Formatting email sent as attachment (FONTS)

Hi all,
We are using BPM 11.1.1.5.0 with FP 4.
In our BPM process we have a human task where users enters the data and submit. The control goes to the next human task in the process flow. We are sending human task as attachment with the email notification. We have used router to send a different form in email where all the fields are formatted for better readability. Everything looks good till this point.
We noticed that the fonts in the email notification are small. Even though we increase the font size in the ADF form, that does not make any difference when sent to email. How can we override the default fonts and increase their size. I guess by default it is Tahoma 8.5 pixel.
I could not find anything related to this on google search or in forum search. May be I am not using the right combination of words. :(
Thanks,
Sachin Gupta

Hi all,
Can some one please help?
Thanks,
Sachin Gupta

  • Text message to email sent as attachment instead of in email body

I used to have this problem before with my iPhone 4, but it seemed to go away. Now, with the lates OS update it's back again. When I send a text message to my wife's Gmail it arrives as a text file attachment to the email instead of just normal text in the email body.
I use Verizon, and the source of the email is @vzwpix.com. I know that there is also @vtext.com, but in the past it hasn't mattered which one was used.
    Any ideas?

If you try reading other posts here about attachments and such you may get a hint. It sounds like all email programs would work fine if people just sent plain text. Problems arise when we use RTF (rich text format) and HTML. Possibly the original email you received had formatted text. My guess is that if you forced that text into plain text then it would be readable by all. This is the reason that only some people have trouble with the forwarded text. It depends on their email client or even on settings of that client.
    Good luck.

  • Blank message body when sending or receiving HTML formated emails Exchange 2010

I Have just installed Exchange Server 2010 over the weekend on a customers system.  All clients using either Outlook 2003 or 2007 are unable to see any text in the body of emails that are formatted in HTML.  If they receive an email formatted as HTML there is no body text, if they send an Plain Text formatted email the recipient sees the text in the body.  This problem presents across all Exchange users and affects all HTML formatted emails sent or received since transitioning from Exchange 2007 to 2010.  Plain Text and Rich Text email present with no issues. If we import old email via a pst they afre able to see all email text both HTML and plain text. when we access the clients email account via OWA all emails work but then if we go into outlook 2003/2007 and click the email it removes the body text from the email in both the client and OWA have tried Outlook connection issues with Exchange 2010 mailboxes due to RPC encryption requirement
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/2006508 and it made no difference at all.
    Thanks
Update: Have just tested further and all pc seem to work ok with either 2003 or outlook 2007 on.  The problem only seems to be happening on the remothe desktop services server which has outlook 2007 ( have also tried outlook 2003 with same results)

We have just migrated to Exchange 2010 and have had some blank emails come in to our system.  We think we have a reason and fix for
it. Hopefully this helps someone else…
Staffs have their own private mailbox (as you would expect) but also share common mailboxes like "Support" and "Info". When an email came
into the inbox on a shared mailbox, it might be blank. Plain text emails seemed to be okay.
We found that when an email came in, it was readable for about two or three seconds (you need to be setup to send a test and check the inbox quickly - we used Outlook 2007 with the reading pane turned on) and then it blanked out!. We checked the incoming
email by using the arrow keys to select it and then select the email below the new email, if you go back and forth between them you can see the good new email suddenly goes blank.
So send another test, but this time make sure the email is set to “Plain Text”. Our email turned up fine, two seconds latter
it had a NOD32 signature appended to the end of it saying that it had been scanned by NOD32 (you may have seen this kind of note appended to the end of emails before).
What appeared to be happening is that one or more users sitting at their desks in Outlook had different settings configured in NOD32 (they
were supposed to be using the server based profile that we control). We thought we had the server doing the AV work, but several of our client PCs had NOD32 enabled to integrate with Outlook. New items received in the shared Inbox’s were being scanned
by the client PCs and having a signature appended which was mucking up the HTML format of the email and Exchange 2010 blanked them out.
Make sure your AV products aren’t corrupting the email formats causing them to be displayed blank. Try tests using OWA only and don't
    access the mailbox using Outlook.
    Thanks.

  • How can i make the email sent as an attachment to account/intrec.record ?

    Hello Friends,
    We are on CRM7.0 .
    1. Customer can call the CIC and request IC agent for some change in his personal data ( Account details- first name , last name etc) or address data( telephone numbers changed, address changed due to reloaction etc)
    2. Now we already have made developments as when IC AGENT is changing any data related to account details or account address, an email is sent to the customer saying you have requested so and so changes and its pending for approval.
    3. We also have developments in place as when the concerned officer has approved the changes, an email is sent to the customer saying so and so changes are approved and updated with us.
    4. Now, the requirement is, whenever this email is getting sent( request email as well as approval email) , we would also like to have it as an attachment to the account so that we can keep track as when and what mail was sent and what changes where incorporated for a particulat customer
The option to me is either attach this email to the account or attach it to the interaction record.
Can anyone please guide me on
    1. Is it possible to track that email  and set it as an attachment ?
    2. We know that in Campaign, we have quessionair documents that get autoattached to the email's sent to target group in a campain-say for product proposal...or in some senarioes, these quessionairs are autoattached to the oppotunities when Sales Rep make the customer visit, they get these quessionairs filled. I am not functional and i dont know what backend configurations are done for it, I am a technical person. I would like to know, that is there any backend transaction or configuration seeting by which i can have emails sent to a customer get auto-attached to the interaction record or account ?
    Waiting for replies.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Multiple recipient livecycle form using javascript in it to attach a pdf, external recipients get MIME formatted email.

The livecycle designed form has javascript to send the form to 4 recipients.  The form worked fine until the mail domain was hosted by gmail (uses TLS, port 587).  Now recipients get a MIME email, not the attached PDF.  Old versions of the form pre-sept 29 work fine.  If we change the form or copy it, it does not work.  If we use a different smtp server to test, it works fine, all 4 recipients get the pdf.  Any advice is much appreciated!  I'd say gmail is the problem, but then why do old forms work fine still through gmail?
the setup is Adobe Livecycle Designer ES4, Adobe Acrobat XI, Outlook 2007, gmail hosted company domain (ex. yourdomain.com), using SMTP port 587 TLS, javascript in the email to declare a PDF, and a button to run the javascript (not a submit button, the javascript does the submit action).

First of all, a drop-down menu doesn't allow for multiple item selection. You'll need a list-box field for that.
Once you have that set up you can use the value(s) selected in this field as the recipients of the email.

  • How can I change the font in emails sent on my ipad or at least have it retain the font I copy

How can I change the font in emails sent on my ipad or at least have the email retain the font that I copy & paste into it?

There is no way that I know of within the native iPad email app. You might want to search the app store for a third party app that lets you change fonts if this is important.

  • When I send an email with an attachment larger than 1 MB in iMail, the email takes forever to be sent.

When I send an email with an attachment larger than 1 MB from iMail, the email gets suck in the sent folder.  This happens no matter if I am using wireless or using an ethernet connection.

Many email programs, including Mail, will send data up to a certain size.
The good new - there are some solutions. You can compress the file and make the email much faster to send; you can download a free application like Compress, which also allows you to uncompress. Or, you can send your email via your webmail connection (your ISP, like ATT); if you manage your email through your desktop computer, the email should be sent just fine.
Apple Mail is designed for smaller documents, well under 1mb.

every time i sent an email with 1 attachment, the recipient receives my attachment plus ATT00047.htm or some other file. why is that? how do i stop that?

We have the same problem every time we send out an email with attachments.
BTW, the ATT prefix on every file has nothing to do with you ATT card. It's just the naming convention used by Mail.app for ATTachment.
Now, can someone tell us how to fix this problem?
    Thanks.

There is a reason we suggest only composing HTML signature in the composer and saving the file. However, could you email me to see what that signature actually looks like (It might bounce we will see how google likes it.) this forum really messes up HTML source

  • How to change font size for email sent

Email sent from my 4th generation iPod Touch appears with a tiny font ( 4pt.) on computers screens and printouts. Is there a way to change this on the iPod Touch?  I have not been able to make the font larger in Mail on MBA. I am able to adjust font size of email form iPod Touch on Win 7.
    Thanks

Hi, I just tried a few of the other suggestoions on related threads. Adjusting the font in the iPod only enlarges font on screen of iDevice. I set it back to Medium. That was OK.
In Mail on MBA command + enlarges font on screen only. Printout is still very small.
Thsi\\is seems to be something related to Mail not the iPod. Email does appear in normal size font on iBook running Panther, XP, Win 7 units. Printouts are normal size too.
Thanks again for your help. Being able to make the font larger on the MBA screen is good.
