Fork Request in OIM11g

Hi to all. I've been working with requests in OIM11g and I'm looking for a strategy to fork a request. I explain you my scenario. I've created a resource named "CRM Resource" and I've build a dataset to provision this Resource based upon custom request template for self request and provision resource for other users. My CRM Resource is a "dummy" resource, since I've no technical IT Resource connected to. I will only trace provisioning requests for this resource.
What I want to do so? I would like to assign the provisioning of a Database account for the requested CRM Resource. Once the approval process terminate for CRM Resource, I would like that OIM11g generates the proper provisioning tasks to provision a Database Account and assign them to the specific group.
Is this possibile?

You can create a task in your provisioning side and set the assignment tab to the appropriate group. Create a response code with UC or MC as the code. Set your Task to Object Status mapping to be Complete for the given type. Now when the provisioning starts, the task will be assigned to the admin. They will see the task in their open provisioning tasks. When done, they can mark the task completed.

Is it possible to configure Lync 2013 to only send a single 180/183 ringing back upstream after an INVITE to Lync triggers multiple INVITEs to Lync subscriber endpoints that each end up generating a 180/183 message.
In case of simultaneous ring, I want Lync to consume all these 180s to avoid unnecessary messaging back to the originator INVITE'ing Lync that is behind a SBC.
It seems to be acting as a forking proxy rather than b2bua.

Lync Server determines which endpoint is currently most active for that user. For example, a user might be Away at two of the three endpoints, so the server sends the message only to the endpoint where the user is Available. If the server is unable to determine
which state is most active, it sends the message to the endpoint it determines most likely active and waits to see if the user acknowledges the toast at any location. If the user opens the toast at an endpoint, the server removes the message from the other
endpoints. If an endpoint doesn’t acknowledge the message, the server leaves the message at only one location which is the most likely endpoint.

Create request template in OIM11g

Hi Friends,
I have created request template in OIM11g and I created it for user creation and assigned a manager for approval.
After I finish the user creation task and as the user is approved by the manager. The user status in Approved but I m not able to find the user in the User list.
let me know how to find the user is created or not.. ?

First of all you should verify the user USR table in OIM - Database.
If user exist in DB but still not visible in user list, there may be problem with authorization policy, So create an authorization policy so that user have access to view, edit modify etc permission.

[OIM11g R1] Resource Ordering in Request Template

Dear Gurus,
I want to know about ordering of Resource Object in Request Template. Where can I find the setting? For example if I have 2 resource, named A and B. If I want resource B to be positioned on top of resource A, can I move it like that? Is it possible to order resource in OIM11g R1? Or at least can I make it shown in Ascending or Descending? How to do that?

Getting error while raising modify request for AD resource in OIM11g

Hi,
Getting below error in log, while raising modify request for AD resource, UI shows error while retrieving resource entity details.

I verified the datasets for AD Remote Manager ITResource, comparing with our other environments. It is proper and we are not using AD Remote Manager ITResource anywhere.

[OIM11g R1] How to Delete Request Template Management

Dear all,
As for the intro, if we create new request template with at least 1 role in it, OIM will automatically create authorization policy (request template management) with the same name. And for my current issue, I think it is caused by fault in export/import xml. I have one request template that is not synced with the one in authorization policy. The one in request template doesn't have any role assigned onto it. But the one in authorization policy has it. As a result, when I try to add some role on the request template, there comes pop-up error. So my conclusion is, this issue should able to be fixed if I delete the request template management in authorization policy. But the situation is, we cannot delete request template management. We can only delete user/role management. Any idea how to solve this? Do you know how to force delete it via LDAP or Oracle DB?

OIM11g - Approval Workflow - Requester and Approver is same

Hi All,
I have a scenario where , requests are approved by a group. ( Resource Owners group).
and if anyone needs access to this resource, the members of the group will approve the requests.
What if any member of the "Resource Owners" groups raises a request on the same object ?? OIM functionally sends it to the group for approval, and it will become a self approval and is a conflict.
How to avoid this kind of scenarios.

AFAIK I haven't seen any system property to stop this. SOA does not care about who the requester is and who are the approvers. The way Oracle has impletmented the identity service for OIM in SOA does not handle this. Seems there is no SOD checks. Open a SR which I believe should be taken as a ER.
Thus the workaround would be to get all the members of the approver group less the requester and assign to all the members. The member list should be comma seperated user ids.

OIM11g: Send Email Notification after request is submitted/rejected

Hi,
For OIM 11g version 11.1.1.3 I've implemented an approval workflow (SelfRegistrationApproval) based on the Oracle OBE guide: "developing_oim_custom_approval_process_for_self_registration" and I've followed this guide to the teeth making no customizations. Right now I'm only able to get an email notification sent out to the requestor once the request has been approved. What I'm having trouble with is getting an email notification sent out when the request has been rejected. Does anyone know how to trigger an email notification to be sent out to the initiator of the request once the reject button is clicked in OIM?

We have a requirement to hide certain fields in OIM create user request page with respect to the value selected by user for another attribute.
Eg : if I select ‘internal user’ check box the user should not see’ department’ field.
I had gone through the document (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/doc.1111/e14309/request.htm) which talks about configuring a request page but there I couldn’t find anything which will help me in implementing this.
Please let us know if there is any way to archive this.

OIM11g - Reading request data

Hi All,
Is it possible to get the request data before an approval.
Based on some attribute present in the request data, I need to select the approver.
I tried to use RequestService API, but looks like it doesnot have flexibility to read the entire request data.
Let me know, if there is a way to do this so.
