Form_trigger_failure not stopping processing in wvi trig

Hey guys,
I'm using form 6i. I am calling a forms procedure from the when validate item trigger. If some condition is met in the procedure, I raise form_trigger_failure. The problem is this.
I change a value in the field. I then hit the a save button. This fires the wvi trigger on the modified item. The procedure is called and the raise_form_trigger_failure is executed. Then the code in the wbp is executing.
My question is how do I stop processing at the point where the raise_form_trigger_Failure is hit? Any work arounds or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

When you issue a command that causes other triggers to run, rather than calling the code through a pl/sql procedure or function call, your process does NOT stop if those triggers fail! This is a very critical point. The only way you can determine if any of those triggers encountered a problem is to immediately check IF NOT FORM_SUCCESS then...
Yes, there are other actions the user could take, and it is your job to test each and every one of them to make sure the errors raised by a WVI trigger failure is handled properly. But you are asking about one particular action, and the solution I suggested will ensure the WVI runs, and its result is tested BEFORE any other action is attempted within your WBP trigger.

Confirm OK/Cancel: could not stop processing after redirect

I am have a problem doing a JavaScript confirmation which in a cfinclude file in the process page.
When the display page send content to the process page, and process page first do some validation which is included in a cfinclude file. The issue is user need to choose from a confirmation message box, choose OK to continue processing, Cancel to send user to previous display page. Every thing seems working, except when user choose Cancel and is sent to the previous page, the execution on the process page continues anyway, behind scene though. Without server process validation you may not realize it. but the truth is it does not stop when user choose Cancel.
So I need your insights how to handle the situation: give user choice to choose but when user select Cancel, stop the execution of the code after cfinclude.
Is there anyway to do the message box without JavaScript? If only it could be done in Coldfusion, then the problem solve, by setting a coldfusion variable to stop the execution.

Keep in mind that cf runs on the server, js runs on the client, and the two don't know what the other is doing. You have a couple of choices.
1. Put the validation on the initial page so that selecting cancel keeps them on that page.
2. Have a page that does validation and nothing else. Have the rest of the code on another page. Use js to send the user to the proper page depending on what they select with the confirm dialogue.

Foxfire will not stop processing after I X-out of browser

if I x-out the screen disappears but firefox is still running. if i ask to reload message says already on. and task manager says it is on....... but no screen.

How do I get this audio clip to stop processing

I am wondering how to get this AudioClip to end. Even though it stops after 4 iterations from the for loop in main my application continues running until I hit ctrl-c. I don't want to use System.exit( 0 ) because other applications will be running and I don't want to shut them down. For now just the basics, getting this process to quit on its own. I figured I would have to close the file with file.close( ), but no luck. Help would be appreciated thank you.

The process keeps running even after it is done playing the wav file. I hear no sound but the process must still be running if I does not come to an end.

ex> when you run a "hello world" program the program runs and prints "hello world" then brings you back to the command line.
In my program, the program runs and then just sits there -- never bringing me back to the command line. I am wondering how to do that without System.exit( 0 ). Because when I use a GUI and use eventHandlers it still will not stop processing.
Try running this program with a short wave (.wav) file and you'll see what I mean.

HELP - Receiving error message "The file has not been processed. An error has occurred which stopped the processing of the PDF"

Have been using Adobe CreatePDF for many months successfully.
Only recently over the past few days I have been experiencing errors for periods between 3-5 hours on every attempt to convert/combine files. The error reads: "The file has not been processed. An error has occurred which stopped the processing of the PDF"
It will stay like this and no amount of refreshing the cache, logging in and out will help. I'm running Firefox 34.0.5, windows 7 64bit. Only solution I've found is to wait until the next day and it seems to be working again. Only explanation i can think of is some unexplained maintenance adobe is running behind the scenes because I'm often working late between 12am - 4am.
When this problem happens, no file types will convert/combine I've tested JPEG, PDF and word docs to PDF.
I log in and out of my account, I've cleared my cache, I'm using Firefox 34.0.5 which has always worked in the past I just don't understand how this error is happening for such long periods. Starting to reconsider this product when there are free alternatives to simply combine my PDF docs! please help.

I am still experiencing this problem. Customer service from Adobe has been abysmal!
I called Adobe tech support at 2am Australian time ( >1 weeks ago) and got onto a help centre in India. I was walked through all the troubleshooting steps and they remotely accessed my PC and confirmed that It was not my PC that was at fault. They reset my password and dialed into my adobe account from their end to attempt a simple conversion and export to PDF which failed. I was told that this problem is not something they can fix, and is a result of something on the back end of their software.
They advised me that the problem would be passed to a fixed within 12 hours and they would call and email me to confirm everything was OK. I gave my phone number with (area and country code) my email but have not had any communication back.
I am extremely dissatisfied, and just want this software to function. Is that too much to ask?
Note: This problem is happening always now, regardless of time being used.

I am hoping at all my problems are relateded to a problem I am experancing, when I look into my windows 7 (64bit) event viewer near every time I boot up I get an error regarding the NI Variable Engine which reads.
The description for Event ID 0 from source NI Variable Engine cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Shared\Tagger\ni_tagger_plugin_mxs.dll: Failure to load plugin: Unexpected Error: Unable to get the Interface from the plug-in.
and a second which is the same apart fomr the last line

I have tried uninstalling all labview things and I have tried repairing all labivew programs. Along with this I got this error when I installed Labview 2013 so I thougth why not try 2014 and I still get the same problems. I also shoudl point out I use bot 32 bit and 64 bit versions of labivew. I have installed labview on many machines before but never encountered this problem. That being said this was a new clean windows install.
Along with thiese errors labview heardly ever shuts down properly when I close the program it just freezes and needs forshed shut down.
Apart form this I noticed that when I run any of my Vis which I have never had problems with in the past and I stop the program somtiems processes keep using CPU such as "lktsrv.exe"
I really need to get this sorted out because its morstly the crushing and processes not stopping which is rather annoying.
I shoudl also say that these problems are both in the 32bit and 64 bit versions of labview not difference. and no difference if its 2013 or 2014

Thanks for your reply sorry I havetn noticed anybody had replied as I stopped hoping for any responce before then.
I have attached a screenshot of the four processes that seems to be giving me a problem.
I have actually managed to find the program causing labivew to crash was in fact my antivirus software which I have now removed and have no more problems with labview crashing on shutdown.
After removing it I tried the repair feature again for all my labview programs but sadly the one persistant problem remaining is still the four processes using around 13% processor each. I have found out this happens sometime after booting up regardless of if I run labivew or not. So it does not directly seem related to the running of any labview applications but rather a bug in the labview software.
the processes are:
lktsrv.exe
tagsrv.exe
nidmsrv.exe
lkads.exe
as shown in the task manager.
I would relaly help if I can get this sorted out.

Aperture processing gear will not stop spinning

using aperture 3.5 on a macbook pro retina 15 inch with OS X 10.9.5. Made adjustments to a photo and gear will not stop spinning. I have done the three repairs shut down and restarted. problem persists.

Raise Form_Trigger_Failure Not Working

On my form I have a button. This button updates 3 base table items from it's when-button-pressed trigger.
My problem is that when another user comes along and clicks the button for the same record before a previous user has committed their changes the following messages are displayed 3 times (once for each item that the button attempts to update fields?):
1. Could not reserve record (2 tries). Keep trying?
2. FRM-40501: ORACLE error: unable to reserve record for update or delete
My desired result would be that these messages only appear once regardless of how many items the button attempts to update and that the form processing would be stopped after the first messages are displayed. This isn't happening.
To try to accomplish this I am using an On-Error trigger to capture the FRM-40501 error message and instead display my own custom message followed by "Raise Form_Trigger_Failure".
Despite the On-Error trigger displaying my custom message successfully, the "Raise Form_Trigger_Failure" doesn't seem to stop the form from processing the remaining code in the when-button-pressed trigger. These messages still appear multiple times in a row and the remainder of the when-button-pressed trigger code continues to run.
So my question is why isn't my "Raise Form_Trigger_Failure" working to suppress subsequent messages? Is there a way I can address this?

The FORM_TRIGGER_FAILURE in the ON-ERROR-trigger will not stop the code in your WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED-trigger. Could you post the code from your trigger?

Photoshop CS6 not closing process photoshop.exe after shutdown

Oke I have this strange problem with processes that are not stopping Because it is not stopping i cant open photoshop on a later time hours later because the program thiks it is running on the background somewhere i cant find it. After terminating the process photoshop.exe and retry it opens again. What is wrong?

Do you have any other editing program like DxO installed? Sometimes that interferes with PS, but mostly Bridge. If you do, be sure you are running their most recent update. DxO cleared up after going to their 64 bit version.
I would attempt to isolate the problem starting in Safe Mode. Will PS exit properly in Safe Mode?
Online checks for similar problems (Firefox is notorious for this problem) indicates certain apps like Java is indicated, but I doubt this here. Also, corrupt drivers are indicated.
Run a query: "Apps won't close in Win7" in Google and see if you have any similar setups you come across there.

Debugger not stopping at the breakpoint

Hello all,
I am running transaction F110(Automatic Payment Transactions). I follow the below process for Check Payments.
Step - 1 : Put Run date and Identification.
Step - 2 : Set Parameters
Step - 3 : Set fields in the Additional Log Tab
Step - 4 : Choose a Program variant for program RFFOUS_C in Printout/Data medium Tab.
Now I have put a break point in the program RFFOUS_C. But when I run the Payment it does not stop at the breakpoint in the program RFFOUS_C.
This program in turn calls a sap script which prints a check. I also tried activating the debugger for sap script.
I dont know how to stop at the program. It goes to the spool and I can see the output in the spool request for the form i have created, but it does not stop at the breakpoint.
Any ideas or suggestions ?

Run F110 all the way to where you create the payment run. When doing the payment run, do not check "Print Immediatly".
After the run is complete, go to SE38 and run RFFOUS_C with your variant. You will have to enter the Run Date and Payment ID on the RFFOUS_C selection screen. Execute this program and you will hit your breakpoint.

Temporarily stop processing in a jsp

Hi,
I have the following question, and hope you can help.
I have a jsp, say a.jsp. During the processing the jsp may need additional information from the user. In that case it generates a pop-up window (using javascript) with a form that the user can fill in, and submit.
My questions:
1. Is it possible that a.jsp stops processing after generating the pop-up window? If so, how?
2. Is it possible that after the user submits the additional information a.jsp continues processing at the point after the generation of the pop-up window? If so, how?

It's possible although not exactly as you asked. Rather than stopping and starting the processing you would include or exclude content based on the state of your request. i.e. Let's assume that the first time a user enters your site you popup a form requesting they log in. If they've logged in you allow them to see the content of the page:

What I am saying is ..........
The iPhone HAS to be active making calls on the UK carrier network for the carrier to identify as "theirs" and therefore eligible for the Carrier to unlock
The way to achieve this is to use a PAYG sim making and receiving calls to establish a customer relationship with the Carrier and then follow the Carrier's process to unlock
With a PAYG it usually means adding a specified (by the carrier ) amount usually £15 /£20 depending on the carrier

Im trying to create a program which allows me to Start and Stop (and Restart) GameServers. I will then expand on this so i can start and stop them through a web applet with build in useraccounts.
Currently the way we do this is to log into the server using a RemoteAssistance. Which is not very safe as the users have the abbility to do anything on the server and potentially corrupt it.
Below is my code for how i start the servers. But i dont know how i would stop the process.

Using the process class would give you a nicer API, but using destroy isn't a nice way to shutdown a process. Its like killing the process with your task manager. You should make a connection in some way with the game server and tell it to shutdown in stead (gracefull termination).
