Forms sent to email

Well i have this form. (will send link if needed) and i want
it to send me the information that they submit to my email... How
do i do this? thanks in advance

the form values will have to be processed on the host server,
but an appropriate solution
(e.g. using a prefab script for sending the mail or having to
develop a custom-built "processor") depends on the "server
model" supported by the host server -- is it PHP, ASP, CF or
something else ?

Hi,
It has to be with Co. Code but via Plant. You will have to maintain entries of plant (and preferably Co. Code) in a 'Z' table and write an enhancement to check entries in the table before sending. Those available shall be sent.

Secure pdf form sent by email

I created a self-signed digital ID for both signature end data encryption.
Then I created a pdf form by using livecycle and put it on our website, and after users fill it in, they will click submit by email to submit the data.
I tried to create a self-signed digital ID.- that also does data encryption. Then I did a test to fill the form, send by email. I suppose it has encrypted the attached PDF form, but I can open it just like regular form without encryption. How can I know if it is encrypted or not?

This is my exact concern. I want to know that return email with xml data files are encrypted for confidentiality. Does anyone know how this is done?

Forms sent by email are not coming back to either my email or Tracker.

I have a number of people who review products for me and I create review forms for each product in Acrobat XI Pro (WIN). I distribute the forms, via email, to sets of individuals. They have been filling them out and Submitting them. Mnay have followed up to confirm that I have gotten their response but it is nowhere to be found, not in my Email Inbox or Tracker. I did this for years in IX and never had a problem. Ideas, thoughts, suggestions? All are welcome. Thanks so much.

How do you figure this is a Thunderbird problem? Thunderbird hands the email off to your providers SMTP server and then it is done. It has no control over what the servers that the message pass through do with it.

Can anyone help me with sending a form via email to an email recipient? Much appreciated.

Are you using Dreamweaver? If so you have a few options. It sounds like you may not be a coder? Do you know what type of server side coding you need to use PHP or ASP are the most common.

They want
the answers to the form be emailed.
However, they host their own pages on a microsoft-based
server that
has no perl library, VB library, etc.
Is there a way to do a form and generate an email totally on
the
client side with no server based application needed
whatsoever?

You can create a simple mailto: link on the form that will
invoke the client
mail program but it is not that reliable. However if they are
hosting using
IIS it does have built in mail capability via CDO using an
ASP page, or it
can be set up to run ASP.Net with its mail handling scripts.

Getting javascript error while opening offline adobe forms sent via email.

I have written the code in Javascript and run at client.
Below is my sample code:

            Thanks for your replies.
I have made Show -> click and Language -> Javascript and Run at -> Client for the button 'ADD'(this button inserts line) and in the blank space i have written the code as stated above.
Then,i have activated the form.
As per the Submit button it is working fine...
I am new to adobe forms and i have done a self-training for this..
Maybe I am doing something wrong...

Have a form sent to an email address after completion without the use of Mailto:

This project is for a dentist office.
We need to have the customers go to the office website and fill out a form before their appointment. I need the completed form to the sent by email to the receptionist.
Below are some of the issues to be resolved;
Mailto: will not work with web based emails.
Some users will have trouble with download, complete, and attaching the form to the web email client.
Do not need to analyze data I only need to print the form it can be filed in the office records.
In essence I need a web form that can be filled out on the web and when submitted show up in a mailbox.
I was hoping this could be done through Form Central, however if coding is require I have some experience with ASP.net and the office website is sitting on an ASP server. Also if this project needs coding to accomplish please leave sample(s), or links to point me in the right direction.

Could I use FormsCentral to collect the data than have one of the office personnel login and retrieve the data into a PDF format and/or download data and merge into PDF form in the office for printing. Also if the previous is doable, can the FormCentral collection form sent an email that a form has been fill out.

Use PHP to create a table within your message body:
    $message = '<table border="1">';
    $message .= '<tr>';
    $message .= '<td>E-mail :</td><td>'.$email.'</td>';
    $message .= '</tr><tr>';
    $message .= '<td>Company :</td><td>'.$company.'</td>';
    $message .= '</tr>';
    $message .= '</table>';
The above script will capture Email & Company. But you should get the idea. Add all the desired fields within here by creating new <tr> rows/ columns.
And your existing script will do the rest of mailing this out as a 'table'.

Contact form, sent via other email

I have made a website for a customer that contains a contact form and that website is hosted on businesscatalyst. So far, so good.
However, the messages that my customer receives through that contact form have my email address as the sender. How can I change that?

You can change it from Site manager > System pages > Default "From" email address from the site's admin panel on BC.

You could use the "Email Receipts" or Email Notification" features in Options tab.
Please check these out and see if this is what you are looking form.

You will need to add a email field to your form requesting the form-submitter to enter his/her email so that after the form-submit an email is sent to him/her.
