Forms and OLE - Help!

Question

Hi to all, I3m trying to write some functions using the OLE2
package from Forms 5.0 to send a mail thru the SimpleMAPI
interface (not MAPI). I3m using SimpleMAPI calls because I need
it to work either with Outlook (which works with MAPI and
SimpleMAPI calls) and Netscape Messenger, which does not support
MAPI,as their technet pages states - Messenger supports only
SimpleMAPI, and it3s another set of functions.
The problem is, looking at the SimpleMapi specifications, it
says that some handlers that I need to get are returned in the
argument list that I pass to the method called, like a 'IN OUT'
parameter to a function. Looking at the functions from the OLE2
package, none of them seens to support this (all parameters are
implemented as IN parameters only.) How can I get one value from
a argument list passed to a method, using the own argument list?
Is it possible?
Looking at some threads here someone suggested using OCX
controls to invoke MAPI. Is this easier than using OLE2? Is there
some example available of using those OCX controls?

I have found difference between
"--The Word Macro is: ActiveDocument.Protect ..."
and
"...ole2.invoque(aplication, 'Protect', args);".
The last function call(invoke) the Application.Protect method. It isn't Application.AciveDocument.Protect method. You can try to use:
DECLARE
MyDocument ole2.obj_type;
BEGIN
MyDocument:=ole2.get_obj_property( application, 'ActiveDocument' )
ole2.invoke(MyDocument, 'Protect', args);
ole2.release_obj(MyDocument);
ole2.release_obj(aplication);
END;
