Forms 10.1.2.3 + Webutil + Sun plug-in (JRE) configuration error

I am trying to configure webutil, my forms version is 10.1.2.3, with IE-8 and I am using Sun plug-in (JRE),
I went through all the configuration steps in detail and checked several time but when i run webutel_demo form i get the bean not found error,
oracle.forms.webutil.clientInfo.GetClientInfo bean not found. WEBUTIL_CLIENTINFO.
GET_SYSTEM_PROPERTY will not work
Seeks help,
Thanks in advance.
Abbas

First, are you configuring Forms Builder to use WebUtil when you run a form from the builder or are you configuring your Application Server (AS)? The steps are the same, but it helps to know. :)
It sounds like you either missed the step where you configure the default.env to include the full path to the frmwebutil.jar or you missed the step where you setup the [webutil] section of the formsweb.cfg. If you have completed these configuration steps, I have also seen (and experienced) where webutil couldn't find the .jar's until I added frmwebutil.jar to the [default] archive= variable. The other cause I've seen is not including the *?config=webutil* tag in your application url to instruct your AS/OC4J to use the webutil config section.
Hope this helps,

Hi Ted,Thanks for the reply. But what I was interested in knowing was how many of the Eclipse-CR plugin jar files does CR require for a successful execution? Or do I have to import all 47 jar files? thanks

  • Sun Plug-In vs. Microsoft JVM

I'm looking for current percentages as to how many systems have Sun Plug-In vs. Microsoft JVM installed. Creating an application in which I want to force the end-users to use the Sun Plug-In but I need the current percentages to help convince my customer. If anyone knows of a site where I can find this information, would be much appreciated.

I don't know percentages but if you will have users on Windows XP or Longhorn, you can forget about using the Microsoft JVM cause it won't be there. Since you are creating a new application, I think it is a no-brainer to use Sun. In fact, Microsoft has published guides on transitioning away from the Microsoft JVM - see http://www.microsoft.com/mscorp/java/

  • When I click on firefox to open in my Mac, an error shows up: plug-in object Type error: id is undefined. When I click on the OK button, firefox opens. This never happened in FF 3. What is this?

Also when I am in a site, such as an account, and click on a highlighted link, I get another error, {Javascript Application] can't create mcafee plug-in object: Type Error: components. classes [cid] is undefined. The only mcafee I had on my computer was the secure search and I uninstalled it, but I still get this message. When I click on the OK button with the error message, then the link opens up.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • Configuration Error - Error 6  - Flash Builder 4 Plug In

Upon starting eclipse (after installing the fb4 plug in) I get a 'Configuration Error' error 6. Anyone have any ideas as to what this is and how to get over it. At the moment I cant even trial the software which I am evaluating for our company. I am not a flex / java dev so please assume an astounding level of ignorance! I have reinstalled several times and also tried with various different versions of Eclipse including the bundled option (which I do not particularly want to be forced to use anyway).... all of this to no avail. Version inf follows:-
    OSX 10.6.1
    Eclipse = Helios, latest release
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Are you using a Carbon version of Helios? There aren't many of those posted (most are Cocoa), but I think the SDK distro is still offered in Carbon flavor.
If that alone doesn't help, try looking for your error in these tables:
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/834/cpsid_83481.html
Though FB4 Plug-in is not exactly a CS5 app, it uses CS5 install/licensing libraries, so the same solutions would probably apply.

  • A pdf form I have designed cannot be exported due to an "unexpected error". What can I do?

When I try to save a particular pdf form I have designed I get a message that it cannot be exported due to an unexpected error. I have not had this problem with other forms I have created. What can I do?

Yes, Forms Central. I made the form by using a blank form page, copying and pasting another form I had done previously to the blank page and then modifying it.
The original form I had copied from as the basis for the new form saved as a pdf form perfectly: the copied and then modified version kept displaying the error message.
In the end I have managed to work around this problem by opening another template form (the Assessment one) and spending forever copying the items from the form i couldn't export over to the " template form one at a time (after deleting the template items, naturally).
I will be making other forms that will have versions with minor variations and it would be much easier if I could copy and paste a whole form at a time rather than cell by cell but is that going to make the copied forms impossible to export from FormsCentral as it did with this one?

  • Form Program Name language EN is not active and has no errors

    Dear all,
I'm new to SAP development.  I have copied the standard RLVSDR40 and made some modification on it.  When i tried to print in lt31.  I encounter the following error:
"Form <program name> language EN is not active and has no errors".
Any idea about this?? What is the standard procedure of this kind development??
    Regards,
    Kit

    hi
first go to SE71 and give Form Name and Original Language of the form and copy it to zform.
Now open this Zform in change mode and go to Utilities-> change original language to log on language here EN in your case-> and save it.
Now your Zform is in language EN note tat now when you are opening your zform to modufy you might be trying to change it in DE so change language to EN and then modify it.
After making changes go to NACE transaction to assign this zform to transaction you are using.
Nace->choose application->output type->choose your output type->Double click processing routines->you will find one column pdf smartform/scriptname-> here give your zform name
It will surely work if not get back to me

  • Cant install raw 7.3 download plug in get U44M11208 error message

cant install raw 7.3 download plug in get U44M11208 error message

Thanks so much Jeff, yes I knew that, in task manager bridge cs5 wasn't open, but found out that CS5 cannot accept raw7.3 plug-in, so had to upgrade to CS6, which I did, but still couldn't upgrade to raw7.3, as it wouldn't load on Adobe Application Manager, as it kept saying cs5 bridge was open, which it wasn't, and when I opened cs6 and went to browse in bridge it didn't open cs6 bridge but opened cs5 bridge. Couldn't uninstall cs5 bridge, but finally opened mini bridge in CS6, then opened CS6 bridge which gave me option to close cs5 bridge, open cs6 bridge, which then allowed me to uninstall cs5 bridge, so I could download raw7.3.
So after 4 hours of searching the web, and getting thru to Photoshop support I can finally open the raw images from the EOS 6D, which has much less noise at 3200 than my IDS MK3
I am annoyed with Adobe's attitude, which was you cannot use RAW images from the EOS 6D with older versions of Photoshop, RAW plug-ins were always manually loadable into programme files, so had to pay for upgrade

    I make some changes like:
    1. make sending Command in separated Thread to take its time.
    2. change P3 from FF to 00
    the result was :
-NO Exception incase P3=00 , but the returned status was 6E 00
-When i put P3 any value except 0 , The Exception occur in all cases (even separate Thread or in the main thread)
    The problem now :
I must send 9 commands (Card Recyle Command) to format my card , first eight commands (1---->8) should return
    9F 20 as status byte , but when i made P3=00 the returned status was 6E 00
but the last command returned 90 00 (P3=00) as it is expected
the Card OS was Bantry OS
-Question can i make format the card in different way ?
    -According to Reader:
    I use 3 different readers (PC/SC)
    - Dell USB Keyboard Smart Card Reader
-SCM Microsystems SCR33x USB Smart Card Reader (http://www.crownhill.co.uk/product.php?prod=1786)
-SCM Microsystems SCR24x PCMCIA Smart Card Reader
if u recommend reader for me
-Can i use Linux (to use different stack rather than PC/SC) ?
Another thing could be is that some of card readers do no support 255 bytes data field in one command. In this case data shouold be transfered by smaller portions. How can i do this (data should be transfered by smaller portions.) ?
    give me example if possible.
    Thanks in Advance.
