved customs number is    available which big expo/import houses use for faster processing of the trade documents.
    thanks in advance...
    with cheers
    Sandeep D

    Hi
I give below the details which I know on Foreign trade
Exports - Form ARE1 is prepared for the export documentation and sent alongwith the material till port. Endorsements are done by the customs authorities on the ARE1 with the Bill of lading and the vessel details alongwith the shipping bill details and sent back two copies of the ARE1 back to the initiator. Bid exporters are provided with additional facility like they can apply for licence with the customs for the export proceeds made by them during the year and get DEPB licence (Duty Entitlement Pass Book) which can be used for payment of Customs duty on the Import of materials. This will fasten the process for these giants in clearing their goods at customs.
Imported goods can be kept in customs for an initial period of 7 days beyond which charges will be levied on the basis of the storage area occupied by the imported material by customs.

  • Error while posting A/R Downpayment Invoice with Excisable Tax Code.

While posting A/R Dowpayment Invoice with Excisable Tax Code error of "Unbalanced Transaction" appears. This error does not occur while posting A/R Downpayment Invoices with Non-Excisable Tax Codes.
Kindly provide a solution for the same.

    SAP Note Number: 1179405
Error -5002 when trying to copy a document with Sales BOM
In order to create the delivery via the DI, you need to set the oDoc.Lines.BaseLine value to the LineNum value from the RDR1 table (in the above example you should enter the value 2).
we set oDoc.Lines.BaseLine=0 before starting the lines loop. This has resolved the issue.
This note was really helpful and it was found in another query.

    Hi,
I have a new business requirement, we want to create only one company code and 12 plants in different states,  each plant will have separate purchasing and sales activity this is ok this can be done with separate excise and series group as ther will not be any issue for purchsing and saling of materisl with exice in each plant , but how we can transfer the material plant to plant  if the plant is in different states we want that the material should be transfer from palnt to plant  with excise invoice only,  as we have the company code common,  how to create the billing document for this, and how to pass the duty from the saling plant and capture the same in the recieving plant. with proper tax entry. Can we do the STO with biiling if the two plants are in single compnay code.

    hi,
I am trying to create a Stock Transport Order (STO) with document type UB and item category U. My objective is to transfer material from Plant (supplying plant) 100 to Plant (receiving plant) 1100 within one company code (1000) with STO.
For this purpose I created a raw material 1434 in plant 1000 with sales org 1 view and in that view entered in delivering plant field 1000 as delivery plant. After that I extended material 1434 to plant 1100 without changing anything what I did while creating the material first in Plant 1000 except in organizational level I entered 1100 in the plant field. I entered Sales org 1000 and distribution channel 10 in organization level for both plant while creating and extending the material. In me21n I chose Stock Transport Order with document type UB and item category as U also receiving Plant as 1100. With this when I tried to save the STO the message, I am getting an error,  Cannot determine shipping data for the material 1434?
I am doing solely mm function why I need to create Customer master? In this case plant 1100 is the customer right?
    Solution:
    1. Mat.(1434) should be maintained in both the plants. (1000&1100).
    2. Should have enough stock in supplying plant(1000).
    3. Make its supplying plant as a vendor in vendor master record in receiving plant(1100).
    4. Make it receiving plant as a customer in customization.
Create customer (xd01) & and define the shipping data for plants in both the plants.
        Path: spro u2013 img u2013 m.mgmt u2013 purchasing u2013 po u2013 set up STO u2013 define shipping data (1 by1 )
In Receiving plant (1100)                         In Supplying plant (1000)
Customer num.  123345 (for ex.)              Customer num.  -
    (don't fill)
        Sales org.yyy
        Dist. Channel
        Sales div.  y
    5. Assign doc. Type is "NL" for intra company STO. If  STO is inter company, Assign doc. Type is "NLCC".
        Position doc type is "UB"
Enter supplying plant(1000) & doc type (NL) & checking rule (ex:01)
    6. Assign doc. Type is "UB" to u'r plants.(PO)
        Go for new entries
Enter supplying plant(1000) & Receiving plant (1100) & doc type (UB).
    7. Create a PO, choose the doc type is `UB' & item cat.'U', Enter supplying plant as a vendor in PO  of the receiving plant(1100).
    8. Provide this num (PO) to SD people, they will do the delivery by using transactional code is VL10B.
    9. Sales people they will provide "out bound delivery num".
    10. Do the GR. In GR the second tab 05 out bound delivery instead of PO mov.type 101.
    11. See the stock over view in the receiving & supplying plants.
    thanking you

    hai all
i am facing one problem in the return po with excise. i entered vendor and line items and selected the return tick mark
when i was clicking the return tick mark this error is showing "
Negative delivery costs not allowed". This is releated with exicise and cst . please help me out how to processed for this return po .

    ravi

During normal PO, the condition type is taking as +ve and the accounting doc posting is correct during GR and LIV.
However, during return PO, we would like to have the same flow except that it is posting reversely from the normal PO. that is why we need the condition type to be -ve. The condition type is using conditiong category 'B' delivery costs. Check Plus/minus setting in M/06.
