i am printing a lable code
its a encrypted format
i need a code to suppress the blank line3 based on conditon if it is blank.
so id line 3 is blank it should not diplay the blank line. that is my requirment.
pls suggest

One recommendation I make, when troubleshooting suppression issues, is to put a visible border of the section, area or object to be suppressed, and borders for all objects contained in the section or area. This will help isolate what's suppressed, and whether the section is truly blank or has content that's blank.
Furthermore, I recommend indicating which SDK and what version you're using when posting.

If you're using "append report".vi it's has one input for "new line".

Suppose i am giving 'A' in the first line and press the enter key two times, after i am giving the 'B' in the third line and press enter key for two times. I need to remove, the last two lines of JTextAreae, . How i can remove these lines?

String#trim() removes all whitespace from both ends of the String.
The requirement was to remove line breaks from the end of the String only.
String#replaceAll with a suitable regex would do the trick. Untested regex for this:text.replaceAll("[\\n\\r]+$", "")db

How do you remove blank lines from an assignment block?.

I have used the UI enhancement tool to add fields to an assignment block, but I've ended up with a blank line between the fields. How can I remove this?. There's an option to add new lines and fields but not remove them.

move lf to wa_lines.
append wa_lines to li_lines.

So simple, it would seem, and yet I can't find a way to do this in adobe acrobat!
All I want to do is stick a blank line in the pdf, a return. At the moment the text reads like this?

The narrow text is a poem (in the middle of some prose) and I'd like there to be a space between the end of the poem and the start of the explanation. However, they each seem to be inside different boxes(?) and if I press return to create a blank line, the last line of the poem overlaps with the first line of the prose. I've struggled with this for ages, but can't find a way to do it. Can somebody set me free from this incredibly annoying frustration?

This type of edit should not be performed in the PDF. You need to edit the
original file and then create a new PDF.
If you can't do that then either export it or try to move all the text
"boxes" you see. There's no other way of doing it.

Acrobat 9 Mac- Forms-how do I add multiple lines?

I created a document cover in Quark and saved it as a PDF.(I'm on a Mac)
The idea is for the client (on a PC) to open the document in Acrobat
and add a few lines for a heading. I think I figured out how
to add a text box form, but it only allows for ONE line of text.
I know some of their document headings will require 2 -3 lines.
How is this done? And is this the best method for giving the client something they
can "add to" and print out? PLease advise. I have looked thru the Help menus
and community support, but did not find an answer. thanks.

You can set a text box to be multiline. Right-click it using the Select Object Tool and look under Properties.

How to suppress printing blank pages?

I work with reports 6i and I need a tip.
I have to build a report with two sections (main and trailer section).The main section is always filled with data, but the trailer section does not always receive data.
When I print the report without data in the trailer section there is a blank last page. How can I suppress printing the trailer section when there is no data in it.

These statements allow you to specify whether you want to output blank lines or not. Use SET BLANK LINES ON to output blank lines or SET BLANK LINES OFF to suppress them.

In my program I have to create a file in Text mode using OPEN DATASET statement. This file is being sent to a third party system for their processing. I came to know while creating the file using OPEN DATASET, one LF character is inserted end of the file resulting a blank line end of the file. Thus if my internal table contains 5 reocrds, in the created text file I can see 6 lines where last is a blank. My question is how to remove this blank line which is causing issue in the thirdparty system.
Here is the Code I have used.
   TRY.
Write the file in Text Mode
        OPEN DATASET lv_outpf FOR OUTPUT IN TEXT MODE ENCODING NON-UNICODE
                             WITH SMART LINEFEED
                              MESSAGE lv_msg.
        IF lv_msg IS NOT INITIAL.

an effective way to do it:
open your dataset in binary mode, transfer the records but between each record transfer the LF (or CRLF according to your need)
after the last record you don't transfer the LF
